it looks like a conscious post decision unfortunately, i got that screenshot to look so much better from two seconds of tweaking color settings just on my phone, actual editing software could do even better Especially with raw footage

this has been such a big thing in movies/shows recently i feel like:((( it makes me sad, same blandification vibes as the whole minimalist with everything white and off-white accents thing that rich people do to their houses, shit sucks. wheres the whimsy, wheres the fun, im going to a big building to sit ina room in the dark with a bunch of strangers to stare up at a flat wall with flashing light pictures on it. its gona be loud enough to break the sound barrier. wHy is hollywood still tryna force the Gritty, Too Dark To See Shit, Desaturated Realistic TM garbage on everything😭 god forbid adults have any joy in their lives whatsoever

(obviously the set is a lot less colorful as well, the buildings are pretty bland other than the flowers it seems, but the editing choice makes it *really* in-your-face unmissable, which is extra ridiculous to do for something in a world as nonsensical as this, it Should be over the top)
