#im still sick today so its nice to take the opportunity to lore dump

i hope you were serious tag-op cuz there is nothing i like more than to talk about these two. they are ocs, (though i haven't minded people tagging otps and dif ships on them, its easy to perceive them as anyone since theres no face in the drawing) they are side characters from my webcomic Seemingly Dark, but i loved them so much i started their own comic, Mil-Liminal. This image is from their highschool days.

the Punk is Johnathan 'Hurricane Sully' O'Sullivan and the cheerleader is Caro Greene (dif name back then but thou shall not be deadnamed with no context, ill link a post below with info on both characters.) They were next door neighbors, but Caro's parents were super strict and wouldnt let them hang around the small-town troublemaker. So whats a super closeted trans-masc cheerleader to do in order to hang out with the boy they like, but get detention. They swap small things like jewelry and notes when they can't communicate. As adults they do the same, because their relationship is a bit long-distance. The image itself is a prompt i got for the characters on Instagram, and i wanted to do it in kind of a manga style, it was the first time i played with the textures and halftone and i love how it came out and im glad people like it too.

anyway, heres a pic of them as adults after reconnecting seven years in the future, Caro's transitioned and a world famous podcaster and Johnny's an insecure barista doing his best, both comics can be read on webtoon or tapas, but youre also welcome to come up with your own ideas. In both comics they are adults, but the highschool version of them exist in a mini print comic i did called Prom Night. Most of the images on this blog are them in varies stages, their book comes out soon and so I've done a LOT of art of them. (oh and all my comics are supernatural or spooky.)
