Do you have a switch? I freaking love that thing. This is the anon from forever ago when we were talking about the Nintendo DS from the times of old 🤣 it's so interesting to see how the handheld Nintendos have changed over the years. Anyways, I wanted to know if you liked animal crossing lmao

I do have a Switch but I don't use it often. Mostly to play Mario Kart when the mood strikes 😂 (I also don't use my Playstation all that much either lol).

I tried to play Animal Crossing when I first got my Switch, but I couldn't really get into it. 🤷‍♀️

What video games do you like to play?

Honestly Im a grab bag of a gamer!

I used to be massively into the souls games but after I played them too much I just cant seem to go back to them.

I absolutely love a good chill vibing game like Stardew Valley, Story of Seasons and Rune Factory, have frankly logged far far too many hours into Stardew as it is.

Then recently Ive been feeling the urge for some fast paced action so Ive been going through some older fps's like I just beat Blood on well done a few months back working my way through Amid Evil now, absolutely adore Ultrakill even though I am god awful at it and am not even good enough to beat the first Gabriel fight much less unlock the entire second act.

Of course if you want to count them and I most certainly do I am a visual novel addict, and if you dont think VN's are games go find a copy of Kamidori Alchemy Meister and get as addicted to that games tactical combat as I am! (Its a fire-emblem like only more high fantasy)

But the Majikoi series stands out above all the visual novels, hell Majikoi is so important and amazing to me Id put it in my top three favorite experiences Ive ever had from a piece of art!

Occasionally when the mood strikes me Ill boot up a good ole RPG obviously you have your OG classics like Chrono Trigger (Which I happen to have a SNES cart of) but newer classics that forgo the turn based combat systems as well like Ni no kuni!

As with all things however I have a pair of games that I play for comfort and never bore me or get stale, the first is Diablo 2, I began playing Diablo 2 when I was just six years old something about the game drew me in and has never let go the moment I first laid eyes on the rouge encampment an obsession was formed. During a move my dad lost his copy of Diablo 2 and I begged him to get me a new one, when my asshole abusive brother destroyed that copy I scrounged every penny I found on the street to buy it again, due to complicated circumstances ive lost or had my copy of Diablo 2 ruined I think about 6-8 times but when the Itch to play it comes from deep inside my skull I cannot refuse so Ive had to re-buy the damn thing that many times! I dont know how long Ive spent playing Diablo 2 but just a gut feeling says that it would have to be measured in YEARS.

The other Game is Terraria I bought Terraria on Steam day one, I remember watching the developers lets play back on youtube at the same time I was playing the game, Terraria does not have as much of a story in my life as Diablo 2 but since I bough it day one on steam 12 fucking years ago I actually do have my total collective play time

That's 3,204.4 hours thats more than double my next most played game on steam (Titan Quest at 1,417.8 hours CAN YA TELL I LOVE ARPG's?) that equates by the way to 133.5 days straight of just playing Terraria. No I do not have all the Achievements in Terraria I play games to have fun and escapism doing a checklist of things in a game isnt fun!

There are so many more games I adore but this is already too long!

ummm --- im thinking the more competitive boys might be into games? 

I see Childe being pretty gamey; wanting to be the best, get on that leaderboard (but never misses his time at the gym); good at first person shooters (FPS), likes to do large group battle royal streams

Itto, he’s a pro gamer and while he can have really good matches he also SUCKS quiet often. This boy can’t stay consistent at all which makes for fun stream watches 

Kaeya gives me vibes of casual gaming; he enjoys those social deception games and wins more often than people like to admit

Albedo likes to play relaxing or educational games. I see him playing that alchemy game a lot when he’s waiting for his research or results to come in. He’s just sitting on his chair, flinging elements together like it’s nothing (he consumes games like that).

Xiao likes rhythm games; he’s pretty good at beat-saber (really good), he likes Flower (that game company) because it’s soothing with a little bit of a challenge. I imagine him liking Journey a lot; it feels ... complete to him 

Diluc, Ayato, Scara don’t strike me as hard core games - they are too busy, but they might indulge in a few things here and there. Don’t be surprised to see them staying up all night to win once they are really interested; they don’t have a chill. Diluc and Ayato for sure play strategy games against each other though -- they have no idea they are doing it and they have a mutual dislike and admiration for the other (Diluc mumbles under his breath Ayato’s gamertag with a furrowed brow as he plans his next move -- he’s a cutie)

Zhongli the boy likes point and click games, Myst for instance; puzzle games, mystery games, story based games like Life is Strange, or games where the emphasis is on the story it weaves rather than the graphics and action 

Thoma is more for the relaxing games he can play with someone; he’s a master at Stardew Valley,  his island on Animal Crossing is insane. He doesn’t spend any money on these games, he simply works hard 

Gorou likes open adventure games; Zelda, Shadow of the Colossus, Pokemon 

Venti is a troll; that’s it

i know we as a collective society believe in gamer! eren supremacy. and yes, this is a good take. however, may i introduce to you: normie/fuckboy/jock eren with gamer/nerd gf. thoughts under the cut (safe for work, pg-13, also slight snk spoilers for season 3 and up!)

see, eren isnt necessarily a fuckboy. in fact, hes very loyal! he doesnt really think that way about any girls or guys except you. but hes popular romantically and had a reputation for sleeping around before he met you (not that theres anything wrong with that but ya know word travels fast across campus). plus, cmon the dude is in a frat, super hot and has a tongue piercing. he cant blame anyone for thinking he is a fuckboy bc he exudes the energy.

you are kind of the complete opposite. you dont really enjoy parties and you keep to yourself. you're a total wreck when it comes to flirting and your kinda oblivious to whenever people like you. you dont have many friends and are a bigger fan of 2d people than 3d.

either way eren finds you so so so cute. he first approached you at one of his frat parties. your roommates convinced you to come after she said that someone (read: connie) had a dance dance revolution mat, but you kinda just stuck around in a corner staring at your cup once you lost them. he looks you up and down-- your outfit was pretty cute, a short plaid orange pleated skirt, dress shirt, orange cardigan and black beret laying neatly upon your head. and your face... he couldn't help himself but try to talk to you. you were really anxious because wahhh scary sports guy you dont know but he was kinda instantly comforting? in a way? and he was freaking pretty. he looked like a final fantasy character--long haired characters were your type. the rest was kind of history.

a lot of people are shocked when they find out your dating bc you two are so different (some people are surprise eren “dates” at all) but no one dares question your relationship when they see how much eren dotes on you. he has so many polaroids of you in his wallet-- from the many arcade dates you bring him on where you decimate him at almost every game, you awkwardly posing in the hentai section of bookstores, or just candids of you being intensely focused on a puzzle in a game. whenever you guys go out to eat and somethings wrong with your meal, he'll send it back (in a polite way, of course, but hes still assertive.) or if you buy like a figurine and its misisng something hes marching up to the cashier stand for you. he always has an arm around your waist or is holding is hand in yours. sometimes you just cling onto his arm and rest your head on it (hes comfy!!!!! and you are always tired) your both pretty clingy, but you get kinda awkward when you two are around people you know so he just kinda subtly holds you as to not make a scene. its nice. hes comfy.

youve got dual monitors, a pc you made yourself, rgb keyboard, the whole nine yards. all your consoles are up to date and you keep a handheld system on you at all times. you spend most your weekends watching anime and movies and tv shows and your shelves are piled high with books and comic books. eren literally does not understand any of it. when you told him you built your pc he goes "you made all those microchippy things? youre soooo smart babe". when you talk about some of your weirder or more complicated animes he nods along but honestly he gets so lost ("so like, lemme get this straight, the kids dad's wife ate his mom?" "yeah but like she was turned into a titan so she didn't realllllly know it was the dads wife, but like she literally walks past this titan shifter so i think she knew." "thats crazy.") and he will never understand the point of otome games when hes literally right there. he actually has a really bad habit of getting jealous of characters you have a crush on but you just find it funny. sometimes he gets an ego boost when they look like him because even if they look like him he is actually real so they can suck it.

hes rlly supportive tho. erens a rlly passionate person and he loves you a lot so he pours a lot of passion into what you do. if you are into esports/fps games hes cheers you on all the time and does all the raging for you ("BABE THAT GUY IS STREAM SNIPING! HES STREAM SNIPING YOU HEY ASSHOLE STOP CHEATING OFF MY GIRLFRIEND" "eren he cant stream snipe me because i dont stream" "oh i thought that just meant cheating"/"WHAT DID YOU JUST CALL HER?" "eren its okay i can just report him" "NO NO LET ME AT HIM IF HE WANTS TO CALL YOU A BITCH I CAN CALL HIM MUCH WORSE" "um guys im gonna mute my mic for a second if you need me text chat") if youre into cozy games he likes to watch you play and gives you ideas on where to put things. like in minecraft he makes you put a second bed for him even though he doesnt play and he helps you name all your pets. you get a little less intense with cozy games so you sit on his lap and he lets his hair down puts his head on your shoulder and points at where you should place stuff. he still rages though? this is eren jaeger we are talking about. ("aw, she wont move to my island." "WHAT? who does that little ugly squirrel think she is? you think youre too good for MY y/n's island? i'll shave your unibrow off. then we'll see what island will want you" "leave hazel alone! shes cute!"/"dude that hamster guy with the glasses looks like armin" "graham? what? armin doesnt even wear glasses" "no no look at it more" "oh shit youre right") rpgs/otome games are kinda a wild card with how he acts. if its an otome game and the character looks like him he is more into helping you out because it reaffirms to him that you find him good looking but otherwise he is just sulking and calling them annoying ("princess y/n... i know im just a servant, but i want to be with you forever!" "pft. get a load of this guy. clingy much?" "its romantic! youre jealous.")

one of his favorite things to do with you is cuddle and watch anime. usually he lies his face on your thighs or chest while watching and you play with his hair or he holds you in his chest and you play with one of his hands while the other goes behind his head. he grew up on some of the classics like naruto sailor moon one piece pokemon and dbz but he never got super into it until he started dating you. you put him on to soooo many good shows (cartoons, anime, and live action) hes both a crier and he is a get-angrier(?). he gets mad on characters behalfs and you have to pause the show so he can rant about how annoying someone is or he feels so bad for someone so he has to take a minute because hes tearing up. he likes slice of life anime because the friendships <3 theyre so wholesome and they remind him of him armin and mikasa but he also likes shounen because it is entertaining to watch fights. he gets really into them actually. he also has this really bad habit of whenever there is a character with no parents or a dead mom he goes "oh same" or "welcome to the club buddy" under his breath. when theres a cute couple in an anime you both like guys get matching keychains of them unless one of them dies because he thinks its bad luck. his favorite animes are haikyuu, your lie in april and code geass.

you are equally supportive of erens volleyball career. you know all the rules because sports anime and you actually find yourself really liking it in 3d as well (it is lacking in bromance and screaming but you let it slide). you go to all his games and he always texts you before his practices. has a habit of kissing you before games and one day after he kisses you go "gg ez win" as a JOKE but then they like decimate their long time rival marley university and get into nationals (is that a thing for volleyball idk sports) so hes convinced its because you did your "gamer magic". now every time after getting his good luck kiss he interlocks your pinkies and you go "gg ez win" and he goes “yes.” because to this day he doesnt know what it means (he thinks googling it is like breaking the magic)

🎮What genre of video games do the mun and muse like best? What are their favorite systems and video games?

RPG’s are my weakness, both turn-based and more dynamic play, long as it’s a game with a compelling storyline, characters with depth and the ability to wield a sword, I’m a happy lil’ bean. I also like more relaxing games though, like Stardew or its catalyst Harvest Moon, I’m really not too picky of a gamer, so long as it isn’t a straight FPS or anything like that, I’ll take a crack at it. As far as favorite console? I don’t think anything will ever take Gamecube’s place in my heart.

‘can’t say i’m much of a gamer, didn’t really have much in the underground, aside from the defective games that sometimes fell in the dump. i have tried a few since reachin’ the surface though, fun playin’ my bro in that kart racin’ game, even if he gets pretty rattled at me for beatin’ ‘im all the time, heh.’

📚What sorts of books do the mun and muse like to read? Do you they have a favorite author or book?

Oh goodness, I’m such a shameless bookworm. Honestly fantasy novels are definitely my cup of tea, though I do like mystery and horror stuff too, and I’ve read more than my share of romance as well. I’m currently reading the 4th Eragon book, since I never quite finished the series, though it’s certainly one of my favorites. Stephen King was my favorite author growing up, and he still holds a special place in my heart.

‘eh heh.. only readin’ i’ve really been doin’ lately has ta’ do with the surface.. researchin’ the stuff we’ve missed out on while we were underground. there’s.. a lot ta’ go through, but i’m slowly compilin’ the most important stuff that’s gone on, knowledge that might help us in the long run. tryin’ not ta’ think the same way anymore but.. know thy enemy, right?’

👻What is the scariest thing to ever happen to the mun and muse?

Even though I don’t really remember much of it, I guess the scariest thing would be when I was nearly killed as a child? I very nearly didn’t make it past my 5th birthday.. I ran through a plate glass door that I thought was open, and when it shattered and I almost tipped over and cut myself in half.. I still have a nasty scar over my knee, and a smaller one on my side.. I really am lucky to be alive.

‘my memory is really.. fuzzy bout’ it.. almost feels like a wakin’ dream.. but i know it happened. that it could happen again.. i could lose everythin’.. all over again.. an’ i have.. so much more to lose.. now..’

💙What is one thing that can calm down the mun and muse? Is it a person, thing, or place?

Depending on the severity I’m.. actually kind of hard to calm down. Mainly because I try to pretend that everything is fine.. I bury my feelings because I don’t want to be a burden on my loved ones.. sometimes I’m.. scared to rely on others, I guess.. especially lately. If it’s really bad, I’ll pull into my shell.. go quiet or drop out altogether. I tried being more open but now I’m.. gun-shy. It’s much easier for me to go off by myself.. play some cathartic video games or just sleep the worst of it off.. I wish I could let others help me more easily.. but part of me fears letting anyone that close again..

‘i’m not the easiest ta’ calm down either.. takes a lot ta’ get under my figurative skin, but when somethin’ is buggin’ me.. i don’t let on bout’ it either. ‘less ya know me well.. doubt you’ll even be able ta’ tell.  papyrus always finds a way ta’ help though.. even if he doesn’t know what’s wrong. an’ i.. find undyne’s presence just as.. calmin’ lately too.. i really don’t deserve either of em’ but.. i can’t begin ta’ express how thankful i am ta’ have them here.. heh..’

🛍What sort of things do the mun and muse usually shop for? What is the last thing either of them bought?

I admittedly very rarely shop for myself, aside from food and the like. I’m much more content buying gifts for friends, especially the stuff they really need. If I do get anything for myself, it’s usually for some charity drive from my favorite Youtubers, or a replacement for something that’s gone out. Like the last thing I bought for myself, a new headset.

‘i’m the same way, i get much more outta buyin’ stuff for others than i do myself. ‘specially for paps and my close friends. not that i’m completely against splurgin’ on pizza or somethin’ now an’ then.. there’s a lotta stuff we couldn’t get in the underground that i’ve come ta’ enjoy.’

💫How does either mun or muse handle being sick? Do they need someone to take care of them, or are they capable of taking care of themselves just fine?

It’s a bit of a toss-up, when I’m not feeling well, my dad usually tries to do what he can to help, but I really kind of isolate myself if I’m sick, more than anything I’ll just take medicine and try to sleep it off. But if I’m scheduled to work, I’ll usually still try to drag myself in. I suppose I have a bit of a stubborn streak.

‘i’ll usually just sleep through off days too.. be it actual sickness or just.. my stormier moods. don’t wanna subject anyone ta’ that.. better off alone durin’ those times..’

🥂How is either the mun’s or muse’s alcohol tolerance? What are their favorite alcoholic drinks?

I’ve only been drunk twice in my life, and both times I had pretty strong liquor.. since the taste of beer is absolutely disgusting to me. Even though I was super giggly and couldn’t walk a straight line to save my life, I was still coherent at least, so I guess my tolerance is pretty good? I found I really like the taste of cinnamon schnapps if anything. 

‘i’m not much of a drinker.. usually only takes a couple shots of the hard stuff ta’ knock me on my tailbone, though i guess my tolerance fer’ beer is a little better. i’m a black-out drunk though.. so it’s rare that i’ll indulge.. don’t wanna make a total fool of myself. my drink of choice? guess i’m partial ta’ whiskey, kinda like the burn goin’ down.’

🎬What genre of movies do the mun and muse like best? What are their favorite movies? Do they prefer watching alone or with others? Do they prefer watching at home or in the theater?

Ahhh! Gosh I’m such a Disney and Ghibli nerd! That said I really like animated movies, or comedies and films based around animals. I’m not that big of an action fan, and horror movies are usually too much for me to handle. I prefer watching with others, but it’s not like I mind enjoying a movie by myself, especially if I need the solitude. I definitely prefer viewing at home though, I just don’t like going out in general, crowds of people make me anxious. As for my favorite movie? It will probably always be Spirited Away.

‘i’m a.. pretty big offender of just straight fallin’ asleep through movies. doesn’t matter what it is.. if i’m comfy an’ relaxed, chances are it’s gonna happen. i even doze off durin’ horror movies.. though i guess that isn’t all that surprisin’, papyrus gets scared easily, an’ cuddles always put me out. i.. actually can’t remember the last time i watched one all the way through.. eh heh..’
