Sigh. Guys. .. .. i know a lot of you wont agree but. Anyways whatever this may fall on deaf ears and mayyyybe u may think of me differently but like. Its fine. Im not saying anything wrong. You can just unfollow me or whatevs
Sorry ive just seen a lot about this recently. Pit bulls ARE dangerous. BEFORE you come after me. I used to be the type of person to say "its the owner not the breed" and defend them always very strongly but like. I WAS like that ! I love animals. I loved all dogs. Let me tell you an anecdote. The neighbors have a pitbull named Domino. When i was a kid and she was a puppy i used to go play with her. But she always tried to bite my socks haha. Anyways , when she grew up, the neighbors told me i couldn't play with her anymore. I was really confused but ok. Basically she became really aggressive and they had to put up things in the fence to the street so she wouldn't try to bite passerbys. Ah. I know my neighbors and they are the sweetest people. This dog causes them inconvenience everytime anyone needs to visit. Now why would they train her to do this..
My guys. Dog breeds are bred to do things. Pointers point , retrievers retrieve , sheperds herd sheep. Do you actually just think every dog breed is just like. Aesthetic. Cmon now .. please think it thru a bit. AGAIN i didn't believe it at first but like. Guys.
Also im latino (mexican) and like. Cmon now dont compare us to a fucking dangerous dog breed! Im definitely not flattered. Pitbulls were bred as bloodsport dogs. Why on earth would people who wanted to fight dogs choose a supposedly gentle and nice breed to fight. Don't you think they would choose to breed a . Yknow. Strong and prone to quick aggression dog.
Also im begging you all to look at cases like. Is. Is it the owner? If so why tf a ton of them are pitbulls then. Do ALL of those owners trained their damn dog to bite people?
Not saying this is great (about not training) but. I had a golden retriever as a kid . We barely trained her and guess what. Not once did she ever try to bite or show aggression at all. Guess what she DID do. Retrieve things . Lol. Kinda like.. she was meant to do that.. instinctively...yeah.. never had to put a damn wall or anything so she wouldn't try to maul people visiting lmao.

THA NK YOU it totally slipped my mind but like the issue i find with how q operates it's that it's very. How to say this. telling of the way he was raised. in a way i feel like how he acts re: crimes of his past really reflect that idea of how the whiter you are the less consequences you feel your actions have because a lot of latam people justify their humor in how Oppresed they are and i find white latinos specifically LOVEEEE to take advantage of that "but im opwesed" language and i feel with like the way he justifies just not refering to any criticism of him ever is very rooted on that Hope this makes sense i hat.e. that brand of whitexicans EVEN IF HE ISNT EVEN WHITE the perception of whiteness is enough for people to turn
KISSIN GYOU ON THE MOUTHHHHHHHHHHH. ya i think theres a lottttta lotta lotta privilege in the ways he grew up (racial ambiguity/leaning white and being able to receive education in both the us and mexico) which isnt a bad thing inherently its just interesting because he has historically moved like a white person online. i didnt even know bro was mexican until i saw his telenovelas stream and he started rlly pivoting towards his spanish audience (i confused the HELLL out of him and leafyishere who he edited for funny enough, more on that later). i kinda get it like get that bag obviously when you have any sort of non white or other "marginalized" (quotes cause a lot of that relies on US definitions of oppression and audiences from the US were one of the main drivers of popular content at the time) groups you kinda get pigeonholed into certain roles if you try to break into mainstream culture, esp in the early 2000s-2010s. i dont love how he got big initially through like though i feel sympathy for him in that sense i dont love how because hes a poc (mostly cause US americans racialize the fawkkkk out of mexicans in particular) he can do no wrong and is absolved of any genuine wrongdoing (esp against other racial/marginalized groups). and then the thing you said of him being PERCEIVED as white and him feeling so comfortable in it and even somewhat cozying up to alt right adjacent ccs who made "edgy" content and doing that himself as well is just...... like leafy was NOTORIOUS for being the biggest freak ever who made fun of so many types of people and who rightfully received retribution and yet i never see any discussion of q ever being involved with that even though its not really a secret. not to say poc cant be racist because "racism is a white people thing" and DEFINITELY not to deny the abhorrent racism he experienced when he DID initially become open about his background but theres something to be said about how he was pretty functionally white to most of his audience until he decided it was convenient to make content while being proudly mexican and then not rlly get any significant flack from people about his previous actions in a pretty blue haired liberal space where people basically got castrated for even less. idk its just bizzare

lance hcs
ok so i fell in love with lance cause he's latino and so am i and he reminds me of myself a lot, ok??? and I kinda wished they had explored that a little more so here
lance's family is pretty big, he grew up with his siblings, 11 cousins from his mom's side, and 13 from his dad's
abuelita when she has to babysit all of them: ay dios mio
lance's abuelita lives with them which means lance was super loved and spoiled and dramatic
like that boy can quote so many telenovelas thanks to his abuelita
his abuelita was a dancer when she was younger so she obviously taught him and his siblings how
seven year old lance and his abuelita at 4am listening to selena: cada vez!!!! cada vez que lo veo pasar!!! mi corazon se enloquese!!!! y me empieza a palpitar!!!! bidi bidi bom bom!!!
(i probably misspelled most of that whoops)
(lance was a selena quintanilla stan and anyone who disagrees can fight me. if you don't know her..... what are you doing with your life?????)
so lance is obviously bilingual and a huge chismoso (so is the rest of his family)
lance to his siblings and around the person he's talking about: y la pendeja estaba aqui!!!
his parents would make fun of them when they say something wrong in spanish
lance to his mami: mami, me das unas modenas para comprarme algo???
lance realizing his mistake and that he will never be able to live it down: ay virgen maria
he would also switch languages mid sentence without noticing
lance excitedly talking to hunk: and then he jumped y todos gritaron!!!
hunk trying to rejister what's being said to him when he can't really understand spanish: uhhhh
ugh he forgets how to say things in a language so many times
lance: what's the word for gold in spanish???? golro?????
his sister veronica after staring at him for two minutes: oro,,,,, it's oro
he never trusts butter containers
lance opening a butter container because he wants some toast: please not beans
the container: is filled with beans
lance: this is so sad alexa play despacito
celia cruz is the shit in their house
he sings her songs when he misses his abuelita because she idolized her
he tries to teach the others spanish because he's terrified of losing the language that's his only connection to home
he panics if he can't remember a word and wishes his siblings were there to fill the blank in his mind
he even misses when his mami would cook chile, even if his throat itched and felt like it was on fire because it meant he was home
he only swears in spanish when he's really mad and ready to curse a whole family
he misses looking up diy face mask recipes with his mami
also anyone who's close to his parents immediately becomes tio/tia
lance introducing his family to the others: there's my tia carmen, tio gabriel, tia ivonne....
keith: how many siblings do your mom and dad have?
lance: not that many :))))
also his family teases him all the time, even more when he comes home with a huge crush on keith
his tia: y el novio????
lance: uhhhhh
lance used to dread family reunions because he had to greet everyone with a kiss on the cheek and "de buen modo"
now he would give anything to greet his family again even if it took forever
this was kinda sad, im sorry :(((

She's hilarious but there's two videos where she starts to speak more mumblingly
ok first of all these are brilliant and i'm losing my mind and i love you, thank you for curating these to me.
i will transcribe them in a bit but i just felt the need to leave this "little" (it's long sorry) note:
as someone who's been raised catholic i just want to say that she is pretty wrong about almost everything she said about catholics, and i say that as someone who hates catholicism with my whole mind body and soul and who's been traumatized by this stupid fucking faith to the point where i can't get into a church without breaking into sobs dauihdasiuh. the catholic guilt is real but catholics are absolutely allowed to divorce and use contraceptives, and also have sex before marriage. the first one is met with some guilt esp from women altho honestly i think it's more due to mysoginist reasons than religious reasons, and the second and third ones are commonpractice and if you say that it's wrong and bad everyone will think you're a fucking weirdo
and even with the divorce thing, while the guilt is there (im pretty sure half the reason my mom doesn't divorce is because she would feel guilty about it, although again, i feel like that's got very little to do with religion and way more with internalized mysoginy), i cannot stress enough that divorce is allowed, almost everyone i know has divorced parents and they're all catholics. the church's official position is kinda weird (as of now pope francis basically said that it's "morally necessary" in some cases but he also referred to ppl who divorced and remarried as "imperfect", but like, it hasn't been forbidden for years, so much so that people get second marriages at catholic churches literally all the time, and i kinda feel like ppl overestimate how much ppl care about what the pope says. at least here in latam, cuz we've always kind of freestyled religion since it was imposed on us anyway, but like... in my experience the average catholic practitioner is INCREDIBLY less conservative than the vatican and i feel like most people don't even know what the pope says or doesn't say. and i'm saying that as someone whose grandfather almost became a priest and only gave that up because he fell in love with my grandmother, and he's been a ferverent catholic his entire life. also two of his kids divorced, one married a divorced woman, one is gay and living together without marriage with his divorced boyfriend, one never married, and one had two kids before marriage which necessarily means that they fucked, and none of that was ever a problem to him. oh, also, my dad had divorced AND he was a buddhist when him and my mom married. currently he is a spiritist)
i think it might be possible that u technically have to ask for "permission" to the church to remarry in church, but in practice i think it's more of a ritualistic thing than actually asking for permission, cuz i've never met a single person who had them say no. it was pretty much "hey local bishop guy so my husband sucked and we divorced can i marry again" "sure lol". obviously it sucks that you even have to ask, but it's nowhere near as strict as people seem to think
the contraceptive thing is also absurd. like i cannot stress enough that my family would absolutely flip if they found out i DIDN'T use contraception. that was always something that my family reinforced very strongly, ESPECIALLY my grandpa. i've never met a single catholic who does not teach their kids to use contraceptives. my high school was catholic (literally named the Holy Cross, fun times, although they didn't impose the faith or anything. in fact almost half of the students in that school are jewish, but like, still, there was a priest in the school board) and we were taught to use contraceptives, put the condom in a banana and the whole pizzazz during biology class
like yeah the bible says not to but it also says not to mix different fabrics and that doesn't mean it's actually a thing that's reinforced in most catholic communities doaihdaj at least not here in latam. in here non-catholic christians are actually way more hardcore about the puritanism rules than catholics are, particularly evangelicals, which are kind of overtaken the catholics' traditional role of being colonialist fuckers as they are mostly from the US so they come to further US imperialism through religion here. watch out catholic church they're coming for ur crown
and even outside of puritanism, "non practicing catholics" are absolutely a thing like ppl who are catholic but don't even pray or go to church, much less care about that shit douahdsaohj so like the stereotype that all catholics are like the very small minority of hardcore catholics is like the stereotype that every muslim lives by the ultra-conservative muslim rules. it's not true and it's stereotypical and taking the minority ultra conservatives to be the rule when they are not
there's also the fact that there are many different currents of thought inside the catholic church (a little bit like with judaism although way less flexible than judaism is), some of which are very conservative, some of which are progressive. here in latam in particular the teology of liberation is extremely popular (it's the one my family subscribes to, and i'm pretty sure it was actually born here in latam) and it's pretty progressive. for catholics, that is
and like mandatory disclaimer that i am coming from my own experiences with latam catholicism, which i feel is different from other catholic countries - my polish friends for example have experiences with catholicism that are a lot closer to those stereotypes than mine ever were - but since most of the catholic population in the world is brazilian (like me), and second place goes to mexicans, i feel pretty comfortable taking it as a ruler to measure general catholic practices
with that being said, however, the catholic church can choke and die in a fire as it is a symbol of colonialism first and foremost, its proselitism is one of the worst things ever, and even the progressive currents are still way too damn conservative for my tastes. i just don't feel comfortable transcribing something that i know is incorrect and stereotypical (and that in some cases is used to further oppression like with the Irish in the UK or armenian catholics, and i've even had some US-diaspora latinos hear some incredible things from gringos who assumed they were catholic, or, in their beautiful words, "had latino religion". but obviously in most cases catholics are the oppressors, especially here in the third world)
also, her assessment in the third video is absolutely correct. A/B/O IS just conservative gender roles born of christian and catholic imposition transposed to a fictional world where the genders have slightly different names, which is why i, as a rule, hate it dauhdsaiuhdauhda and even though the assessment that catholicism is thaaat much more conservative than other christian religions (it's absolutely not, it's Exactly As Conservative) isn't true, catholicism is still where most if not all of western conservative rethoric is born of, and ugh, it's so refreshing to see someone understand this and put it into words so well
so yeah keep that note in mind but anyway, transcriptions:
[Video transcription #1: in reply to a tiktok question, which says, "now i'm thinking about the catholic guilt that would come with it oh my god". user @Omarsbigsister is saying, "good morning", she then covers her mouth as she starts to laugh, before continuing, "I guess I'm the religious omegaverse tiktoker now. I did not know catholic guilt was more than just sex, I thought it was just about sex, but nO. people who are catholic, if you don't know, they get guilt over every little thing, they get guilty when they eat, they have guilt when, like... [dismissive gesture] they have fun... it's messed up *cut* [mumbling i don't understand, sorry] in which you HAVE to be bonded before... *sticks tongue out* *cut* and catholics, from what i know, uhm, cannot get divorced, so you can't be unbonded, you're stuck for life with that alpha or omega, and then you can't use contraceptives so if you have a heat or rut, good luck, you cannot escape it, and on top of that, they preach abstinence, right, so if you're having a heat or rut in your teen years you just gotta deal with it alone like you are not allowed to be bonded, so, that would be really intense."
#2: in response to a question, which said, "follow up question: if in the real world hijabis are women, in ABO universe would hijabis be omegas of all genders?". the user is shown stroking her chin in contemplative silence for a long time, before she says, "actually, both men and women have to wear a hijab, it's just more visible on women, but men also have to cover from like, the neck all the way down... so like when you see them [mumbling i don't understand, sorry] that's their hijab. *cut* Islam is actually treating men and women, like, fairly somewhat equally, so, I feel like in omegaverse alphas, betas, and omegas would all be held to the same standards, and alphas and omegas would also be held by the same standards but then culture would ruin it, just like western culture has ruined it. for your other question. 'would muslim families prefer betas more, and would betas be spiritual leaders', i feel like everyone prefers betas more, but then also Islam came to like, uplift women [a written note then shows up, which says, "like girls are seen as a blessing to have as kids"], so like omegas would be seen as like, a blessing to have as a child.
#3: in response to another tiktok question, which says, "fun fact bestie you cannot get divorced in the catholic religion even if your spouse is abusive and horrible to you so in omegaverse how would that work?". she replies, "the reason that Abrahamic religions seemingly fit so well into the omegaverse universe is because catholicism specifically and christianity, uhm, all the gender norms and all the cultural norms especially in the west came from catholicism and christianity, they were forced on people, and then you know, people might not be religious, but the norms stay. but now you have omegaverse which is basically just a bunch of like youth exploring the youth through this, like, werewolf fanfiction trope, using all these gender roles that you have in society on their head, so, really, what i'm saying, is that... omegaverse is just catholicism fanfiction"
#4: she looks at the camera and says, "getting islamophobic comments is one thing, but getting islamophobic comments that say that muslims cannot be in the omegaverse".... she then breaks into laughter for a solid 30 seconds
#5: she is shown reading out loud, in a mock-outraged face, a tweet that says, "about to murder tiktok they try to make Ramadan a 'quirky' trend. it's a religious holiday. stop it, get some help. /srsly /g.", then a follow-up tweet, which says, "saw a tweet saying on tiktok they are asking questions about how ramadan would work in omegaverse. i'm done with y'all, just say you disrespect muslims and go". then another tweet by a different user, which says, "i tried to read, i got secondhand embarrassment-" they then break out of character and say, "oh, that's fair," before going back, "if it wasn't ramadan i'd be boxing those people right now. those people should be ashamed to even think that way wtf". then another, which replies, "well i'm not celebrating it, so as a non-muslim, i'll happily box them". then, back to her normal voice, she says, "i really was just making a silly little tiktok and seeing that stuff really hurts... i'm just kidding, i can't keep a straight face. you like minecraft youtubers, what are you gonna do to me? what are you gonna do to me?"
#6: in reply to a tiktok ask, which said, "prince philip was an omega". she slowly films herself as she takes a walk, finds the nearest trash bin, and tosses the phone there, before putting the lid over the box. end ID]

Resurrect the WWE Tag Team Division
WWE Tag Team Division Sucks. Ok bye.
Tumblr media
OK I guess I should maybe explain.
WWE has some of,if not, the majority of the most talented, phenomenal wrestlers on the face of the earth. It's very hard to argue that. Unfortunately, only 30-40% are actually used on TV. You see, I see it, My neighbors blind dog sees it. It's been like this for the last few years. The company had created a Divas Revolution, literally jammed it down our throats because we asked for it, and so far has pushed it to the forefront. They resurrected the women's division, now maybe we should try something harder:  Resurrect the Tag Team Division.
WWE Tag Division across all 3 brands (yes NXT is a brand now) is virtually dead and decimated. In total there are 5 tag teams on Raw, 8 on Smackdown and 10 in NXT and NXT UK COMBINED. Sounds like a lot right well let's break it all down:
On Raw we have the Viking Raiders ruling the brand at Champs, with the OC, Street Profits and the AOP there as well. Considering the AOP are currently bodyguards for Seth Rollins and the 5th team being Hawkins and Ryder (who are glorified jobbers) they're only 3 Active Teams actually competing for the titles, and I know you seen Raw recently. Seeing these three teams are fine but they are getting rather tiresome very quickly. We need new blood in the tag division. They have a lot of stars just sitting on payroll and they havent been used at all recently or are just now jobbers due to not having any personality, but we can change that easily by just giving them personality via a team. Currently Rey Mysterio is in a feud with both Andrade and in a smaller way Seth Rollins. Seeing that he may shift into a feud with Seth Rollins, I say let's not do that. Once Humberto comes back from his kayfabe injury and after puts over Andrade (Seriously, don't give Humberto the title, it’ll kill the championship) you can put Humberto in a team With Rey. Kinda like a Master and Student of luchadors and have them chase the titles. Give Rey something to do for the rest of his contract in turn, makes Humberto a true student, have him team with his idol and make him like the next coming of Mexican wrestlers and when Rey is ready to leave again, you can make a new star out of Humberto due to the mentor ship or turn him heel on Rey and have him break out as another Heel latino star. In the same vain, maybe bring up Angel Garza, Humberto cousin and have them be a cocky duo that can outclass anyone. Make the cruiser weights into a tag team. The same can be said with Cedric Alexander and Akira Tozawa. Two 205 castaways that want to prove that they can survive in the land of the giants. Make them true underdogs and have them show more heart and resilience, like Paul London and Brian Kendrick back in the mid 2000s. You can boost the teams to 5 right off the bat and maybe make Hawkins and Ryder that typical loveable team that entertaining and that can be viable threats, not just jobbers.  Raw can easily boost the tag team division to 6 teams. Although it’s not a lot, it can start something that can snowball into something bigger.
Smackdown on the other hand, they have a tag division. They really do have one. As of writing, they have a total of 7 teams, 8 since Miz and Morrison are set to be a reuniting team. It would be 9 but rumor has it that the Revival are on hiatus and may be out the door soon so let's go with 6. Smackdown has the New Day ruling their land, while feuding with the aforementioned reunion of Miz and Morrison. We have Heavy Machinery doing things that isnt team stuff right now, The Usos who just returned, Ziggler and Roode, who just came back from his suspension, and three teams who are currently on milk cartons as missing children in the B-team, Lucha house Party and the Colons. 5 teams that are actually on T.V. and 3 that are not even relevant so Smackdown has a very straightforward solution. Use them. Just use them. Miz and Morrison, Ziggler and Roode, Colons and the B-team are Heels. New Day, Usos, Heavy Machinery and LHP are faces. You have a perfectly balanced crop of teams for a proper tag division to develop. You can definitely use them and Resurrect the division. Give LHP some upset wins over Roode and Ziggler, have one of the B-team members upset the Usos with cheating ways. Build them up a bit and you can have quite possibly the most underrated tag division since the mid 2000’s.
NXT, well this is kinda an issue. Their tag teams all graduated. They’re on the main roster. Currently The Undisputed era have a Horseman like choke hold on the Tag division. Mainly because they don't even have a tag division. It's like being the goodest boy in a contest against cats. Your the bestest because well, your the only one. As of today we have a total of 3 teams on regular NXT, The U.E., the Forgotten sons (who are forgotten unless they have a good team to bounce off) and Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch. This is about to change due to the debut of Alex Shelly and the reunion of the Timesplitters but I don't know if Shelly is gonna stay on for longer. Breezango keeps starting and stopping to injury so they're basically done for. In total, only 4 teams in NXT and they aren't even fighting for the titles. The U.E have literally a deathgrip on the Tag division which is good in a sense where whatever team that beats them gets an instant boost to their stock, but terrible because there are no believable teams that can beat them currently. Im calling it now, They need a superteam of two huge stars to team up to take the title off them. Either a #DIY reunion, and Dijakovic and Lee combination again or maybe Riddle and Dunne can take them out if the team sticks(which it shouldn't). NXT are gonna have to create teams just like Raw has to and they can do it but they will be sacrificing a lot of single star potential to do so. Cameron Grimes, Bronson Reed, even Matt Riddle and Pete Dunn are Single Superstars. They are meant to be single stars. Putting them in a team can work but it will be wasting their potential. NXT UK has 4 teams  in Gallus, Imperium, Grizzled Young Veterans and Flash Morgan Webster and Mark Andrews. These 4 teams are all they have and they are on the verge of getting tiresome as well. I don't know much about NXT UK and the roster so I’m not gonna talk about them so much but in NXT US, they have too many single stars. They may just have to sacrifice some of the single stars to create tag teams but I doubt Triple H would do that so unfortunately NXT may have to just suffer for now until we get some new debuts to the Black and Yellow.
Raw and Smackdown can resurrect the Tag Team Division. NXT may have to some sacrificing to rebuild theirs but Raw and Smackdown, especially Smackdown, can fix theirs. Whether its pairing two underutilized stars into a team or just using the teams you have. It’s time to address the issue. Either consolidate the belts and have them float (Which has shown to be a great idea right 24/7 title that’s mainly on Raw, right Women’s tag team titles that's only on Raw) or get off your asses and start getting the teams together. Dash and Wilder may have brought a revival to the tag team wrestling but the entire division, on all three brands, need a resurrection.

im reminded of that article i read not too long ago, i think it was pretty popular, i saw it going around a lot, and basically it was just a reporter who'd interviewed the residents of a rural PA town that had gotten publicity for being a center of staunch support for donald trump's 2016 campaign, and then the reporter went back a year later to reinterview some of those people, to see how a year might have changed things
despite the fact that things had only gotten worse for the residents-with the decline of the steel industry, poverty in the appalachian region has skyrocketed, and obviously republican measures have only exacerbated that-almost all the residents responded that they were very happy with donald trump's "progress" that they had just as much hope as before, that all of the wrongs that man had done during his short presidency were just lies spread by the liberal media, etc.
one couple shared a heartwrenching story about losing their son over the past year because of a fentanyl overdose, and the commentary on the problem of opioid addiction in the appalachian area. and the couple also had friendly conversation with the reporter, sitting down in their home, and talking about current events. they stated their disgust with the way football players were protesting during the national anthem by taking a knee, and the husband told his wife to share the joke she had about the nfl, and she said that NFL stands for "n------rs for life" and the couple laughs, and the reporter kinda just leaves it at that as like a poignant note to end on
and honestly that's just. an accurate depiction of what Most people in need are like. white supremacy and anti black racism are very specific, very real problems, but im generalizing the attitude of prejudice in general. i don't have many white family members, so most of the people ive grown up with are immigrants of color. they are probably the most horribly racist people ive ever met. i dont think they're particularly worse than the average person, i just get to see more of them than anyone else.
i have heard comments like that woman's "funny joke" before, said in heavy arabic accents. i have heard my mexican catholic family calling our arab muslim family terrorists. heard black americans hurl insults at my loved ones for being illegal aliens. etc etc. pretty much every latino ive known is conservative nd leans republican. they violently enforce gender norms, and because of that are morally opposed to gender equality, same gender marriage, respecting trans peoples genders.
people of color don't have privilege over each other, but they sure do uphold the systems of oppression that keep all of us down. people happily support a system that actively hurts them.
so i don't really care if poor white people are prejudiced or vote conservative or hate my family for "stealing their jobs" bc honestly it's te same thing ive heard all my life, and the worst homophobia, transphobia, and ableism ive experienced has been from my loved ones. people are just shitty a lot of the time. that's reality. the only difference is that some of them have entire insitutions to back up their hate, which grants them privilege. but on an individual level, no i dont see a difference. i complain about white people all the time sure, but it's not that serious. it's just a way to express my frustrations in a simple, mostly light hearted way.
but im absolutely exhausted of seeing that kind of shit in legitimate activism. thats not how it works. activism means addressing YOUR own prejudices and using YOUR societal privileges to make a difference. it means making the choice to stay committed to helping people who do not Want your help, although they need it. people who will not be grateful, who will not make it easier, who might even attack you, because in spite of all that, they still deserve to be helped. that's the sacrifice you have to make if you really want to be an activist.
you don't HAVE to do it. no one has an obligation to be completely selfless. it's okay if some people just aren't cut out for it. but please fucking stop spread even more negativity in movements that are meant to be positive. that space isn't for you then. go away. stop trying to force ur wrong opinion as objectively good politics. shut uuuuup.

Stefs hair is awesome I mean she looks so butch and it's so hot I love how they have styled it this half of the season
I love the style. I knew it was longer, so I feared it wouldn’t look good. But the stylist is on point, we don’t need to worry if Teri’s delayed in getting it trimmed. Stef is so hot, I just love looking at her.
Anonymous said:                                                                      Of Stef and Lena had been where they are now when the whole monte thing started do you think that kiss would have happened or if it had had happened Lena wouldn't have kept it from Stef?
No, not at all. I mean Lena liked the attention because Stef wasn’t giving it to her. One of the first things that happens when things start to change is that Stef cries on Lena’s shoulder. And she says, I just wanted to see you. I think one of the most important parts of being in a relationship is feeling needed. You have to feel like your partner will turn to you for support. It’s so important. In short, no Monte would not have been able to get that close.

Yep, that’s why I don’t write it with one always on top. I think for them, it’s dynamic and depends on the circumstances.

I imagine she knew fairly quickly. The position she was at school would sort of lend itself to that knowledge. So if she didn’t find out the first day, she found out fairly quickly.

We know their last Christmas was with their Mom when they were 5. Lena said they fost-adopted the twins when they were 5 and Brandon told Court that they adopted the twins when they were 6 and he was 7. Now, they've screwed with the timeline a lot but they seem to have settled on the twins being with them when they were 5. I don't think it was until the Christmas episode until we found out the twins with with Ana until they were 5 too.
We don’t really know. We know they were with her for Christmas but do we really know they weren’t moved around before that? (And I could be wrong because I never really rewatch anything but Stef and Lena). I know they came right out of a foster home when Stef met them. I have heard nothing to believe that they left Stef and Lena’s home after they arrived.
My experience with foster care is that they don’t take them away permanently at first. So I would imagine that they had been taken away from Ana before and returned. We literally don’t know. Here’s what we do know, they weren’t being raised. They were neglected in god knows what ways before that. And we know Ana was excommunicated from her home before the twins arrived. So they were exposed to her family’s culture.

You can’t be surprised by this. The fandom as a whole prefers that relationship. I like it when they mix it up. I still think Callie needs Lena.

He gives off such a weird vibe to me. I saw them on OLTL so it's not Teri that's messing up their vibe for me & this is a thought completely unrelated to her.  Their relationship just feels platonic & not couply. & he gives off an extremely self-centered vibe. Not in a narcissistic way but he definitely thinks very highly of himself. Just my opinion though. What do you think?
I don’t know Kamar, so basically all I know of him comes from their social media and from press photos. When he’s posing pictures with her, he doesn’t come off as a very warm person. He seems to be more about himself and the publicity. I have only seen one clip of them from OLTL (really only to get a comparison for Sherri’s style of kissing). The social media stuff, he seems focused on the boys. However, they’ve been married a long time so they must be real close or they’re focused on their family. Hollywood makes for volatile relationships.

Look, Callie and the moms are the angsty relationship of the show, will they, won’t they. Robert is an external threat being wielded again. I wish they wouldn’t. I fear a cliffhanger but I don’t have a single doubt that this show ends up with Callie as their daughter.  They have brought up Robert’s money and privilege, and I don’t see the writers letting that win. I don’t.

I made a whole post about this. Let me link you:
First Stef, then scroll for Lena

No, I never think death is necessary on a show. I know they didn’t want a baby on set all the time, so they did what they had to do. I still hate that Ana has a baby and Lena doesn’t. Life isn’t fucking fair.

hell yeah adamfoster. When I started my blog, there was a hellyeahstefandlena account and I kinda copied them when the few active fans decided adamsfoster would be a good tag for the ship.
Here comes all the OT questions, I deleted a few:
Anonymous said:                                                                      How do we know that Brandon's ex Cortney is white though? Like the actress is mexican so her character could be a WoC, from what I know they never stated Cortney's ethnicity so we shouldn't just assume she's white.
The actress has nothing to with character. The fosters is not shy about race and so we don’t have to guess, even about ethnicity. For instance, with one small comment we know Emma is Jewish. If they wanted us to think Cortney was Latina, we would know and same for the following question.
Anonymous said:                                                                      Mike is clearly a person of color, so why wouldnt his biological son be half of whatever Mike is?
Whatever in the fuck? Mike is a white man. I know another fandom has had a meltdown over an Italian playing a Latina, so let me tell you, it’s not the same thing at all. Just because a man is dark doesn’t mean he’s a man of color. Anyway, just as the above, if the show wanted us to think that, they would tell us. One time, a witness who ID’ed Mike mentioned he looked Mexican or Italian. That’s where many have gotten that idea, but he’s not.
Anonymous said:                                                                      what's with all this silly debate about B's ethnicity? he is entitled because of his upbringing, not because of his race. B has always been in a stable (barring mike's alcoholism) and loving household. cal and jude, however, have not, and were profoundly abused emotionally, physically, and sexually while in the system. cal and jude are white. all this white privilege "it's cause he's white" rhetoric makes the fandom sound racist.
While true, both things influence Brandon. His white race has kept him from encountering the same problems as someone like AJ. There’s a difference. So he doesn’t know how nice he has it. He has had stability at home and in society.
Interesting that you bring up Callie and Jude. Jude has a more nuanced experience because he’s gay and a foster kid. He still has white privilege. Someone pointed out that in the premiere we see a cop wanting to make sure that Jesus is interviewed for assaulting Nick, yet two white boys are seen breaking and entering into a boat to smoke weed and make out and yet they get to run away laughing and giggling as if nothing happened. Do you think if Jude had been black he would have even been allowed near the boat? Do you think the cops would have been looking for him if he had gotten to the boat itself? I think the situation would have been very different.
Callie supposedly meets a version of herself, introduced to her through Stef. I think she’s played by a black girl, and it will be interesting if she sees someone who has had it worse than her and has a positive attitude. I am interested in the parallels. Callie’s problems are often her own doing and she loves throwing pity parties. And maybe she does it because she knows she has 2 moms that will fight for her and a rich white daddy who will come to her rescue.
And people can be prejudiced against white people but not racist. Racism requires institutional power which people of color do not have.

Don’t like Noah, don’t like Jude with Noah.

I am not in love with new Jesus. I liked it better when he was more latino (-Gabe) and played by a latino. By that token, I liked Lexi and OldJesus much better than anything I’ve seen on that front.
Anonymous said:                                                                      How do you feel about Ana and Isabella moving in with Mike?
Train wreck. But you shippers feel safe, I am sure the writers think it’s cute. I think it’s creepy. He wanted to kill her and she framed him for murder. Yeah, people grow and all but I’d like for them to talk about that. Strike that, I don’t want them talking because I don’t want them taking up air time.
Anonymous said:                                                                      I really hope Callie tells someone about what happen with that guard. I prefer it to be one of the moms or AJ. I'm sure she wad scared but had to stay strong and calm at the moment.
Who knows? Police corruption is a theme this season. However, at this point, I will take this as a plot device for Callie to want to fight this all the way to trial. Much like that time they put in her in foster care for a night as a plot device to get her to look for her father.
