Because I apparently think it's better to learn like 4 languages a very little bit instead of being actually fluent in 1 other one.... I downloaded an app for thai. ...I'd been telling myself not to bother cuz I feel I will struggle very badly with the tonal aspects but... at least memorizing an alphabet to kinda read is easier? Maybe?

#sigh... it took a fixation with a particular group to finally motivate #i was to be able to half read subtitles so i can crochet or something like i can almost do with korean #i can mostly understand the casual parts of kdramas so i guess thats my goal with thai?#i also wanna get more familiar with thai culture #im picking things up here and there but im still woefully ignorant #but im so nervous about trying to learn a tonal language it seems so hard 😭
