oh my god you are so right abt casey. sorry i saw ur tags on that post and had to say something. it drives me crazy that she was just Thrown away for the movie

*takes a fat bong rip* god knows i spent 2 solid years in the fucking trenches keeping the rottmnt casey jones tag somewhat constantly fed w content of her. Then the movie happened and most of the content in the tag was Junior. Dont get me wrong i love Junior(for very personal reasons) but being in the fandom pissed me off so bad every day bc when people werent getting her name wrong, they were dead mom-ing her, or flanderizing her, or(to this day i consider this total bullshit) straight up not acknowledging her AT ALL despite the fact she is the Casey Jones of rise, and idk abt yall but we had 2 whole years where she was the only Casey Jones in rise and lemme tell u i did not see half as much content as i did of Junior. Im not saying i dont want content of him im just saying its kinda odd that there was a perfectly good Casey Jones right there and Junior's addition in the movie feels cheap(idk if they were just pandering to old fans or what) and the way the fandom immediately discarded her felt iffy.

AND ANOTHER THING since u mentioned my tags lol lemme just say i mean it 100% when i say i cannot bring myself to care abt foot clan aus of the turtles. Like bro how do you take Casey's whole fucking thing in the show and shove it on any of the turtles as a repackage. What would happen if a kid was raised in the foot/trained to be a foot clan member? BRO WE KNOW THE ANSWER HER NAME IS CASEY JONES AND SHE TIED HER WHOLE SELF WORTH AROUND HER USEFULNESS TO THE CULT. THIS WOMAN WAS SOBBING AND UGLY CRYING AT THE PROSPECT OF FAILURE. She is so interesting and i love her she continues to make me sick in the head and while i love Junior and there are things abt him that also make me feel insane no one has done it the way she does.
