The moment everyone had been waiting for. Your heart raced as you watched Lando on your phone from your hotel room, feeling that familiar tension in the air as he crossed the finish line.

You weren’t there. And it broke you.

But there was a reason. You had been told to rest, to stay in bed, and most of all, to take it easy during the pregnancy’s more delicate stages. You hated that you couldn’t be there — you hated that you couldn’t be the one to throw your arms around him as he celebrated. But you knew Lando. He would be okay. He had this.

After months of preparation, late-night baby name debates, and countless check-ups, it was finally here. The moment you’d been waiting for. Your baby girl was on her way.

•Guys I’m stepping into unknown territory, I got back into this game since like 2023 late Decembers and I’m pretty sure I missed so much stuff correlating to 8-bit or even any brawler’s lore since I used to play this game since like 2020 so if there are any key details I’ve missed about his character IM SO SORRY LIKE IM GENUINELY ASHAMED OF MYSELF TOO BECAUSE I DON'T WANT TO DISAPPOINT THE FANS WHO ARE GENUINELY HUGE NERDS ABOUT THIS BRAWLER if you have any like canon information about it or if there’s a site that contains lore about Brawl Stars and it’s characters, in general, please tell me. I’m desperate, my sister is helping me with a piece of stone and rock and using our cavemen brains together. But enough about my silly ranting, let’s begin!

•8-bit, 8-bit, 8-bit, ha, what an interesting robot to date since it’s an arcade machine. I mean imagine if you go to an arcade and just see someone being affectionate with one of these things? Pretty weird, huh? But unlike them, 8-bit is actually alive, and in Brawl Stars anything could happen since it’s fiction! Oh, wonderful!

•It has mad anger issues, do I even have to say it aloud? (Some of their things have some sort of reference that leads to being somewhat negative or aggressive like in that animation with the CCTV animation and such; even his design has some cool details with both the skull on its thing and that big X on its back but whatever!) Sometimes I like to think it can get easily annoyed and just grab out its pistols and just shoot at the thing that angered them but if it’s you, they will just warn you pretty aggressively.

•BUT!!! Don’t worry, it goes to… therapy!! I know I was pretty surprised about this too but during your relationship, it does visit a therapist to sort out its behavioral problems which is awesome! So if you notice them resisting the urge to blow up then you know they’re slowly improving out it's anger issues!

•Do you think they have a general dislike of humans in general? I think it does, the only people they can tolerate pretty well are Brock, maybe some other brawlers like Pam, and you! I just think they're neutral about robots as they don’t irritate it as much as humans do. But still, if you ever see it glaring at people especially in the age ranges of a kid to teens, just know it despises them.

•OOHH! It’s so awkward hugging this big blocky dude because of their shape and size! They’re so blocky and it will be so funny if you have to maneuver around just so you could have the perfect hug! They’re probably going to be confused too.

•I like to think it doesn’t enjoy being touched. I don’t know but I like to correlate the hating humans headcanon to the fact that the reason why it doesn’t like to be touched is because of its players! They hate it when the person’s grubby hands are on the controllers, aggressively tapping and beating up the poor dude so I could see how it would grow to dislike just the simplest touch. Obviously, it isn’t going to push and then shoot you if your fingers accidentally touch them. No, they’re surprisingly a brawler who has both great and little patience if you get me. I feel like he’s able to let his loved ones touch them even though they’re not the greatest fans. AHHH IT COULD BE SUCH A SOFTIE TO THEIR LOVER TOO WHEN YOU THINK ABOUT IT! UGHH

•8-bit’s love language is quality time. I like to imagine it enjoys spending time with their lover and doing whatever they want to do even though they suck booty! The only exception is when they have to move their legs.

•Speaking about it, They’re such a slow walker that it doesn’t even want to walk anymore for most days. They literally loathe it and you have to be such a patient person if you want to do any moving activities with them.

•Heh, another robot brawler you know what that means!!! RAHHHH ITS GOING TO BE THE FIRST CLUELESS ABOUT LOVE!! I genuinely love this headcanon and would almost apply this to every robot brawler. I don’t know. I cannot imagine a robot’s first programming to love people and that includes the arcade machine we love! I feel like they would generally get it faster though due to the lovey-dovey couple it’s been exposed to during its times of being an inanimate object.

•Can you also imagine it tried to mimic them like one time but that made both you and it uncomfortable so it doesn't do it ever again. Hehe silly billy!

•8-bit does not kiss, he literally doesn’t have lips. I could just imagine a replacement with that would be hand-holding. (If you kiss him, he gets a bit of a tingly, statiky feeling).

•OMG whenever they get flustered which is like barely like their whole face turns red and then like this some sort of pop-up appears that its system is being heated and that it needs to cool down or something and you can see smoke coming out of their body like a smoking hazard.

•The majority says that 8-bit will allow you to play their super hard, brutal game but personally it’s like a maybe especially since it lost the controller and the fact it HATES its players. It may be hesitant to let you play on it. But you know what they’re honestly fine with you playing on other arcade machines. They may be very very good at it, like they know the cheat codes and the super epic strategies that pros use or they will be dogwater. (I prefer the first one but honestly, it just depends on whatever you think it’s true!)

•Relating to its controller it lost, do you think they still mope about it once in a while? Like I could imagine it one day grumbling about the fact they lost it and you know those wasps that can clearly remember someone’s face and have photogenic memory? I could see 8-bit remembering the exact person who does it and can even accurately describe them and it would make them pay for it if they ever stumble upon them again.

•Can you imagine 8-bit easily having grudges and it’s hard to let them go? That could also be another behavioral problem that they’re fixing with his therapist. Like, imagine if you had a fight with them, and for like the aftermath of the fight it was kinda cold with you. I think they’re trying to forgive others easily, especially their loved ones.

•At first in the relationship it has the most NPC dialogue for an arcade machine. I could see them struggling to say regular words that humans would use for conversation since it’s so used to saying what it’s always programmed to say when a player wins, loses, and more but as you dated them and the months passed, their vocabulary would increase and it would have been having regular and normal conversations with you even though from time to time it would resort saying back to “Player one” and such.

• He isn’t a huge talker but that one moment where they could properly express what it has been feeling for years was so refreshing for him! That was probably the longest he ever talked and it will be so funny if he speaks about his journey of his motherboard exploding or whatever mind-blowing and crazy in a nonchalant tone of voice and you have to stare at him like WHATT??!! Could you imagine them spilling out what was on their mind for years?? CAN YOU SEE IT PLEASE??

•It can make the cutest facial expressions for someone like them. They’re actually very expressive?? (My favorites from them are UwU and 0_0) Can you imagine it being silly and wonder if someone hacked them even though it can be like that on certain days.

•Wait just as its vocabulary increases do you think its personality develops too? It will be really interesting but I don’t really know how I could see it being more relaxed and would smile often but I don’t know.

•8-bit can actually use both of its hands, I think it’s called ambidextrous. I could imagine it using both of its guns but as you know, it can’t so now it uses these magic hands to do productive things.

•You know how it can make words on its screen to make facial expressions, imagine if it ever gets grumpy it just doesn’t speak to you and instead it would write it out like [this] (Imagine the bracket keys being the screen)...

•8-bit is a geek about games and would make references about it that nobody understands except the hardcore nerds, specifically and especially the old-school games. In addition, can you imagine it being a technology nerd as well?

•I could see it as someone who’s very defensive and protective. I could just imagine them shielding you in a protective stance with their gun out…

•Also it will be super funny if they shut off randomly and then like you have to insert coins in order for them to continue “life” Otherwise they will be shut down unless someone decides to play them. So imagine just you holding spare coins just in case it ever happens or just forcing multiple coins onto their slot so they can stay alive for as long as they can.

•They are a cool. Yep, a cool arcade machine!!

Silly Game Time: It's almost 2025. So what was you personal "Story of 2024"?

It could be a novel, film, show, or game. It can be one you experienced for the first time in 2024 (even if it was from an earlier year), or it can be one that you'd experienced before this year, but that you really likes or that typified the vibe of 2024 for you.

This is a really hard question because my hyperfixations change and go or appear at least every three weeks, so it's hard to track down which one is the one that had the most influence on me (below cut is all my rambling and yapping about fandoms i've liked, just know i love the maggotdom they're cool)

I'm gonna assume this is a jugement free zone, cause if it's not i'm fucked and need to delete my identity, going off my ao3 history, the category i read the most (going off how many pages do i have to skip to get to another fandom), i read, i think, an absurd number of Poolverine (wolverine/deadpool) fanfiction. Now am I happy with that ? ....

I think next up would be House MD which... i mean yeah but i'm still uncomfortable, also i watched 5 seasons in two weeks and just thinking about it makes me a little ill

For context, i also cannot remember shit from this year, so any fandom i've been in is part of that memory black hole

If i had to choose one i'd say Interview With the Vampire was not only my preferred one but also the most influencial one for me of 2024, i had been waiting for a while to see it and i loved every minute of it, so my Story of the Year is Interview With The Vampire. The second place goes to Sherlock (goddammit).

Also, as a non official official story of the year would be Good omens, technically watched it in 2023 but it had a lot of influence on my 2024, because i joined the sub-fandom of the maggots (around february or something), led by mascot Asmi, or @weirdly-specific-but-ok . I met some cool people and it was a place of happiness and safety for me when i wasn't doing so good. Shout out to my mutual @friday-im-in-love-with-crowley and those who i'm afraid to tag who are also maggots (sadly, i'm anxious, but also it'd be rude), i love y'all dearly and though i don't know most of y'all, i appreciate your existence.

Vague 2024 Art Thoughts

this is gonna be a lil bit weird and very mushy and probably too personal but as we're approaching the end of the year and i get to do my "shit how's my art changed in the past year compared to previous years" i can't overstate how much being in the traffic life community has inspired me to draw in a way i haven't been inspired to draw for years

like idk i don't draw as quickly as a lot of other people and I've only drawn *checks notes* 18 finished pieces from August - December in the community, which isn't really that many realistically but idk I only drew like 11 finished pieces total for the entirety of 2023 so for me this is like so so so much. And like looking at the limited amount of lineart I've done for my most recent piece, I really feel like I've advanced a lot as an artist in how I handle form and how I draw faces and expressions and gods!!!! my rendering!!!!! that's changed so much and I'm so happy with where it's at currently :>

like idk im still a lil bit in the throes of art block but that's mostlly just due to some general life stressors happening currently but I'm genuinely soso happy with how things have gone with my art in the latter half of 2024 and this community has inspired me in so many ways.

also i've made legitimate friends in the community??? that's so neat, I've never made fandom friends before and it's been so lovely to have people to share ideas and drawings with in a way i've never had before and that's been great and yeah idk.

i've been on such a journey in general this year with life: I graduated, I got back into art in a huge way, I've written like ~30k words of writing, I've done a fuckton of introspection on who the person I want to be is in general, I can drive????? - nd like a bunch of those are in some way impacted by being into traffic life stuff so yeah that's been a huge positive!!

idk just like everyone i've met in this community has been so lovely and so inspiring and yeah im just feeling happy about art atm

i read all of frank miller's sin city bc im on a noir kick and i didn't have a good time. the closest i got to fun was (deadly little, always described as "deadly little") Miho, a mute japanese??? generic asian??? assassin who is tits out not in these panels but in almost all others, rollerblading around mowing down guys with her katana. that was a painful sentence to write.

i read a lot of genre fiction. i read a lot of older genre fiction. they are not written with me, a bisexual "woman", in mind. and that’s ok bc not everything has to be written with me in mind. rarely have i read something that is more For The Boys Only!!! than frank miller’s sin city. felt kind of gross and a little put off the whole time i read these and they made me a little bit upset and afraid of men in a way i have not felt since high school. now it does feel odd to go “i didn’t think this noir was very pleasant >:(“ but miller’s work feels unpleasant and distinct from, say, chandler or hammett in a way i am still having trouble articulating. it is possible that the misogyny in chandler is a flavor i already know and barely register the taste of anymore. it may be that i got tired of looking at miller's women with twelve-inch waists and nipples as full and perky as their mouths.

mostly i think the labor market in sin city is super fucked up. women in sin city exist to have their value extracted from them in a way that is different and worse than normal capitalism. like, i can see how someone would read these comics and go full SWERF. women are literal trophies, both arm candy and in a very upsetting trophy hunting way. especially in the final volume, women are machines of potential profit. aside from one landlady and one cop and one child who grows up to be a prostitute, all the women in this whole city seem to be prostitutes or prostitutes who have married up and out. like there aren’t really even any women on the street just walking or in diners. it’s all dudes.

this is probably a comics vs novels thing, but miller is often sadistic in a way that chandler is not. a guy dies on a page to make cool art. they fuckin mow through dozens of goons a volume. if a guy dies in chandler it’s usually bc chandler's philip marlowe has stumbled across a dead body accident and it becomes a tremendous pain in order to tip off the cops that a body needs retrieving without getting framed for the kill. marlowe (and by extension chandler) is a people person-- he is a detective bc he likes figuring out what makes people tick. he is alert and it's hard to get one over on him but his resting state is congenial. despite his job, he still does believe in the concept of justice.

sin city (more of a comment than a question) says "if people piss you off you should kill them." this is not to make light of the very real Situations that protagonists in sin city find themselves, but there are very few problem solving skills on display other than "apply dick" or "apply gun". VERY RARELY, "apply pussy". that last one almost never works out tho.

aside from All That, it does contain some of the best straight up art (not just comics art) ive ever seen. the command of light and shadow is incredible. the command of negative space is incredible. panels aren’t busy unless they’re showing the chaos of a scene. he doesn't draw every single brick bc that's not important to the scene. it’s really quite stunning.

also the MOVEMENT in this fringe is incredible. do u see what i mean about the nipples tho

again again i say to ye, what if star wars was good? i am slightly terrified that andor may have ruined me for any s/tar wars that follows but by any metric these first three s3 mando eps are simply not good television.

ty @pasta-pardner for gifting me Weird West some weeks ago bc it is the new thing i am obsessed with. this first trailer gives a better sense of the Vibes than the launch trailers imo

i find it is scratching a lot of the rpg itches that new vegas does: you wander around beautiful western settings running into weird shit, followed around by a hot butch you've recruited to your cause. unlike new vegas, it is a little less forgiving and you have to really scrap and loot everything that isn't nailed down.

this is a top-down action rpg with a weird little aiming system that is sort of a 3D twinstick? it takes some getting used to, and shooting is not the part of any game i am particularly good at. here's xbox wire's screenshot, which gives a good idea of how isometric it is and what enemy detection looks like. i do wish i could expand the minimap, bc some of the locations like mines or bigger towns can really sprawl.

i have one big annoyance bc it is a thing that made me take a break and sulk for a bit: as you're traveling across the map (not open world, location-based), you can run into Travel Encounters. you can decline to engage with some of them. you cannot save within or between the encounters unless you stop and make camp. if you're on a long journey to a different corner of the map, you might run into three Travel Encounters. if you die on the third, you are catapulted back to your starting point. this is tremendously annoying in the early game, so either take short trips or get good at about-facing and exiting areas quickly.

a writer i admire likes games that let him tell stories about what happened in the game to other people-- this is a game that very much facilitates that. i was ambushed during a Travel Encounter by the some outlaws, bc i accidentally let one escape while i was trying to collect a bounty on his boss, and that specific named grunt came back with a Vendetta. but! i met a dying outlaw from the band who kidnapped my character's husband in a different second encounter, swapped some bandages for a treasure map, and he is now a Friend for Life. so he showed back up to help me during that ambush AGAINST FELLOW OUTLAWS WHO SEEM TO HAVE SOME SORT OF MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING??? mWAH. DELICIOUS. LOVE SYSTEMS INTEROPERATING.

ive put like six hours into this, and it has five chapters with five different characters. i have not progressed past the first chapter bc i am having so much fun poking around. i am so so so grateful that the first character is a wife seeking revenge and not the other way around. ppl are throwing big baby tantrums in the steam forums about this but you know what? some husbands should be macguffins sometimes. widens their perspective.

i am fascinated by the drips and drabs of lore this game is feeding me. there's an order of witches with huge underground temples that (crucially!) they did not build, but have adopted for their own uses without really understanding who built them and why. i want to know so much more about their whole shit. there are werewolves but idk what their deal is bc i haven't met any yet.

i am a simple woman! i only demand perfect cowboy western-flavored rpgs and so far this is holding up. i will have more thoughts as i go along but goddamn is it fun to play. we truly do love a competent little rpg with interesting lore and good stealth mechanics that lets you loot everything in sight.

made this tuna-chickpea salad for lunch. it is quite rich for a lunch. there are a lot of components that may be challenging to digest all together for a milennial with tummy troubles.

this would have definitely been improved by solid instead of cheap chunk tuna (or salmon. this would be great with canned salmon) and if i actually chopped the baby spinach instead of going "it's fine" and flinging it all in. or maybe wilting the spinach, but that's a lot of extra work and this would be a very warm, wet salad :/ the point is the chickpeas really want to sink to the bottom. i like that there is no cooking involved, only assembling, but realistically i have only half of these ingredients in my house at any given time. screengrabs from the site bc i paid a dollar but there's no reason you have to

Or so you thought.

You were surprised to see a letter hung on the front door as you were about to leave, addressed to you. It could be from no one other than your roommate and close friend, Bakugou–also known as Pro Hero Dynamight.

You grab the letter and start to read it;

I’m only writing you this stupid letter because I know you’ll probably wake up feeling sad today, well not on my watch. Happy Valentine’s Day, baby. And no I’m not about to confess to you or anything gross like that, you’re like a younger sibling to me.

Anyway, I know how badly you want to find a partner in life. Someone you can call your own and have to celebrate on days like these. You tell me any chance you get how lonely you are and how desperate you are to find someone in your life. I get it. Life can get lonely, but you’ll find someone eventually.

Putting this under a read more because it got long af.

God i think part of the reason why im so obsessed with him is the duality of his character and artistic expression. He used to describe himself as conflicted a lot, especially in his earlier interviews and that pretty much hits the nail in the head i think. I love both his music and filthy frank a lot but I wouldn't be so fascinated with the person behind either of these things if they weren't made by the same guy. I just think he is a fascinating character.

What got me into him? I'm honestly pretty late to the party, i stumbled upon slow dancing in the dark on some random playlist at some point mid 2023. Slow dancing in the dark got famous for a reason: its so fucking good, i was playing it on a loop for weeks. Later i stumbled upon pretty boy, once again by pure chance. I was playing it on loop for a looong time as well. I hadn't even noticed that both of these songs were by the same artist at the time.

Fast forward a few months later, someone i follow here on tumblr dot com rebloged a post that expressed ops utter bafflement that filthy frank had turned his career around so dramatically and that he was a "sadboy musician now". The term slursona was thrown around. The ballads 1 album cover was included in the post and i recognised it imediatelly but i also recognised the name filthy frank.

You see, back in the day my older sister was a huge fan. She was really into this era of youtube bless her heart but ff was one of her faves. She had showed me human ramen AND hair cake back then but i was pretty young and I didn't really speak english well enough to fully understand what was going on. Nonetheless, i was morbidly fascinated but i never got into ff myself. Still i knew who he was.

Finding out that i was listening to his music a DECADE later from a random tumblr post gave me the whiplash of my fucking life. I genuinely got so scared i went and removed sditd from my character playlists and spotify liked songs lol. I let that revelation shimmer within me for a few months until one day i finally decided that i should do some research on the matter. I think i watched the slow dancing in the dark mv first and it completely blew me away. Then i watched the weeaboos video and it made me cry from laughter.

Somehow i ended up listening to his entire discography and watching Every Single filthy frank video ever made. At some point i discovered the notorious filthy frank exposes himself video and that once again blew my mind. I realised that he was the one who accidentally started the harlem shake trend back in 2013. Blew my mind. I listened to pink season ans i realised that the help song ive been seeing around since forever was a pink guy song. Blew my mind. I went home for the holidays and i talked to my other sister about my newfound obsession. Turns out she knew him from glimpses of us. Blew her mind too. Talked to my brother, he knew him from glimpses of us as well. We were all screaming about it for a few days.

This whole phase of mine started at some point in March and its only been getting worse. I don't know how we got here but im not complaining.

If i had to choose a favourite song.... sanctuary is my most listened to song of the year so far, so i probably have to go with that but also sditd, you suck Charlie, like you do, pretty boy, yukon, Mr Hollywood, no fun, demons, see you in 40, nightrider, modus (just to name a few)..... they all hold a very special place in my heart... I just love pretty much most of his songs a whole lot.

As for favourite quote im afraid I don't have a super serious answer to this question fjdksdks. "I just wanna make people sad and horny" is a strong one but also "sorry for being An Fag" and "fucking everyone smokes weed in central park...." fascinate me to no end.

I found your blog when I was reaserching sufism since I’m leaning into it and the first thing I saw was your post about fated love which is so crazy because I’m pretty sure I’m on a “twin flame” journey!

Last year I saw a guy I met 7 years ago and that I hated at the time and I got triggered beyond measurement (I minimized it to the fact that I was jealous of his accomplishments) and my life has flipped upside down since then. I’ve healed so much of my trauma & went though a complete ego death and went out to find my callings.

The only thing is that he has been on my mind for a whole year in a fundamental way and I’ve even had crazy lucid dreams about him and i just feel so pathetic at times for spending so much thoughts on a stranger.

When i first prayed to god for answers is when I had my first dream of him the same night as some sort of answer but I’m still confused.

Sorry if this information overload but if you have my more knowledge and advice on the subject I would appreciate so much ❤️

i have been on a twin flame journey for several years now and this is probably going to be a controversial take because i havent heard anybody else express this sort of opinion in the twin flame community (99% of people in that community are absolutely delusional so i refrain from taking part in that sort of thing) i honestly think uniting on the physical plane is probably impossible for many twin flames and i also dont think theyre meant to?

a lot of people confused limerence with twin flame-ness. idk who needs to hear this but the random married person you're obsessed with isnt your twin flame.

in 2022 i met someone who i felt strangely pulled to. he reacted to seeing me like he was struck by lightning and i felt repulsed by him. in 2023, it became this cat and mouse, back and forth kind of thing where it seemed to build into mutual obsession but after interacting with him, i was completely put off by him and felt even disgusted by him but at the same time, i have changed so profoundly as a person from that first encounter and the second encounter that i really cant make sense of it. he instils a sense of desire in me and makes me want to change things and be better for myself yk? he's like the silent voice in my head ngl, everytime i think of doing anything, i have him in mind as my imaginary audience lol. its not in terms of whether or not he would approve but rather in terms of his presence?? feels comforting?? so its nice to have his energy in mind whenever im confronted by something new??

the trauma confrontation, ego death, finding your calling etc are all part of the journey

if you feel yourself slipping into obsessive thoughts, try to focus on prayer, or work or your hobbies because its unhealthy to dwell on such thoughts too much but some minuscule amount of feelings for that person (feelings that are very confusing because it cannot be easily defined) will always linger. i wish them well and hope for the best but right now all i can do is focus on what their energy is doing to me aka undoing my life and making me level up lol and each phase of this journey is unique like that.

in my case, i dont expect to ever unite with him physically. i just dont think its possible tbh but i have a very strong feeling that i will run into him again in a few years and that its part of the journey idk

my advice would be to focus on yourself and not on him but by focusing on yourself, you are healing yourself of what is keeping you in a state where you react negatively to them, ykwim?? dont expect to be with that person, the purpose of a twin flame is to teach you things and help your soul ascend to the next level. union cannot be orchestrated and sometimes god knows best that union is not meant to be in this lifetime. but that does not mean this experience isnt valuable. the experience is what it makes of you. and its vvv easyyy to romanticize a person you dont know very well, just trust that its for the best that youre not with them tbh

not really sure what it's called either now that i think about it. i think i just call it my inbox?? idk haha. i rarely talk about my tumblr with anyone and actually don't even mention i write just to have to avoid explaining what exactly i write is to someone who doesn't know. the only two people who know are two of my best friends <333 love you guys since i know you might see this <3 although i will say mentioning that youre a tumblr writer always seems to kill the convo haha

usually, i work in the order i get them! right now, i've just made it into the beginning of feburary since i just have so many and i don't want people to feel like picking favorite because ultimately, anons are people who enjoyed my content enough to make a requests and i want to see that through, to let them feel that excitement that someone whos work they liked actually wrote their idea! some requests can be kinda hard to do sometimes, so i usually need more time to do those so i have time to dwell on the idea. but sometimes they just click and i have it done in less than twenty minutes! sometimes i do occasionally fast track a request if i'm very inspired or if it really speaks to me!

the amount of requests can get a little overwhelming at times, but it's so heartwarming to know that many people like the content i make. right now i have 77 unwritten i think? one day i'll make it through all of them but i don't think ill ever get back to 0 /pos

in order to continue writing it has to be fun for you!! it for sure should not feel like a job. i used to write back in 2020 because of all the extra time i had on my hands, and i lost the time to keep up, so in 2023, i migrated here to try and pick it up again. i'm a stem major (bio my beloved <3) and it's my passion but it leaves little room to be creative, so this is my outlet! i feel like it's a good way to express yourself if you couldn't otherwise. i was so excited when i got my first request! i still remember it clearly just because of how excited i was. it's fulfilling to make people happy with something as simple as words that came from my silly little brain

honestly i blew up much faster than i ever thought i would so i still feel like im all too new at this tumblr blog thing. i still learn new things about tumblr all the time, such as custom themes on desktop haha. i've had this account and have been writing since march of last year but i didn't really start to pick up steam until january of this year because i started posting daily to try and get through all my waiting requests just to like, explode probably because of the consistent posting, so if you are still interested in writing, for sure take it slow! if it's just for fun, don't worry and actually try not to be too consistent. if you want to grow quickly, consistency is key no matter what schedule you decide on.

if i get rude requests, which has only happened a few times now, i just don't do them because i don't want to reward that kind of behavior, even if the idea is magnificent. for sure lay out rules if you do plan to go ahead with writing. be firm with them! im not great at that lol. also remember that you aren't obligated to at all! you are the one choosing to be here and you only have to do the ones you want, or none if you choose not to take requests. i like them because it gives me ideas i wouldnt have before because it can be kinda hard to come up with original ideas at the pace i would need them for my daily post. but, the pace i move at is very fast and it even scares me sometimes, so that wouldn't be too much of a problem for you if you chose to write

Q: how old are you and where are you from?

well, i'm an 03 liner from puerto rico. this means my first language is spanish, so i apologize in advance for any and all grammar mistakes. i'm only human after all.

Q: who do you currently write for and whom have you written for?

i currently write for enhypen & tomorrow x together only.

i used to write for bts, seventeen, exo and a couple one shots for random groups here and there. they are all accessible through my archive. i have retired these groups from my blog and will not be writing for them anymore.

i still stan and enjoy these groups, however as inspiration comes and goes i would prefer to write about my current hyper fixations.

Q: what pronouns should we use for you?

gender is very weird and sometimes hard to understand but i use she/her primarily.

Q: who are your biases and the groups you stan?

i'm sunghoon's gf ... you can ask him he'll confirm. and i'm yeonjun's baby mama but tbh— i'm ot. 7 and ot. 5.

i stan lots of groups like p1h, ateez, skz, theboyz, new jeans, twice, seventeen, (g)idle, kep1er, le sserafim, and of course exo and bts. probably more that i can't think about right now.

Q: do you have a posting schedule?

i do not, i just write as inspo hits and as requests some in.

i will be posting for member's birthdays and anniversaries while in my active periods.

sometimes i go inactive for long periods of time with school and work.. so i apologize in advance for any i consistency.

to be very honest, cheesy slice of life shameless self insert things.. but i also am really into angst. it's the pain that makes a story so much better... ig i just love to suffer.

i used to, however after a year and a half of being inactive i'm not too sure if they're still around. but i'm always open having anons/mutuals or usual requesters or whatever you guys wanna call yourselves.

Q: is there anything you're not comfortable writing?

i don't have any hard triggers. i actually really like stories with harsher more dark topics. like i said earlier i love angst and slice of life fics and life isnt always sunshine and rainbows... and well that's perfectly okay!

sometimes i have requests about things i am not too extremely familiar with... if i do not know much about something i try to research before writing it. if even after research i don't understand it well i will not be writing it.

i will not write smut. this is not a smut account and i will not be making a side blog for smut. i just personally don't think i could write it. plus thats just not what i want this blog to be. there are lots of very good smut writers out there please check them out if thats what you're looking for.

i will also not be writing anything glorifying things like self harm, suicide, eating disorders, and other extremely serious mental health issues or health issues im general.

i will also not write anything i deem to be insensitive, offensive, or creepy.

Q: is there anything you wish to write more about?

i wish to write a lot more for enhypen in this upcoming year. and hopefully dive into some supernatural topics with them especially because of their vampire concept.

i want to write much longer fics, and further improve my fic/drabble/oneshot writing skills so lets see how it plays out!

Stereo and Flaqky's relationship isn't mostly about fvcking, sometimes they spend quality time together as besties.

regarding how ruthless Ste (and sometimes Reo) are, they would NEVER hurt or eat a child, intentionally or unintentionally.

^ as an opposite, as Flaqky is blind and constantly too sad to even fight, she can and will hurt or eat a child, intentionally or unintentionally.

the reason we barely see Wander is because he's mostly helping people back at his universe with Stereo's portals instead of using an orbble now.

as of 2023, Stereo HAS told someone to uhm, keys without the e 3 times and hasn't been cancelled, but Boxxie said it once and got cancelled.

Ste's lustful personality masks his drippy, sad, and heartbroken interior.

whenever Ste or Reo get mad, they turn into FIRE.

^ as a follow-up, whenever they're sad, they js turn into WATER.

Boxxie is the only one who doesn't chase a laser pointer whenever she sees (or hears in Flaqky's case) it.

The Squad canonically has multiple pets (two otters named Gordie and Jean-Jaques, a silly three headed dog named Cerberus and 50 cats named after sauces and spices and other substances) and wild animals chilling at their base.

Stereo and Boxxie once teamed up to kill someone after seeing a fanfic of them kissing. (guys im sorry i thought this one was funny)

the ENTIRE Squad is aware that there are multiple versions of them in different universes.

3 members of The Squad have been jokingly called the Mythicals (due to the thing about Boxxie playing trombone, Flaqky being a bassoonist, (she STILL can't spell) and Stereo being a vocalist (basically Strombonin, G'joob, and Yawstrich)

there's a Helluva Boss universe of The Squad. (as in Stereo being Stolas, Flaqky being Blitzø, Etno being uh.. STELLA.. Boxxie being Moxxie (as a joke since Boxxie is js Moxxie but the M is replaced with a B, and Boxxie is an angel while Moxxie is uh, an IMP. and Wander as Millie)

^ i forgot to add Salt and Pepper and also Splendoes because i forgot they existed plus they're both my OCs and they barely count as TS members. (in common with Etno.) but Splendoes, although a 2 year old, would be Loona since she canonically IS adopted by Flaqky.

^ as a follow-up Salt and Pepper would probably be Octavia due to being Stereo's kid.

opinions on next year's new driver pairings (assuming liam gets the rb seat):

mercedes 1263: !!!!!!!!!!!!! soooo so excited i think this will be so much fun. love that they are both comical stereotypes of their respective countries i think this is a genuinely really solid dynamic and im really looking forward to it. i dont know im kind of starting to feel like lewis leaving is maybe the only way for mercedes to be able to move on from 2021/22 and i think this duo is optimistic and also determined and hard working in a way the team really needs to revitalize itself

ferrari 1644: this scares me. like the actual interpersonal dynamic i think is completely fine i think they respect each other a lot and are at such different stages in their careers that it circumvents a lot of the ... current ferrari teammate issues but the fanbases. you know. you get it. sigh. its not gonna be pretty

rb 2230: technically not new but still fairly nascent anyway i think these guys are going to kill each other genuinely. like in the past they got away with being compared more to dr3 than each other but now it's direct competition for a seat that frankly i dont think either of them deserve and they are both incredibly incredibly competitive and volatile i only see this getting worse

haas 3187: everyones catastrophizing about this but i think itll be fine honestly. maybe im wrong but ive never seen the 31 everyone makes jokes about outside like brief flashes at monaco. honestly i see this being very similar to the sauber 2018 lineup like it doesnt even make sense to compare their perfomance theyre getting completely different things out of being here at this stage in their respective careers. do we think ollie knows who sidney crosby is or

williams 2355: Everyone here is just going to be miserable for as long as this lasts. i think 55 is a total soul suck of a person who is completely incompatible with anything jv is trying to achieve but i also dont think jv knows what he wants anymore and i think 23 got promised a lot of things that are no longer feasible. this is just bad all around

alpine 710: this is gonna be really fun i think and this is 100% my bias towards jd7 but these are both fun chill guys who can separate the on-track stuff from their actual relationship in my opinion. alpine's still rebuilding and the stakes are pretty low they just need two reliable drivers to not completely waste the budget on stupid crashes also i just think these guys will have fun being goofy together

It's been a minute. just wanna jot.

hey.

I'm listening to iichliwp by halsey but it's on the lighthouse, and this isn't the energy I wanted to write to. i'm gonna stall until it's over.

I come here when things are bad. or really good? maybe? or perhaps just when i'm feeling nostalgic. a lot has changed since I was last here. in january, I returned with a vengeance. hurt and betrayal I had only felt once before filled my bloodstream and I avenged the girl who was ripped apart years before. it's been nine months and selfishly, I had no regrets. I do have other ones though.

I wrote this the other night when I was in williamsburg:

9.3.24 - 10:28 I love williamsburg. it reminds me a lot of you. it’s not a bad thing, just a sad thing. I always knew a lot of things I never told you because I was selfish. I loved how it felt in the beginning. how special we felt. i felt like a socialite in a lot of ways. we got in everywhere. you were confident and cool. everyone loved us together. I spoke another language with you - it wasnt me, it wasnt you, but its how we understood each other- and eventually didnt.  im standing here at metropolitan waiting for my train home to manhattan. we used to get ramen sometimes, near the end. your apartment was such a safe space for me. its a place where I could turn my brain off and smell you and feel you love me and could let my love for you overwhelm my senses. my common sense. I wanted to believe we were more than I knew we were. I never saw the future that you did and I’m sorry for not telling you sooner. it was so selfish. I just loved what we were so much. it’s fucked up and i wish I had ended it sooner for your sake, honestly. we’re just so different.  I know when I see you out that there’s nothing we could say to each other that would make anything better. you seem to be thriving, getting everything you want, and i couldn’t be happier and more proud. I honestly always felt like I was holding you back and i'm glad to see you reaching your full potential now.

It's weird, the aftermath of a relationship you knew was temporary. unfollowing is sad, but why would he stay? so he can stick around to see me and the guy I told him not to worry about? I hate how that's the "tldr" of it all. I hate that I did the thing that's hurt me before. but then I have to remind myself, if I was truly happy with him then three days with sam wouldn't have changed anything. but they changed everything.

there's nothing we could even talk about if we tried. he's doing everything I watched him to do his exes. i look at him on purpose, he accidentally looks at me and immediately averts his gaze.

It's odd to remember at the end of this summer that we spent the last one being practically inseparable. and now we'll probably never speak to each other again? that's so sad to think about. but again, what would we say. I wish we could be friendly. I wish there was a way I could still support him, but I feel like I hurt him too much. and then, I forget that he hurt me too. I forget how much every second near the end hurt.

I said everything I needed to in the last texts I sent him. the only things I wish he knew were that I never thought things with sam would end up here. i'm happy they have, beyond so. but I don't want him to think I was lying about our friendship at the time. and I guess the other thing I'd want him to know, or whatever, is that I wish we could be nice and cordial and friendly to each other when we see each other. I wish I could go to his sets sometimes. I wish we could smile at each other, even if it's sadly. I still feel a lot of anger towards him sometimes, but I also feel sadness, and also appreciation for what we had. but i'm not the only person feeling things. I don't know what he's feeling, but I know based on today that he officially wants nothing to do with me, which is a pretty clear sign. so i'll keep not saying anything. if I see him I won't outright ignore him, i'll leave that up to him. he did mean a lot to me. and last year was wonderful in a lot of ways. I just felt majorly unheard, and was scared, and acted selfishly at times.

he deserves success and happiness. I hope he learned some things about himself in all of this too.

i don’t think i am a good person. noah essentially ended up thinking i was insane and dustin couldn’t deal w me and this guy absolutely cannot either. i’m giving it like one month. i don’t even know if i like him. i don’t think i ever actually liked anyone except dustin. like i actually cared abt whether he did well or if he was happy. i obviously care what all of them think of me but i truly don’t think idk. i think i ruin every good thing that happens to me and i only attract ruined things . there is no way that this man is ever gonna actually ask me to be his gf or tell me he loves me and honestly that’s probably better. the thing is if he said it idk what i’d do. i don’t think i’ve ever meant it except for dustin but we never even said it. i knew him for a year and he still was a good person. other than being a lying scumbag. maybe i just bring out the worst in ppl. i cant fathom making it past 20. i don’t think i have the energy for it. and christ im mentally ill. i’m writing all of this because he left me on read because i got mad because i lied. truly scum of the earth . i don’t understand why i can’t just be happy and stable and normal and successful and nice. like what the fuck is the point ok im becoming edgy nvm -----

OUGH so many things happened this year. it was. a lot. some bad. but also lots of good!!

things i've done in 2023:

- played p3+p4: some of my favorite games of all time!!! i love you persona!!!!!

- started writing fics: ive published more than 30k words since i started, and have AT LEAST 5k scattered across various wips/ufos. which is!! thats a lot of writing for someone who only did academic stuff for the last couple of years!!!! and it feels especially good since i haven't been able to draw or make music so im glad i was able to find another creative outlet and build new(/different?) writing skills :)

- lost my job :(( but found a better COOLER job!!!

- played ghost trick: GO PLAY GHOST TRICK RIGHT NOW!!! please 🥺 best game of all time i will shill it forever

- one piece: i would kill for monkey d. luffy. that is all. haha just kidding i love you one piece thank you for the joy and whimsy youve brought into my life lets keep it up 💪💪💪 lets stay silly and work to overthrow corrupt systems and stop injustices in our world 🔥🔥

- got a surgery ive been planning on for a long time and it!! went well?? which!! yay!!! ill be officially out of recovery in a few days and its :^) nice

- also i graduated therapy for the first time ever!!! it was nice actually having closure and 'ending' the relationship on a positive note, not just being thrown to the dogs in the middle of treatment

things it would be cool to do in 2024:

- travel, even if its just a day trip. literally i've only traveled to visit my family since covid started in 2020. i need to see the ocean soon or ill die

- try revisiting the p2 duology !!! i miss my kids 😔😔 and the music 😔😔 and persona in general and since im abstaining from p3re id like to do something to 'make up for it'

- start playing bass again!!!!

- maybe start up art again?? idk :// as much as i want to get back into it, i have so much difficulty transferring what i see in my mind to the page that a lot of times it more frustrating than anything but it might be worth a shot

- read dungeon meshi

- read dandandan (+ watch the anime if i like it!!)

- write more fics!!!! hopefully i will finish my vinsmoke-centric series!!! id say finish my law series too but that might never happen since i cant shut up abt this guy lmao. and i still want to write more persona!!! so many ideas AND so much time!!!!! no need to rush!! just gotta keep chipping away!!! and trying new things!!!!!
