okay my teacher is late to my eclasses by 15 minutes now so i might as well ramble abt security breach. i was. Hyped. for security breach. i was excited dude i was fucking. Ecstatic when the first trailer came out. because the first trailer was. very reminiscent of old fnaf, i think. the music, the vibes of it all. it felt like scott was steering the franchise in like, a good direction again . but then . The Thing. happened. and it steel wool presumably had to take the wheel on a franchise they didnt create and have it released by the end of the year. and its visible they never passed their driving exam.

im sure the devs tried their best. but also. i feel like a lot of stuff was just. shoehorned in. security breach has two games in it. the first one was created by scott, the second was created in an attempt to save a sinking ship that had millions of dollars shoved into it. and to be clear - i dont blame the devs. because. they were left in charge of a project theyd need YEARS to rework. its obvious the pizzaplex wasnt done and it wasnt in working condition so they presumably decided to solve it by possibly removing a free roam aspect and guiding your hand through the game. and while im very sure that stuff like the glamrock freddy friend aspect was SUPPOSED to be in the game because like, it was leaked w the funko figures, i dont think it was supposed to be nearly as prominent as it ended up being.

comparing the two security breach trailers is. jarring. the first one feels like at least a SLIMMER of what watching the fnaf 2 trailer for the first time did, the second is. cartoony, almost. its obvious Something switched in development and what we ended up with is an almagamation that is neither a fnaf game, nor a good game. because like. we never got to hear ANYTHING abt who was speaking in the first teaser trailer and vanessa spoke to us maybe. once. in game?

i like security breach and its characters bc i think theyre like. fun. they look fun theyre fun designs on their own but theyre not animatronics. but i also really just hate a lot of things abt it. watching markiplier struggle through a washing machien section for half an hour was one of the most dreadful experiences of my life because i saw the franchise that literally fundementally shaped me as a person dissolve in front of my eyes for what felt like the thousandth time.

i just kinda refuse to acknowledge it as canon...? like genuinely jokes aside. i HATE the glamrock freddy posession and robot-greggory theories going strong in the community. its just. graugh !!!

It’s late when Clyde comes home, back to his trailer.

You had moved in a couple months ago, you had been friends for so long and you needed a new place to stay so…. You moved in with your best friend, Clyde.

You truly didn’t mind his odd hours from working at the bar. You didn’t mind that oftentimes you eat alone, leaving him some leftovers in the fridge. Sometimes you stayed up for him, sometimes you just happened to be awake, be it because you were working or studying for school. On those nights, Clyde will come home with a little smirk pulling at his lips. You’ll look at him and smile too, knowing what this means.

You can both order something and eat together.

You’ll push away whatever it was that you were working on, making room for him on the couch while you tell each other about your days, finding comfort in the soft mundaneness that you’ve come to crave with him.

Tonight was no different. You were curled up on the couch, book after book surrounding you, a stupid late night coffee keeping you awake as you scribbled words into various notebooks strewn all across the living room. You were sort of a messy roommate, but Clyde never once complained. He came to love your mess. Sort of how he… how he loves-

He turns the ignition off as he enters his driveway. He’s home earlier than usual tonight as you hear the car turn off. You can’t help the way your heart pounds with excitement, happy to not be alone anymore. You rush to the doorway to greet him.

Clyde wonders if you’ll be awake. He truly doesn’t know, there isn’t really a pattern that he’s noticed with you; which days you’re more likely to be awake, or to be asleep either on the couch or in your bed. It’s always a little surprise for him.

Keys jangling, twisting into the door and pushing it open, you’re right there to greet Clyde with a dopey, sleepy smile. Clyde’s heart pounds a little heavier in his chest.

“Hi, Clyde.” You smile up at him, noticing the bag he holds in his hand.

“Hey, Darlin’.” He holds out the bag for you to take and you continue to look up at him inquisitively. He smiles knowingly down at you. “Thought I’d surprise you with somethin’ to eat, had a feelin’ you’d still be up.”

Clyde’s back collides with the front door behind him, a groan leaving his lips as yours smash into his. It’s forceful, maybe a little messier than you intended… But you hadn’t really intended anything. You just - you just acted, so tired that you were functioning on impulses alone. You launched yourself onto Clyde, letting your hand rest on his chest and you lifted yourself up onto your tippy toes to kiss him.

Clyde hadn’t pushed you away, hadn't pushed your advances away. He just didn’t know what it meant, what you meant by it. He brought his hand to your cheek, holding your face in his much larger hand. You were so warm against him, like a little heater.

“M’sorry… sorry, I-” You mutter against his lips, not truly sure what you’re apologizing for, Clyde doesn’t seem to mind though.

“Stop talkin’.” He kisses you back, much to both of your surprise. He shuts you up with the glide of his lips against your own, licking into your willing mouth with a fervour you had never thought he could possess.

Clyde spins you around and presses you against the door now, the bag of food falling out of your grip and onto the floor, where the food sits in its bag, waiting to be reheated.

Uhhh so weapons in hallownest, right??? We've got the nail, the needle, and now the pin. And we do know of the real world counterparts, and their uses. Honestly i think it kinda says somethin abt the bugs who have notably wielded them. And not just individually???? But like. When comparing them together, too

Needles lead the thread, and while they are guided, they still get to move. They aren't simply stuck somewhere, unless something has gone wrong w the thread, and even then the needle itself is still fairly free to move

Pins and nails on the other hand, don't, not really.

Nails get hammered into place, to hold something down. They are stuck, usually permanently

Pin also are used to hold something down, even if its only temporary, and not done quite as violently as the nail, as they are simply pushed, not hammered in. Then, depending on what kind of pin and what kind of person is using said pin, they're either discarded and thrown away, or theyre carefully put away, to be used for another day or, if you're like me, theyre forever stuck into your unfinished projects

With the end of the infection, these threads have been snipped. With the beginning of silksong, Hornet has been knotted and untied. And, as for the weavers, they managed to escape Hallow Nest fairly smoothly, yes? Cutting their threads and fleeing the rotting, molding, burning fabric.

And Lace. We don't know much about her, but we've got some frankly awesome theories. I really dont have much to say here

Let’s Review The Sims 4 Eco Living

So I seen @marsosims​ react to the trailer and it inspired me to go a bit further. I won’t lie, I’m not happy with this pack one bit, but i decided to go back through the trailer and other trailers to show you and also see for myself what features have been reused and basically just made into a lazy pack. First i need to say, if you haven’t seen this post i made here, then you probably don’t know that i think it’s a rehashed pack of Laundry day, Island Living and Tiny living into a weird my first pet stuff diaster. But let’s take a look shall we?

So far i’m not overly impressed with the cas things i’m seeing. i like the pink jumper, and the little rainbow is cool but i’m sure i’ve seen these same meshs over and over and over again. This is why i wish i could hide the packs in cas and only have CC, it all feels boring. Also would it kill EA to make a proper pair of highwaisted jeans or shorts like CC creaters have? I also gotta agree with @aleniksimmer​ those space buns remind me of miraculous ladybug and the multimouse hair. i like it. it has potential.

i mean i think my edit sums this up nicely. do like the nose ring ngl.

In conclusion i feel like country livin’ would have been nicer? but of course it had to be to good to be true considering it shared the same name as the sims 3 store mini set with the chickens, you know the one that people converted for the sims 4 with the hen house? yeah that.  Personally i would have liked that more, like i just want somethine different? A country world like Appaloosa Plains (from the sims 3) would have been lovely? or give me something completely different, like in the survey they had places we could pick from and you know i would have liked to see a option for an Australian themed one (it’s where i’m from so it would be cool?) or an Indian world? or something that isn’t pirmary a “western” place and yeah i know we got island living’s world but what one world based on hawaii is enough?  (also if its small like strangeville, Magnolia Promenade or Glimmerbrook then imma be pissed, this also includes Del Sol Valley but that had big lots so idk i kinda let it off the hook) Anyway that’s all i have to say, thanks for stopping by Gamer!  (if theres any spelling mistakes im so sorry! it’s dyslexia)

I wasnt always a Grunt. I never imagined I would be, I dont know how you can ever see somethin like that coming. I wish I had seen it earlier, because of how happy I am now.

All I have tosay is that I am in a crew, I have a Boss and I have a Chief. They give me orders and I do them because thats what Grunts do. Grunts are Crew Property.

Im what most people would call a Redneck. Even though I live in the city, my Boss and my Chief want me to be a sertain way. Its not good for me to make choices, because I always fuck it up. Its way easier to do what Im told.

Its been a slow process but in the last few months Its been goin faster. Now I wear a lot more leather and we branewash every night, wich is important to me because branewashin is good for me. Theres times when I kinda fall back into who I used to be, because I lived it for so long, but Chief and Boss always remind me that aint who I am anymore. People change, its not so wierd that Im who I am now. Its kinda always who I’ve been anyway underneath. Bossn Chief just help bring it out.

I never relax as good as when Im branewashin. I love hearin the leather creakin n shit when Boss puts me in the chanes and the coller. I love gettin a lil tripped out when the spirals come on the big screan. And all the pics, some of em even look like me. Or I look like them or somethin. Ether way, Its good for me.

Ive always liked dogs, but Im not sure why. Maybe cuz I just never liked cats, cuz they were kinda stupid and smelled bad. A good dog is a good frend, he always hangs out with you and licks your face and rolls around and is a good time. Thats what Im kinda like to my Boss n Chief as a Grunt, cuz Grunts is crew property. Im loyal as fuck and Ill fuck anyone up who trys to fuck with Boss or Chief. Like a dog too. I got a big ass wolf tatted on my arm an hes howlin, it looks badass. I got it cuz Boss told me to get it. Boss knows best.

Someday Boss tells me we wont be in the city anymore, itll be on big land probably in the South and ill work the land. Boss sez its okay that Im more like his employee. He marryed me because its the best way to own me. Theres even a contract that makes me like legaly owned by Boss n Chief. I signed it but I dont remember much about it cuz the words were really fuckin big and I got bored plus Chief said just sign it Grunt so i signed it Grunt and he wacked me on the head and said now he had to make a new one becuz I had to sign my REAL name but i forgot i had one.

Oh yea its Critter, I said when I remembered.

Boss and Chief laughed alot, then Boss took out my wallet from my pants and showed me my drivers ID and it said TUCKER JOHN PRICE.

So thats the name Im suposed to sign on the thing, Chief sez, and I think I get it, but now we gotta wait til he gets a new contract made up.

This is why I gotta dont think for myself, because like Boss n Chief say, its bad for me. I dont think, Boss n Chief think for me.

Slowly the way I think is changeing too. Every once in awhile Ill get a good brite flash of the way Im should be thinkin, slow n simple. Sometimes Ill realize that I wasnt even thinkin at all for a long time, jus kinda zonin out. Sometimes I wake up and Im all in leather and Im watchin the pics go by, all the spirals n shit. Sometimes Ieven think I see myself in those pics, but its goes by so fast that I cant tell.

Sometimes I dream Im in the yard, Im in the future, I feel the sun beatin down on my back and I see I got a shovel in my hand, Im doin some yardwork. I know my trailer aint too far away, and I know I got a shit ton of Coors Lite in the mini frige out there. Theres a piece of wood with the words CRITTERS PLACE painted on it that I did, hangin over the door. The Big House is behind me, and the Branewashin Room is downstairs, with the big screans and the chair with all the yellow straps and chanes. I can still taste the powedery pill that Boss gave me to eat before I sat down in it and can still feel the leather hood that he put over my face on my face now.

Soon we are goin to the South to see Chief. Chief sees me evry day tho, becauze they put a camera in my room. Crew Property gets wached by the higherups. I gotta do good cuz they allways wachin. Chief sez that when I get there Im gonna get more ink. Boss been sayin that he wants me to get a noes ring. That Im a Tattooed Low Life Leather Lovin Freak Dirty Fuckin Redneck, and I should act like it more, act like it better. He sez that if I dont shape up, Im gonna be wearin that muzzle alot more.

Sumtimes it feels a lil wierd, but I gotta remember that im a Grunt, im Crew Property. Even if I feel like maybe once bfore I was Smart or sumthin, even then I wasnt as Smart as Boss n Chief. Definly not now. Im such a good grunt that I even feel like I need to be punnished allot becuz of how often I let myself think im Smart like Boss n Chief. Cant see that on the camra so I gotta say it out loud.

Chief sez my believes will change eventualy. He sez Ive come so far. Boss sez Im a new person. I just know im Grunt, im Crew Property. I dont make choses cuz it hurts my brane. Thats why I need branewashin so that my brane can stop hurtin cuz I gotta think durin the day. I beleve what Chief sez and what Boss sez becuz they havent ben rong yet. Im sure Ill change evn more to what they want becuz Im a Grunt and Im Crew Property, and soon itll be on a contract as soon as I dont fuck it up on the paper.

mystery punk girl

alright fellas i gotta make sure i don’t embarrass myself this time, we got like, stakes and shit now. SO *breaks fingers* let’s make a masterpost of theories

aka i heard someone was interested in some mystery punk girl theories and decided to collect all the one’s i’ve gotten so far

tl;dr: mystery punk girl could literally be anything/anyone. we go over a few theories, notably ones that paint her as a younger sibling to the Calypso twins (Tyreen = First Sister). we also have one where she is a fraternal twin to Ava and mirrors Troy as the non-Siren-twin of a relationship. we also talk about why she hasn’t been getting a lot of cultist worship, like maybe she’s gone missing, or died. also that she may betray the twins (if! she was ever on their side to begin with! 👀) because her color scheme is one of a friend and tbh the twins seem suuuper close and she doesn’t seem to be getting any recognition from the cult.

from the numskull pin page, also where we learned she’s listed as ‘Punk Girl’

so to get to the point, the most obvious theory is that mystery masked girl is the younger (est?) sibling to the twins.

when mouthpiece talks in the beginning of the HBC demo, he calls Tyreen the ‘first sister’. I mention that in a post here (during my live post spamming of the event lol)

it’s mostly interesting because when you refer to someone as ‘the first’, usually the second part of that is what you’re referring to. 

@sugar-high-viking​ brought this to my attention as well when the pins dropped, and also made a great point that she might be either a half-sibling (different colored hair), OR, to tie into my atlas theory about the twins, a similar experiment, but not blood-related (that part is in the notes of said post, i copied it here for easier reading)

which i adore because atlas twins is my favorite theory that’s probably never going to happen. (also hi if you’re reading this, sorry for the tag! i wanted to give credit because that was brilliant)

we do have a biiiit more stuff to go over.

the whole backdrop thing feels to me like an order of importance.

we have the God Queen at the very top and in the middle. 

on her left is the vault hunters, who of course are going to have a prominent role in the story.

on her right is Troy, her right-hand man (ala the cosplay guide) 

and below Troy we have Mystery Punk Girl. can i call her MPG? i feel like i’m allowed to call her MPG

So her and Troy are about the same level as the Vault Hunters.

We can’t really infer that Tyreen is the oldest sibling (First Sister, with Troy possibly being the Second Brother? Or, Troy is the First Brother, Tyreen is the First Sister, and MPG is the Second Sister. i’d imagine the latter is correct because the former would have to use First Sibling to be correct) but we can guess that things on top are ordered in terms of importance.

And considering we haven’t seen NPG in ANY promo material or trailers yet? yeah i imagine she’s not shown off like the twins are, which would explain her lower level. now if that’s because she’s too important for them to be flashy with her, or if because they don’t think she’s worthy, or they want to protect her, or whatever, I wouldn’t be able to say.

Furthermore, we can also guess she’s not in an Angel-type situation. It’s heavily implied Ava is the Siren successor to Maya (but not officially stated). We know she has feathers on her outfit, but as I found out a bit ago, those (likely) aren’t meant to represent the wings that Tyreen and Lilith have on the MoM. They’re part of the clothing some cultists wear (possibly to emulate her looks like they do with Troy and Tyreen).

again, none of this is proven, as Ava nor Maya have wings on the MoM, but it is interesting to note. Also, if Ava does end up being a Siren (say her tattoos take a while to grow big enough for us to see, or they appear after her powers come in, fixing the Angel w/ no tattoos on jack’s desk “plot hole” we see in tps) then there’s no way for Punk Girl to have been a Siren.

okay, we know for a fact Troy’s red tattoos aren’t there because of Lilith. 

As of right now, we have officially sourced stuff showing him with his red tattoos during the HBC (on the hologram), which we’ve proven takes place before the Sanc-III scene where Lilith gets her powers stolen.

there are plenty of theories as to why he’s got those tattoos then: because the twins were conjoined, they got the powers from a vault (the one shown on the walls of the HBC), they were experiments, they were experiments because they were conjoined twins, they’re fake Sirens, fake Sirens due to the experiments, etc, etc. i could go on for ages, but im not gonna, cause we’re not here for this.

im going to take the ‘the twins were conjoined’ theory and run with it for a secco. we had that interview where paul sage said at one point either in the development cycle OR in the timeline (the wording is not clear), the twins were conjoined twins. We’ve also seen that the spanish (i believe!) translation of the Calypso Twins yields the version that says they’re conjoined, not just normal twins. so we’re going to hope it’s the right theory.

we know there can only be 6 sirens in the universe. if tyreen was chosen but was still conjoined with her brother, it’s possible he could’ve been messed up by the magic or advanced tech or whatever it is that picks Sirens, and that’s where the red tattoos come from.

So what if MPG is the same way? twin to Ava, ended up not being the one who got the Siren power, rebelled and joined the CoV in hopes of getting her own powers, maybe even to get Tyreen to heal her since it’s possible having a twin with Siren powers can cause an affliction to the other twin. 

It’d be really interesting if the two were abandoned at a young age and it ended up being that Ava was picked up by the Order of the Impending Storm and MPG wasn’t, as Ava was a Siren (like Maya) and MPG wasn’t, so she turns to the cult for help/support/whatever and the twins take a shine to her and basically adopt her as their little sibling. 

(awww maaan i still gotta do my Maya masterpost. hmmm so much to do, so little time...)

tho, that’s 100% unfounded and me spitballing into the void. mostly cause i think she’s gonna end up looking a lot older in game than she does in the MoM. though, in defense, she is titled ‘Punk Girl’, not ‘ Punk Lady’ or ‘Punk Woman’ or whatever. so there’s that, and it seems wild they’d be introducing 2 young girls around the same age and NOT have them be related in some way. even if they’re just storyline parallels to each other (Ava having everything because she’s a Siren and MPG not)

A better theory, is that she’s the 3rd leader/sibling/figurehead of the cult. The game revolves around the number 3, it’s even acknowledged in universe.

3 pieces to the Vault Map? but the twins got that in its entirety. no reason to look for all three parts.

once lily gets her powers removed, there are 3 Sirens in play (that we know are 100% confirmed atm) Tyreen, Maya, Amara.

yeah, i think the most reasonable answer is that the number 3 is tied to the cult in some way.

while i find it hard to believe she’s something as prominent in the cult as a third figurehead (lack of statues, posters, acknowledge at all whatsoever), i could 100% see her being a third sibling, however.

So why isn’t she being worshipped like the twins? Maybe they’re keeping her out of the light for a reason. 

Maybe she’s sick, like Troy, but Ty can’t heal her right away for some reason, or she picked Troy over her or smth (we’re told troy is the smart one, afterall, maybe Ty decided to pick the sibling she’d get the most use out of. or the one she’s closer to, being twins and all). 

I had that dumb theory that Tyreen is Demeter (Troy is Demophon) and MPG is Persephone, taken away by the Vaults/Eridians/whatever in the twins’ attempt to heal her and either it locked her away somewhere, or it killed her. (Her being sick could also explain the ventilator she’s wearing, but i have another theory about that in just a secco.) And her being missing/dead is part of the reason Tyreen and Troy are trying to get the ultimate power, they’re trying to bring her back to life/heal her. And it could explain why she isn’t being referenced at all in most worship art, maybe the twins banned it or whatever. but if she is sick, i wonder why she wasn’t just miraculously healed by the Guardians (the Watcher specifically?) like whatsherface in TPS.

She could also be something like their secret weapon, maybe she has knowledge about something we don’t yet- be it warp travel, eridium testing, Sirens, Vaults, Eridians, etc, that’s giving the twins the better edge. Eridium testing could explain the ventilator, plus we see a giant waterfall of somethin’ glowing purple and i would bet it’s slag/eridium. 

plus you know im a strong believer of my ‘the twins are using the chemical sludge of elpis to give their followers superpowers’ theory. i mean, if they actually are teleporting the moon (and NOT blowing it up), then it could almost make sense if they want their source of superjuice near their new base of operations/vault/whatever. mostly because we haven’t yet seen Ty give anyone Lily’s powers. As far as we know right now, she’s the sole holder of Lilith’s powers. at the very least, they’re mutating them with eridium/slag. but i wanna believe! so maybe MPG is their way of doing that. giving them insider knowledge of the chemical sludge on the moon, doing tests on it, subjecting the cultists to it, etc. We do see the big boy cultist smack dab in the middle of the mask with rakk wings, which are kind of a corruption of the angel wings we see the Sirens have. and since the Lost Legion Eternal basically have knockoff Siren/Guardian powers due to the chemical sludge on elpis, it would make sense.

she COULD also be our way into the cult. we know nothing about the gal, maybe she’s going to provide us a way to get insider knowledge. im sure whatever the twins post they’re fine with their cultists seeing, so we’d need someone higher up in the proverbial ladder to give us the good info. i do think it’s interesting she does not match the Twins’ colorscheme at ALL. she’s gray and black, yeah, but she’s also pink and orange (yellow?).

it seems off that, if we are to consider them a unit, their colors clash so hard. (seriously, red and pink? oh my god!) I could almost see it as their way of hinting that she’s not 100% conforming to the twins.

I could also kinda see her being jealous of the relationship her older siblings have, how they’re so close because they’re twins and they share this bond over the Siren tattoos/starting a cult together. I could see her betraying them at some point because she’s sick of being pushed into the background. the pink and orange is a nice color combo compared to the reds and blacks. she certainly looks designed to be a friend.

its not just im nostalgic its that i want desperately for the generation i love to get any goddamn recognition at all. fuckin gold and silver were already beloved as the best generation even before their remake. ruby and sapphire got some unfair hate for the no transfer between games thing but that died immediately after the first remake happened. neither of them were in this unique situation where they were fuckin DEAD ON ARRIVAL and waiting TWELVE YEARS for resuscitation!

sinnoh failed ENTIRELY not on its lack of appeal as a generation but because of goddamn CONSOLE LIMITATIONS

it was slow, it was buggy, it had buddy green brown palettes, the wifi didnt work. all problems with it being an experimental first ds game by the company. it was fuckin HATED as the WORST GENERATION for so many years and it wasnt its goddamn fault and like seriously its only even become TOLERATED again because of this ‘sinnoh confirmed’ meme that NINTENDO FUCKIN REFERENCES AS IF THEYRE GONNA ACTUALLY DO IT ANY TIME IN THE NEXT DAMN DECADE

fuck i was more hyped for lets go than i am for this. like a second kanto remake was the thing i hated the most but at least it seemed original enough with the goofy new minigame for catching and loads of nice reveals like the return of following pokemon and stuff. this trailer didnt really say anything except hey its a new region hey the starters look generic as fuck. nothing to mitigate the dissappointment

and i feel AWFUL cos i know rationally that this is a great pretty game and nothing about it is actually bad yet and my only complaint is that i only like one out of three starters when i felt the same way about sinnoh itself. its just that feeling ‘meh its probably okay’ isnt what i hoped for. i hoped even if it wasnt what i wanted itd be something else equally as hype? just ‘meh’ has turned into ‘oh god no’ cos man ive been up for 48 hours getting hype for this shit why the fuck am i unable to not get hype even though i KNOW every goddamn time its a dissappointment and it has been for years and it will continue to be every goddamn time

So yeah im not sure what other european country this might be, the outfits make me say possibly holland? but im just real glad that someone other than britain gets to be ‘sword and shield’ and the only british representation we get is thematic elements being used for the design of team plasma’s uniforms. yes thank you we were fuckin colonialist pigs please never glorify our military ever again in any fiction. please never put a sword anywhere near fiction britain unless youre ready to talk about how many indigenous cultures we slaughtered. It ain’t that I’m a dumbass.  I did OK in school ... I just fuckin hated it.  Day after day sittin in the same desk in the same row under the same buzzing lights with the same teacher’s voices buzzing like flies on a corpse.  

I graduated HS ok, too.  Wasn't like, class prez or nothin, but I passed with flying Cs.  Didn’t have much of a social life.  Kind of a loner.  Watched a lot of TV.  Never really got into reading books, mostly cuz my stepdad who was a REAL redneck burned em all one time when I pissed him off.  To get back at him, I never read another book again.  I got real into cars for awhile.  Still love Jeeps and big fuckin trucks.  Then I started smokin weed.  Aw, fuck man, that shit changed everything.  Suddenly my life was awesome.  Alls I needed to worry about was running out, and it seemed like that was impossible - weed was everywhere.  It was the piece I was missin the thing I needed to be totally chill.  And once I found it it was like awesome.  I was a stoner.  Still am, actually.  This aint a story about how I changed or nothin.  

But I’m not a dumbass.  I mighta hated school n shit but like I learn shit fast.  And the 1st thing I learned was that I don't like being kept inside.  I fuckin love being outside.  I love being in the sun and I love being in the rain.  Aint nothin like a good thunderstorm.  Cold don't even bother me too much, unless its like fuckin below zero, then that shit gets old real fast.  So when I had my options to be like, a guy with a job n shit, I was workin for a supermarket and I was divvied up between doing the shit on register and pushing carts n the parking lot.  Obviously you can figure out which one I liked more, so I was happy doing that for awhile.  But then the manger found out that I was getting high on the job - I mean come on, romeing around in the parking lot, blissed out on some mad trip sativa bro, you can't fuckin falt me for that, rite?  I guess sum fuckin soccer mom in her minivan narced on me.  Didn't want her little boy learnin bad shit.  Well sweetie, its a fucked up world and your only doin your kid a bad one by hiding him from it.  You playing a losing game, darlin.  Besides, whats so bad about weed?

So yea, lost that job.  I kinda bummed around my moms for awhile, got unemployment, but got all kindsa antsy n shit.  It was around then I took up smoking butts, probably cuz I was bored, probably cuz I had nothin else to do but smoke butts on the porch n drink Coors Lite.  Man those were sum great days, Ill tell ya, but they didn't last cuz my mom got pissed (whys everybody always getting so fuckin pissed for?) an kicked me out.  Didn't really have nowhere else to go, so I kinda slept around outside in the back of my F-150 for awhile.  Fuckin love that truck, its a ‘92, with the single cab.  I figured I could bum around for awhile.  Sleep in the truck.  It was summertime after all and I had a lil bit of cash.  So I did that, drove around in the woods in places.  Ran into this guy who lived down the street from me when I was a kid, told me his roommate just up n left, and he needed somebody to move in.

So I drove the truck down further south then I ever been, and I moved all my shit (mostly just clothes n crap, all in trash bags) into Erik’s trailer.  We hit it right off - he was a bro, real chill, 420 friendly.  His fridge was stocked with Coors Lite and he had a ready supply of Jager.  He told me he worked on this site with this group of dudes and he'd just gone from job to job and site to site with em, all getting payed under the table.  We stayed up late drinkin and smokin and laughin like fuckin teenagers until the fire was ash and our packs were empty.  Somewhere around past 3 in the mornin, Erik told me he could probably get me a job on the site, too, if I wanted.  It was good money - he had enuf to buy his own trailer and a truck, too!

I aint never worked construction before.  And like I said, I aint a dumbass.  I know what kinda work that is - hard fuckin work, sometimes bone-breaking work.  But it was sumthin about the way Erik said it, or maybe cuz I was so fuckin hammered and wasted, that I agreed to go with him on Monday.  He talked about it for awhile, but I was drifting in and out, didnt really hear what he said.  I was floating on all kindsa colors of clouds, and the stars above were all winking at me, like they knew somethin I didn't.  

I’m not gonna say either that I’m like Mr Muscles or whatever.  I was never skinny, but closer to wiry.  Weird looking, if you ask me, but whatever.  I don't waste my time on mirrors n shit.  Just throw on whatever and hit the door.  But I gotta say, after some paperwork and a handshake or two, I was kind of enjoying the way it felt.  All day, I was in a sort of haze, lifting some shit here and carrying some shit there.  I wasn't any skilled laborer or nothin.  I didn't know how to do jack shit.  But Im a quick learner.  And I had Erik with me as like a sorta guide for the day, to like show me whats gotta be done.  I saw him talkin with the foreman, the only guy here wearin a shirt n tie, and the foreman was listenin real hard, so Erik’s gotta be some kinda bigshot around here.  Before I knew it, the end of the day showed up and I was wipin my brow making faces cuz I had dust in my teeth.

And everybody on the site was cool, and I liked bein outside.  I could get high if I wanted to before I went to work, which was fuckin cool as fuck.... I could smoke butts all day, and everything was mad chill.  So thats how I became a construction guy.  Don't feel like much of a story, but somebody gotta do it, right?  Turns out that somebody is me.  And maybe I am a little slow on the uptake, turns out.  Some of the guys on the site call me dumbass, but I don't mind.  Its just kinda like a joke, because I do dumb things sometimes.  And I don't talk so good, I get words mixed up.  But doesn't mean I’m a dumbass.  I know Im good at what Im good at - or something.  I aint that good at communicating, they said in HS, an I guess thats true.  But fuck it, cuz I got some fuckin dank weed to smoke with Erik tonite and we gonna get fucked up on Jager n listen to this new album he got of this like metal band.  The last album they did we listened to was all like weird whispery shit n like backward talking, it was cool but weird.  Man I smoked so many butts that nite.  Don't remember much of it, but thats what happens when I hit the Jager, haha.  Just make sure I got a Monster for the morning after, gonna need at least two!!

So yea maybe this is like a story about how I got happy, or whatever, haha.  Turns out school aint for everyone and you don't need to be inside all ur fuckin life an u can do what u want and think how u want.  There’s this big election comin up too, an like, usually I don't get into that shit, but I was talking to Erik an he was like yea man, u should vote the way u feel, u know.  Nothin gets done unless u take action, and that was like, so fuckin deep n shit.  But who would I vote for?  Erik shrugged and said that he thought I should vote how I felt, the one I liked the most.  So I did.  And he won!  How cool is that.  Erik even got me a red hat with his name on it to celebrate.  Sometimes I listen to him speakin and I agree with what he says and does.  Erik says he voted for him, too, and sometimes he talks about politics n shit, and I kinda have to tune it out.  He just keeps talking an talking and I kinda blank out for awhile.  But then I need anuther beer, and so I kinda like, come out of it.  

Man, Erik will say, laughing.  Politics really puts u to sleep, huh.  

Yea, I say.  Crack another Monster, I need a lil pick me up, haha

And UFC is on tonite, can't wait to see who ends up in the Octagon this time.  Got a cool UFC shirt coming in the mail.  It’s funny, I actually had this dream that a guy was wearing that, and I thought it was cool, so I bought it.  Sometimes I have these dreams about all these photographs of these dudes who kinda look like me but like not like me at the same time.  We wearing the same clothes, anyway.  Erik’s helped with that, too.  He knows that I usually just grab whatever, but when I have to decide, I get all stalled out.  He’s helping me by just picking em out for me, and thats awesome, Im thankfull for that.

oh GOD !!! maybe its only my imagination but i there is something that is bother me so much about the trailers and gifts , i just cant shake it off 

A long time ago I read a theory of what might happend on this season and the books about how Jon would become a white walker .... a Night King and that scary tha shit of me, I remembered thinking HELL NO , but the news, and talks with the cast, kind of started to shake my head around it so ... why am i thinking something BAD its going to happen to jon? maybe because we love a character so much and then the wondergul George kill him, maybe because its Jon , sweet, selfess Jon . However i cant let it go, so i have to share this so people, PLEASE someone , anyone  who see this can tell me that I AM CRAZY o its probably something else. 

HERE !! we see Jon killing someone, i thought its a white walker but something bothers me  HE HAVE A SWORD , now i always have an awful memory but the dead dont go with a sword on hand , specially not one with that kind of shape , i could be wrong of course but it give me chills because its the only one who try to kill jon

-cascu it was a process. i didnt find much by the way of fsncu before then, like id seen the first ep of carnival phantasm but i didnt really know any of the characters so wasnt too interested. but when playing fgo i got attached to this boyo. and the chapter you fight him i was terrified bc knowing my taste i was sure he was gonna betray the main party and i knew i wouldnt hate him for it but i didnt want to have to fight against him w best kouhai and tsun director and funny hologram doc. good thing he didnt. then i had a dream where i went on a beach date w cascu and he was really kind to me and i was like hoooooboy. on that note fsncu was similar. i then watched cp again and with the knowledge that i love this man seeing him die every ep was.... well it was somethin blushes. and then the fanart hooo boy the pixiv fanart. i actually own one of those now and am i happy. fsncu is a good boy

Athenas Masterpost

This is going to cover everything Athenas, like the official page and trailer, both new trailers, the art book preview, and some stuff shown in the ign trailers. It’s a lot.

There will NOT be endgame spoilers in this post. If there’s anything that comes up that I want to discuss, you can find it in a spoiler post I’ll be making soon :) I DO discuss a thing that occurs during the first 3 hours of BL3, though I think that’s pretty okay with y’all lol

tl;dr: there’s too much to summarize. 13 days until bl3. lmao im screaming on the inside.

We definitely got a lot less info for Athenas than the other planets, and I can see why. They want to keep it mysterious.

Also, I’m not saying I totally called it that the pyramid was Eridian, but I totally called it. I am surprised it’s implying that the entire area was built by them, but what can ya do 🤷‍♂️

Anyway, since this post is long overdue, let’s just jump right in!

The Athenas video is nearly half the time of the Eden-6 one, so there’s not a lot to cover unfortunately:

i love these dudes! Order of the Impending Storm!!! I wonder if their funky goggle things have anything to do with Sirens, like how they have Siren-trackers. I also really love their outfits. lowkey want one of these robes.

alright so now that we know what the vault keys look like.... this doesn’t appear to be part of any of the Vault Keys we’ve seen. especially not the Promethean one. not even the pyramid shaped one.

im mostly interested in this because this is obviously a monk, her robes match the ones we saw above with the hood. she doesn’t appear to be Eridian because we’ve seen the Watcher and the other Guardians, who are built in the image of the Eridians, and she looks wayyy too human. We’ve also seen statues of the Eridians in that one shot of the Pandora temple.

so it seems like the monks have gone inside the pyramid before and... built this statue? for some reason??? It’s interesting that she has an extra pair of arms as well. I wonder if she is like the Siren ancestor of Amara. which could prove my theory that the next successor of Amara would have another set of arms... it might also explain why Amara’s tattoos are everywhere on the buildings (outside of her being the Tiger)

it would also explain this shot, the skeleton with the book, which we now know we’ve seen before with Maya:

so even though they’re protecting the pyramid/temple, i don’t think they’ve been avoiding it entirely- at least not for the first time after discovering it. maybe they stopped going in after they discovered something bad, somethin like iunno... the Rampagers?

it would be Really Weird if the Eridians built that statue, especially when they probably didn’t know what humans looked like at the time. unless of course they helped shape humanity or smth. meaning they probably personally created Sirens. oh that’d be wild... i wonder if we’re going to learn about how early Sirens shaped humanity in that case. discovering fire could be entirely different lol

“hallowed land” 

i wonder if this is where we’ll have anointed gear explained to us... i imagine the order is still worshipping Eridian/Siren stuff, so them having all sorta knowledge of this stuff would make sense

more Maliwan. you guys notice we see cultists purely on Eden-6 (outside of the crashed ship), but Maliwan purely on Athenas? a mix on Promethea, tho that’s bc we’ve actually gotten gameplay. 

So my guess is Maliwan has joined up with the cult (be it through whatever means: Maliwan is in) and they’re looking for the Promethea key. which makes sense. they’re attacking Rhys on Promethea, so when he helps us out, word probably gets back to Maliwan (somehow) and they swap from wanting to take over Atlas (either by defeating them w/ Zer0/that giant space laser/whatever or just changing priorities) to wanting to open that fuckin Vault. Teaming up with the CoV is the best way to ensure that happens. I’m sure there will oodles of betrayal going on between the two parties.

(mechanically, probably higher-level enemies) they look super high tech, so i would not be surprised if Maliwan thought Atlas would be an easy takeover so they didn’t send everything they could have

“Protect Athenas Before It’s Too Late”

I imagine before Maliwan gets the Vault Key or some other wild power, like power over the Rampagers. seriously, in the We Are Mayhem trailer, there’s a rampager are fighting on the side of Maliwan (altho if this is The One Rampager, or just One of Many is hard to tell. it could morph depending on which element it is. we just don’t know. personally i think there’s 1 per planet... i’ll explain later)

From the Art Book Preview:

Alright yes. “Maliwan forces have already seized control of the monastery, where part of the Promethean Vault Key has been located, turning a simply recovery mission into a vicious firefight...... A large and foreboding crypt built into the side of the mountain was also designed, and might perhaps have housed the Vault Key fragment deep within its gloomy interiors”

i don’t think this means the crypt is like an actual area. it would be interesting to discover that the pyramid is a giant crypt because... jesus. it would fit with the whole pyramid theme, at least. altho im wondering if this is more like a labyrinth situation where they’re trying to keep a Rampager inside as well as the treasure... which MAY be a Vault Key Fragment

Actually, this brings up a great point: did Atlas spread the Vault Key out throughout the planets? Is this where Typhon originally found that Key fragment? wtf was in the Vault that Atlas needed to disassemble the Key and return its fragments? oh boy i hope it’s something scary

From the Moze Eden-6 E3 Gameplay:

oh ye this. okay so this is definitely 100% Eridian. I’m guessing we get this from Athenas because this seems like a fairly important object and, well, Athenas is all about Eridian stuff. When we go through the next few videos, keep an eye out for the temples. You’ll see the glowing red diamond shape constantly reappearing there.

one of the devs admitted that there are hunks of Eridian Writing left around the world that will ‘open up’ things for the players, so I imagine this is exactly what we’ll use to get to it. If this IS only for endgame stuff I’ll be slightly disappointed. I know we have access to this before Eden-6, since there are gameplay videos that show the player breaking the Eridium chunks with this thing. the above one is from the Moze Eden-6 gameplay, tho I’ve also seen newer footage from the Balex gameplay with this same tool

idk i feel its kinda sad gearbox is showing off a VAULT MONSTER of all things in so much promo material. like why is he fighting with Maliwan/the cult in the We are Mayhem trailer??

does he have multiple stages?? is that’s why he changes elements? goes from two heads to wings to extended necks. like wtf is up with this guy?? he definitely looks like he can be elementally charged given his eye sockets aren’t glowing when he emerges like they do

this dude is a corrosive one who also seems to be working with Maya (who i guess IS probably the corrosive aligned siren)

and we’re guessing the nuclear charged one is the one from Athenas... for reasons i’ll explain below

AND honestly i've been thinking and maybe the fire one is actually from Promethea? and maybe there’s another that’s on Eden-6 and another on Pandora?

alright so i have 2 reasons for this. one involves spoiler talk with the cloth map, so that won’t be discussed here (but if you see the map and the planets, you’ll understand what i’m alluding to here, most likely). the other is that in this screenshot of all the quests from the Eden-6 demo:

we see immediately after “hostile takeover” is the quest “the impending storm”. which is, indeedy, a reference to the Order of the Impending Storm. We know they’re on Athenas, so I imagine we run over to Athenas to get part of the Vault Key. We’ve established from the art book that’s where it is.

but then after The Impending Storm, Space-Laser Tag (which we all know is that giant-ass laser thing in the asteroid belt), and Atlas, at Last, there’s a quest called Beneath the Meridian.

And we know this area... is definitely underground. we’ve seen with the fire-y boy that the ceiling is just rocks

then we see this shot with the nuclear (?) one where the window outside is clearly showing off mountains/sky, which we know is kinda Athenas’s deal

and we know these two areas are the same v ^

since there’s the same ‘Vault’ in the background

so my only problem with this entire theory that there’s multiple rampagers is that

we see the twins killing/absorbing the red/fire one’s power which is also on athenas since the background is the same as the vault area from the above two pictures. unless there’s a similar vault-thing on promethea and eden-6. we know there’s one on Pandora, but that one is outside so.

so i guess they are the same beasty boy but... why why why show us one of the vault monsters

it’s so cool going in blind and not knowing what you’re going to get out of it.

so im going to say this is a minor vault monster (especially given it’s not exactly the same rock-like design as the other vault monsters) and the ‘vaults’ are actually something smaller. maybe they hold keys, or the pieces of the keys, or they’re part of that teleportation network i keep talking about (and i guess i should just make a seperate post about it) but i don’t know if these are actual Big Boy Vaults. especially when the Rampager doesn’t match actual Eridian-created Vault Monsters

that said given we see a bunch of dead guardians on the floor, its possible the rampager killed them? but i get the feeling we might actually be the ones to pull the trigger cause... combat is fun

so. yeah. if the rampager is guarding something that’s fine. i wanna believe teleportation network. i’d love to see the twins come in, walk out of that vault, absorb the rampager’s powers, and then walk out after locking us in like ‘peace’ and we have to use the teleportation system to make it back to promethea with the vault key fragment or whatever

this also appears to be in the temple, but, like, again if there’s more than one temple this could also be on Pandora or even Eden-6. Kinda leaning towards Pandora. HOWEVER since we only know for certain this sort of temple area is on Athenas (from that one statue shot), we’re gonna analyze this bad boy right now (also lowkey think this is Pandora because of the varkid nests but shhh)

what do i actually have to say about it? uhhh not much tbh. i think i’ve said all that needs to be said concerning the twins mutating cultists with slag/eridium. 

i will say im pretty shocked at, like, the eridium HORNS and shit. so maybe this is just some cool little miniboss. (okay not mini because look how big he’s gotten!! just like Bloodwing :D)

you know what, it looks like he’s standing on one of these

floor tile things, and now im super curious. is the fire part of a trap? is it powering this lad up? i definitely know he’s a cultist because he’s got the neon light tubes on his shoulder pad

also this is pretty similar to what we’ve seen in the LLE (especially the powersuits) given their bodies also form eridium crystals when they’ve ascended

this maliwan jackass. the building to his left is 100% athenas architecture.

the rocks in the top picture look identical to the ones next to him. plus we’ve seen water in the distance of some of the areas of Athenas

it could also be Eden-6 (which honestly i would not be surprised if it is instead) but given the ivy and the rocks i felt it was worthwhile to put in. plus the moving eridian structures are so cool looking. i feel like that’s going to be a puzzle.

oh oh also

maybe that area leads into/exits from here? because they’re both underground in cavern-like areas

but like... it could also be eden-6... because of that one shot of the temple area in the side of the cliff ASDFHDGJFJGFHSD

also seriously this ‘Vault’ is wayyyy smaller than a regular Vault. like... the one in BL2 that you can walk right up to... huge. and nothing even comes out of it. the Warrior climbs up from over the edge
