He said nothing in response when you asked him that, but it was a different story when Jeno voiced out the same question. It wasn’t in your memories that he was this petty.

Donghyuck’s voice ripped through despite the gathering noise. Jaehyun grinned at him. “Wasn’t planning to!”

Jaemin suddenly marched into the crowd.

“I feel like if you tell him to rob a bank, he would do it without question.”

Jeno joined you in staring at the sight in front of you— the back of Na Jaemin’s head squeezing himself through the river of people just so he could get himself signed up for an event he hadn’t even been listening to. “I didn’t even tell him to do anything,” you said. Jaemin looked as if he’d won a gold in marathon after listing down his name. Jeno shook his head with a sigh and submerged himself into the rest of the group as well. You quietly followed, stepping down the middle aisle when a good amount had already left the room, planning to join the logistics committee on top of overseeing the preparations.

It's a wonderfully sunny afternoon, and the sun beams merrily into the house as you stand there on his doorstep. Seokmin feels like crying.

"Can you not at least tell me what went wrong?"

You shake your head, sighing. You don't look at him, eyes focused on your own tangled fingers. "I'm sorry, Seokmin."

"Was it me? Please, give me another chance," he begs, holding his hands out to you, trying to place a hand on your shoulder, get you to look at him, but you flinch away from his touch and his heart breaks. "I'll be better for you, I promise."

That has you sighing, eyes still fixed downwards. "No, it's—it's not you, it's m—"

"No, no, don't say that." Seokmin shakes his head fervently, and his head is aching, throbbing in tandem with his heart, feeling the way you're slipping from his grasp. "It's never you. It could never be you. What did I do wrong? What could I have done better? Please, I—I love you."

The words feel desperate, fraying on his tongue, tumbling out despairingly, just like the tears now spilling out of the corners of his eyes.

You look up at him, finally, but the eye contact makes him feel worse, seeing the way the sun lights up your eyes, warm and bright but so, so far away. And getting further away with every blink.

"I love you too," you say, but it makes his heart sink further when you say next, "but I… I just don't think this works. I think it's better if we stop this. Maybe… stop seeing each other for a while, too."

Seokmin tries to swallow around the lump in his throat. He's known, known that your relationship has felt a little strained these days, feeling like he's chasing after you while you try and push him away, but having the outcome, those seven words staring him in the face feels far too real and far too terrifying.

"I think we should break up, Seokmin."

"Y/N—"

"I don't want you changing yourself for me," you carry on, and when you smile it looks sympathetic, understanding. But not loving. "You've been accommodating me for so long in this relationship. And I think it's best if you find someone who you don't have to do that for."

He finally manages to swallow. But the lump stays in his throat. "Someone other than you, you mean."

You smile again, gentle. "I'm sorry, Seokmin."

He was looking for a certain color of paint yes you read that right. Paint. It was a teal color and when looking on his paint shelf it wasn’t there it was missing.

The artist was frustrated he couldn’t find it unless..someone took it..he went to go ask starting with the sunshine boy knowing he liked to borrow things time to time

“Felix?” Hyunjin said as he entered the boys room and Felix turned around from whatever he was doing “yeah?”

“You wouldn’t happen to have taken a real paint from my room did you?”

“No I’ve only taken an orange color and yellow but no teal”

Hyunjin made his way to the puppy boys room “Seungmin did you see a teal paint bottle at all?” “Yeah I did I saw hannie hyung leave off with it somewhere” so hannie took it he thought and went off to the boys room.
