I hope you'll give riptide a chance. you don't gotta listen to the black rose one shot prior to it and the first couple eps are a lil rough but it gets really really good and serious but still fun. I'm a lil obsessed with them right now and this is my riptide propaganda

there isn't actually that much pirating in that one, it's more like they go from island to island and have adventures there with Sometimes naval ship battles

anw patreon is worth it for apotheosis campaign and blood in the bayou campaign as well, they're also really fun

We'llllll see - I tried to listen to it a while back but it really didn't catch my fancy. Honestly I'm not sure whether I'll get into any campaign other than The Suckening but I'm always down to try an episode or two

riz and adaine's little internal nerd club within the bad kids is soooo important to me. riz compiles dossiers of information for his failing party members that are like an inch thick, stuffed full of papers and forms and pamphlets about all the ways they can improve their academic standing, and then just so adaine feels included he makes a folder for her that's empty and simply says "hey adaine!" inside. literally who is doing it like them

I think the most heartbreaking thing about arcane is that there is CANONICALLY a universe where everyone lives, everyone is happy and everything is undeniably better, for everyone- its the only thing vi’s ever wanted. For her family to be whole and thriving, but she isnt there to see it because she died. Everything she ever wanted and she’ll never know. Devastating
