So I was wondering what your opinion and favorite thing about Eremin is. I've just been thinking about that ship a lot lately. You said you were bored so I thought why not ask!

i feel like eremin is one of the original ships in the attack on titan fandom, and it really is the “childhood best friends to lovers” trope. armin is there to balance eren out. and while the trope and ship dynamic is amazing, it’s not one of my favourites.

don’t get me wrong, eremin is an amazing ship, but it’s not that high up on the list. for example, i don’t like it as much as eruri or mikasasha (which you know i love if you’ve been around for a while). and there are ships like aruani, which is officially canon, that i adore.

that being said, sometimes i will come up with a prompt or a text quote, and really try to think of a couple suitable. but the only ship that comes to mind is eremin, which is probably why i have so much eremin content on here. and there are more rarer ships like jearmin (jean x armin), and if im being honest, i wouldn’t mind doing content of if that’s what you wanted.

my favourite thing about eremin is probably the balance. eren and armin know each other so well, and know exactly what to say in situations where either are about to snap. the table scene in season four absolutely destroyed me, and it was so painful for me to watch. ive come up with so many headcanons for eremin but never posted them, i don’t know if you’d be interested in hearing them, but i usually don’t post my headcanons on here, i write them on my ao3 account (ask if you want it!). but i like eremin because they knew each other since they were kids and they were so close. eren stood up for armin, and armin was there for eren the whole time.

the only person i ship eren with is armin, and im definitely not a fan of eremika or erehisu, so eremin is the only ship that i think would suit eren and bring out the hidden passion and intimacy in him.

overall, id rate eremin a 7.5/10. i don’t hate it, but it’s not my favourite!
