Anyway congrats your my new favorite blog. I love your Gaston and think u should draw Eric Riggin more, I always loved finding Vanessa series (and really hope he’ll perhaps consider making a second series with tales on the road)

I'll be honest I'm also a long time fan like I was there when the "how did we get here" part was uploaded on youtube before being yeeted. I still remember when Jack found my art the first time back on sketchbook paper in like 2019 or something on instagram. And now... he found my art again just way in the future lol, he probs doesn't remember at all.

I just recently got back into it after re-binging all 4 books and all the free stuff on the blogs and youtube in october.

Also I cant say much on TFTR (like we know hes continuing the series of course like thats what he did with the abandoned zoo but how he goes about that is only privy to him) buuuuutttt if you go look at his blog rn in the story index all the way at the bottom looks like there was an update... and frankly I am excited if thats true cuz I wasn't actively there for Bedside Manor as it was coming out and I know it was an ARG- SO IF WHAT THAT TITLE SAYS IS TRUE. I am so onboard for what comes next.

As for Eric... perhaps. If I get any more ideas. We shall see. FV2 is still on hiatus from what I know but it is linked in the story index if you haven't read it yet.

I usually like to play games in portuguese to avoid the english overload i usually get from other things (except stardew, i never changed the language there in my whole 530 hours of playing it). And moonstone island was no exception

And the joy i fucking had when i saw that they used gender neutral pronouns for the protagonist AND for the characters that use they/them!!

Like Holy shit that's a huge step for stuff in portuguese to have other pronouns. In a moment where any characters who use they/them being reffered with no pronouns in portuguese, this is a big thing

(no pronouns are cool its just sucky that avoiding pronouns is the only other way, and the way that most choose because of so many people shitting on the neopronouns here)

City of Tears. But Mini.

I wanted to make an atmospheric art piece with Dewi. And the City of Tears is one of the most sorrowing, beautiful, and grand places to do that. This is a lot of firsts for me regarding the architecture and lighting. The shadows cover a lot, and it may have been too much. I'm happy with how it turned out tho.

No idea how Dewi found his way into the City. Probably magic. Probably plot too :) But oh boy, he is experiencing childlike wonder in his raincoat!

This is a better show of the line detail I needlessly covered up in the final lol

#I love the idea that Ghost's resting spot is always on Dewi's hat. It's a great vantage point for spotting potential threats!#Quirrel doesnt mind the rain.
