mutsu and sakamoto and their kaientai is a very underutilized but rather charming faction, she's a former human trafficking pirate princess and essentially a powerhouse with a deadpan stoic personality and a nerd side, and he's a silly affable charismatic goofy nepo baby with a natural talent for business, and the kaientai is made of former slaves whom they rescued, and they do space trade. both of them have good character designs and are visually harmonious and pleasing. this alone is a good premise for a mediocre 12 episode one cour anime, with a bit of imagination and under the guide of a good balanced hand it could be even good. it could be even good
