im sorry i used to dislike bbh simply cause i found him annoying but that joke pissed me off like idc if you're kidding why are you calling someone "uncultured" for not knowing an english saying when it's not their first language... being the monolingual one in that interaction doesn't strike me as being the most cultured one idk
