There are balloons by the bed, which is made and has a heart for a headboard. There’s a lamp on the nightstand. Across from the bed, there’s a dresser, and next to that is a desk. On the far end, there’s a window-alcove with the curtains drawn back. The second panel is a close up of Darling’s face as she takes in the room with wide eyes. The third panel is another close up, this one showing her crying as she’s overwhelmed by her emotions.

Darling is standing next to Cheerilee with her mane over her face. Cheerilee is putting a hoof on her shoulder comfortingly as she addresses an unseen class, saying “This is Darling Hooves - she’s joining us from Cloudsdale.”

Derpy is flying with a tray of muffins, saying “Welcome home! I made muffins!” Darling is standing in the doorway with her schoolbag on, leaning away from Derpy in surprise.

Diamond Tiara is sitting in the Carousel Boutique storage room doing her homework. Her saddlebag is laying next to her. She’s saying “K.” in response to Sassy Saddles, who’s leaning in the doorway and saying “Hey, hang out with the new kid or you’re fired.” 

Diamond Tiara is wearing her school bag and walking past Sassy Saddles, who’s putting a flapper-esque outfit on a mannequin. Sassy is looking at her happily and saying “So what do you think of Darling Hooves? Sweet filly, right?”

A four panel mini-comic. In the first panel, Derpy is standing in front of Sunset Shimmer, rubbing her hoof anxiously and looking away. She’s saying “She just isn’t talkin’ t’anypony... Shouldn’t she have friends by now?” Sunset is gesturing wildly at her with exasperation, yelling “LITERALLY WHY DO YOU THINK I KNOW”. The second panel is an extreme zoom out. Sunset is saying “Okay uh let’s just. Let’s ask Gilda. She’s working right now, isn’t she?” In the third panel, Derpy and Sunset are standing in the doorway of Sugar Cube Corner. Gilda is wiping down the counter and Zecora is sitting on a stool across from her, spun around so she can see Sunset and Derpy. Sunset is saying “Hey, Derpy’s sister should have friends by now, right?” The fourth panel is a closeup of the counter. Gilda is shrugging with one claw, saying “Do I really look like somepony who’d know that?” Zecora has turned back around towards Gilda, with a hoof up to her mouth, looking down at the counter contemplatively. She’s muttering “Maybe...?”

Darling and Diamond Tiara stand across from Silver Spoon, who’s looking at them with wide eyes. Diamond Tiara is gesturing to Darling, saying “This is Darling. She’s our friend now, I guess.” Darling is zoned out, captioned “I have no idea what’s going on”.
