“capitol loss, love was the law and religion was taught” dont even get me started on how much this lyric relates to lightning and his childhood i will get clinical

lightning and his disdain for the way he was raised.. his hatred for religion thanks to his mother… someone described the “love was the law” part as a person not experiencing/being “taught” how to love (i.e, in lightnings case, his mothers hatred and emotional/physical abuse towards him as well as his fathers neglect) but a person will feel love anyways at some point in their lives . do u think radiator springs was where lightning felt love for the first time.
