okay i’m finally ready to talk about the archer ending because HUH. i’m sorry but what the fuck even was that. that shit made me GLAD it’s over.

i wanted to avoid saying anything cos i didn’t wanna be overly negative but fuck that i can say what i want.

these new writers, man. the One thing i liked about the new seasons written by them was that they were forcing archer to consider his mortality a bit more and then they just. did a complete 180 in Into The Cold? idk.

i get it’s supposed to be reminiscent of season 1-5 with all the cold war stuff, katya, slater, archer falling back into old habits, the Unknown Dad Thing, etc but they just. did it badly. they did it badly. and it was boring too, that’s what gets me. i checked how long was left multiple times because i was waiting for it to be over. my close-second favourite show that i’ve loved for 5 years.

it ended and i felt nothing.
