im one of the lucky people who has an old as shit mobile device that cant receive the new mobile update but regardless we need to be loud and annoying about how much none of us wanted this fucking update.

its actively hostile to users with vision disabilities and sensitivities. Its unintuitive, ugly, feels bad to use, and this is a valid complaint we should be voicing: it ruined the years of familiarity and muscle memory we all have with that app. it wasn't broken. it worked great. i love discord, they need to fucking roll this back. bite the bullet and accept that your users fucking despise this just like we despised the stupid ai chatbot.

This update is hostile to the user, feels awful to use, the new ui is confusing and much much worse than the previous layout. Using the app used to be convenient and easy but its been turned into a bootleg facebook messenger, and i don't know about you but i do not wanna use fucking facebook messenger. let alone a bootleg version of that piece of shit.

We have got to be loud and annoying about how much we hate this or else they might think they can ruin the desktop version in the future and get away with it.

Leave reviews on discord voicing how much you don't like this update. Cancel your nitro subscriptions. Yell on tumblr, on twitter, on bluesky, anywhere you have an account that you hate this and its a hell of a downgrade.

The new ""midnight"" mode is ugly as all hell and actively WORSE for those with vision impairments who benefitted from the classic dark mode. The new UI is a massive downgrade, unwanted by the users, unintuitive to use, inconvenient, and most of all, again, an unwarranted downgrade.
