Re: dieting - I won’t tell you what to do, but I don’t think you’re overweight at all! I’m the same height as you, and 45kgs (so pretty much the same) and to call me overweight would be a huge stretch of the imagination. Please take care of yourself 💕

(Also if you insist on it, try a diet based on restricting food *types* not food *quantity*. Not giving yourself proper nutrition can get really dangerous, but there’s less harm in cutting out things like processed foods and sugars ☺️)

When all the vegan options on a menu are also the 'healthy' options, rage and anger. Like, I get it, economic forces encourage it because enough other people do this because they like the idea of being Green and Healthy and Clean but not me. You do not need a leather jacket. You do not need a leather purse. You do not need those leather boots.

I truly do not care for the conversation around animal leather vs pleather - because you do not need leather. If both current options for leather-products are harmful for animals and the environment (leather kills + often contains plastic, and pleather is plastic) then you need to ditch the leather.

Do people forget that there are a myriad of perfectly good materials that exist that are neither exploitative of animals, or contribute to plastic production?

And before you come at me saying that there are circumstances in which certain animal-based materials (or their alternatives) are necessary - regardless of if that is true, that is not what this conversation is largely about. It’s about people who WANT it because they like it. They like the feel, the aesthetics, whatever.

Most people do not need this shit. They want it. They care more about their desires for pretty things than they ever will for the animals or the environment. You people are just greedy.

Please be careful trying veganism. Pretty much every vegan I've met has had severe health issues like gastric blockages, anemia, heart failure, seizures, ect. It's really not sustainable long term, that's why most traditional vegan countries have so much malnutrition. They're basically killing themselves slowly.

At some point, even the most staunch non-vegan has to acknowledge that the way we eat meat as Americans is literally killing the planet. They have to acknowledge that the state has a vested interest in keeping vegan/lab grown products from becoming adapted on a wide scale. Their denial of making a choice that would be good for all of humanity is exactly what the government wants of them; passiveness. Acting like vegans have this faux sense of superiority and you shouldnt listen to them IS propaganda, no matter how true it is on an individual basis. a pet peeve of mine is stuff proudly labelled vegan but it's farmed w slave labor. like how is that vegan then.
