Jake had just finished a story about how you wherein highschool and you had slipped on the stairs and had been suspended for breaking the handle in your defense the handle was old asf you rolled your eyes while tsu’tey chuckled “you are really a klutz ma y/n” you looked offended “like i said the handle was old as hell” you finished with a chuckle

You suddenly recalled the memory and hit jake on his shoulder a habit you had while you were excited “Jake you remember that camera we took it everywhere with us” he nodded “yeah do you still have it i remember you took it out of the lab” you had rushed to you and tsu'tey’s shared home looking everywhere your kids do their chores very well thankfully so it was easy to find you grabbed it and ran back to your spot and sat down “This thing has to be at least 100 years old” jake said neytiri smacked his shoulder “do not be dramatic ma jake” jake pouted but obeyed tsu’tey had called the kids over and sat them down around you so they could see your past memories of your life

My thoughts on the pjo show (now that the season is over) (this is going to run long) Overall Rating: 8/10 :

Ok first of all, I actually LOVED the show and the cast is literally awesome; I do have some thoughts and feelings tho.

The GOOD :D

The visuals were eating ngl

THE CAST!!!! they literally were amazing cannot stress this enough

I think a lot of the changes were handled super well, especially Medusa (although I don't love all of the changes...see below in the next section lol)

I LOVED the set design for pretty much all of the scenes!!! Like the set & costuming was literally so good; sometimes it looked a little Volume-y but I think it's ok since they also clearly did a bunch of on-location stuff

Driving scene was literally so funny like no notes on that + the acting was On Point pretty much All of the Time.

I actually think they slayed with the special effects

Pretty accurate! (overall a waaaaaay better adaptation than the movies)

BLUE FOOD!!!!

More Sally content was awesome!! And I cannot stress this enough the ACTORS WERE SO GOOD in their roles!! Like I think they were the perfect choices ngl and I hope to see more of them in season 2 (if we get one, idk if its greenlit yet)

I also liked how they focused on Grover's character more (lowkey my fav now)

Genuinely had a great time watching the scenes from the books I've loved since Forever come to life onscreen!

The character dynamics were GIVING

Loved getting more info about Percy's backstory

The way they showed the Mist was honestly so cool!! This might be filed under Visuals but still...it was so cool

Fight choreo fluctuated, but I liked the Percy vs Luke fight (altho the scorpion erasure ;-;)

Again the chemistry with the actors like adkjhfdkjdfkjhdfjkhk I think the acting may have been my fav part honestly lol

All of the easter eggs for the fans!!

Rick's subtle rewriting of the story was sometimes very cool! (Like with the water grabbing Percy etc) --- you can definitely tell that he's thinking about how he'd change the story if he were to write it today

...HOWEVER i have gripes :(

THE LIGHTING WAS TOO DARK IN NIGHT SCENES!!!! HATE THAT TROPE WHY CANT I SEEEEEEEE (looking at u medusa scene)

I feel like they should've fallen into like…at least one trap without Knowing Everything about it. Like, I get the Medusa change and am pretty on board with it, but I feel like a few of the other changes weren't really necessary & messed with the stakes. A lot of the time it felt like I was watching them explain "Oh you're THIS person so you will do THIS so I will do THIS" instead of like...showing me.

Not enough blood (this is prob a Disney problem, not the show creators fault but like...cmon Disney...they have swords, let the children get More Injured...they are Fighting for their Lives)

Felt kinda...dryer than the books? idk how to explain it...like it felt like there wasn't the same Vibes in some parts if that makes sense, like they switched out a lot of funny moments (esp with how they changed Charon and the Crusty scenes lowkey im bitter)

the tone was definitely sometimes waaay different from the books (like it was way more serious I think, which is good sometimes and less good other times)

Idk if this is 100% true bc my last reread was a few months ago, but I think they separated the main trio more than in the book (?), it felt like they were duo-ed with diff members for a lot rather than building off of their main dynamic -- they had some trio moments but ig i just wanted more (again, I could be wrong on this one tho)

Lotus Casino not really being as Fun (the pumping lotus flowers in the air was a cool detail tho!)

It generally felt like they took a lot of the funny parts in favor of talking more about how messed up the gods are (which I liked sometimes!! but the kids are 12 let them have more funny moments too yaknow) (Rip the Died in the Bathtub line...gone but not forgotten)

I really didn't love the changes that made the story feel more Cliche and Basic (the ones that annoyed me were changing the entire DOA to just Some Standard Death Eater Looking Fellow & Annabeth's interactions with Cerebus being completely changed)

Mixed feelings on Gabe...I wanted him to be more evil at the beginning but I get why they changed it ig. Plus he was literally so funny when he (spoilers?) got murdered by opening someone else's mail. That's what happens when you commit a federal crime ig.

General Character Thoughts:

PERCY: Walker Scobell was such a good casting call... like you can tell he really cares about the books & getting the character right. Acting was on point, sass was on point (but I do wish he got to be sassy a bit More); Really gives off the energy of Percy Jackson and definitely was AMAZING in this role!

ANNABETH: She was spectacular in this role!! Leah got literally all of Annabeth down to a T --- her kindness, her pride, her wisdom, etc etc without resorting to any kind of "stock smart girl" vibe. She was literally SO GOOD! I loved seeing her talk about her dad, and the detail about her not having seen a movie is such a mood and so in-character lowkey. Leah really nailed Annabeth's dry humor and general vibe like dfajkhfdjhkfdhjk

GROVER: He was my favorite! Like, his acting was AMAZING fr!!! They brought a lot of newer things into his character that I think worked really well & it definitely strengthened his characterization --- he was also really funny & so sincere I just loved his portrayal of Grover!

HOWEVER I think some of the arcs are shakier since the characters didn't struggle as much, since they were figuring out a Lot of things

Overall, I took 2 points from the rating because the Spirit and Humor weren't fully there and I felt some of the changes made it feel less like the OG and more cliche (looking at u Charon). However, the great acting, pretty slay writing (except for the tone stuff), Vibes, and all the other stuff I think they did right pulled through to get it ranked a little higher lol. Plus, I liked it, even if I didn't like all of it.

No hate if u loved the show adaptation tho!! Feel free to disagree, these are just my thoughts lol. I really genuinely hope there's going to be a season 2, although I would like if they fix a few of these problems in that potential season (please...let me see what's happening in the dark scenes...please...)

I’d go off anon but I’m too much of a chicken 😅. But I’m mainly referring to like the discourse and negativity in the community about TOTK. It’s like everyone is just finding anything and everything wrong and just pulling stuff out of nowhere to complain about at this point. And if you try to say ANYTHING positive than there’s always someone telling you how wrong you apparently are. Also the whole continuity discourse. IMO Zelda stories are excellent at keeping their respective games stories contained within themselves (if that even makes any sense), but the continuity between games is almost always nonexistent. There are some exceptions though. Like look at Wind Waker and Phantom Hourglass and tell me how much those games actually connect. anyway I hope that even answers your question.

ahh, yeah. i know exactly what you mean. i think the negativity is just a vocal minority and most people really like the game. but it is frustrating.

as far as the continuity discourse goes, i dont think its really that difficult to grasp. i think most people who say it isnt consistent are people who were already unhappy with the direction of the story coming off botw and weren't paying attention as a result. it does an extremely good job of picking up where botw left off, and i definitely feel that even aoc helped set it up. as far as the continuity with the rest of the series goes, i subscribe to the refounding theory because it doesnt make sense otherwise and theres too much in-game evidence for me to see it as anything other than refounding. personally, i think the wild era trilogy is using refounding as a soft reset for the series without having to actually do a reset, setting everything so far in the future beyond any of the previous games that the cycle is starting over again, which i think is cool. we'll have to see what the next game does to be sure though.

i dont really think zelda as a series is actually inconsistent across the board, there's noticeable arcs in the storytelling across games. if it feels inconsistent, i think its mostly on the fault of the localization team taking liberties. for example, sonia being referring to as part of the hyrule clan in the japanese text but i dont think she ever was in english, which implies a hyrule family once existed in hyrule before rauru came along (aka refounding evidence). stuff like that not carrying over to the wider international audience is part of why these discourses happen, i think. also a lot of zelda lore is intentionally left up for fan interpretation and i think a lot of fans are wanting actual concrete stuff and dont wanna have to think about it themselves. this leads to people calling the lore lazy or inconsistent just because its not explicitly laid out for them.

i dont really take issue with the way zelda's lore is handled, honestly. as long as the games are fun to play, that's a lot more important to me. despite all of this rambling, im 100% a "gameplay before story" kind of guy, lol. but its still fun to think about.

also (same person who dumped like. an essay in your askbox lmao. but i absolutely love the kaitlaura dynamic and just couldn't figure out how to factor it in in the postgame headcanons. however. potentially controversial opinion but i am a firm believer in kaitlyn at the hackett house au where laura has two hands for her werewolf babygirl boyfriend and her cool, dry humored partner in literal crime with a gun. try and tell me that kaitlyn would not be extremely gay for laura acting increasingly weird and werewolfy at the hackett house. the little jump and head tilt? the bite??? anyway postgame polyamory. laura with two hands real. i know the popular poly ship is kaitlyn/ryan/dylan or the slightly less popular ryan/laura/max, but kaitlyn/laura/max is where it's at for me.

UR SO RIGHT and especially with @04choerry 's idea of max and kaitlyn getting along during camp if he were there? i am ON BOARD 100%. max gets to malewife for TWO cool badass women who can roast ur ass and handle a gun??? he's living the dream tbh and im jealous!

Promised Proposals

Y/N’s crush on Lieb came out of nowhere. One day she felt nothing but admiration and friendship and the next the way she looked at him changed. While it wasn’t a big deal, she felt different and it scared her. Jumping out of planes into enemy territory was one type of scary but trying to admit that she was falling for him was a completely different thing.

Admiring him and the concentrated look that was painted into his handsome face she couldn’t help but

“Y/N, it’s your turn.” Babe snapped her out of her daydream, swapping the darts in his hand for the drink in hers taking a mouthful. They played against Shifty and Liebgott and if the score was anything to go by Y/N and Babe were by far the better team.

Every so often Lieb would try to encourage Y/N with words of confidence that could double as borderline flirting. A couple of times she has caught Babe side eying her after one of Lieb’s suggestive comments knowing full well she was dying on the inside. Trying to brush them off as being supportive yet an attempt to distract her and close the gap on his and Shifty’s losing streak, she couldn’t ignore the heat rising to her cheeks.

“Remember Y/N,” Lieb placed both hands on her shoulders while standing behind her. He was so close to her, closer than he had ever been before, meaning she could feel his breath on the side of her face as he leaned against her as he whispered into her ear. She couldn’t hear what he said next, trying to focus her attention on the game and not on her wandering thoughts. It’s almost as if he knew what he was doing, trying to take full advantage of the situation she found herself in just so he could win a stupid game of darts.

But she couldn't let him win. She believed if she won the game she would somehow have succeeded in hiding her true feelings too. Her denial was so deep she tried to hide it by encouraging him to flirt with the waitress who had been eyeing him all night.

“If you spent half as much time,” Y/N stopped herself mid-sentence throwing the first dart towards to board. “focusing on yourself as you do me, you would’ve noticed that dame eye-fucking you by now.”

Lieb looked over at the girl, a large smirk crossing his face. The game ended as soon as Lieb skipped off in the waitress direction. He had obviously decided he was better off giving her his attention as Y/N had pointed out.

Y/N took pride in being right, going out of her way to prove a point. The irony of it all was Joe hated that she was right and always wanted to prove her wrong but in this single act he did the complete opposite of that. This time, however, she hated that she was right. She never thought she would want to be so wrong in her life.

For the next few hours, it seemed the girl had abandoned her job, focusing all her energy on the attention Joe was giving her. By all views, she seemed to be enjoying it, she laughed along with him and leaned into him when he tried to wrap his arm around her shoulder.

It bothered her it really did. All strength of her denial was washed further and further away with each roll of her eyes at the squeaky laugh that came from the waitress.

Babe nudged her, trying to distract her. He knew her feelings for Lieb although she never told him. “It can’t get any worse.”

“Do you want a bet?” Babe glanced over to where Y/N pointed to see Lieb down on one knee in front of the prettiest waitress in the bar. He wasn’t the first guy to as her to marry him, she had rejected all of them just as she appeared to be rejecting him too.

Judging by the state of Joe, he was extremely drunk and was in no state to be making life-altering decisions. If she had said yes, who knows how he would react in the morning at the realisation of what he had done.

“He won’t remember any of this in the morning.” Shifty laughed at his friend while sipping his drink. He found it all too amusing. The thought of Lieb proposing alone was humorous but the thought of him trying to be romantic and get on one knew was downright hilarious. It’s not something anyone would expect of him.

“He might not, but I will.” The sight unfolding in front of her made Y/N laugh. He couldn’t look more idiotic if he tried. “And I won’t have any problem in reminding him.”

While it didn’t bother her in the slightest, Y/N couldn’t help but feel a slight bit jealous. It wasn’t premeditated, Y/N knew that Joe hadn’t set out to ask the poor waitress to marry him. He didn’t even know her.

When Joe stood up, finally accepting defeat and rejection, Y/N expected him to be some form of heartbroken. Instead, he wore the rejection as a badge of honour. With one hand over his heart and pretending to wipe a tear away he overplayed his mock hurt, obviously finding the situation humorous.

On his way back to his friends, he high-fived a few of the guys but his eyes lit up at the sight of her. “Did you see that, Y/N?”

“Yes, Joseph, I saw all of it,” Y/N replied. Joe’s face fell a little at her tone of voice, a hint of disappointment mixed with indifference.

Drunk Lieb, when he was in the right humour, was the most entertaining thing Y/N had ever seen. He never failed to make her laugh. Whatever little self-restraint he had left was washed away with each mouthful of alcohol leaving room for bad ideas and good times.

Reaching behind Lieb to get her coat, and for his arm to pull him up, she leaned towards him “I think it’s time for you to get home.”

“I only did it because you told me to.”

“I never told you to ask her to become the future Mrs Liebgott.”

Lieb groaned grabbing the last of his drink from the table. He didn’t need anymore but he was too far gone that one more mouthful wouldn’t make too much of a difference. Before Y/N could snatch the glass from his grip Joe knocked it back against his lips meeting her unimpressed look with a shit-eating grin. He planted a wet, sloppy kiss on her cheek causing him to wobble again. The force of it alone shocked Y/N, and before she knew what to Babe had pushed her and Joe towards the door, helping her get out of there before anyone had a chance to say anything.

Did she ask him what he was doing? Why did he do that? Before Y/N had a chance to form a sentence to try to get her thoughts straight, Joe took advantage of her silence. “I didn’t like her anyway. You’re much prettier than her.”

His comment threw her thoughts into another spin. For once in her life, she was left speechless. Any other time Joe has thrown something at her, she was well prepared to return something his way.

“My Ma will love you.” He hiccuped continuing his ramblings while stumbling on loose ground. “Promise me you’ll come to see her after the war.”

After the war, Y/N thought. Would she still be here? Would Joe? It seemed like a lifetime away and she dared not to think about it. The last thing on Y/N’s mind was the end of the war and meeting Joe Liebgott’s mother was nowhere on her radar. Her only concern was getting him home safe and tucked into bed. “Yeah, sure.”

“No,” He wined and stopped walking. The last person she expected to have a temper tantrum was joe yet he stood in front of her like a child who wasn't getting his way. “You have to promise me.”

“Lieb, Alright. I promise.” With a roll of her eyes, she begged him to keep moving by linking her arm around his. The cold was starting to send shivers down her back despite having Joe so close to her. A content smile as wide as a Cheshire Cat crossed his face and he continues to lean against her as he stumbled closer to the bed that was calling his name.

Truthfully, she would have promised him anything and everything no matter what he asked her. Joe was a very convincing guy when he needed to be and it was only fuelled by the little crush she had for him.

“Y/N, will you marry me?” A gasp caught in her throat. It was the last thing Y/N expected. She never expected Joe to be the type to go around throwing out proposals to anyone who crossed his path. “I know I asked that other girl, but I don’t like her. I like you.”

She scoffed and it was her turn to stop walking with arms crossed against her chest. “I bet you say that to all the girls.”

“No.” The whine that escaped his throat was sure to wake the whole town up. Trying to make him stop and be quiet was useless. Trying to reason with Lieb on a good day was a losing battle.

With a hand firmly clasped over his mouth hoping it would somehow muffle his purring. “I’ll tell you what, if you remember this tomorrow I’ll give you my answer then.”

Joe fiercely nodded against her hand, apparently happy with her answer.

Taking her hand away from his face, she turned the handle to open the door of the house he was billeted in. “I mean, I don’t have a ring or nothin’-“

Y/N pushed him inside interrupting whatever he was going to say next. Of course, he had to say something to ruin the moment.

“Shut up, Liebgott.” She replied with a roll of her eyes and shutting it behind her before he could say anything else.

Her accommodation wasn’t too far away and she couldn’t wait to go to sleep and start tomorrow off fresh.

Surely he wouldn’t remember any of this in the morning, would he?

Its funny to me the blatant hypocrisy of the BoruSara and KawaSumi fandom and their sheer shamelessness of not even trying to conceal it

KawaSara first kicked off with chapter 28 which was centered around them and the start of their friendship, which happened in 2019.

Antis were quick to mock us for shipping them after only ONE interaction when they spent the whole chapter arguing [ignoring the end of it where she forgives and reaches out to him]

When Sarada opened up to Kawaki about her personal feelings towards her dad in the past and her experience with Naruto and envy towards Boruto, people said it was no big deal, that she didnt really open up to him and all she did was talk about Boruto and Naruto. In fact they said they never even had a conversation and only ever talk about Naruto and Boruto.

But then in 2021 when episodes 190-191 came out that focused primarily on Kawaki and Sumire, SUDDENLY having only one interaction was enough, SUDDENLY them arguing and not getting along for most of the episode was ok, SUDDENLY opening up about her personal history with her father was meaningful and significant, SUDDENLY their conversations werent just about Boruto and Naruto [which by their logic IS all they talked about]

After only TWO EPISODES of interaction between them, yes Im 100% accusing BoruSara because I have more than enough evidence to support it because thats how shameless they are they dont even try to hide it, after just 2 episodes the BoruSara jumped on the KawaSumi ship and started saying it was the definitive endgame along with BoruSara

These same people were once on the MitsuSumi and KawaHima train, do you really find it a coincidence they suddenly jumped onto KawaSumi when they only had 2 episodes of hostile interaction that has never been brought up or referenced ever again? those episodes have been treated largely as filler that literally had no impact on Kawaki whatsoever, whereas Sarada's interactions with him did.

You dont find it strange how quickly they switched up? wondering why that is? its simple, the BoruSara fandom, a very large majority of it, want to protect BoruSara at any cost, they tried it with MitsuSumi but that ship was dead on arrival, they then tried with KawaHima and pushed that for a while, but then they saw the golden opportunity to kill 2 birds with one stone thanks to SPs bullshit of including something that wasnt in the manga and completely contradicts it.

In short Kawaki and Sumire are BoruSara's biggest threats, so what better way to protect their ship and play keep away than by putting your two rivals together? do not be fooled, these people dont genuinely care about Kawaki or Sumire nor do they truly think their a good pairing, they simply want them out of the way and are trying to force them together even though Sumire has been confirmed to love Boruto TWICE.

I wont even go into the manga scenes between them because there IS none, Sumire is iliterally a bystander while the rest of the plot is just happening all around her, shes not a part of the plot shes WATCHING the plot. She's not Kawaki's nurse like fools try to say, shes literally KATASUKE'S ASSISTANT, Kawaki's ACTUAL nurse is Katasuke and Amado, Sumire just assists them and barely that since all we've seen her do is administer needles, thats it.

Yet these people insist their soulmates, why is that?

When the KawaSara fandom were excited about actual moments and development between them, Sarada reaching out to Kawaki after he had a ptsd episode, becoming his first friend, helping him to train, watching him training, comforting him when he was distraught over Naruto, opening up to him about something so personal to her that shes never told anyone else, working together to defeat Boro, Kawaki supporting her being captain over Boruto, risking his life and relying on Sarada to find the core, Sarada saving Kawaki from Boro, Sarada including Kawaki as a member of Team 7, Kawaki being grateful to Sarada for helping to save Naruto, both sharing the same idolization and admiration for Naruto, Sarada buying Kawaki flowers.

All of these meaningful moments and development of them as friends, nobody even was saying it was romantic, we just were admiring their friendship and potential to become more in the future.

What did they tell us? that we were reaching, those moments meant nothing, they hate eachother, Kawaki doesnt care about her, Sarada doesnt care about him, KawaSara is a crackship, it'll never happen theres been zero development and interaction.

Kawaki distrusted Sumire and rejected her kindness by kicking the plate of food away, fought her for trying to force him back in captivity, Kawaki was bitten and nearly killed by Nue because she was careless and disobeyed orders, Kawaki says shes a monster like him and flees, Sumire eventually finds him after having a sudden change of heart now that she believes hes 'just like her', Sumire apologizes about Nue and then opens up about her father and how Naruto and Boruto saved her etc, the whole time Kawaki is dismissive of everything she says and says he doesnt trust her or anyone, he continues telling her to leave him alone and pulls away from her but she continues to push herself on him anyway and him continues to pull away and tries to leave, she stops him because hes still injured and offers to give him a painkiller but the sight of the needle triggers him and he starts choking her, she tries to reason with him to no avail, he loses all trust in her when police and T7 show up believing everything she said was a lie to stall him, leaves her knocked out on the ground, Sumire begs Naruto to go easy on him because she somehow thinks hes the same as her despite knowing nothing about him, and thats it, these interactions are never acknowledged ever again.

Yet guess which one got all the praise and called proof that their soulmates and destined to be endgame?

5. RE: BJD Divaz

I’ve been a customer of BJD Divaz since they first started, when it was only run by Chart3rline. I even contacted other BJD companies trying to persuade them to work with Divaz as their US representative. Most declined because they didnt like D's commission fee, but I was able to persuade a few of them.

I asked them to purchase a doll off DOA because I couldnt afford the asking price, and while they did, I found out later that instead of agreeing to purchase the seller's price, they negotiated the price to be lower. This significantly cheaper price was not passed down to me. I paid the full price +the commission fee based on that full price. I am disappointed I was not told this. This is when I stopped viewing them as a "friend" and instead, as a business. I dont hold this against them, it’s context to what Im going to say later.

I’ve stopped purchasing from D after my recent order from them. This company usually takes 3 or less months to make a doll. I’ve ordered the doll from D and it took 11 months. They let me know it arrived to them in March and that it will be shipped soon, except it only shipped on July, and only after I sent them several "reminder" emails. Before people in the comments try to put the blame on me for not sending a reminder soon, please keep in mind that I acknowledged the email in March and confirmed everything and they keep stressing to not send them emails because they are busy, I’ve emailed once every month since. I’ve since switched to ACBJD and Ive been happy with communication and the dolls ordered. I imagine ACBJD gets the same amount of emails, but they dont berate their customers if they email more than once.

I regret when people wanted a D0llshe, but not deal with him, I always recommended D. I would warn people of ordering directly and instead go through D. They assured buyers they would be handling communication and all the efforts so they wouldnt worry, except they didn’t. A person that I’ve recommended D to, who surpassed 2 years, keeps messaging me for help because D wouldnt reply to their emails. She is respectful, sweet and a timid person, not a Karen. This person, emailed D without a reply so would email a week later, only to be told that their email would be pushed down to the bottom if emailed again. No response, so she goes to FB and IG, who both tell her to email because they arent the person running orders. Finally got a response that they would get their refund, after D0llshe sends D's payment, but minus the PP fees. 3 months later and theres no refund, only a promise of them getting it later. Why is the customer missing out on fees when they have no doll? Customer emails d0llshe and he says he cant offer refund, because they didn’t order through them, which is understandable, but when all options are out for a customer, do you blame them for chargebacks?

If anyone files a chargeback, D will be blacklisting them from every company they rep, as in blacklisting you from buying direct from those companies. I urge everyone who has negative experiences with D to email the companies they rep instead of venting on confession blogs, and writing your experiences on social media. Make it count and send letters to the companies they represent, and please provide proof because they will try to make you out to be a liar.

Speaking of, they made vague posts on cl0ver singing for charging paypal fees, and that they offer guarantees as an official dealer, except when offering refunds, to non delivered products I might add, they are keeping the fees, and offered no help with d0llshe, even before they ended their dealership with them. Someone on DOA was told to not email them unless the wait time surpassed 1.5 years. They are even so petty that they post screenshots with the full name and address (dox) of the customer on purpose and then delete it out a day later as if they just realized their "mistake".

Before you try to make excuses for them about the fires, keep in mind, I am dealing with a business. The lower price negotiation with the DOA sale, I am in no way obligated to give them a pass or treat them as a friend when they made it clear that our relationship is strictly business. Their issues, are not my issues. D0lk got dragged for not shipping in time, others, including artisans, got dragged for being so late with communication and sending back refunds for cancelled orders. Why does D get to be exempt?

The supporters are the worst part of this, because of instead of being honest so D can improve, they support them for being "real". For example, look how micemage words it, to make it seem like this criticism is from one person, when there are people on addicts who didn’t have good experience. Check the bjd dealers tag here, you will see the supporters in the comments going off on any and all criticism of D. Some have sane comments, but the majority are cult like and try to identify the person venting as if it’s one person. Addicts deletes threads with criticism asking people to instead direct it to their feedback group; which lets be honest, no one is going to do because its "not that bad", and most dont want to join a new group, which is mostly dead.

This is my first and last confession on D, I’ve emailed each company they rep and told them my experience as well as contacting the 3 month wait company, with screenshots of my order, how they handled it, and the excuse they used to put blame on the company for being so late (package arrived march to D, 4 months to be shipped is on D, not the company). I’m not using company or order details because I know they are petty enough to try to identify me and publicly shame me like they have to others. This and the threat of suing is why not many people like to go public with their experience. They just keep feedback neutral, move on and never deal with again.

6. Listen, I can't take you seriously in regards to BJD!vas because you're posting on a confession blog. If you were serious, you would have posted in buyer beware groups, DoA reviews or the board to get things resolved, or you would have made a complaint to the BBB. And your language makes you come off more as someone with an agenda rather than someone who is trying to warn people. If shipping is the issue, stop buying with standard shipping and pay the extra price for express shipping. I saw one of you complain that it sat with them for 20 days; that's probably because you're not the only one and they more than likely have a queue to check and then ship out. Do mistakes happen? Yes, because we're human. I've been in this hobby for a few years now and it seems like most people know you're going to have to wait, sometimes even outside the expected wait time. And shipping something as big as a doll is a timely endeavor. I shouldn't have to say that.

My point is simply to stop complaining on an confession board and either take it to the places previously mentioned. Posting here behind the anonymous mask makes you sound like a petulant child who didn't get their way right away.

7.My only issue with BJD Divaz is how I never get any updates. Every email, they tell me to join their facebook page for status updates. I dont have a FB and I dont want to create one. I bought my doll through their website, updates should be posted on their website, or they could send me an email. That isnt asking much.

8. Since there seems to be a lot of either "completely negative everything sucks" or "everything was sunshine and rainbows" confessions about bjd!vaz I thought I'd chime in with a neutral review.

PROS

-They were always polite and professional in their emails, and gave me very detailed answers to my questions.

-I got exactly what I ordered, so no mix ups or missing parts or anything like that.

-I think them being forthcoming about personal issues (only one person on staff, illness, the flooding isue etc.) on social media is good, since it keeps customers updated as to why there might be delays.

-If you live in the US their shipping is very reasonable.

CONS

-Reply times were varied. Sometimes it could take over a week, sometimes a couple hours.

-My order took about 10mo which, when comparing to other people who ordered through the same company around the same time, was about 3x as long as if I bought it direct and 2x as long if I had gone through a different dealer. I get some of the waiting time is out of their control, but it was kind of ridiculous.

-They dont necessarily ship the same day they send you a tracking number. I wish they said something like, "Here's your tracking number, our pickup is Xday so it should start moving after that" just so I could be aware.

All in all no major complaints. I got my doll and all that. Their lone employee is clearly overwhelmed. I hope they hire another person, if only to give the one a break.

Truthfully, I most likely won't buy through them again. I'd rather pay the international shipping and go direct, than deal with the extensive wait time. I'd still recommend them to someone looking for a very long layaway, though. I paid in full, but if I had a 12mo layaway I would've never known they weren't ready to ship my doll until month 10.

“well I only have the instrumentals for the songs but I can play one live?”

her laugh was such a gift. I could tell jokes all day just to hear her laugh again. 

she played a beautiful song that was slow and powerful and all about heartbreak. it hurt to hear her go through that. then benny asked for another song. this one was more pop. like id hear it on the radio, but still deep. 

the rest of the night was them composing songs and some stupid jokes here and there. safe to say she's the most down to earth and funny person in the room. the fans will go crazy that im here with her. im going crazy that im here with her.

I spent the whole night in the studio with some amazing people. I found myself taking it all in and being so thankful for my life. ive known of David and watched his vlogs pretty frequently too, but being with him was a whole different experience. he gave great advice and genuinely helped me through some of my block. he gave a listeners point of view and had fresh ears. it was nice. he even offered to walk me to my car.

“I figured you'd have like a limo waiting for you outside or something.” he joked as we walked toward the street.

“nope, that's just youtubers.” I joked back.

“No! I can’t breathe.” Namjoon says trying to breath. “Here’s an actual snack.” Namjoon passes you a little candy finally putting it in your mouth you felt your mouth increase in saliva. Smiling with the tastiness of the sweet candy.

“You’re forgiven.” You kissed him, Namjoon able to taste the sweet candy in your lips grinning.

Kim Seokjin:

“Okay never have I ever, right that’s the name of the game?” Seokjin raises his cup of noodles. Slurping on the savory noodles.

“Yeah, it would be fun. Plus ARMY can get to know us more.” You gestured towards the camera while kicking your feet on the other empty seat.

“You start.” Seokjin wanted to get a taste of the game before he asked a question. You nod sipping some water.

“Okay... never have I ever, stole someone’s underwear.” You wiggled your eyebrows seeing Seokjin put his finger down.

“I don’t wanna talk about it!” Seokjin raises his hands while you tilt your head.

“I had to! You know when we traveled and I didn’t pack enough but you always bring so many! So I borrowed-” Seokjin tried his best to explain his side of the story despite how it seems.

“You’re just like Yoongi!” You laughed loudly as Seokjin looked away from the camera. Embarrassing himself he kept eating his noodles.

“My turn!” Seokjin yells out, you still catching your breath.

“Never have I ever pulled an all nighter.” Seokjin sees your finger go down. You ate some of your meal before going into detail.

“The maknae line wanted me to stay up with them to play some game. Last time I looked at the clock it was 1am and then later light came in through the windows.” You get chills from that night, the lecture you got from Namjoon after being exhausted was terrifying.

“Let’s have it be ARMY’s turn. Ask us a question.” You spoke to the camera while you waited for responses.

“Never have I ever been in love.” Seokjin read out while you put your finger down turning to Seokjin. Seeing his finger was also down, you couldn’t handle the cuteness while you pouted.

“What?” Seokjin asks while you turned to the camera and back to him. “You love me?” You ask while Seokjin scoffs grinning.

“Of course I do. I love you.” Seokjin kisses your forehead while you cover the camera.

“This is becoming too cute holy shit.”

“Don’t curse!” Seokjin lectures you while you lower your head. “I forget!” You chuckle while Seokjin takes you in his arms. The camera uncovered seeing the very wholesome scene.

Min Yoongi:

“Special live today Army! Very special.” You rub your hands together planning your surprise event. Before going into the event, you asked how they were and saying hello.

“Now you must wonder; what is ‘Y/N’ going to do? Well I’m cooking for Yoongi. Very scary considering it’s the first meal I’ve cooked for him.” You show the printed recipe the picture showing the nicely presented noodles. The large grocery bag on the kitchen counter filled with the freshest ingredients you could find at the grocery store.

“He is a bit under the weather so I thought I would make him something warm!” After explaining what you are doing you called Yoongi down, he saw the camera set up and you gestured him to be off the camera view. He looks at you gratefully. You knew he didn’t want to be on camera right now.

“You’re cooking for me?” Yoongi asks his voice sounding groggy while you showed the recipe. “Do you want me to help you?” He asks while checking you had the right materials for the ramen. You grab the bag from him waving your finger. “No this is for you! I can do it!” Yoongi snickers from your overdetermined to make him happy.

“Please don’t burn the house down.” Yoongi teases watching you chop up the vegetables. “Is this for a special occasion?” Yoongi asks wondering if he deserved this, this small act of compassion from you. You lifted your head up realizing that Yoongi was serious, muting the mic on the camera you walked to him. Wrapping him around your arms pulling him into your chest. “I want to cook for you baby, you don’t have to do anything special in order for me to show just how much I love you and appreciate you for all you do for us.” Yoongi looks up from your chest his eyes shining.

“Thank you, now go back and go cook for ARMY.” Yoongi pecks you a kiss.

“Okay back to cooking! Sorry!” You giggle finding the vegetables you were cutting just a minute ago.

“You forgot to boil the water.” Yoongi points at the empty pot and the stove that was off. Looking up from the cutting board you quickly started that, seeing him chuckle at your simple mistake.

“Okay so how exactly do you make ramen?” You raise your eyebrow, not wanting to make something Yoongi wouldn’t like.

“I’ll tell you how to do it my favorite way.” Yoongi gestures you to get the seasoning in the upper cannot. “Sorry I didn’t make it myself.” You apologize while Yoongi brushes it off, still finding this small gesture huge in his heart.

“Being made by you, makes it 100 times more special even if it would’ve been packaged ramen.” Yoongi blows a small kiss at you while you smile at him.

Jung Hoseok:

Hoseok wanted to make sure he was live once and a while seeing that it was quite empty lately due to how busy they are being idols. Hoseok told the other members including you that he was going to go live last minute.

“Hi ARMY, how’s it going today?” Hoseok waves at the camera seeing all the comments filled with love and hello’s back.

Hoseok talked about his daily life and how his projects are going. Also bringing up, you a couple times without giving personal information. “All the members are busy so they can’t stop to say hello.” Hoseok frowns continuing to talk.

Hoseok suddenly hears the door being knocked. He jumps in his chair from your loud whines. Hoseok raises his eyebrows hearing you.

“Let me in! Let me in!” You knock once again, seeing people walk by his studio.

“Y/N! Aren’t you working?” Hoseok calls out leaning back in his office chair giggling.

“It can wait!” You pressed your body against the door Hoseok able to see your smooched up face against the door.

“Tell the ARMY I love them!” You scream through the door while Hoseok turns his head to a bunch of comments telling him to open the door.

“I’m coming darling I’m coming.” Hoseok chuckles opening the door to you still pretending you were against the door.

“Thank you!” You kissed him while he scoffs giving you a hug. He grabbed another chair for you to sit in while you wave at the camera.

“How’s work going?” Hoseok asks while you turn to Hoseok getting comfortable.

“Namjoon says we are making progress but it’s gonna take some more time. Yoongi likes the song though so I’m glad I can make him happy.” You gave him a flash drive of the rough draft of the song.

“I’ll give it a listen later, it’s a secret from ARMY.” Hoseok winks at the camera, while placing the flash drive on his desk.

“Did you leave mid session to join me?” Hoseok blushes while you nod. Hoseok suddenly hugs you and kisses your cheek.

“I didn’t want you to be alone.” You pat his back giving a smile.

“I love you more then anything.” Hoseok whispers, these small actions make his heart burst with love. Actions speak volumes to Hoseok, and he couldn’t imagine not being with you.

Park Jimin:

“Baby.” You kiss his neck basically being that annoying couple showing physical attaction at any second. “I’m live, army don’t want to see this.” Jimin giggles leaning on your head while you were in the crook of his neck.

“Look they want to watch it, right? Right.” Looking up from his neck seeing the comments flooding with “cutie” and “i love you two”.

“Army be honest with us!” Jimin starts to uncontrollably giggling. You tickling him on the couch him barely able to hold the camera.

“Stop tickling me! Y/N!” Jimin pushes you off out of breath from laughing. You kissed his forehead before going back to the vlive.

Jimin reads the comments on the live about how you look at him with love eyes. “He does?” Jimin speaks out turning his head to see you completely hypotinzed from his beauty. “Baby.” Jimin snaps you out of it.

“Huh?” You blink a couple times before Jimin smiles widely at your own love eyes. Jimin kissing you on the cheek while you get flustered.

“I love you.” Jimin softly spoke while you held his hand under the camera. “I love you too.” You leaned on his shoulder while the comments went insane.

Jimin attempted to read the comments but before he could finish they would get drowned out from other comments. “I can’t read what they are saying.” Jimin tells you while you also try to read the comments.

“What song should we play?” You ask Jimin while he clicks on the playlist he made for you. Playing one of his favorite songs on there.

“We should dance!” Jimin jumps up from the couch while gesturing you take his hand. When you got up you moved the camera to the side of the room able to see You and Jimin.

“Don’t drop me.” You say while Jimin winks at you. “You’re talking to professional dancer me. I wont!” Jimin starts slowly with you before he attempts to spin you.

“Spin the other way.” Jimin instructs you while another attempt you two successfully did a spin. You enjoyed being in Jimin’s arms as you kissed him.

“Alright this is turning into a private lesson between me and Y/N.” Jimin chuckles towards the camera while he waves at the camera. You joining him.

“Wow they really don’t want us to go!” Jimin giggles at your comment still waving. Covering the camera you kiss him again off camera.

“Back to dancing?”

Kim Taehyung:

“You called me?” Taehyung peeked his head into your live, having a really nice black outfit looking like a million bucks in a casual outfit.

But then again when does he not?

“Wow you look good, whats the occasion?” You spoke out to him, seeing him get a bit flustered and grin. “I just got back with the boys not too long ago. I missed you though.” Taehyung pulled you off the live camera view and kissed you. “Missed you too.” You lowered your hands to his waist seeing Taehyung raise his eyebrows.

“We should go back before they think we are actually fucking.” Taehyung snorts grabbing your hand and shoving you back on the chair you were on. Taehyung joining you with a bottle of some Soju.

Drinks were shared and trivia answers were made that neither of you could answer half the time. The army watching enjoying this a little too much seeing their idols have a fun relaxing time.

“Isnt it Y=MX+B?” You sipped on your wine glass filled with Soju, Taehyung hugging you laughing. “We are stupid.”

“Why are they giving us hard questions? Give us like ‘name Taehyung’s favorite everything.” You snorted actually trying to remember Taehyung’s favorite things. Taehyung turned to you expecting you to answer.

You started to name most such as color, food, artist, game, etc blanking out sometimes before answering again with more favorites of his.Taehyung actually impressed that you paid so much attention to detail about him. It was a nice fuzzy feeling that the alcohol didn’t create.

Knocks were heard from the outside of the hotel room, you got up and wobbled there and saw Namjoon on the other side.

“Uh oh.” You looked at Taehyung and signaled to cut the cameras and end the live seeing a very angry Namjoon crossing his hands. “Alright goodbye army! Thank you for all your support and we love you.” Taehyung quickly announces his goodbye ending tbe live.

“Love birds open the door!” Namjoon bangs on the door, you open the door with Taehyung behind you resting on your shoulder clearly drunk out of his mind.

“Namjoon! What time is it?” Looking for your phone you patted on your pants seeing your pockets were empty. “It’s 3am.” Namjoon grumbles in his sleepwear and walks in to see bottles of Soju empty.

“Go to bed now.” Namjoon points at the bed, seeing you and Taehyung giggle at eachother. Face hot of alcohol and Taehyung blushing stripping off his black clothes before jumping on the bed.

Namjoon chuckling before leaving the room, making sure you locked the door. You and Taehyung shared drunk secrets and some drunk tears but at the end you had an amazing night with the one you missed so dearly.

Jeon Jungkook:

“Y/N! Come on the live!” Jungkook yells from his hotel room, you peeking out of the bathroom door. Your hair wet and your face fresh. Jungkook tilted his head and smiled giving you an indirect sign to hurry up.

“Give me a minute!” You yell out closing the door, Jungkook turning his head back to the camera snickering. “He’s going to be a bit late.” He leans towards the camera seeing the floods of comments pouring in.

“Tell him to come out anyway?” Jungkook read the comment out loud being flushed before shutting it down. “Only I get to see that. You guys get him on stage and what he shows there.” Jungkook winks going back to the comments.

You open the door, running the towel through your hair before setting it down and walking towards Jungkook, wrapping your hands around his shoulders giving him a bear squeeze.

“Baby.” You whisper in his ear kissing his neck. You gave a quick glance towards the comments seeing many “hello’s” and other people freaking out about the relationship.

“What did ARMY want? Hello! Welcome to our vlive. I apologize for showing up a little late.” You rubbed the back of your neck, grabbing a quick chair from behind you to sit next to Jungkook. “How was everyone’s day?” You ask trying to read as many comments before they get pushed away from the other comments.

“What did you plan to do this live?” You ask Jungkook turning. He was playing with his playlist deciding what music to play. “Hmm I wasn’t quite sure.”

“How does Jungkook’s lips taste?” You read widening your eyes, glancing at his lips before answering “like heaven”. Continuing to try to see the good questions you found another “How does touring with your boyfriend and band member work out?”

You passed on the question to Jungkook. Allowing him to think about the question before answering he finally replies with. “It’s a bit double edge sword, yeah I see him everyday and we are working towards our passions together. But on the downside we can’t really go out or when we come home we are exhausted and worn out.” Jungkook explains while you paid great attention to him nodding along with his points.

“Do you two cuddle?” Jungkook repeated a question.

“Of course I wouldn’t survive without him cuddling me to sleep.” Jungkook chuckled at that question, seeing that how much you two cuddle it’s like you were glued together.

“We should do a cuddle stream.” You suggested the idea seeing Jungkook be turned off immediately, questioning how it would work.

“How would we do that?”

“Like this!” You grabbed him from the couch, draping him over your shoulder while he yells out to put him down. Settling him down on the bed you went back to the camera waving “Goodbye! Have an amazing night and day!” Cutting it off for the day.

he says he’s a fan of the Backstreet Boys but he only listens to ‘I Want it That Way’. once, he was talking to an Actual Fan and they asked him if they liked a particular album and kuroo just panicked and yelled ‘tELL ME WHY’

C - Crocs.  Would they wear them? What kind would they wear?

wears them for the specific reason that people hate them. he’ll take aesthetic ootd pics of him in leather jackets and tight jeans with thE UGLIEST PAIR OF CROCS YOU���VE EVER SEEN. he’ll even put his feet up in class to show of his ‘bad boys’

D - Dream. The weirdest, most disturbing dream that they had.  

he once dreamt that he was short, shorter than hinata, and playing during Nationals. kenma set the ball to him and when kuroo was about to jump, he realized that the volleyball was actually a pokeball. he woke up screaming and crying about the pokeball being a void of nothingness.

E - Existential Crisis.  What caused it? What do they do during this crisis?

it happened during his first day studying biochemistry. the professor put up a documentary about the origins of life. kuroo stood up in the middle of the class and said ‘everything’s?? chemicals??’ and left, looking absolutely distraught

F - Fried.  A cooking disaster that they somehow caused.

it was an honest mistake of accidentally rubbing his eyes while chopping chilies. kenma walked in on kuroo with his face dunked in a bowl of milk and said ‘ew, you put the milk first?’

G - Good Morning. What actually wakes them up in the morning?

L - Liquor. The dumbest thing they did when they got drunk

Time never had passed as slowly, it felt like. Okay that obviously was an exaggeration, but it didn’t feel any less true at the moment, that Jens watched the digital clock of the reciever change from 44 to 45.

„So just Lucas is missing now, right?“ Zoë asked into the group as they finisched up, pushing all the furniture out of the way. The floor was scattered with pillows and blankets arranged in some sorry excuses of four circles. Sprinkled in between them, pens, paper and bowls full of all kind of sweets and crisps. The actual food was waiting in the kitchen for them, ready to be stacked on big plates. Plus the bottles of alcohol cooling in the fridge.

„Seems like it. Amber, did he text you yet?“ Yasmina said, looking over to the blond, who just had helped Aaron carry out the couch table into Milan’s room. 

„I can check again, but the last thing I got, was his message after school to tell me, he’d swing by his house and bring some beer later.“ She replied, taking out the phone from her cardigan’s pocket. She didn’t had to search though, as just in that moment the door bell rang.

„I’m gonna get it.“ Jens proclaimend, already on his feet and leaving the living room, checking the flat’s hallway, it seemed, he was on his own. Good, because before he went straight to open the door, he glanced at himself in the mirror, trying to get the last strands of his hair into a position he thought looked alright on him. Taking a deep breath, he put his right hand on the door handle and turned the knob. He was greeted with Lucas’s smiling, puffing air, a woolen hat pulled down to almost his brows. His cheeks held a faint red, that Jens found endearing.

„Hi.“

„Hi.“ Jens reprocrated just as awkward as they stood in the door way staring at each other. The déjà vu of their instagram chat hit him instantly. Not that it made this situation any better.

„You look good, should I have come dressed up?“ Jens was as always confused, when Lucas said anything that sounded remotely flirtatious. He wasn’t sure how to handle the dutch boy. This was so far out of his comfort zone. Usually it was on him to be the active part and take the first step with girls.

„I am literally wearing a hoodie and jeans, dude.“

„Doesn’t mean you don’t look great in it.“ Lucas doubled down on it. Shit, was he blushing? Shit, were they both blushing?

„Is that Lucas, or what?“ Zoë shouted from the living room, and it dawned on Jens, that he should have let the boy step into the flat.

„Fuck, sorry, eh, come in.“ Jens stepped aside a little, to make room for the missing guest to enter.

„I would be just as fine leaving again, if you came with me. I know this really nice bus stop half an hour away, that has an awfully similar name to this one here. It’s great, stunning even. It has a supermarket close by, and lot’s of houses and...”, he paused contemplating, “...that’s really it, I’m afraid. But I fortunately went to the wrong stop, so I may show you my detour as your own personal guide.“

If Jens already wouldn’t be afraid that he was about to fall for this boy, it certainly was settled now, as he had trouble taking his eyes of the smirking lips in front of him. He was so close to grab his jacket and close the damn door behind them on their way out.

„Jens?“ It echoed through the staircase, as now Milan made sure that the whole house must have heard his name.

„Yes, we are coming, let that poor guy arrive in peace.“ Jens turned his head away briefly and yelled, before looking back at Lucas. 

„Sorry, another time maybe?“ He tried to hide his disappointment. Jens felt like he wasted one of the rare chances of getting somewhere in this.

„Yeah, that’s propably for the best anyway. It is fucking freezing outside. A cosy evening in sounds great actually. And I don’t think the bus stop will wander off on it’s own.“ Lucas said, as if he meant to promise it to Jens. Another time then. For now he helped to take the heavy bag filled with bottles of beer from him, as Lucas took off his jacket, throwing it onto the ton of coats on the hangers.

„Evening!“ He greeted joyfully, as he stepped into the door to the living room, in which everyone by now had settled.

„I am super sorry, guys. I actually took a wrong bus to a wrong bus stop and that cost me at least 40 minutes. Also my phone kinda died on me, could I charge it somewhere?“ He explained his late arrival and handed the phone to Aaron, who had offered to connect it  to a charger by the bookshelf.

„Eh, right, so to everyone who hasn’t met me yet, Im Lucas from the Netherlands. Hi! I’m really happy that I could join you today. Thank you so much for the invitation. Jens took the beer. Not sure if it was the wrong decision to leave him alone with the alcohol though, but now it’s too late.“ There wasn’t really any ice to break between them, but a little joke did seem to be a good choice, considering having 11 people stare straight up at the new boy. Most he already knew from school, but not all of them.

„I like him.“ Milan declared first and got up from his spot, to walk over and pull him into a hug.

„You aren’t gay by any chance?“ He asked confidently, leaning into the dutch boy, who didn’t quite moved away, but certainly looked to do so any second now.

„Milan! Lucas is here for one minute and already probably regrets having come in the first place, let him actually get to know all of us first. Poor Robbe last year and now this guy. Also, underage. Shame on you.“ Jens passed Lucas to blow a kiss on Milan’s cheek and pull him away by his hand. He went to join Sander and Robbe on the other end of the room, not before briefly turning around, to wink at Lucas. In return Jens was greeted with Lucas mouthing back in silence:

To be honest, he just really didn’t like another guy making advances on Lucas. Not that he was actually sure that the dutch boy was really into guys, but he feared he wouldn’t have wanted a girl for Lucas either.

„Well, I’m Senne. And no worries, I’m definitely not gonna make a move on you, though with Milan around you should get used to it. I’m Zoë’s boyfriend by the way.“ He introduced himself first before Zoë next to him went on to take over. „Well the guys from school you are familiar with. And Milan you just met. Eh, the boy next to Robbe is Sander. Robbe’s boyfriend.“

„Oh him, I know. We are in on a two-day-deep conversation about music. Or should I say argument.“ Lucas interrupted while sending a salute over to Sander. Much to everyone’s surprise. Well Robbe seemed to have known, but to Jens that was news. All they had exchanged where two emberrasing ‘hellos’.

„Okay, great, than that just leaves Noor, who sits next to them. Robbe’s ex-girllfriend.“ Zoë added, as if that wasn’t a wierd thing to say, and then gestured him to join Senne and her. „You are on our team.“ She explained and pushed a bowl aside so Lucas had space to fit somewhere. This room was most definitely too small to host 13 people. 

„Welcome, welcome!“ Milan began, standing up and doing a little bow in greeting. The born entertainer, as he then presented the room with a white board, listing all the teams on it, as well as some space to count points.

And off the teens went.

They lost that night.

Not that they ever had a chance of winning, with Jens and Robbe being absolutely useless to Sander. Who tried his hardest to make up for it on his own, while the two boys giggled and joked at almost every question they got, not having the slightest clue what to answer. 

They ranked dead last, at a solid 41 out of 100 points.

It took Robbe an outright minute of pecking kisses all over Sander’s face to get his boyfriend back into a better mood. Still Sander sat cross-legged hung up in a deep sulk, yet smirking lightly at their devestating failure written across the white board. Jens didn’t mind their loss at all, as he watched Lucas squeak in his pure childish excitment over the annoucement of his team’s win. 94 points. Zoe, Senne and him jumping up and down in a group hug, celebrating, even though all they had won was a ‘Milan is the best’ coffee mug.

Last night got really exciting after I got my post up! Me and James were laying in bed watching a video and all of a sudden out of the window at the end of our bed there was an explosion. The fuse on the powerline blew up and was on fire. It was really scary. I went into leader mode though. Threw on sweatpants and told James to call 911 while I called the power company. 

I got frustrated when I couldnt get anyone on the phone and then James was like. Telling the 911 operator everything was alright because they do this fawn reaction when they're nervous. So Im yelling "Its not fine! There was an explosion!" Once they were off the phone they went down to the alley to make sure the fire was out. I went out on the fire escape to see what other houses power was out. Because out power was very out. I did finally get a person on the line with the power company though just as the fire department was showing up. The man on the phone was very nice and said that the crew would be there soon and everything was safe. So I went to find a flash light, found the string lights James got me for chirstmas. Had to plug them into my battery pack because I hadnt charged them recently. But James came back upstairs soon and the fire department left. And the electric men were there. And so we watched them fix the fuse and restored power to us and 250 other homes. It was really fun to watch and learn what each piece went into the fixing of the fuse. It was very neat. 

We both had a lot of energy from all the comotion though. We had been keeping our neighbors informed in a group chat. And apparently someone called Mr Will and told him me and James handled everything and he was very proud of us. 

We did eventually fall asleep and I slept great actually. I didnt want to get up because I was cozy. But I was awake and out of bed around 10. It was nice to just have a lazy day.

I got dressed in a tshirt dress and sweater. It was rainy and windy today. James made us crepes. And once breakfast was done we got to work cleaning the apartment. 

I vaccumed and cleaned the bathroom. James tidied things and out stuff away. We are a good team. We also did some planting of seeds and well see how those go. It was fun to do regardless. I hope our seeds grow but even if not it was still fun. 

We had leftover pizza for lunch. And I sorted all my jewelry. Changed my piercings out. We made a grocery list. And soon we were out into the world. 

We went to the grocery store and I got things to make lunch for the week. I wanted to make cheese boards for myself. We also got some flowers and snacks.  I had a nice time looking around and being out with James. But I was getting a little tired of the people. When we got there it was very busy but we lucked out and once we were done there wasnt even a line. 

We got out of there and headed home. Brought things inside. James put away the foods. And I went to pack my camp bag. I decided to take a video of the packing and that was fun. I love my new backpack. I packed a few extra things like bug spray that I probably wont need this week. But I feel very prepared. 

I spent a lot of time just chilling. James did the stationary bike in the living room and I cleaned our bedroom closet. It was fun to tidey. 

I laid around for a little while. James played a video game. And I got on the switch when they were done to play animal crossing. 

And today was the first day of Bunny Day! The game's easter holiday. So I had a blast collecting eggs. Its funny, last year everyone hated bunny day, but really that was because we all just started playing and we wanted the fish and stuff. But now I have all the things, so getting eggs was just really exciting. To the point whenever I caught a fish and not an egg I was like. Ew a fish. 

I finished up playing. Had dinner. Laid on the couch. Just rested. It was nice. 

James has the last game of weekly trivia tonight. And I took a nice bath. Painted my nails. And now Im cuddling with sweetP and watching a video. It was a really nice day. 

And tomorrow is camp!!! Im so excited. I know its only 3 days and its going to be hard work and a lot of energy, but its going to be great. Im super jazzed. 

I will leave here tomorrow very early. James is going to ride 100 miles tomorrow and leave a little after I wake up. And Ill be home sometime around 530? Maybe 6? Well see. Im excited though. Wish me luck everyone and wish for good weather. Goodnight friends!

In an au where Kagami is part of the class, jealousy wouldn't make much sense, but could see Lila trying to claim/ convince Kagami that Mari is only befriending her to exploit her. If Kagami joins while Lila is "on vacation" Kagami and Mari could already be friends

Oh! This got kinda long.

Okay, I'm going to type out the marigami Friendship stuff first, then come back around to Lila!  Kagami is initially just as socially awkward as Canon. She is trying to make friends but doesn't... quite have the skills. Most of the class realize that she's trying, but don't go out of the way to invite her to things. Adrien does try a bit harder, knowing how hard it is to be a socially awkward new kid, and does become her first friend and also a crush. Marinette had been in the "be nice but doesn't really know how to get close to her" group before this. Her jealousy does spike a little seeing Adrien pay attention to Kagami, but she's more "I want to be with him but if I lost my chance I lost my chance". The rest of the girls push her to fight for him though. Marinette and Kagami do initially have a rivalry, as neither are intent on giving up Adrien. However, since they're forced to interact more, that doesn't last long. They do end up talking while paired up for an assignment, and the next day they're friends. After a while of being friends, they do discuss the Adrien situation. Because while neither wants to give up, they don't want to hurt each other in the process. This results in them laying out ground rules: -both are allowed to pursue Adrien -they should refrain from stealing him away from a conversation with the other unless it is important/time sensitive -no direct sabotage. This should go without saying because they are friends, but no messing with each other to make each other look bad, or ruining a plan to confess/ask him out. -No matter what, it is ultimately Adrien's choice on who he chooses, even if it's not them. -Speaking of, should any other people be interested in Adrien, they will be brought in on the rules. That last one brings them around to bringing Chloé in on this since she seems to also be a rival. They don't expect it to go well, but since Chloé is attempting to be nice they decide to give it a shot. It actually goes better than expected because Chloé confesses that her 'crush' on Adrien was half general possessiveness and half 'he's probably the only romantic partner my mother would approve of for me, and even then she thinks he can do better', but she's trying not to do all that anymore so she's taking herself out of the running completely. Chloé asks why they're doing all this instead of taking the 'anything to win' method, and Mari's just like "what would you do if you and Adrien were crushing on the same person?". Chloé immediately remembers Ladybug and dies a little inside. I'm also gonna toss in the setup to my usual ship by saying they have the same conversation with Luka. He's surprised by how much they thought this out and by the overall maturity this entails. And naturally agrees to the rules. Now, while they don't go into detail on their list of rules with others, they do tell everyone that they have it handled. Last note for the friendship: Ryuko shows up in Season 2 instead of Season 3. Idk when but let's toss her in there! Well then. Now we get to Lila coming back. Everyone had already kind written off Mari's issues with Lila as jealousy back in Volpina, so they assume that's still the problem. At first, they don't think about it too much until someone points out "hey, you and Kagami have an agreement, why not do the same with Lila?". Lila still manages to convince them that it is about Jealousy once Kagami expresses her agreement with Mari about Lila being a liar. She says that they must have an agreement of "let's team up to eliminate the competition!". The class is a bit more skeptical, but.... Look. I wrote before on my feelings toward why the class believed Lila so easily. The two biggest relevant here are: 1.) "telling them what they want to hear", which was that they wanted to believe both Marinette and Lila are good people. They'd rather believe that Marinette is making mistakes out of jealousy than believe that their new friend is an awful person 2.) their experience with jerk people so far is more bullies like Chloé was. People who are awful 100% of the time. The idea of someone being kind to some people and awful to others, or even faking being nice for more than a short period, aren't things they've had to really face and don't recognize just yet. So yeah. They end up thinking Marinette and Kagami are actin out of jealousy, and don't think Lila is a bad person because they see her being super nice! Marinette runs off in frustration like she did in the episode, and Kagami follows to help her calm down. Im debating about adding Chloé to this because I can. Fuck it. She knows about their Agreement and how they were ready to bring her in on it, so she knows something's up and follows them too. Lila follows and this goes down similarly. She pretends to be nice, the three are like "BINCH!!!!". So Lila resorts to threats. Mari is the one who panics the most, but Kagami and Chloé help to calm her down in their own ways. Kagami reminds her that they do have plenty of options to show their classmates the truth. Chloé's more like "you stand up to me all the time so you'd better not let this fake ass bitch be the one to break you!" Meanwhile Adrien's confrontation with Lila goes the same and Lila ends up stealing the Butterfly that had gone for Mari earlier. The fight goes pretty much the same other than Mari having a trickier time getting away from Chloé and Kagami to actually fight. As for the ending of the episode: When Adrien suggests the initial strategy of ignoring her and letting her lie herself into a corner, Kagami and Chloé aren't cowards and push him to have more of a conversation as to why he thinks that's a good idea. He doesn't, but: 1.) no one believed Marinette and Kagami, so he probably wouldn't be believed either 2.) the only lies he's seen so far are mildly harmless "give me attention" lies that are probably her misguided attempts at making friends quickly as a new kid. It's not good, but unless it gets worse it should fizzle out soon 3.) calling Lila out, either publicly or privately, gets her Akumatized. If she's going to get Akumatized every time, why not minimize Akumatizations by waiting until they can actually convince the class? While they get his point, Kagami and Chloé aren't afraid to tell him that Lila is actually a problem, straight up threatened them, and Mari nearly got Akumatized. With that knowledge, the original plan is thrown out the window. Adrien is ready to fucking fight. They agree that while they're not ignoring Lila, they are hanging back and gathering information on her lies while using teamwork to counteract any of her attempts at making them look bad. The plot twist is that despite their planning, Luka is the one who accidentally outs Lila's lies. Because Juleka and Rose (and maybe Ivan and Mylene too) are discussing what Lila said Mari and Kagami did because of the jealousy and Luka's just "what about their rules?". They're all like "????" So he explains how the rules that Mari and Kagami had were that they and Adrien's other potential suitors are keeping to a "don't sabotage each other, respect Adrien's choice, bring other people in on the rules if they like him, etc." set of rules. When asked how he knows that he's like "well, uh, I am also following those rules so..." But then he tells them that if Marinette and Kagami are blocking Lila out of that agreement, then there must be a good reason other than the romantic competition. And that gets them thinking. So they actually hear out the group who has gotten quite a bit of evidence and yeah then they help get the rest of the class on board.

Not trying to be weird just genuinely curious what is your job exactly? Like what do you do/how to get involved. Idk i love national parks and a couple of family members were park rangers and lately ive been considering doing something with my aimless life

not weird at all i love talking about the park stuff. im gonna be front desk at the crater lake lodge in crater lake this year. last year I was also front desk but at the canyon lodge in yellowstone. i always find out what vendors operate out of the various parks i want to work at (ie xanterra for yellowstone aramark for crater lake delaware north for shenandoah etc etc) and visit their respective job listing websites individually. i have heard coolworks.com is a good place to start though if you dont have a specific place in mind.

I would reccomend this stuff to literally anyone regardless of age or financial situation but especially if youre feeling aimless. that's why I started doing it and like. well ok I am still basically aimless but now im super popular and have dozens of close friends all over the country and get to make even old people jealous when I tell them about all the things I've seen and done and experienced thanks to the park jobs.

word of warning though: all of these employers are very accutely aware of how enticing and coveted these experiences are so they will in basically all instances treat you like absolute fucking garbage. you're completely disposable to them and they will do everything in their power to remind you of this at every oppurtunity. im talking lead paint and asbestos in the dorms, some of the worst food you've ever eaten in your entire life (I knew some guys who had been to literal actual prison and unanimously agreed that the literal actual prison food was leagues better), and of course absurdly long hours with very little to show for it financially (there were times when I only recieved a little over $300 for 100 hours of work due to low pay + how room and board was handled). point is the actual work part is going to be a miserable slog. as long as you think you can handle all that though id still highly reccomend trying it out because everything else about it has made it feel more than worth it to me personally.
