The plural community really needs to start treating fusion as simply a natural function of some people's experiences with plurality, instead of painting it as always bad and triggering and "headmate death".

You don't want to fuse? It's simply not part of how your system works? The idea of it happening in your system is scary or even triggering? You genuinely view it as death in the context of your plurality? That's okay! Everyone's views on any function is different!

BUT, and this is a big but, you need to stop demonizing it. You need to stop pushing how YOU view it onto everyone else. For some systems, it's a normal and HEALTHY part of how they function. By stating that it's bad, it's "headmate death", by insisting that discussion of it needs hiding or outright banning it, you're shaming those who do experience it, especially if it's frequent or it's a deliberate part of their path to recovery (no matter if that's functional multiplicity, final fusion, or anything else!)

The treatment of fusion as the boogeyman of the plurality community has caused us to feel a lot of shame and guilt over a common and natural part of our plurality, which we need to occur to function properly. It's not "murder" or whatever, it's us becoming closer, dropping barriers, and gaining the ability to function properly. Please respect that and treat fusion properly instead of like it's evil, I'm so tired at this point

Ive noticed you tag your emotes with AAC. AAC symbols && emotes are wonderful as an AAC user ALTHOUGH I have noticed something though. You happen to have a DNI list. I assume anyone on this list cannot use these emotes. If someone couldnt find any other emote of something besides yours, wouldnt you want them to use it regardless of their views and alignment? You imply that communication is a priveledge when it is a basic human right. Communication is not a priveledge and should not be treated as such, especially when based off views or anything of the sort. (I myself am not on your dni)

Hi, Tibetan here (from Lhasa specifically) who was raised in and actively practices Vajrayana Buddhism. Not all those with emanations call themselves systems, but some do indeed use and benefit from this language. I happily call myself a system and plural, as I share my mind with others as a result of practicing my faith.

Certainly I do not have a dissociative disorder nor any other trauma disorder, and I try to stay out of trauma focused spaces online, as I have no PTSD or related issues. But we (spiritual and cultural plurals) do exist, and for many of us, our plurality is a key aspect of our being.

Fully support this as a practice (I'd be weird not to)

My gripe is specifically with those who take from trauma spaces- so thank you for explaining your efforts to avoid them.

I will point out that system is a medical term to describe CDD systems, and to demedicalise this can be harmful. However your distance from these spaces and accepting that you don't have DID like endos claim to, highlights my point about wanting this away from spaces for trauma survivors and to be medically separated.
