TechPhee headcannons?? These are a bit random I just wanted to throw them out

- When Phee wants Tech to pay attention to her she'll give his belt a little tug and say "c'mere" before telling him what she wanted to

- When Tech wants Phee to pay attention to him he awkwardly stand over her and stare until she looks up and he'll immediately just go ":)" and launch into whatever it was he wanted before she can question how long he was standing over her for

- Tech will reach for her hand in large crowds so she can take them wherever while he reads his datapad and she's always careful to warn him when they're turning/going down a curb

- Phee taught Tech how to "negotiate" (read: straight gaslight) and the only time he's ever had to do it was one time when Phee and Wrecker wanted to go to the bar during a mission and Tech was bribed into letting them, the conversation with Hunter went a little like:

Hunter, over comm: Where's Phee and Wrecker?

Tech, answering: In position

Hunter: ...I'm literally standing where they're meant to be and they're not here

Tech: yes they are

Hunter: I- what?? No, they arent—

Tech: yes they are, you're in the wrong place

- Hunter killed them for that

- Phee's got a real taste for spicy stuff, and forgets others aren't so tolerant- Tech's got a crazy sweet tooth, and they once had their meals switched. There was chaos.

- while phee is technically supposed to be their pirate(liberator) negotiator, she tends to fly off the handle a lot, and Tech more often than not watches her threaten to burn a lot of places down before carrying her out of a gun fight

- (on one occasion he calmly let her go and watched her pull through on those threats after they told him to "keep her down")

- Tech's kisses are quick and short. He gives her little pecks while no one's looking and most of the time theyre aimed at her cheeks/forehead- he doesn't do a lot of PDA but he gets VERY affectionate while he's tired:))

- Phee is the OPPOSITE. She will kiss him everywhere anywhere she has no qualms and she LOVES kissing his lips and neck(it's easier to reach) and she ESPECIALLY loves pulling him down for a long kiss when she KNOWS her future brother-in-laws are already bitching about them

- while being insanely competitive(idk why, he literally never loses-) he still let's Phee win sabbacc sometimes, and always sits back and let's her brag and just ":) yay good job" while she calls him a BIG LOSER (he thinks he's secretly winning because she always smiles when she wins)

- Phee knows he lets her win

- they sing and dance while they do jobs together. Fixing the Marauder? Not without background music. Cleaning up after Wrecker and Omega's attempts at baking? Gotta have some ambiance turn the holo up. Even as far as a covert mission??? Phee catches Tech humming while he sets the charges and can't help but blow their cover laughing hysterically

- phee knows and hates hondo. she'd punch him for maybe a half credit.

- tech thinks he's delightfully charming :)

- the three of them get along fine until tech leaves the room. he can never guess why they always smile at him when he looks at them??

- phee(jokingly) asked hunter permission to marry tech at dinner, and got so offended when he said no, she decided to ask tech for REAL

- (he said yes btw)

when I say I have insomnia or that I can't sleep I mean for real. I mean. I have chronic insomnia. so all the normal things you could do to help induce sleep (peppermint or chamomile tea, melatonin, dyphanhydramine however you spell that, no blue light, warm milk, asmry beloved, rain or white noise, etc) they don't really do anything for me. they might make me feel sleepy, but nothing helps me actually sleep. whatever phase my insomnia is in is however I'm sleeping. so either wake up every hour or so, sleep through but only get 2-3 hours, sleep through the normal amount (5 hours) but have vivid dreams, wake up only one time but I'm awake for ages, I only want to sleep at 7pm, I literally can't sleep at night, etc. and I can't change that.

I'm mentioning this because my boss knows I have chronic insomnia and still asks me if I can take melatonin or whatever to help. I mean, sure. I could take it. But melatonin is weird to me and dyphan-whatsits might work but only the one time and I can't use it again for like a month. tea is nice but it's just nice.

caffeine does not necessarily keep me awake unless it's coffee caffeine, but I do avoid that. blue light from my laptop or phone does not affect me. I mean. it probably does but not my sleep. it's a wonderful dream to think that if I just didn't use screens before bed and drank chamomile tea and went to bed at exactly the same time every night that I'd get good sleep. but uh, I've tried that. and my insomnia doesn't care. it does what it wants.

at the moment I am following up my least favorite phase with my second least favorite phase: vivid dreams was last week and this week I've slept 7 of the past 76 hours. this happens. I can't change it. I just live it until the cycle switches out.

so um. this isn't even a rant, really, it's just a hopefully one-and-done post because people are very nice, but while taking magnesium will probably be good for me, it's not going to cure my insomnia, random customer. it might’ve cured your son's regular, temporary insomnia, but it will not cure my chronic condition, the one I've had since birth. just ask my mom.

okay so this was a rant. forgive me. I haven't slept.

Naveen is the least focused on/talked about from one of my least talked about current fandoms. Don't get me wrong; I really love Fallen Hero. However, I'm not particularly as hard-core as the average FHR fan. They're a at a level of consistent dedication and analysis that I LOVE to see, but I don't really always have in me [also my memory is shit, lol]. So, I always feel odd putting up my blorbos ... especially if it's some time since I've read the series, BUT don't get me twisted, I do love it and them! And my more commonly spoken about get some traction too! It's just this ... BASTARD, lol.

Maybe it's because they're the third. Maybe because I originally didn't play book 1 with them. Maybe it's because their character concept is a bit hard for me in certain ways -- while also being real easy for me in other ways -- so I feel disjointed when I try to grasp or discuss them. I don't know but I feel Naveen gets the short end of the stick.

Some things about Naveen:

Naveen really ain't shit. I mean Naveen IS the shit. They're the richest of my steps and has a clearer, more self-focused goal of the three. They're least likely to be deterred [until .... dun dun dun] of the lot. I think it is because their desire is very straight-forward and doesn't really hinge on the Rangers or their approval [or even disapproval!]. It certainly isn't twisted up in morality, right?

Their desire is freedom. Money and success are avenues to that. Sure they DO love luxury and yes they DO love art [art thief bg what's up!]. However, their goal is freedom from their past, freedom from connections that would weigh them down [bye Ortega!], freedom to be who and what they want to be. I think of my lot Naveen is the one who is most alive -- or most wants to BE alive. They want to live life as and believe they are a Real BoyTM more than they others do.
