✨🌹For those of you who don’t know what Pressure is, it’s a roblox horror game, Sebastian Solace is a character within the game. If you haven’t played it yet, I suggest you do so. It’s quite the horror thrill.🌹✨

You were married for four years with your husband Sebastian, though he seemed like the type of man who wouldn’t care for anyone, he ended up married to you. He was loyal, sweet, and always knew the exact things to say to make you blush… you wouldn’t image he would do anything troublesome…..

However… one day he was accused of murdering 9 people. You didn’t believe it was true, you never wanted it to be true! Sebastian even claims it wasn’t true and yet he was locked up till his trial in 2013.

You on the day before his trial, went to go visit him. The guard’s warning you he was dangerous and to stay away from the bars… however you knew he was innocent. When you came upon his cell he immediately got up and held onto the bars, he looked desperate to prove he was innocent as if you didn’t believe him anymore.

“{Name}, please… I never killed those people, you have to believe me. Im sorry that this is happening I never.-”

You didn’t care about the rules at this point and ended up creasing his cheek through the iron bars.

“Sebastian, I never doubted you for one second…”

His hand then held yours, still on his face, it’s been so long since he last felt your gentle hand touch his skin. Little did you both know this would be the last time you two would ever talk or touch. For within his trial, he ended up guilty, he was sentenced to death.

You were heartbroken… you wanted them to reconsider, tried requesting for another trial… but it was too late… you gained the news your dear husband died a “guilty” man… the sorrow, the anger you felt went on for days… you still wore the wedding ring, a reminder of his love for you.

Near the end of 2013 it was declared he was innocent, for the killer was someone else. You were enraged, they practically killed an innocent man. You’re husband! But you weren’t expecting them to pin it on you.

In your trial you were accused of killing people, and pid it on Sebastian, you tried desperately to prove you were innocent…. It never worked… who ever was the murder.. definitely had a twisted way in proving innocent people were guilty… you were sentenced to death. The day of your death, however… you were actually knocked out and brought to a different facility. UrbanShade, you’re death was faked and you were experimented on. You weren’t human anymore… you felt hopeless, even the ring, the reminder of your husband was now broken due to your hands new size. You were devastated, you were locked up like an animal, you were framed for 9 murders you didn’t commit just like Sebastian, and now you’re last memory of him is now gone…

You didn’t speak, you were moving around like a robot, you just did as told, and never caused trouble… you just wanted to sit and wait for your eventual demise…

You lay there in your cell, quiet, unresponsive.

Till you heard the alarm go off, you’re cell was open. What’s going on? You see monsters killing people.. so much blood, so much panic. You sat there scared out of you’re mind, you didn’t move, you covers you’re ears as to not hear the screams…

Later, you realize that everything was quiet. You got up, looking around, you’re cell door practically broken from the chaos long ago. You saw blood almost everywhere while looking around the facility. The smell of fresh blood invaded your nose. You wondered around till you saw a monster with a long tail, three arms. You were a bit frightened and tried to back away, however phantom legs got you and you fell back, causing the fello monster to look over at you.

“Ah! Please don’t hurt me! I’m a fellow monster! See! Like you!”

You laughed nervously, as you looked at the Monster with three blue eyes.

The monster dropped what he had in his hands, causing it to scatter. We’re those files? His eyes were wide.

“{Name}…?”

That voice… it sounded familiar, there was no way… he was dead….

“How do you know who I am? Who are you?”

The monster only rushed at you, you were prepared for and attack but… you only felt three arms around you. You were confused, did you feel tears?

“I’ve missed you so much, you have no idea how long I’ve wanted to come home to see you again…”

His voice rang familiarly all throughout you’re mind.

“Sebastian…?”

He let go of you and smiled, his eyes practically filled with tears… You ended up with tear filled eyes as well, this was your husband? He wasn’t dead! He was alive and you never knew.

Sebastian looked at you, top to bottom. His expression soon turned from pure happiness to pure hatred…

“They did this to you… THOSE FUCKERS DID THIS TO YOU!”

His light you didn’t notice till now flickers out of anger, he didn’t like the fact UrbanShade also did this to his own wife… you backed away a bit, you never seen such hatred from him before… you went to say something, till he took your hands in his. (Or at least what he could hold.)

“I’m sorry for that… don’t worry, I’ll figure out a way for us to get out of here.”

“How are you going to to do that?”

“You’ll see my dear… I’ll make sure of it.”

After so many years of not seeing him, you and he were reunited, soon the lockdown lasted for months and Sebastian start gathering files. You soon figured out he was going to try and blackmail UrbanShade into letting the two of you go. You weren’t sure it would work, but regardless you gone with it. All you cared about was your husband being alive and um mostly well..

Soon prisoners from UrbanShade started coming by, Sebastian had an idea of selling resources for data, which wasn’t too bad of an idea, when you heard about some sort of crystal the prisoners were after… it got you thinking… what if you two…. Had the crystal….?

donghyun was almost dozing off. he couldn’t help it. it was so pleasant and warm in the crook of your neck, the duvet pulled over you two bringing fuzzy comfort. the sounds of his friends playing video games in the living room were like background noise. on top of that, the cozy music from your nintendo was practically lulling him to sleep too. or when you would run your fingers through his soft locks from time to time.

his ebony irises were glued to the small screen, observing your animal crossing character running around. 

when he was more awake, you purposefully went fishing so he could show off his knowledge. each one you caught, he shared fun facts. who needed blathers - an owl in the game that knows everything about fish, bugs and art - when you had donghyun? you would later then go to the museum, of which blather was the director, and fact check leehan. your boyfriend would snicker at the owl on your screen, praising its knowledge.

you could feel him drifting away. his breath got softer, his occasional love bites coming to a halt. you swore you could even hear his small snores. 

your character changed into a wet suit and you dived into the sea in the search of some goodies. you got so focused on your task, looking for the deep sea creatures (and chasing them if they happened to be mischievous).

suddenly, your character swam up and showed off a pearl. 

“did you know pearls are the only gemstones that come from a living creature?” donghyun’s gentle voice startled you a bit. you just let out a hum, encouraging him to keep talking. “everything else comes from the earth, let’s say”

“that’s interesting” you nodded “i’m keeping pearls. they sell well but i want to create a mermaid set”

“i bet it’s cute. oh gosh, did you know there’s a fish called pearlfish? the way it got its name is really funny. one little fella was found inside an oyster. well, it was dead but embedded within the mother-of-pearl. so like, the substances that create the pearl. i read somewhere that it probably took five years for the oyster to fully cover the silly fish” donghyun was now fully awake, fingers coming up to excitedly tap on your hand. “but pearlfish usually live inside clams, sea cucumbers, and stuff. so one could call it an accident at work”

he suddenly started laughing, air tickling your neck. you just smiled, wondering what got him so giggly.

“they live in sea cucumbers’ butts. they sniff them out first and then they wait for the anu-”

“oh ew” you started laughing too. your switch fell out of your hands, getting lost somewhere in the comforter. 

donghyun was a bit shocked when you turned to wrap your arms around his neck, now hiding your face in his chest. your body was shaking with your laughter, triggering his own too.

“would you still love me if i was a pearlfish living in a sea cucumbers’ anus?” leehan asked, which resulted in your laughs growing even louder. 

“i love you, goofball” you managed to snicker. his smile got wider, pulling you even closer. he treasured those words, his heart overtaken by warmth. 

“hey, you didn’t answer my question!” he whined and you just chuckled. well, he had one option to get it out of you: tickles. 

soon enough only giggles and laughters were heard from the room, even making his friends hear.

in which a certain someone from ignihyde made a game called twisted wonderland with them in it, and you ended up ignoring the real them over their game self. how would they react?

being in the same club as idia, it's no wonder that azul is one of the many people who is promoting and playing the game. he was the first one that introduced it to you, too. though he kinda regrets that decision now. it's only been three days, and you already got to book two of the game.

and you haven't paid attention to him at all.

well, no worries. he's happy that you're playing a game that he made, even though idia did most of the job and he only managed the microtransaction. but he still contributed to it, right?. "oh? it seems like you're still playing that game i introduced you to. but of course, the game is of such good quality. i was dejected when idia refused the idea of monetization, though ..."

"im glad he does! otherwise, i wouldn't be able to play this, y'know." you frowned, clicking away at the rhythm game. he chuckled before he sat beside you on the couch. "hmm, you're already nearing leona's overblot fight. you're very quick when you focus on something." he compliments you, leaning over your shoulder to see your screen.

"ah, hey! you're covering the screen! i can't see azul's animation like this!" you stood up from the couch with a huff while walking over to the stair so you can play peacefully somewhere else. azul looked at you with widened eyes, wondering why you were so upset for not being able to see his animation when you can literally see the real thing.

he's more annoyed that his minions are snickering behind him, though.

for the next few days, azul can't help but secretly hover over your shoulder to see what you're doing. and every time, it's always his game self on the screen.

he's flustered that you like him so much to the point you put him on your home screen in the game, but still! why not put him as the home screen on your phone?! ... oh, you already did.

anyways, expect to see the octatrio hang around you even more often than usual. even grim is too scared to eat on the same table as you. they usually ask you about the progress of the game. but it seems to you that only azul ever asks specific questions while jade and floyd are grinning ear to ear.

those specific questions are, "what do you do when you run out of azul cards to play with, i wonder?"

even after doing all that hovering and questioning, you still don't stop playing the game and squealing at his game self. azul has considered making a deal(threatening and persuading) idia to immediately take down the game, but then it'd mean he loses the extra profit from it. sigh ...

so he decided to ask for advice from the very high guarded but intelligent jamil. when he first approached him and kalim, jamil was immediately on guard mode and already thinking of ways to refuse his scam and escape. but kalim held him back.

"jamil, hypothetically speaking, what would you do if kalim ever asked your virtual self for help instead of the real you? would you be upset and kill the virtual robot, or would you talk it out with kalim? hypothetically, of course."

he, unfortunately and obviously, did not get any answer from jamil. but kalim did answer for him, though. "if it were me, i'd talk it out with myself! it's not good to hide your feelings, you know?"

huh. it is a very great advice. so, azul finally made up his mind and went back to octavinelle to write a whole script of what he is going to say the next time he meets you. yet, when he arrives, you were already there waiting for him.

you explained that the twins had told you about it all earlier and that they were also urging you to go and talk to him about it.

jade said, "it is amusing to see him spiral into a fit of despair the moment you abandoned him for him in the game. but it is also starting to feel creepy."

floyd said, "im bored walkin' around and spying on ya! i wanna do my own thing! do somethin' about it!"

azul feels like he wants to go ahead and crawl into his octopus pot right now. but no matter, at the very least, he gets to talk to you and spend time with you. his game self can go ahead and rot in hell.

I made a DOL NPC character—Meet Carmilla the Butcher, an odd, asocial butcher who has a hard time placing any feeling other than "Okay" or "Alright"! I was gonna make their ref more fancy, but I ran out of steam, so! Information about them under the read more vvv

Carmilla! They're a love interest with the special stat, Caution, which starts at 100%.

Carmilla's butcher shop is where you first encounter them, and a place where you can buy or learn more recipes, get ingredients for cooking, and sell any lurkers you've caught.

Let's talk about that caution stat. As mentioned before, they start with high caution and don't leave the shop or talk much, but the lower the caution, the more opportunities you have to raise love. But watch out!

High love but low caution means they'll go more places, including occasionally going back to school (1 in 4 chance at 50% or lower caution) because they're near the same age as the PC! It will also unlock the option to complain to them about the town, lowering stress and trauma. Do this multiple times, and they'll start giving you free meat from an 'unknown animal'. Asking about it lowers love and you get the answer, "Don't worry about it." Note that 'complain' will not provide you meat if you've not been molested or raped by unnamed NPCs, but will keep lowering stress and trauma regardless.

Carmilla can occasionally be found in the woods or along the road at night in their pajamas. Finding them in this state will lower both caution and love, but increase lust and stress.

High love, lust, and mid or low caution will unlock a new location—The Secret Abattoir. This is where you can confirm your involvement with them as a love interest at 60 or greater love and lust, and 60 or lower caution; and it is implied that Carmilla lives here. This place is considered a safehouse regardless of the player's standing with Carmilla or if they're even still in the game.

If you pass out around Carmilla, they will either take you to the infirmary (school) and explain to your teachers the situation, take you to the hospital (outside), or use smelling salts on you (abattoir).

Unlike other LIs, there is no penalty for being affectionate with others in front of them. They'll just giggle and call you cute (meek)/popular (normal)/hot (defiant) enough for others to notice, too. The first time this happens, you can then ask if they're okay with that, to which they'll respond affirmatively and comment based on the LI, as follows:

"If that one gets too rough on you, though," Carmilla points to Whitney as (he/she) speaks, "Tell ('im/her) you know Carmilla. That should make (him/her) think twice before messing with you."

"Oh! Eden!" Carmilla exclaims excitedly. "A wonderful business partner. (He/She) rarely comes into town, but always brings meats for me to sell. Give (him/her) my regards, would you? Without (him/her), I wouldn't be where I am now."

"That one's cute," Carmilla smiles as you two talk about Kylar. "What's (he/she) like? I haven't been able to chat with (him/her) much. Always shying away from me, even when (he/she) just ignores others. I think it's on purpose… A shame."

"Oh!" Carmilla exclaims. "Before I took my extended break from school, I rented out a book… Ohhh, Sydney's going to be so mad… Well, 's my own fault. Can't get mad at (him/her) doing (his/her) job, yeah? Could you put in a good word?"

"Not gonna be mad at you hanging out with Avery," Carmilla glances back and forth. "But wouldya tell (him/her) to bugger off?" Carmilla pauses as you look at (him/her) expectantly, waiting for clarification. "…Uh, I'm… Allergic to (his cologne/her perfume). Yeah."

"Robin's your childhood pal, right?" Carmilla asks. "I think you two look absolutely adorable together. If it comes down to (him/her) or me though… Choose (him/her), would you? I dunno, (she/he) just seems like the type of person who'd be too heartbroken."

"Alex is a sweetie. Sometimes I help (him/her) out with the livestock." Carmilla smiles. "You should be just fine with (him/her), (he/she)'s like a puppy."

"A wolf… I see." Carmilla snickers softly. "I see you have a type. If you ever want, I can getcha some meat to feed the pack."

"Great Hawk… Doesn't ring a bell." Carmilla tilts (his/her) head, but seems keenly interested. "But… Chicken is a classic, I suppose."

Carmilla rarely, if ever, initiates non-consensual encounters, but if they do, a higher pain and stress stat often increases their arousal heavily. They get annoyed at submissive or meek actions, and will actively try to provoke the player. Consensual encounters also focus on pain, but in this case, submission is the best route. Afterwards, they will insist on bandaging your wounds, increasing both love and caution and reducing pain to 0. After a consensual encounter, Carmilla has a 50% chance to ask embarrassedly to lick your wounds, to which you can accept (+love +lust -caution) or deny (+caution). After a non-consensual encounter, they will always do this, increasing pain and lust.

Low love, high lust, and 0 caution will trigger their dismissal event. They will try to call you to their home and ask you a series of questions a la the promise rite with Sydney—Failing even one question means they'll approach you with a cleaver. At that moment, Bailey enters with bodyguards a la the hookah parlor. Carmilla is seized and Bailey hoists you to your feet and threatens that not everyone is so benevolent as them. They take you home, and Carmilla goes 'missing'. You can break into the now empty butcher shop once a day with an easy skulduggery check for meat, because Carmilla still had advance shipments of meat and electricity. You will no longer be able to sell your lurkers to them, though.

However! if you either refuse to visit or get the questions right, Carmilla will back off and apologize—The former with an "I'm not thinking straight, sorry." which will buy you another week to raise love and caution again and can be repeated indefinitely; and the latter with "I can't do this anymore… I'm sorry." as they collapse into your arms and hug you, greatly increasing love and caution.

thought i was gonna keep this spoiler free but then i couldn't keep my big mouth shut smh spoilers through ep 16

alright so first off i love the prologue and anyone who disagrees can fight me lol i love the symbolism, the metaphors, and like i said in my kyklos theory post, i think it sets it up right off the bat for some sort of time loop or repetitive cycle. it talks about doing things over again, changing things, fate, and takes place on a train. forms of transport are often seen to represent transient states and changing (from the odyssey all the way up to chronicles of narnia and the train station--transport always is a metaphor for things changing.)

i've spoken a few times about the texts from mina and still, sixteen episodes later, it fascinates me that this is the most intelligent anomaly we've seen. there are the other creatures and things that come close but the kyklos is so fascinating to me. it's such a human way of hunting and honestly i think that's one of the most compelling pieces of evidence about some sort of loop happening, even if it's not a direct time loop. or, this kyklos was the victim of the one eyed sleeping beauty murder and escaped. that'd be crazy.

also love taiga's intro. he's such an insane character for us to have met first. if this was trying less hard to be an otome without being an otome or if it was an anime or a book, i'd have no doubt in my mind he'd be one of the endgame romance options. (as it stands i made a list of which ones i think are true romance options but this game is insane so who knows. for now i think jin and taiga are the main endgame options based on plot relevance and the dichotomy they present, and then haku's on that list as well for the whole betrayal arc. but we'll see, i have no idea what the writers are doing.)

was it ever really addressed how the kyklos made the environment change? haku's ability with the flute brought us back, but the kyklos (i'm assuming) is the reason it changed in the first place

inchresting. didn't notice that before. i'll keep my eyes out for an explanation on how the kyklos has transportation abilities as well.

hyde saying "looks like a normal girl to me" is actually kind of telling in hindsight. do we know for sure that none of the professors are ghouls? between what gets revealed in ep 16 about seeing into the exam room and this, i'm wondering if either A) he has an artifact that allows him to see things or B) he's like his brother and he's also a ghoul and that's part of his stigma.

speaking of hyde, him saying "i'm gonna have to pretend i didn't hear [about taiga attacking you]" is still one of the funniest things in the game to me

this was the big point where i was first like "oh the staff are the antagonists alright cool". because like be so fr they're risking their lives asshole you're literally 12. and then it just continued with their behavior from there that they really don't think if these guys as people. ughhhh i don't trust these bitches. the way that "human is a hotly debated topic" is so wild to me as well. not to pull a PETA but im here for ghoul and anomaly rights!!

this chapter also just kinda reaffirms how i felt after the most recent mortkranken chapter--i really do think professor nicolas is on our side. he might be under the institute's control and is a part of the faculty but i think if push comes to shove he'll try to help us in what ways he can.

also interesting that if they're still working on clash cleanup, it must have happened like RIGHT at the end of last year to still be handling it at the same time as the entrance ceremony

oh i totally forgot about this part. some mysterious person coming to hold our hand for the stigma test. they had "long, cool fingers" and "smelled like incense". we never really found out who that was, did we? my automatic guess is haku because of the incense, but i'm really not sure. hm.

(also sidenote, these bitches love their greek mythology. the tea hyde gives us "epione's flower"; epione was a greek goddess of healing and her name literally translates to soothe or soothing lmao)

Giorno would stare at you with his usual calm, composed look as you scream and power up, completely unfazed. “I see,” he’d say in his serene voice, nodding like it all makes perfect sense. After watching you struggle for a while, he’d gently place his hand on your shoulder and, in complete seriousness, whisper, “Perhaps… you need more sunlight. The energy of the sun enhances all living beings.” He’d leave you standing there, making you wonder if he’s genuinely trying to help or just messing with you in his weird, Giorno way.

Bruno Bucciarati

Bruno would walk in on you mid-scream, furrow his brow, and pause. “Are you… trying to ascend to another level of power?” he’d ask, a bit confused but respectful. After you explain that you’re trying to become a Super Saiyan, Bruno would respond with the utmost sincerity: “I admire your dedication. Let’s talk strategy.” He’d actually help you devise a plan, suggesting you train your mind and body further. “I’ll unzip you to another location, where no one will disturb your transformation.” Bruno’s all in, even if he has no clue what’s happening.

Leone Abbacchio

Abbacchio would give you the coldest stare possible. “What in the actual hell are you doing?” he’d say, arms crossed, already annoyed. As you explain, he’d roll his eyes dramatically. “Great. My partner’s an idiot.” But as you keep powering up, Abbacchio would mutter sarcastically, “Oh sure, scream louder, maybe then you’ll magically grow blond hair and start flying. That’s totally how it works.” Despite his grumpiness, he might secretly be watching out of the corner of his eye, half expecting something bizarre to happen (get it? jojos bizarre adventure? its only jojo logic).

Guido Mista

Mista would be all about this. “Yo, you’re going Super Saiyan? I’ve always wanted to try that!” He’d immediately start powering up alongside you, screaming at the top of his lungs with a huge grin. “C’mon, louder! We can do this together!” The Pistols would join in too, floating around you and shouting “GO! GO! GO!” at the top of their tiny voices. Eventually, both you and Mista would collapse on the floor, laughing hysterically, neither of you anywhere close to transforming but still having the time of your lives.

Narancia Ghirga

Narancia would be your biggest hype man. “YES! YOU GOT THIS! YOU’RE ALMOST THERE!” He’d absolutely believe you could become a Super Saiyan and would be jumping around excitedly. “Do the thing! Do the thing with the hands!” He’d start doing Kamehameha poses, thinking that might help you, completely immersed in the idea that this could work. After a while, when nothing happens, he’d be confused: “Wait, why isn’t it working? Shouldn’t you be glowing by now?” He’d start blaming himself, like, “Was I not cheering loud enough?!”

Pannacotta Fugo

Fugo would just stare at you, deadpan, like, “Are you seriously doing this right now?” He’d probably start lecturing you about how this isn’t how physics works and how it’s scientifically impossible to become a Super Saiyan. “This is not anime, this is real life!” he’d yell, facepalming. But when you keep going, he’d lose his patience and just scream, “FINE! Keep screaming until you pass out! I don’t care!” He’d storm off, but not before mumbling something about how he’d be there to catch you if you faint.

Trish Una

Trish would watch you for about five seconds before sighing and pulling out her phone. “Okay, I’ll record this for… scientific purposes,” she’d say, clearly mocking you but also finding it weirdly entertaining. As you scream, she’d say, “Wow, you’re really giving this your all, huh? Should I start calling you Goku now?” By the end of it, she’d post the video with a caption like, My partner is trying to go Super Saiyan… someone help. But she’d also make sure you didn’t actually hurt yourself and offer you water because she’s low-key concerned about you overheating.

talking about the art style for this show because I am lowkey (high key) obsessed with it and how unique and genius it is.

Warning: this is sort of a long-ish post. Everything here stated is purely subjective lol

S1’s style has a certain charm to it but personally doesn’t actually give me that wave of “nostalgia” (I started watching the show in 2023 summer) but it does have a certain aura to it. I personally love experimental styles and for the time this came out I still consider it to be very unique. Noting the experimental phase of it where things look less polished and the line weight isn’t as well executed as it is in the later seasons.

Using rigging for the time this series came out was certainly a bold choice with the realism and complex designs that this show used while also having a perfect balance with well done cartoony style. Archer is one of the most well known cartoons when you look into rigged animation! Floyd County’s process of using Illustrator and After effects together at the time was certainly bold as well. The team for this show was not as big as most people might think, as it states in the Art of Archer book that there were around 70 artists, illustrators, etc.. that worked on production. Compared to the average Hollywood animated movie, it’s surely a small crew. Using multiple levels for character movement, as the usual storyboarding that’s essential for any animated project (you cannot have a quality animated series without story boarding!), having to design an entire new model when the state of any character changes (scars, scrapes, torn clothes, etc..) which becomes a lot of extra strain, along with the actual design process in illustrator and using skeletal positioning as well. It’s truly impressive imo!

The backgrounds and settings throughout the show were also very cleverly executed. Using 3d modeling and royalty free assets to paint textures and the amount of detail was insane. Apparently Adam had a good eye for everything.

I really admire the effort that goes into all of the details in the show’s settings, along with the painted scenery. Which only improves over time. As you can see the quality difference between the earlier seasons and the latest.

S1 Malory’s office and S2 Tunt Manor

Vs

S6 Office and Tunt Manor. Notice the different in light fixtures and textures, the marble walls moving away from more of a tile texture, and the lighting in Malory’s office is much more smooth, the texture of the chairs, etc.. I love the improvement.

The more obvious and interesting part about all of this is the actual character design changing over time. I will always wonder what those first season 1 and 2 storyboards looked like. (If anyone ever finds any info on that please feel free to let me know! Ik there’s a few artists portfolios out there that are more easy to find and I’ve seen S12/11/etc..)

As with S1, it had a certain charm to it in which I love. The funny looking experimental angles, I wish we got to see more of, just for the silliness alone. Im glad they tried their best with dynamic poses. </3

I’d say there’s definitely even just a difference between the line weight in S1 vs S2, it’s slightly more smooth in S2 depending on the pose. Depending on the show you’re watching, I noticed line weight is sort of an underrated and mostly overlooked technique upon other people I’ve seen talk about art styles. It adds a lot of depth. Dynamic poses are not easy.

Not all line weight is used for dynamic posing though

I love this shot in particular. From what I remember and notice the most is that this is the first shot in the show where there’s much detail like the card reflection of the characters, they’re flipped like proper mirroring (obviously the modelling is not perfect for Ray, he still looks a little janky which isn’t a huge shock since we only saw him a handful of times in previous season) But the line weight for Malory’s thumb is something I appreciate very much and just thought this was a cool shot and shows a huge step up. The text boldness and format is also well done.

I guess the last elephant in the room surely is the actual style for the characters changing over time. There are about 3 different changes throughout the series, based on looks, clothing and movement. I wont get into specifics but it is always going to be entertaining to me how stiff and wonky certain shots looked. Not everything looked super goofy though.

First two seasons are where its flip flopped the most. Models were more stiff, tho on the brighter side the movements were still up to par with the action scenes. It’s still perfection. Some of the one-offs had funny designs (Krimenski, Uta, Mannfred, etc..)

Fast forwarding to S3 is when the improvements finally come in,

Noticeably mostly with Archer, Malory and Cyril (though he still has his old glasses. I much prefer his post S5 ones)

Lana and Ray still look a little off but certainly different in face shapes and Lana is much less- ��S” shaped lol. Pam has improved looks as well.

The side profiles have had an improvement as well up to this point. But it doesn’t change much going down the line. The side profiles are very rarely shown. Krieger’s head finally looks less stiff as well. Cheryl looks completely different, with her hair being much more consistently styled. Also, notice the clothing saturation specifically, it’s much more toned down. The colours tend to match better more than they did before in S1 nd 2.

Completely new character…. Hah.

Moving on past S3, since the character models stay pretty much the same, everyone at this point has their new looks leveled out, notably Ray and Lana

This style pretty much remains the same through out the next few couple seasons. The models and settings have a new flair, the lighting improved immensely, especially with Vice. I dont wanna drag this on for too long but the modeling stays the same until the coma seasons.

One of the biggest reasons I love the coma seasons is that it brings a lot more to the table for the show as I played around with 3 different completely new environments. It mostly likely brought a lot of new people to the production crew as it cover a lot of architectural different and themes (jungle islands, temples, spacecrafts, etc.. )

Going forward past the coma seasons straight to S11 is where the style gets a little harder to explain the huge differences. Backgrounds and shots look very polished and none of the characters look stiff in any way anymore.

We’ve also gained more soft lighting on the characters compared to mostly pre S6, dynamic lighting was improved immensely. In the Art of Archer book the majority of the animation process that is presented is mostly BTS for S6 and so on, though it does go into the works of Vice, its mostly with the musical production though they do delve a bit into the music video, which is a whole other level of its own. The environmental feel excels greatly with the lighting changes and also background ambience. Much of which was actually visible in the Danger Phone mobile game (RIP </3) I’ve always thought the sound design in this show was clever enough but it got significantly better over time.. Atmosphere makes a big difference. I’d love to add more specific examples but tumblr DOES have a limit on media that can be in one single post. But I can recommend going back and rewatching the show wearing headphones/earbuds and you will notice the difference.

Just a few extra things I wanted to point out is that as much as the animation has improved there are little quirks I do miss about the older seasons, for example the clothing colour changes. It really added more depth and realism to the show and I think despite it being subtle it was something that the majority of us fans enjoyed. But assuming they needed a different model for every colour worn, I could see why it was weeded out. Maybe it helped with the polish! That’s just personal bias.

The difference is subtle, but it’s there! The faces shapes and body proportions have been “improved” slightly. But I genuinely think thats due to setting changes and having higher quality animation tools. But lighting makes a huge difference.

I don’t have a lot of cons for the art style improvement besides really that “nostalgia” feeling a lot of ppl have for this show. I personally believe pre- S11 is when the artstyle was the best, of course with having a few sacrifices

Not sure how I feel about this one. He looks less like an ocelot in the right panel. The colours do look better but Babou’s eyes are eyes extremely different, not a fan of it. Some things just look better than before!

I would also like to take a moment to appreciate this gal’s glow up.. Not to drive too far from the point of this post but Im glad they kept Trinette relevant.

Not 3, but 4 different improvements. Even though she has 3 completely different hairstyles there’s still the difference in quality..

Anyhow, I’ve run out of gas for this post and I’ve pretty much covered mostly everything I wanted to go over. I definitely would like to cover more on this topic but unfortunately tumblr has different plans.

Anyways I love this show so much and everything a bit and probably has one of the most compelling art styles out there with a very passionate studio. I think Floyd County is unique on its own and even just outside the art style there’s a lot more to be said about this show’s greatness. AGOT reread prologue -> catelyn I

i said before that i wanted to "liveblog" my reread of agot that im doing while following a podcast, i guess this is that! I say "liveblog" because I'm annotating as I read and this is more a reflection on that and general thoughts, it would be too disruptive to actually write every time I had a thought to share! long post incoming

brief heads up that if i quote something and the text is colored, that's the color tab I used when I read the book initially. I have 7 colored tabs when reading agot and they are:

yellow - world building details / foreshadowing

orange - simply pretty or funny

red - sansa / jon / jonsa related

blue - any of the other starks centric

green - literally any other character

purple - marks deaths

pink - daenerys related

For the sake of this reading post, both "yellow" and "orange" tabs will be in yellow should I quote them. Having read the book already once I'm not sure if this is exactly how I should've set it up, but hey it there. I'll probably change is for ACOK, who knows.

Sometimes I'm going to quote whatever I tabbed without comment, but not always. Only if I simply think the line is good / pretty.

Prologue

Having the POV character be Will instead of Gared or Waymar is sooooo smart. Despite being high fantasy I like that we aren't dropped into the brain of a Knight right away, but also Will being a hunter is best equipped to actually notice all these little details being told to us.

i have a lot of things highlighted that are simply wonderful to read. I know we talk about it a lot, but George really is an amazing writer, like an actual delight to read. Like this quote:

"Will could sense something else in the older man. You could taste it, a nervous tension that came perilous close to fear."

On a craft level its so good! It tells us something about both Gared (his fear of whatever is in the woods, currently being covered by surliness) and of Will (how observant he is, using all his senses, but also how intuitive he is), and on top of all that it reads so smoothly.

because of my color coded tabs it literally made me giggle to highlight the description of Waymar as "...grey-eyed and graceful and slender as a knife." knowing I'm only thinking of Jon and jonsa. Sorry Waymar, you're beauty is only important to me for ship reasons.

Another thing that struck me as very Jon like happens only a couple lines later:

"It is hard to take orders from a man you laughed at in your cups, Will reflected... Gared must have felt the same."

Despite currently doing a reread of AGOT, I've never read past this book, but this feels so Jon to me. His status as a beloved bastard creates all that tension with his brothers, I imagine the more status he receives the more his brothers feel this. Jon is capable, but then so is Waymar. Doesn't stop Gared and Will from not taking him seriously.

If this chapter had been in Waymar's POV it would have read like a detective novel. He's clearly very analytically minded, but poor Waymar that brain and bravery isn't going to do you any good here.

"It burns, it does. Nothing burns like the cold. But only for a while."

Both Will and Gared have this instinctual fear of the Other's despite not knowing they're real. Like they can feel something is about to happen. I don't believe either of them is from the North, but I wonder if the longer you spend in Beyond the Wall, the more the magic of the place gets to you.

The entire fight between Waymar the the Others is perfect. Waymar's bravery yes, but more importantly it's the perfect introduction to what will be The Big Threat Beyond The Wall for the entire series. They're so nonhuman but not in an animal way, in a Fae way. Cruel and so beyond even a strong man's power, inescapable. Will hiding in the tree was smart and all but him being smart and observant like a hunter and still dying really pushes the idea again that no man is a match for these creatures.

Bran I

Being reminded instantly that Bran is only seven in this book broke my heart so bad. Still such a baby, and on his first big boy duty, watching an execution. If I think about it too long I'll start to get mad at Ned even though he's trying to do what he can to prepare his son's for adulthood.

"He had taken off Father's face, Bran thought, and donned the face of Lord Stark of Winterfell."

Ned's first and last actions in the book being a beheading fuck me up so bad. Every action he takes in these early chapters damns him in some way down the line, no matter how noble the intentions.

"Jon was fourteen, an old hand at justice." is such a silly and yet sad thing for Bran to think. It's so younger brother of him to assume Jon at 14 holds all this knowledge inside him, considers him wise, but Jon is just a child too. It's sad knowing that Jon is expected to act like a man, will be considered a man soon.

"Jon's eyes were a grey so dark they seemed almost black, but there was little they did not see. He was of an age with Robb, but they did not look alike. Jon was slender where Robb was muscular, dark where Robb was fair, graceful and quick where his half brother was strong and fast."

Whatever could all these details mean! This is one of those details from all those Jonsa metas that really fucking got to me. Like three pages before Waymar is described the exact same way, and I'm not meant to connect them in my mind? And then eventually we find out Sansa had a crush on Waymar? idc if I'm grasping at straws it feels real to me.

I love that immediately after than Robb and Jon show just how young they are and race to the bridge. It's one of the last times they'll allowed to be kids.

"Bran thought about it. 'Can a man still be brave if he's afraid?' 'That is the only time a man can be brave,' his father told him."

I think that quote is like a thesis statement for the Starks as a family. I know their words are Winter is Coming, but all of them are eternally brave in the face of their fear. Even Catelyn, so proud of being a Tully, is a Stark in this way.

People always bring up the 'the man who swings the sword' bit from this conversation between Bran and Ned, but the more important bit is just after. "A ruler who hides behind paid executioners soon forgets what death is." This is about the Starks yes, but more importantly it's about Westeros and everyone in it. Like. I can't articulate how important it is, but this is what Ned is trying to teach Bran, not just that Bran should take responsibility for his decisions by fulfilling them himself.

Theon is such a shit, but also Jon snarking him back "I see [a direwolf] now" is the start of Jon's dry ass humor. Why did people make me think Jon is all duty and somber monologues, this kid is funny!! And he continues to be after this iirc!! Jon funny canon please remember this people!!!

The direwolf being impaled on antlers is maybe the least subtle foreshadowing of any in this series and yet it feels so smart to me! To plant this here before we know the Baratheon sigil. And that from the eyes of innocent seven year old Bran this means almost nothing, other than him remarking on how gruesome it is, but later is superstitious Catelyn's eyes it takes on new meanings!!

"He loved Jon with all his heart at that moment. Even at seven, Bran understood what his brother had done. The count had some right only because Jon had omitted himself."

For all that Catelyn has no reason to like Jon, in other circumstance she might love the guy. "Family, Duty, Honor" right? That's all Jon is! Here he is, putting his little brother's wants above all else, even as he struggles with not being Ned's trueborn son. To voluntarily bring it up so that Bran can have a puppy... the family>duty>honor is in the room with us, coming from one Jon Snow!!

Ghost's eyes being open = "but there was little [Jon] did not see" yeah, yeah exactly! soul wolves are here besties!!!!

Catelyn I

Catelyn is that girl, I'm sorry she is the superior POV in this series. First of all she's very smart, always thinking and making connections. It's why we get this infodump from her right away, because Catelyn really can't think of being in the Godswood without comparing it to her childhood home. Second of all I love the way she is religious. Most religious characters in books and film are sort of boiled down to religious zealots or someone deeply conservative. For Catelyn it's simply part of her, a part that will never go away. She doesn't feel at home in the godswood of Winterfell because those aren't her gods, but she doesn't call them fake. They simply aren't hers. She's spiritual, it's why she see's the antler in the direwolf as a sign and takes it seriously ("dread coiled in her like a snake...") when Ned won't. I just think it gives her a unique perspective in this story, one that leads her to be almost genre aware.

"...but the red eyes of the weirwood seemed to follow her as she came."

oh no i hope we don't find out that someone is using the trees to watch people that would be so creepy /s

"'Beyond the Wall?' The thought made Catelyn shudder. Ned saw the dread on her face. 'Mance Rayder is nothing for us to fear.' 'There are darker things beyond the Wall.' She glanced behind her at the heart tree, the pale bark and red eyes, watching, listening, thinking it's long slow thoughts."

like this! there is no reason for Catelyn, a woman raised in Riverun, to fear beyond the wall more than Ned, who was born in the North. I know he spent a lot of his childhood in the Vale, but you can't tell me baby Ned wasn't told stories of what's out there. But it's Catelyn the eternally superstitious who believes them. And she's right! Always right, my poor Cassandra.

She's also so politically minded. Ned is nothing but excited to see and old friend. It doesn't even worry him that the King is making an unannounced visit. Catelyn though, she knows. Jon Arryn dead, Robert coming, the direwolf. It might aswell be in neon flashing lights to her!!

Alright, that's it for now. Daenerys I, Eddard I, and Jon I should be next, with a three a week pace is all goes according to plan. This took me way longer than I thought it was going to but it was so much fun, and as long as it continues to be fun I will continue to make them!

sapiens - also part of luigi's favorite's list!! this is by yuval noah harrari my GOAT guys.. i cannot STOP yapping about this book!! if u guys dont like reading very bulky texts and js want to get the main point there's a graphic history version and it's ive read it spits out points very concisely !! so either book it's all good :)) it's veryvery interesting it talks about evolution and why humans act like humans!! i love history and yuval noah harrari made me love evolution so much!! this book was rated a 5/5 by luigi (deserved hehe) girl honestly anyone ANYONE who gave sapiens a chance would also rate it 5/5 or a high rating it's a timeless lighthouse on the fog of defining humanity so since luigi is a very left brained man this deff fits his character all in all (oh js wanted to mention he rated sapiens: graphic history a 4/5)

harry potter - he rated 1st-3rd book a 5/5 def deserved !! ofc it's a classic ive had my harry potter phase die out and live again MULTIPLE times harry potter is probably apart of many people including luigi's first books ive read and loved list

the little prince - 4/5 (by luigi) it still freaks me out that he read the same books as a lot of us, watched the same movies as a lot of us, and that he's js a regular human but his actions moved society to forward him to transcend into the status of being "it is hell on earth to be heavenly - ts", almost even myth-like anyways back to the little prince it's rlly an AMAZING book !! it's a short read and it speaks so much about taking the truth of growing up and adulthood and making it alien through a child's eyes def made a lot of people relive an innocence that once was

the art of war - i havent finished the art of war yet..sigh.. he rated this a 4/5 and it's fitting since from the reviews ive read it's very strategic and calculated js like luigi so the rating matches with his personality

I actually answered this entire question and then uh…. Tumblr deleted my draft so let me try to redo all this lmao

Vivzie has a problem with bodytypes I’ve noticed. Almost all of her cast is insanely skinny and the only two “plus-size” characters I can think of are Millie and Mimzy. Meanwhile, Angel Dust, Vox, Stolas, & Alastor are a few very skinny characters I can think of off the top of my head.

For the best example, I’m going to be using Vox for now. Here is my Vox design next to his canon appearance

They don’t look too different right? This is still easily identifiable as Vox because his main characteristics are there; stupid little hat, tv head, thats about it.

My design also keeps elements of his suit with the stripes and shoulder pads, though in my design his body is a bit wider and his shoulders + waist make him look more commanding and intimidating while still maintaining a sense of professionalism. As for his canon design, he definitely looks sketchy, but he doesn’t really give me that commanding sense of popularity or authority that I feel an overlord should have, especially one with such a wide range of influence as Vox. His canon design looks top heavy and a little pathetic in that “he was born in a wet cardboard box all alone” way. Don’t get me wrong, a small waist can do wonders for a design, but when your designs start to look like… this

I think you might have a problem.

Now, I know I am nowhere near the best character designer in the world, but I have designed my fair share and I think I have enough experience to flatter myself a little.

This is a very simple design choice to make. Body types are probably some of the most intricate and interesting parts of a person in my opinion, and with a lineup like this where everyone looks more or lest the same from the torso down, it’s kind of a dead and sad looking cast, and not in the intended way.

I’m aware my designs are very detailed and wouldn’t be easy to animate with my style, but it’s very easy to draw extra body types with a style fit for TV.

Gravity Falls is a great example of stylised bodies and also using them to build personality. By looking at these characters you can generally tell what their base personality is probably like right? You can do the same thing to an extent with the Hazbin Cast, but all of their designs get muddled into the other. Can you even tell where half of these people are positioned in this screenshot

It’s so pink and red im going to start seeing green when I look away. There are so many colours, use them!!!! You can still slap a red overlay over it and make it “look like hell” or whatever, but you’re still gonna have more variety.

Here’s my body/fur references for Angel and Husk. They are almost entirely opposite to eachother but you can probably get an idea for how they are based on colour and shape. I recommend studying other TV shows and things like anime or movies to see how body types and colours impact character design, but general things I always think of are, like I’ve said, body type, personality, colour, and silhouette. Silhouette is a bit harder to pin since a character can have a very recognizable silhouette and still not be a good design, but honestly to me as long as you can tell which character is which from silhouette you’re good to go on that front.

- Generally just don’t reuse the same colour palette over and over (heres some of my hazbin colours)

- Give diversity in shapes when you can and when it benefits the design

- Try to show their personality through their clothes and pose

- Don’t be afraid to add little physical or personality details that other people might not notice, a good design should keep you interested in tiny details like that or surprise you later on

- Pay attention to what would and wouldn’t make sense (ex. A character that doesn’t like modern fashion wearing modern fashion)

Im not the best at explaining all of this but I hope you could grasp even just a tiny bit of an idea from this! At the end of the day as long as you’re having fun and not actively harming people with the designs then you should be good to go

Graduation AU. we're starting off with a bit of angst because NOBODY can be happy in danganronpa. they get out of high school and end up going to different colleges.... but they can make it work out long-distance-relationship style! maybe instead of meeting all their friends in HS, they meet them while off at college. ryota would probably want to pursue animation, so maybe he could meet angie, hifumi, toko, sayaka,mahiru, ibuki, etc... since they all have art/music/writing related talents!

obligatory Coffee Shop AU. one of them works at a coffee shop, other one orders a coffee, things click, stuff goes down, BOOM! relationship! i wonder if it's that easy in real life....

any game/media AU! always good when you put your favourite freaks into another piece of media. imagine them as workers in lobcorp and throw them to the abnormalities! do something like ddlc or miside where one's just a virtual being obsessed with their partner! a heartbreaking squirrel stapler AU where one of them is the dead wife and the other one is the squirrel stapler themself, trying to repent for killing their partner! needy streamer overload AU where one is ame and the other takes care of her (or breaks her apart) as P-chan!!! the crossovers are ENDLESS

Post-Tragedy AU. what if there were no killing games? no future foundation? or maybe there was a period of time before those happened, where the tragedy had already been caused and everyone is just fending for themselves. i actually drafted a pretty long story about this, with ryota as the main character too! i think it would be SUPER interesting to see him interact with other characters who are COMPLETELY different from him, like the hitlist targets from UDG! and ofc angst. just because the killing game didn't happen doesn't mean it won't happen. imagine: when ryota and makoto finally find each other, one of them is taken to participate in a killing game by the remnants of despair, and the other does everything in their power to find them and save them

Apartment AU? they literally just live in different apartments, but can easily see each other from across the street/alleyway. they wave to each other, occasionally watch the other as they water a plant or feed some stray cats, but they never have the courage to actually talk to the other... at least not immediately! do you catch my drift??

Enemies to Lovers AU..... what if makoto future foundation and ryota remnant of despair? yaoi happen. turn them into BEAUFITUL GAY MEN! makoto brings remnant ryota into the ff and they're like "whose that" and he's just all "that's oomf"

anyways, we all outta ryokoto aus..... *walks away with suspiciously ryokoto-shaped lump in my throat*

Lies of P

Pinocchio own headcanons.

• I kind of imagine that P is a very curious puppet (like a player in game exploring) and he would always bring something back to the hotel Krat after mission and Gepetto would see his son piling up things on his table. A broken doll in a red dress. A small piece of screw that shines so brightly like it was newly made. A cowboy hat which Gepetto wonders where did he get it and small few jewels which resembles Gemini's color and his eyes. However, P has been collecting so many things and piling it up on Gepetto's table, forced the old man to get a chest for P to put his treasure (mostly junks) inside.

• P doesn't seem to talk in game but characters in game acts as if so I think, P doesn't usually talk. He only talks when spoken too like an actual puppet with corresponding lines but P can make his own replies and he chooses a word or sentence that would only be a brief response. Gemini once tried to make the boy talk more than he usually does by striking conversation and question but it seems like P got annoyed that he eventually ignored Gemini for the whole mission (still listening to Gemini at least)

• despite he had fought big monsters and big hostile machines, P is afraid of cats at first. When he was curious and tried to touch the feline, it launched its claws to his hand and hissed which caused him to startle. Confused and unable to comprehend what happened, it feared the small creature temporarily as Eugene showed him that cats aren't terrifying creature. Although sensitive, cats are surprisingly affectionate in their own way. But he wishes that the cats would at least trust him and let him touch their soft fur.

• P is fascinated by his own limbs. How it bends and straighten. How his arms are able to move in rotation motion and how his fingers folds in a curl. Gemini taught him how to make a heart but unable to understand as it is not the shape of a heart (he thought literal shape of a heart) and Gemini had to go through explaining him how it is a heart. Then Gepetto gave P a show where he'd use shadow of his hands to imitate the silhouettes of animals. P was amused.

• P purrs. Or so what it sounds like. His springs inside make a sound when he feels pleasant, comfortable at certain someone or simply enjoying the pat on the head from Gepetto. They thought that spring sound is only natural but they don't mostly hear it when P feels neutral till Sophia noticed how the springs started to shift inside him when Sophia and P sat down together to enjoy the rain at the garden.

"Oh my, you sound like you're purring, oh clever one" and then smiled. P doesn't know what it means but kept quiet as the spring sound continues. Sophia thinks that he must have gotten it from the cats as he observed them without touching.

As for P's situation, he does feel warm inside or what he would try to describe it as best as he can. He also feel a small vibration inside. Only vibration and nothing else that is worrying so he lets it without telling Gepetto or Eugene.

• Puppets don't need rest however, P started to like his leisure time. He have no mission? He would stay in Hotel Krat and sit down simply and enjoy the structure of the interior. He would explore the Hotel and look at the painting. Check some corridors he hadn't seen yet. He would also look at the cats. Sits in front of them and simply observe them with a small smile which Eugene found adorable feature from the puppet.

After a mission, he wouldn't go back to the Hotel Krat immediately. He will take his time to go back there. Walking in the alley, roadside, other paths and trying to picture the place before the puppet frenzy had happened. He would ask Gemini about the buildings and structures about what it used to be.

• Missions can get P really dirty. He don't sweat but the muds and dirty water can get to his boots, clothes and skin including his hair so whenever he gets back to the hotel Krat, he is adviced by Gemini to go straight to bath immediately.

P can also feel temperature and he likes the coldness of the clean water. He would always let the cold water run and get into the tub willingly. Gepetto had once reminded P not to use too cold water and don't stay too long there to protect his P-organs from freezing. But P can be act like a child still and insists on using even colder temperature to test how he can go on until it actually happens. Almost freezing his P-organs and thanks to Gemini to call out for Gepetto which saved P from freezing all over.

P got a lot of scolding from Gepetto and after that incident, Gepetto would check on him if his staying longer in bath and sometimes would come in and help P to wash his hair thoroughly from the dirt that is in blindspots.

assex is fatphobic but he really wrote that about adukin and taiyo as a wholesome, totally serious representation, and not as an anime tier joke, sure. look. people being curious and drawing them with their eyes open is in no way comparable to erasing (example) an amputee's disability. amputations are considered ugly and gross in our society, while the "having minimal expressions and still doing things normally" trope is considered to be curious and amusing, which makes me wonder, is it really a disability if they can still see, talk and eat just fine? sure, they can't move it but they can still do the things those body parts do if they weren't paralyzed, which cancels it out? afaik, everyone draws them normally, but in some cases draw them doing other expressions out of just "what if?

hey man.. i get what youre saying here, but i did not say that shit you put at the start and i need you to take a minute to consider why that's what your takeaway on what i was saying was. i never said they were 10/10 best representation of disabilities ever invented. infact i have openly said i dislike how axez represents them in the past, and have made this very clear to be the case, which is something you could have simply asked instead of just assuming i believe that taiyo and adukin are the pinnacle of disability rep. im still going to be mad when these things are removed. disabilities dont have to be ugly, well written, or well implemented into a character for me to not want them to be removed. whether or not axez treats their disability as if it is a serious thing, which he does not, i do not like any what-if scenario like that. because even if its poorly written and typically only used for jokes in taiyos case, they are still disabled. that is my opinion. im going to get annoyed when i see people doing this, whether or not you think its fine, because we have different opinions on this. if you're going to say these things, at least say them off anon so we can have an actual conversation.

-They actually spend time together when outside the adventures aww! (Not like they really have a choice, but still neat-)

Overall, this was definitely my favorite episode so far! The team is getting better each and every episode! SOOO much happened here!! I'm super excited to see what happens next!!

Okay, THEORY TIME!!

-Okay so to start lightly, so far, all the episodes we've seen contain:

Gangles mask breaking

Jax breaks the 4th wall

A cute/sad heart to heart conversation or interaction

A reference to angels or god or Christianity in some way

Interesting right?? Wonder if this keeps up...

-On the topic of Christianity, I saw a theory saying that if it's true that the gang developed the game (which may be true because of that computer science line), When Pomni says "I knew it would end up like this... He just wants me to suffer..." she may not be referring to Caine, but her Boss at CnA.

If that boss exists and is NOT named able, Imma be mildly upset-

-Okay, Alot of people have been talking about Jax being an NPC, and I wanna bring up my opinion on this:

As I mentioned earlier, he always breaks the 4th wall, witch could be seen as a character in a game being like "What do YOU think?" *Insert Game Options here*

I saw another theory saying that if this is true, Jax might be self aware or sentient to some degree, and This is why he tortures everyone. He knows that this world Revolves around the players and nit him so he wants to make them more miserable.

-OKAY, NOW WHAT (I) WEVE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR... THE WHOLE DEAL WITH CAINE GLITCHING OUT AN' STUFF!

As one of many Caine angst connisuars on this platform, I really enjoyed this scene...

Caine knows that he only exists to make adventures and if he can't do it well enough than he serves ZERO purpouse and his existence is useless... (he's just like me fr)

This has SO MUCH POTENTIAL FOR A SERIES FINALE.

Since in each episode we've (mostly) seen a character being comforted (mostly Either Pomni being comforted OR someone being comforted BY Pomni)

What if the last episode had Caine and Pomni having a heart to heart?

(Shutup this is not about showtime I swear let me have this-)

Someone abstracts, (Ragatha or Kinger probably,) and it's Caine's last straw. He finally breaks and the circus goes into ruins. Pomni does her best to comfort him. This could go one of two ways:

Either she sucseeds and happy ending for everyone :D

OR, they fail and The Circus is destroyed, Taking Caine down with it.

Maybe then that would be how they escape cuz if Caine is emotionaly attached to the circus, it would be completely destroyed or erased if Caine finally broke...

The angst potential is crazy...
