hi hii, im honestly a little curious of this particular prompt but how would the bofurin boys(any of your choosing) + togame and/or chijo, tried a period cramp simulator? Prompted by their s/o or just to see their pain tolerance

Toma Hiiragi

He would be a little unsure and hesitant to try it, aware of how painful it could get. He had his stomach aches already and they brought him some agony, he knew it wouldn't be comparable to the period cramps but damn he didn't really expect that.

The first few settings were quite easy, a little biting pain that he could easily take but when you put the simulation's power higher and higher he bent in half and hissed while holding his stomach.

"Oh shoot, and people live with that." He tried not to curse as he bit his lip trying to hold on to the pain and straighten himself.

He sent you a look of disbelief and respect, he couldn't believe you went through that every month. He got to know how hard it could be to function for you and from now on he was always carrying not only his medicine but also some pain relief for the cramps as well.

Surprisingly he took the most pain, going to the highest level on the simulator. Maybe he was toughened because of his frequent stomach pains.

Jo Togame

He always thought you were joking when you squirmed during your period. Even then, he did try to comply with your wishes and get you whatever it was you needed. He just wasn't convinced it could be so hurtful that you weren't able to move from your bed.

Yet, as soon as he felt the machine start he believed you. The pain went through his body making his leg cramp and he tightened his hold around his thigh as you turned up the level.

"Fuck, it hurts like hell." He groaned out through his gritted teeth.

You sent him a smirk saying 'told you so' and he just glared at you as you sat there with a wide grin watching him suffering.

He made it to the max level just to make sure you wouldn't tease him later on and to be able to truly understand your struggles. After all this pain he would let you lay in bed all the time you needed.

Taiga Tsugeura

He thought that because of his daily training, he might not feel much pain. He had some cramps as effect of exercising but when it came to using the sim he was shocked that it hurt him so much.

His abdominal muscles never pained that much and although he tried not to let it show, he couldn't hide the dismay painting on his face. When he deemed that he wasn't really able to go all the way to the max level you turn the simulator off and he sighed in relief.

"Your pain tolerance must be way higher than mine." Because of the test, he found a new wave of appreciation and amazement in your pain acceptance levels. The prince(ss) treatment he already gave you doubled if it was possible whenever you had a period.

Choji Tomiyama

Similar to Taiga but not really.

Honestly, he would think that it wouldn't be that hard because he fought and was somehow resistant to the pain. He would think it would be easy but surprisingly he twisted and squirmed as soon as you put it on.

When the power reached halfway he couldn't believe you took it all on a monthly basis. He was talking and talking about how much it hurt and how was it possible that something like period really existed and hurt like hell. He thought that yapping away would help him take all this but it didn't he was squirming on the couch kicking his legs around.

You stopped because you saw that he couldn't take it, and honestly, all his talking was getting to you.

"We're gonna do it again." He said confirming that he would like to try again after some time. Because he couldn't let you be the only one to feel this level of pain.

Akihiko Nirei

He was scared to try it but you said that he could stop whenever he felt like it and that you really didn't want to hurt him and it was alright.

When he finally agreed and you started he yelped as soon as the first electric wave was sent. Just a few levels later he knew it was already his limit. He really wasn't used to this and he couldn't imagine you experiencing such pain and function.

He kicked out his leg and crumbled to the ground in pain. You decided to stop it because you couldn't watch him hurt anymore. He had tears in his eyes because of the pain and started apologizing to you for what you felt.

"Are you feeling well? I've got your preferred meds here." He had a whole ass kit for period with everything that you might need including some medicine that should help with the pain.

daryl sees you and automatically assumes youre the quiet type- a lone wolf even. you dressed in dark colors and occasionally band tees(which he had no clue of), towered over almost everyone, wore your dark hair long, and didnt warm up to many people. he doesnt go out of his way to talk to you, until youve come up to him.

"y'wanna go on a run with me?" hes staring up at you in disbelief, turning his head left and right in search of backup. youve practically cornered him on the streets of alexandria, big pleading eyes staring at him.

"yeah!" youre nodding a bit too enthusiastically for his liking, "its just... im looking for some parts. my guitars broken, so. but i wont be in the way, i promise!"

he scoffs, and doesnt believe you for a second. but the next morning, hes taken you and one car.

he realizes that every assumption hes made about you is 100% wrong. hes always categorized you as emo in his head, but you were quick to inform him the differences between being emo and being a metalhead. hes quiet for most of the ride, but surprisingly asks you a few questions here and there. his second assumption is that you were quiet. jesus, you could talk his ear off. but in a good way he thinks.

the run is unsuccessful, but daryl gifts you a little pin with a guitar on it. youre enveloping him in a hug, and hes reluctant to return it.

back at home, he pays more attention to you. he gets defensive whenever someone makes a judgmental remark about you, claiming that you're different than what everyone thinks. carol teases him about it: "didnt realize you knew him so well." and yeah. maybe he did. maybe he wanted to. "so what?"

he finds himself coming around to your house more often, letting you teach him how to make dinner and listen to you play(he found your missing part on a run with rick). he enjoys it more than he thought he would, and you joke around and say hes halfway to being a metalhead like you.

"youve already got the hair down." hes sat down at the couch, and youre coming around to sit next to him, a hand reaching out to feel his hair. "we're basically twins."

he huffs, turning away to hide his blush. "it aint like that. just grew out over time."

"well good. i like it."

hes grown attached to you, always spending his free time with you. that also means hes grown protective of you. he constantly lectures you on how you shouldnt just let people say whatever they wanted about you- and that if you wouldnt step up, he will.

you take in a stray cat, and daryl practically has a heart attack seeing how gentle you are with it, pampering it and laying it against daryls chest.

he lets you do stupid shit to him all the time, like dress him up in your clothes or do some light makeup on him. to show your appreciation, you gave him a kiss on the cheek. he freaks the fuck out and has to get carols advice.

your first kiss is all thanks to your lighter: its just you two outside the walls, and hes forgotten his own. youre leaning in close, the fire right underneath the cigarette. your hand is quick to steal it from his mouth, fingers brushing against his mouth. before you can blow the smoke out, hes on his tippy toes and leaning in. the way the smoke blows into his own mouth is the hottest thing youve ever seen.

this drawing was a pain in the ASS to make for some reason?? my first go at him was way too close to canon for my liking so i threw myself out there n got to a place i liked thankfully, plus halfway through i forgot how to draw hands and almost cried (joking) cause i thought i had them down at this point!!!!— but trust me, even if you have 9 years of art experience (like me unfortunately. someone take me out i’ve had a good life) ur gonna forget the basics sometimes. warm yourself up and try again cause i did and i eventually remembered 😭😭😭

doing these character studies and drawings have seriously improved my way and process of drawing faces which is so nice 🥲 i think i just need to start looking at the bigger picture again so i don’t forget how to draw everything else. like hands. or full bodies. foreshadowing ;)

Last book: 😅 I've been struggling through Nein Eyes of Lucien for a while.... more honestly its Call of the Netherdeep and Explorers Guide to Wildemount. I truely read far more fanfic than anything else.

Last movie: I watched Night at the Museum for the first time this week. It was waaaaaay better than I ever imagined. I knew it was good and funny. It was also incredibly sincere and I can't get enough of that.

Last show: speaking of sincere, I'm about halfway through Frieren: beyond journey's end. And holy shit! I have never seen any media with a character who views and interacts with death the way i do. Its pretty heavy as shows go but its trustworthy. (I have a hard time with new stuff most of the time. Cr is one exception and this is too apparently)

Sweet/spicy/savory: no joke I've eaten salt before lol. But i prefer combos or all 3. Sweet spicy is underrated.

Relationship status: I live with my queer platonic partner. Its still just buckwild to me. As a kid i hated the idea of living with a partner cuz i didnt want so many aspects of what i was told that looked like. But hey guess what, y'all can decide what your relationships look like. We have separate rooms, are not sexually involved, rarely even touch tbh. And we love each other very much and want to grow old together in a house with cats.

They're touch averse and I'm sensory seeking. My fun Sunday night (out dancing) is their nightmare. But because we are who we are and how we understand and communicate in our relationship we rely on each other for only things that are available. I'll tell them all the dumb shit i see and do on Grindr and we'll sit on the couch and knit together.

Also my brain nearly explodes everytime I realize not only do we do couple stuff, we have couple friends we do couple stuff with. 18 year old me would have never believed you if you told them.

Last thing I looked up: I looked up the caffeine content of the thai tea concentrate I got my partner to see if i could try it. And shockingly i should be able to. Still gonna eat first and be careful though.

Current obsession: I'm pretty spread out rn, unusually. Ive got a sweater im excited about. And I'm on my 3rd attempt at a dorym water bottle sleeve I'm designing. This one should work now. Honestly dorym is probably no. 1 on my list. I shipped that back in exu, along with a bunch of stuff cuz I'm a delightful multishipper. So i feel particularly excited about dorym finally taking off. But also that while dorian was always looking to orym if anything else had come along he was there for the ride. I love robbie so so much. He is such a good character storyteller!

Looking forward to: today im hanging with 2 friends im usually in a larger group with so thats gonna be fun. Looking forward to baking off the beef wellingtons i made for my partner for xmas. And im looking forward to being able to work full time again in the new year. Ive been on part time for health reasons and stayed because i was spending hours on the phone fighting for insurance coverage. Now that both a done i can work more. I love my job and its a particular kind of boredom that i get when i cant work. Lol speaking of, im looking forward to the holidays being over. The office closures normally screw us but now im only working thurs fri for the next 2 weeks and I'll have try really hard to keep busy enough. At least my partner has 2 of the days off with me!

The first time you heard about Nagi’s “hustle,” you were lounging in his makeshift office, which, in reality, was just the couch in the back room of O Block’s bodega. You were halfway through a soda (that probably wasn’t paid for) when Nagi, with his usual lazy energy, leaned over to show you his latest "business venture."

“Got a new plan,” Nagi muttered, tapping on his phone with that sleepy intensity he always had when it came to his latest schemes.

You glanced up, not surprised but mildly concerned. “Okay, hit me. What is it this time? Stealing cars? Reselling sneakers?”

Nagi shrugged, unfazed by your skepticism. “Nope. Something easier.”

You raised an eyebrow. “Oh? Let me guess—digital ramen?”

“Better,” he said, a hint of smugness creeping into his voice. “NFTs.”

You blinked at him. “NFTs?”

“Yeah,” Nagi said, not really explaining but still flipping his phone around to show you a badly photoshopped graphic. It was a pixelated image of a brick, with the words “EXCLUSIVE GANG NFT” plastered across it. “Art. But, like...gangster art.”

You stared at it for a long beat. “This is a joke, right?”

“Nope,” Nagi replied, popping a Pocky stick into his mouth and leaning back as though he just invented the next big thing.

“People are gonna pay for this?” you asked, half-laughing, half-dying inside.

“Mm-hmm,” Nagi said lazily. “It’s a status thing. Only a few available. Like limited edition.”

You shook your head. “Okay, but...where are you even gonna sell them?”

Reo appeared from behind the shelves, holding a stack of flyers. “I got the marketing down,” he said, flashing a grin that screamed “I’m ready to make this an empire.”

Somehow, against all logic and reason, Nagi’s “gang NFT” scheme started to take off.

It all started when Reo started printing flyers that were handed out in random alleyways, on street corners, and honestly, anywhere people gathered in O Block. The flyer promised “Exclusive Gang NFT Drops” with a link to Nagi’s barely functional website. And to your absolute disbelief, people actually started buying them.

“See?” Nagi said as he showed you his phone, where the sales notifications kept popping up. “Easy money.”

“But... it’s just a picture of a brick,” you said, still not sure if you were in a fever dream.

“It’s a rare brick,” he deadpanned. “You wouldn’t understand.”

You groaned, but to be fair, there were actual sales happening. Nagi’s “gang art” was going viral within O Block, which meant he was making enough cash to fund his endless supply of snacks.

As the days passed, things started getting too crazy. Not just the sales, but the sudden influx of people trying to resell their “Nagi NFTs” for triple the price. It started to get out of hand, and that’s when things got tense.

One evening, you were sitting outside, watching the usual chaos of O Block unfold in front of you, when Reo came running over, looking like he’d just seen a ghost.

“Nagi, bro,” Reo said, out of breath. “People are flipping your NFTs for crazy prices. The whole block’s buying in. We might’ve started a real trend.”

Nagi blinked slowly. “So... they’re all dumb?”

Reo didn’t even answer. “There’s a bidding war going on for your NFTs. Everyone wants a piece. You need to act fast before someone catches on that this is... well, just a scam.”

Nagi didn’t seem phased at all. “Nah, we’re fine. I’m in too deep to care now. Just keep selling.”

But as the “gangster NFTs” started circulating beyond O Block, the word got out. And as you would expect, other “gangs” started trying to get in on the action. Nagi didn’t even realize he’d become part of a much bigger problem until he was suddenly dealing with rival groups, trying to snatch up his idea for themselves.

“That’s it, Nagi,” you said, standing in the middle of O Block one evening as a few guys from other areas tried to buy out the rights to his NFTs. “This is too much. They’re gonna think we’re messing with them. You need to stop.”

But Nagi just yawned, unfazed by the growing tension. “Nah. We’ve got this.”

He was completely out of touch with reality—until it all went south.

Everything came crashing down one night when a local rival gang, who had been watching Nagi’s “NFT empire” rise, decided to “invite” him to a little chat about copyright and street-level royalties.

You were right beside him when the whole situation turned ugly. A couple of guys walked up to him in the middle of a street corner, all muscle and attitude.

“You’re the one with the NFTs, huh?” one of them asked, crossing his arms.

Nagi didn’t even look up from his phone. “Yeah, that’s me.”

“You know, that’s our turf, right?” another guy said, taking a step forward. “We don’t like you messing with our territory.”

Nagi’s reply was a nonchalant shrug. “It’s just art, man. Chill.”

“Art?” The guy sneered. “You’re making money off of our turf, and you think it’s just ‘art’? You got some nerve.”

You could see it escalating, but Nagi wasn’t even remotely worried. “Well, too bad. You can’t stop the hustle.”

And just like that, the situation flipped into full-blown chaos. The other gang made a move to intimidate him, but Nagi just lazily sidestepped them, clearly not phased by the tension. You, however, weren’t in the mood to get caught in the crossfire.

“Let’s go, Nagi,” you said, pulling on his sleeve. “This isn’t worth it.”

Nagi gave you a sidelong glance, looking completely unbothered. “You’re right. I can just make more NFTs tomorrow.”

The next day, you found Nagi lounging on his couch, no worse for wear. He had somehow managed to avoid any real damage, and his “NFT empire” had taken a hit, but he didn’t care. He was already onto his next lazy plan.

“Well, that was an adventure,” you sighed, sitting down next to him. “So, what now?”

“Eh, I think I’ll stick to real art next time,” he said, yawning. “Maybe a picture of a pizza or something.”

You couldn’t help but laugh, shaking your head. “You’re unbelievable.”

“Yep. And I’m still making money. Wanna help me with the next one?”

You groaned, slapping his arm. “No way. I’m done with your schemes, Nagi.”

“Too late,” he grinned. “We’re partners.”

You rolled your eyes, knowing that somehow, you were already too deep in his world to back out now.

the entire time you two are golfing, trevor and you are cracking jokes and messing with each other

about halfway through the game i feel like trevor takes a big leap of faith and starts to whisper sweet nothings in your ear

"y/n, you look really cute in that little skirt. i think it would look nicer on the floor of your room tonight.", "it's taking everything in me to not kiss you right now. you are so beautiful. have i ever told you that?", "i don't know what changed this summer, but i think im starting to like you."

after what felt like forever, you finally look up at trevor and he's already looking down at you

Some problems i had with the finale in hazbin hotel

now before i start i just wanna say that i absolutely love and adore this show with all of my heart but with that being said i can still recognize its flaws and god does it have some

lets get one of the most obvious things out of the way first. charlie did literally nothing. she hit adam once or twice and he beat the shti out of her which was just a dumb excuse to have lucifer show up nad beat the shit out of him.

but more on that later. charlie is the main character and she only gets the motivation to go full 'god mode' when sir pentious dies? even then she didnt do anything. dazzle ends up dying but oh well its fine (or razzle i cant remember). she stabs adam once and even then he beats her up more than anything. hes powerful yes but charlie couldve put up more of a fight

she even has a song in episode 7 about taking charge but honestly... she doesnt really do that. actually sir pentious had a better arc than her and we hardly see him throughout the entire show

sir pentious' death was fine we see him gearing up and it was kinda leading onto the big scene where he would take on adam but...

bro got obliterated in less than like a second and then adam made a joke off of it. tbh at this moment i started laughing so hard because goddamn was it hilarious but then you have charlie and the hotel mourning it like not even five seconds after- like half a second after the joke.

the tonal whiplash of that scene was just... ugh-

like i didnt care about it being serious because guess what? im already laughing at the joke like everything that i cared for about him just thrown into the gutter because guess what? haha funny :)

but for that to be what makes charlie go into her full form still makes me mad- ugh

adams death was fine. he was killed by nifty so like- okay i guess. honestly i didnt really care for it. it was funny but then ONCE AGAIN you have lute cry over him and actually i cared more for that than nifty-

dont get me wrong its funny asf but... nifty? they treated both of what was meant to be serious deaths in this show as a goddamn joke and expect me to not call them out on it? like okay nifty shes a funny character but her killing adam just made me go though 3 different stages in the span of like- five seconds

oh yeah and pentious would be alive, but no they needed him to die to show that the hotel works so why not just hold him off.

this whole trip fucking sucks. i sound like a brat because i came all the way out here and whatnot but ive listened to my mom berate me for three days about how if i don’t get this right she’s gonna send me away to camp, she’s been complaining about how much of a brat i am i. public to her fucking friends. her friends ask me about college and she turns it into something about how my goddamn brother is going to an ivy league bad how hard HE worked and how hard HE’S working and how amazing and incredible HE is when it was a conversation about me. it’s sounds stupid and bitchy be had ei don’t deserve a conversation about me but it’s SO FUCKING OBNOXIOUS because the only things she says about me are about how much I “hate her” or how much of a “dependent brat who never helps out around the house” i am. and god forbid i tell her i feel like shit it’s “well you’re eating so you’re fine and you better not be sick because it’ll ruin MY week next week when we go off on our planned annual family vacation” and i’m just so fed up with everything. she yells at me and berates me all the time. u miss my dad. my dad listens to me and he lets me rattle on about whatever i want. he doesn’t judge me and he helps me out and my mom calls him an enabler because of this. i had a mental breakdown in the bathroom because i was given the wrong time for choir rehearsal which i don’t wanna go to because my vocal cords feel like they’re being ripped out. but im eating so im fine. i told her i was coming back to the room because it was gonna be halfway over when i arrived and she gives me the cold shoulder over text so now im sitting in the lobby like an idiot because she’s gonna yell at me when i get back. so um lying and saying i managed to catch the last bit. i know im being a pussy because gentle parenting doesn’t get you anywhere na smh mom is joking about beating my ass if i don’t socialize even though i feel like i was wrung through the meat grinder and there’s covid going around and i haven’t been able to do anything i want since regents, which sounds even more bratty. i miss my dad and he’s leaving the day i get home so im stuck alone with her for another few days. it makes me miserable and i genuinely just feel like shit right now. i can’t do anything right and if i have to socialize any more than i have been i’m going to fucking hang myself. she tells me she’s “pushing me out of my comfort zone” but honestly my comfort zone is maybe having a few hours of socializing. she’s been forcing me into all these things she signed me up for and i didn’t even know i was doing until she tells me to get out or whatever. it’s so annoying. i can’t fucking do it anymore.

so here are some thoughts about DMD Friendship the Reality while we are nearing the end

yeah yeah its not that deep but actually no one caring/talking about a show makes me want to write a LONG ASS POST bc i cant get gratification from going through the tags and reading opinions lmaoooooo so HERE damn okkk i will make the content i want to see in the world i guess dont mind me......😞

im not even the biggest Domundi fan but i was intrigued by the premise of this show. i mean it's a basically fake dating show (like one of their challenge rewards was getting to sleep in a suite together as if they are there to date for real) and the end prize isnt just an acting opportunity as it comes w the big decision of choosing a looooooong time acting partner. so i wanted to see how they would do it. BOC did a similar thing w The Hidden Character which i dropped halfway in bc it was too long and i found the challenges to be irrelevant to the ending goal. this show is the opposite of that and thats why ive been enjoying it.

it is edited to be concise (only 5 eps) and honestly, is quite tranquil. all the challenges were about things they will be required to do in the future as DMD actors/idols and stakes aren't even that high. You could always guess who would win before they even started (((like of course broody model guys won the photoshoot challenge and guy w two series under his belt won the acting one, DUH))) but it was still enjoyable to watch. show's goal isn't to generate tension and competitiveness. it is more of a workshop/chemistry building camp and also a way to introduce the new generation and get the fans warm up/attached to them.

as i spent time in bl fandom sphere, i've come to realize introducing a new gen is tricky. i thought everyone would be ecstatic to see new blood and a lil bit of mix and match but BL fans are reaaaaaaaaaaally attached to their faves and generally see newcomers as threats who will take opportunities from their already neglected (!) precious babies (e.g. just couple weeks ago FortPeat fans were protesting the new lesbian side couple in the upcoming show for stealing screen time from their faves, which is a joke in itself). this kind of show is genius way to get people to warm up to idea of new faces. at the end of the the day, these fans' weakness is two beautiful boys indulging in sweet moments they can be delulu over and considering how ships were already born from the first episode, DMD FTR succeeded in their goal.

LETS TALK ABOUT THE BOYS :-) *this starts playing*

I had to make this during first ep bc they are all dark haired boys w similar builds so I kept confusing them lmaoooooo (Tle not pictured as he joined later)

i will firstly talk about the fan favorite possible "couples";

KengNamping, the quiet visual couple and yes I love em!!!! they were kinda the only "conflict" in this very conflict free competition.

is Keng the CALMEST person I've ever seen? Latte is laid back too but Keng is just seems zen. sometimes (in the face of conflict) he just seemed hard to read but mostly he has such a calming presence. honestly, he should open an ASMR channel if this acting gig doesn't work out.

Namping also comes off very warm and graceful. him being "wow I'm finally in the winner suite" to Keng after finally getting chosen in ep4 made me laugh like DAMN he really was offended by what happened in ep1 and kept letting it slip. Idc, you are so right my prince and don't ever let Keng forget what he did to you...

when it comes to the possibility of them as a couple: i am kinda here for it while also not knowing if i actually believe in their "moments" in the show? Namping definitely set his sights on him from the beginning but Keng seemed nonchalant about it. Keng finally choosing Namping after his win, their sweet moment on the bed etc. seemed to me like classic reality show moment prompted by production to fit a certain narrative WHILE ThomasKong's pseudo-date-night chats seemed very real and spontaneous.

they do visually have chemistry, i'm not gonna act like i wasn't blushing when Keng trying to flirt during dinner or Namping softly touching a sleepy Keng's chin in the bed etc. Or even in ep2, when Namping tries to confront Keng about his pick but they are too timid and just unable to talk about it openly!!! arrghhh it's a hard to watch moment but still, made them more intriguing because they had such a tension between them. it would be a shame if it wasn't explored more. that tension can be channeled into an angsty series, just saying...

So, they def have a long way to go in their bond and arent comfortable like LatteFirst or ThomasKong but still, they are a strong contender and I would be glad to see them as a couple in a show. Namping already got my attention in the acting challenge and wonders can be achieved w a lil bit of workshop. they got the juice already!!!

Now, lets talk about ThomasKong.............

so I knew LatteFirst are set be a side couple in upcoming Love Upon a Time but i was confused to see why everyone on Twitter was already going cuckoo over these two random boys until i saw them interacting... Wow, like Thomas really came here w one mission: get Kong and leave.

because Thomas is such a flirt like DAMNNN😳😳😳😳he needs to be jailed for carrying lethal amounts of charm... IT MUST BE SAID: I love his fits w those thin glasses, he should've been wearing those in those office BLs he was in because he has been serving "office siren". Tiktok girlies eat your heart out.

while Kong isn't the best at acting or singing (he is the best KengNamping shipper tho and i LOVE a fudanshi BL actor), he definitely would win Mr. Congeniality if they were giving that title. he naturally and effortlessly has great on screen charisma. he is a certified cutie and the only one who can get real full belly laughs from Thomas!!!

i think what they managed in the acting challenge is the testament to their palpable chemistry. acting wise they weren't perfect (naturally, their uneven acting experience levels were apparent) but they were the only one who managed to tonal shift in their scenes. it's because they were the only ones who played into the romantic subtext of the scene. they also held eye contact for the longest (because they are comfortable w each other and not shy!!!), which elevated their chemistry and made me AND the judges giggle and roll our hair and kick our feet and shit!!!!!!!!!!!!

they are obviously the most likely to win the show and they deserve it too. no matter the result of the show, i want see them carrying a series as mains because they can and should. i also believe DMD won't fumble their bag, so i am not worried about it.

to conclude, I will quote Zee,

then we come to LatteFirst, the kinda established couple: in the ep5 preview, we see First trying to choose between Latte and the newcomer Tle, which seemed random to me and could be a production touch to create conflict in this very smooth sailing show.

i loved seeing Latte being nonchalant about the possibility of First choosing someone else, what a laid back guy. like Mio in THC, every BL reality show needs a half asleep and occasionally funny dude.

now i am thinking; what if First chose Tle, would he also replace Latte in LUAT bc DMD doesn't really fuck w mixing matching their couples. i honestly don't know where did all that come from but i feel like the result wont be too shocking, First and Latte are already really close and comfortable and got The Chemistry. need i remind of Latte punching the air a la Judd Nelson at the end of The Breakfast Club when it was announced they both chose each other for the dinner date? and their sweet and comfortable banter on that said date??? let's put our pens to work and write a friends to lovers rom-com for the boys based on that material please...

i dont think they are likely to win but might be strong contender. i just want to see them as a side couple in LUAT (hopefully this year!!!!) so they can develop themselves and their bond a little bit more before getting to a main couple level. their sweet friendship shouldn't go to waste!!! (is it obvious i am more drawn to BL couples who are besties in real life?)

damn this post is about to be a novella so i will make it short about Gems, TeeTee and Tle, i hope Gems won't be too upset about getting slighted again 😥 like i said, stakes aren't high on this show and results are always obvious: these guys are going back home empty handed, we all know it. they are all charismatic and VERYYY talented but i just felt like none of them really focused on "getting a partner" part of the show, not just the main challenges. even TeeTee who was picked by Thomas and Keng seemed kinda uninterested about partnering up. but you cant really force chemistry and i am sure they will get many more opportunities in the future. they already started their fanbase!!! i cant stand to see Gems so upset, i hope he wont be too sad.

these are my opinions. maybe the ending will do a whole 180 and idk, GemsKeng or TleKong or some other random couple will win, who knows???? cant wait to watch the new overly airbrush filtered, Cheewin directed DMD show up to like 5 episodes and then get bored and drop it and follow the rest from gifs!!! good luck to the boys <3

around christmas is always a hard time for me bc it highlights my lack of closeness w my family members. finding literally any gift for my dad is always a struggle, though honestly i mostly blame him for that, because he closes himself off into a very limited range of interests and is so judgmental of everything else that you cant really get him anything but the couple things he approves of. my mom is difficult for similar reasons, though admittedly a bit easier to find gifts for because theres at least a handful of things she likes. but then theres my sisters... the younger one has a wishlist we all can pick from, so that at least makes sure shes not disappointed, but also... without the wishlist, im not sure what id get her. i just dont have that strong of a grasp on what shes into, and because shes a teen her interests change year by year. but sure, i could probably find something based on the few constants - she likes dainty gold jewelry, stim toys, and stuff for baking and making drinks, thats always reliable if predictable.

and then theres my older sister. and its like. i know she likes journalism because Thats Her Job, and there are a few things that come from that that make sense (i know she likes to read and shes interested in progressive political theory and journalism jokes), and i know she LOVES the tour de france, which i cant even rely on anymore bc everyone gets her tour de france stuff so at some point any such gift just means "i didnt know what to get you". and then .. what? we havent lived together since she was 17 and i was 12. she was into the cure as a teenager, i guess! what does she like now? what music does she listen to, what books does she read, what events does she attend when its not about her job? i dont know. she lives halfway around the world and i see her two days a year maybe, and i have no idea who she is outside of that sibling bond we share. i have this sort of.. idea of the person she is inside, of her values and personality in a vacuum, but i dont know her in her place in the world. we communicate through whatsapp and i speak to her less than my dad, which feels pretty shitty. so every year when its time for gifts i just... i dont know.

and sure part of it is i find it humiliating to not get someone a good gift. but what truly comes out of it is that i dont know my own sister, that i dont know how to know her. that i feel like thats my fault for not putting in the effort. for not being good enough of a sibling for her to reach out much either. and theres that thing in my mind, you know, where its like.. our younger sister knows her much better. they talk much more. she comes to france for our younger sisters birthday even when she doesnt come for christmas (and yes, ive noticed that shes never thought to come for my birthday, and i know she cant, i know shes very busy and those birthdays are only 2 months apart and our younger sister is a teen so her birthday would take precedent either way -- but i dont think its actually about all that, i think its more just that shes never really considered doing that whole trip for me). so i always end up there: sure, she likes me, probably she does love me, and i know she struggles to understand me quite a bit and would like to, and i dont want to blame her. but i always come back to: i just dont think she sees us as siblings the way she sees her and our younger sister as sisters. i just dont feel like i matter to her the same way our sister does. and it makes sense; were not blood-related, and sure we were raised together for a part of our childhood, but certainly not all of it, and we have a half-sister in common, but at the end of the day... in many other families we wouldnt be considered siblings at all. she would be "my ex-stepfathers daughter" or "my half-sisters half-sister". and i think its right there unspoken under all of our relationship that she just doesnt really see me as her sibling, not truly. and i wonder: is she trapped pretending? does she wish she didnt have to act like im her brother? am i the only one wishing our relationship was closer? all these years, have i been holding up this end of the phone line, beating myself up for not having anything to say, hoping to reignite the relationship - not knowing that the line is dead and she hung up years ago?

I try to respond to comments, but have had difficulty in the past. most often i do because i want to talk about behind the scenes stuff.

What's the happiest ending you've written?

I prefer happy/bittersweet endings,  but I think my happiest is world so close, since it basically has a fairy-tale happily ever after to it.

Do you write crossovers?

Nah. I'll do AUs, and maybe there's some crossover due to the nature of the MCYT fandom, but I largely keep characters in their own casts. It feels weird to put them elsewhere.

i did kinktober last year! if "toxic fucked up manipulative puppetduo sex" is what this means by "kind," thats generally what i do. i uh. i wrote 1/3rd of the fics in that tag. so.

Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Not officially, but I joke that the writers of the Homestuck Epilogues stole part of one of my fics to write about how dirk felt about his own death. The fact that they read exactly the same means that I Understand the character ig.

Have you ever co-written a fic before?

Yes! World So Close started a collaboration with my beloved friend Jinx but largely fell to me when they got too busy. I also have a couple Frantic Fanfic collabs and a co-written zine piece coming up.

What's your all-time favorite ship?

Very hard question. I don't think I have an All Time Favorite out of all the fandoms I've been in, but if we go by fav per fandom, they'd have to be dirkjake (homestuck), a rotating selection of c!eret ships though I am extremely fond (understatement) of dreameret (dsmp), shadowgast (critical role: mighty nein), zoethian (yogscast), and a PC/PC romance from my dnd game.

What's a WIP you want to finish but don't think you ever will?

sighs. For Every Failing Sun. it says its marked as complete because i have the rest of the plot in not!fic form, but the fact of the matter is that i dont think i'm gonna get around to completing it unless the danger days hyperfixation grabs me again.

What are your writing strengths?

Dialogue all the way. if i dont have a character voice right, i will simply perish

What are your writing weaknesses?

i will use the same words and phrases within two paragraphs of each other and then miss it in the edit, and i'm a fiend with an em dash. take those things away from meeeeeeeeeee

What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

this one doesn't really come up for me, though i get a little annoyed when it's worked in very clunkily. dark shout out to 14 yr old me doing this with a tumblr snk fic.

Unofficially, Peter and the Starcatcher when i was 7, hand-written. Officially, House of Anubis on the nickelodeon message boards circa 2011.

What's a fandom/ship you haven't written for yet but want to?

I want to maybe write a perc’ahlia fic sometime soon? Depends on how the mood takes me? Like, I've officially now written for critical role, but perc’ahlia seems like the next step. Only took 8 years of being in the fandom for the blorbofication of Percy de rolo to happen. It's kinda funny, I've been a fan of shadowgast for so long but have never felt the need to write for them. It just hasn't felt necessary. 

What's your favorite fic you've written?

this one's easy. It almost certainly has to be bring a little rust, slow the gears, which i, coincidentally, wrote for TJ for a fic event! genuinely one of my favorite things i've ever done, i'm extremely proud of it and it has some of my favorite c!eret dynamics at the forefront. OTHERWISE, it'd have to be Le Roman de la Couronne, which is a c!punz/c!eret courtly love au, which really just means i spent 33k infodumping about medieval and elizabethan literary tradition, with blorbos on top of it.

Im also starting to like n!Trevor out of spite. He cant be compared to canon Trevor (he'd get kicked into the sunset) in any way but as his own character he is a decent dude with a tragic past. And both his "friends" and the narrative keep treating him like a joke and a punching bag even when he's demonstrating genuine camaraderie by letting them in his childhood home.

And i cant believe how trevorcard turned into the main ship of this sewer of a show. I want the games duo to be all lovely n affectionate w eachother while i want n!Trevor to punch n!Alucard's fangs in

And honestly im glad he got pushed to the side by the show i cant imagine what s3 would have done to him if the writers thought he was pretty enough for the sexual abuse treatment

No joke, I think N!Trevor is my second favorite character in the show, right behind Dracula. Third if I count N!Hector in S2 and S2 only. Definitely one of the few I don't despise.

Like. He's not great. He's a generic anti-hero down on his luck and with hehe funny alcoholism, and largely inferior to Trevor who despite popular conception has a solid character, strengths and weaknesses. But he's perfectly inoffensive? He has a decent character arc, a decent backstory that explains his flaws, good intentions, and the story doesn't need to tell you that he's good deep down despite his rough exterior: it is shown when at first he walks by a Speaker getting harassed, but then he reluctantly intervenes. I like how in the finale of S1 he directs the mob to defend themselves against night creatures, showing that, when push comes to shove, he's a great leader. I like how, while he's not an expert in magic like Sypha or intimately familiar with Dracula like Alucard, he's genuinely knowledgable about monster lore and proud of his heritage: he's so happy when he finds the Morning Star! Also yeah, lines like "I am Trevor Belmont, and dying has never frightened me" are pretty cool.

He's a cool guy! And the story just hates his guts for no reason??? I am appalled by the amounts of abuse this dude gets put through by his friend and girlfriend?? And then the story who just gets tired of him halfway through????

Trephacard as a ship makes zero sense to me. Trepha, I can kind of understand because, while she is an utter prick to Trevor in S1 and 2 (oh no she learned to swear thanks to him! this is the same girl who wanted to make him drink her piss because he was "rude"), at least the two genuinely bond more in S3 and 4, although in the most useless excuse of a subplot conceivable. But adding Alucard into the mix is like poisoning a well. He's unpleasant, I have really no other word for him. He's mean, cruel, dismissive, insulting, petty, disrespectful... to a guy that did nothing to deserve this constant barrage of insults, in fact Alucard should be more than grateful that this dude wants to help him in this emotionally devastating mission... and Sypha defends him because his Depression™ is worse than Trevor's Depression™.

actually episodes 1-2 of tlovm are a very loose adaptation of some of the pre-stream content (since they didn't start streaming until several years into the actual campaign)! they've got a summary video for all of the pre-stream stuff called the story of vox machina which has some really pretty illustrations. there's also "vox machina: origins" which is an ongoing series of comics adapting pre-stream vox machina. the briarwoods arc (tlovm season 1) corresponds to campaign episodes 24-36. they get the invitation to the feast with the briarwoods at the end of 23 though and it's all set up in 14 iirc. i'm not entirely sure of tlovm season 2 content since i actually only just started on campaign chroma conclave, but according to the wiki that whole arc would be episodes 39-83. although tlovm definitely hasn't gotten to campaign episode 69. so i think they're only halfway through that. the children yearn for season 3

happy 4/20 here are some thoughts on my humanstuck au

kankri (marcus) + mituna (tatum) live together. damara (ana) has been crashing there for a few weeks/months after she found out her bf had been cheating on her

when marcus moved in with tatum he only had one stool and one couch that he would sprawl all over and tate told him to buy his own furniture. so he did, he bought an old love seat from the thrift store and would not let tatum get close to it. a couple days into ana crashing there, marcus told her that tatum will make her do that. the guys helped her get some of her old furniture from her exes and now all of their stuff is mix matched

latula (presley) + roxy (macy) live together and they have a chalkboard wall in their apartment

john (ivan), dave (dominic), + karkat (donnie) also live together

dominic had always been halfway interested in photography but never had the means to fully pursue it. so when ivan starts studying film and bringing home cameras, dominic started talking to him about it and looking over his notes and getting really into the science behind photography yk

this is like. a halfway college au. marcus studies law, tatum studies computer programming, porrim (elle) studies fashion marketing, meulin (laurie) studies art, macy studies bioengineering, and ivan studies film

marcus and donnie are half brothers, their dad married laurie’s mom when she + marcus were in highschool

pretty much everyone is 20-23ish, the oldest being kurloz (jesse) at 25 and the youngest is donnie at 20

jesse and laurie are dating + have been for 3~ years, which would’ve been right after laurie graduated (jesse is a bit of a creep in this but tbh in canon he ain’t much better)

i have a lot. a lot of ideas as far as backstories/how everyone met and im not really sure which one i want to stick with but here are some of those

marcus, tatum, and elle grew up together. marcus and tatum were really good friends (bcus of their dads) throughout elementary/early middle school, but then tatum started hanging out with the people that marcus had told him to stay away from. they drifted apart quickly and by high school tatum had become one of those. popular asshole stoner funny guys. and although he had tried to stop his new friends from making comments and jokes towards marcus, he ultimately realized he didn’t care too much. marcus and elle had stayed friends, but she too had made better friends that she had more in common with. honestly not quite sure what id do with ana in this idea, i bounced either having her move to town when she was like in 4/5th grade her and marcus become friends then, or having her be like elle or macy’s frjend first, or have everyone meet her later. idrk. basically this is just the “tatum/marcus friends to enemies to roommates tension” au (it is heavily inspired by this fic). as far as the other characters, i think tate would’ve met jesse in highschool and gone crazy w him, also met presley in highschool? maybe that whole situation could happen then? idrk. don’t love this idea there’s too much lore id have to detail

ana and marcus were friends all throughout middle school, but grew apart when she moved in highschool. at her new school she met tatum, presley, + macy and became quick friends. after graduation, tatum had moved in with jesse for a bit but got kicked out, and crashed at ana’s very tiny very shitty apartment for a couple days. by the end of day 2, they were already drunkenly formulating a plan of moving in together which became a real plan + they ended up renting a three bed one bath apartment ! they live together for like 2/3 years until ana moved out to live with her boyfriend at his very nice house (yes this is rufioh, his name is richie). tatum posts an ad for a new roommate, and eventually marcus responds. he moves in, and a few days later ana comes to visit and the two reconnect. anyway, after a bit of ‘tate/marcus roommate tension’, ana finds out abt her bf cheating, and crashes at their apartment. she relaxes the atmosphere greatly. i like this one in theory but i feel like it needs more marcus/tatum tension other than just. oh he’s messy and he’s bossy and they don’t like living together yada yada yk

okay so this one i haven’t really. written down the plots? of the backstory i just started writing a story and wanted to change the relationships so it’s kinda random. actually it’s just kind of a mix of the other ones. anyway, the whole marcus + tatum friends to enemies to roommates thing is still happening, but ana went to a different school. there she became besties with macy, and later presley when she moved there in 8/9th grade. macy + presley live together across town, and ana used to live near them w her boyfriend until they broke up and she wanted a change of scenery. not quite sure of how or when ana + presley met tatum and the rest but yea they all became good friends and ana started crashing there + ofc presley + tatum got together.

idk i have a lot more but also like not really .. i just need to get an actual story down

anyway. as far as romantic relationship goes the only ones i am for sure doing are presley + tatum, laurie + jesse, and eventually ana + marcus . also jumping between dominic + donnie or dominic + ivan but also like they’re more of background characters

tatum, presley, jesse, and laurie 100% go to raves together

elle is intersex and does drag

presley and macy are roommates + coworkers + besties (it sounds like it would be hell after a while but they make it work)

tatum, marcus, + anas apartment does allow animals, tate has two cats named j.peg + kitkat

presley + macy’s apartment only allows two pets but they secretly have four cats, vodka mewtini, geegee, citrine, + tulip (all of them besides tulip are macy’s, tatum gave presley tulip as a gift)

lauren + jesse aren’t supposed to have pets but jesse does keep a snake

ivan, dominic, + donnie’s aren’t allowed to have animals but dominic has been trying to test that theory with some of the crows that come to his window

elle can have pets, she has a big german shepard type guard dog named fangs and a soft calico named felicity

one of ana’s top teeth is chipped from a soccer accident

presley is from new jersey

tbh this has been the only thing i’ve been thinking about for like. months so i also have a bit of art of what i hc that they look like, so i might post some of that. it’s not very good but i also made them all in the sims like multiple times LMAO . i also have some stories that are mainly about ana + marcus but according to chatgpt they are not good so. maybe eventually … idk i just hope all of this makes sense to anyone else but me
