Goooood morning everyone i woke up today thinking about how Buck's default solution is quitting but just-- buck in 8x01 telling everyone they should all quit but theyre all giving proper reasons why they cant and then in 8x04 gerrard telling buck to choose and buck listened to his team and knows they cant lose the job so instead he chooses himself to quit and it's almost a parallel of the lawsuit arc except this time it's about protecting everyone else instead of himself and hes grown so much but hes also the same person and sobs i love him so much
