33 - Would they like to have a ghoul if they don’t have one?

He misses the ghouls they had back home 😔… But has been thinking about making some new ones since they’re here for the time being. The only thing stopping him is that he really just hasn’t found the right mortal yet. Although he thinks he’s found one that’s proven to be quite useful. An uber driver who’s helped him make an exceptional getaway a few times already. (INCLUDING the time his adversary attacked their car with a gun and a motorcycle.)

12 - What happened that lead up to their embrace? (CW: drugs, dominate… murder…. yeah…😔)

They were supposed to be playing a show with Lexi and Murphy. They did, then things start to go a little fuzzy. There was something about being taken to a back room, drugs, talking, sitting, listening... They found out later they were back there for a few hours, kept in place by some sabbat member who was bored. When he was tired of playing with them they were let out. Leaving through the back alley. The man sat from the rooftop and watched them go before deciding to put an end to them. He killed lexi almost instantly ( hehe sorry bestie @knowncorpse <3 thinking abt her leg and throwing up) then murphy who put up a solid fight before his head met a brick wall, and then Jacinth who tried to push him off before running and getting mauled in the parking lot. Thats how Francis found them at least 😭

16 - How good are they at acting “alive”?

(ur hurting my feelings DS:LJDSF:LJ) Aurel isn’t quite sure anymore. He’s been this way for so long he longs for the feeling. Craving it and immersing himself in it through books and art and music. He pretends, in his poems, that he is alive, copying what he sees mimicking the beauty, the sorrow, and the drama of mortality. Everything is seen through his rose coloured glasses— so while he’s a force of personality, it comes across as well as a crazed actor performing a script.

He wants to, step by step, build himself up. Prove himself to his Mawla and make sure they can achieve their goals— together. Amos saved him from himself, so it’s only fair he return the favour. 🥰

RESEARCH! I tried to read a lot abt the victorian age and shove it into my brain. Specifically information about immigration at that time, LGBT ppl, and disabled people. Trying to put his story in a historical context is a fun challenge.

5 - Who is their sire?

Jacinth

Their sire is Francis Gray, a neonate anarch brujah who stumbled on their band, bleeding out in an alleyway, after a sabbat attack at one of their gigs. He used to have a punk band in the 70’s, sticking with the scene even as the world changed and his old friends got older. He’s forever 16 😭 so sorry to him… When he embraced WSFF (trying to save them as best he could) he broke a few major rules that resulted in him owing the cam a life debt. To free himself from it he traded his fledglings to the Nosferatu primogen, and fled the city. (Francis when I get you…..)

Eli is a new guy of mineee hehe his game hasn’t started yet but im cooking. Their game is set in 1850’s London. His sire is a 9th gen ravnos who goes by the alias “Booker”. He doesn’t know much about him, at least much thats real. He met the man in a pub back in Ireland. He was a little rough around the edges but friendly and persuasive. He had a small boat and was (illegally) bringing people to the big city for a fraction of the price… It seemed like a good idea at the time 😔.. but bro was a trap door

22 - What are their thoughts on other predator types?

at first they weren’t enthused about eating people, and found a lot of kindred’s feeding practices to be cruel (sorry jacinth.. former vegan 😔). They tried to hold on to that belief for as long as possible, until the hunger kicked in. Sometimes bagged blood doesn’t cut it. They still try to do things their way, but understand how things work now. People gotta do what they gotta do. + their bf is an organavore… (hehe myyy bf THEE @organovore ) so they try to approach things with a much more open mind.

Eli on the other hand is a little freak. He’s in a toxic situationship with a ventrue montero and finds him fascinating. I think he’s curious about how people utilize their strengths when it comes to feeding and believes you can learn a lot about another kindred just by watching them eat.

they can’t make a proper ghoul— but they wouldn’t even if they could. Taking away someone’s freewill is not very punk.

He’s currently in the process of making one! and would love love love to make more. “Being bloodbonded really isn’t that bad, it’s kinda great actually!” - someone who has been blood bonded for 20 something years. He’s trying hard to social climb rn, and needs all the protection he can get.

40 - Would they ever commit diablerie if given the chance?

They were given the chance once, on a huge stage, in front a crowd of camarilla aligned kindred— watching like it was a stage play. They said no and stand by it. Being a thin blood isn’t the curse the cam keeps telling them it is. They’re starting to think it’s a strength, and love to prove old rich people wrong. They wouldn’t want to ever give them the satisfaction.

He might, if he thought he could get away with it. Power is power, and he needs more of it to keep up with the people around him. He had a few foggy years when he was a fledgling. Maybe he already has?

Here Lies The Abyss: conquered, cried over. I was definitely over leveled this time, doing a complete-all-sidequests run really means you power through them. gonna do a lot more companion & sidequests now though, and save What Pride Had Wrought for much much further on...

also: I have INSTALLED A MOD for the first time ever. New hairstyle! My computer is too old and sad to add anything more than that though I think.
