theres alot of evidence suggesting that telamon is shedletsky. (which makes sense cause they're both the same person in real life too.)

first of all they share the same font colour

and secondly shedletsky insinuates that HE own's the haunted manor. you know the haunted manor TELAMON owns???

what makes this interesting is that people like the ghost chef view telamon and shedletsky as two different people

the only explanation to this that shedletsky is hiding the fact that he is telamon. which means he's LYING TO OUR FACE about being to injured to help us directly on our quest. if he was able to save kitchen wizard and jim as telamon, WHY ISN'T HE HELPING US ON OUR ARGUABLY MORE IMPORTANT QUEST?? though hatred doesn't have one particular wielder representing it (if you exclude the player) all the other wielders showed signs of suffering from it's influence.

in if you need to be mean, would the reader ever try to escape? and if she did, how would konig react? thinking about like, she planned for a few months how would she escape him, and she feels very conflicted bc she loves him, but she wants freedom and thats the only thing konig would never give her. so when hes away she takes the car and just goes. i dont know where, but shes so desperate te be free again to do whatever she likes without him hovering and always by her side trying to control what she does! would he feel sad? would he be devastated? would he go after her? i know that theres like a 1% chance of it happening but im so curious about how he would react and how it would change their relationship.

Konig made everything in his power to prevent her from escaping without locking her up and breaking her legs, but it doesn't mean he won't do it.

He refuses to let her study German because he moved her to this foreign country without her knowing the language, and he specifically chose a distant tiny town in the middle of the Austrian woods, where not a lot of people know English and therefore, it would be hard for her to communicate. She doesn't have his car keys or a driver's license, he didn't leave her a lot of cash, so she forced to use his cards with updates of withdrawal and spending sent to his account, and she also just has a dependant visa that wouldn't allow her to do independent anyway. Her only way would be speaking to the police and hoping that they would start the investigation. It would be really hard because, well, Austria doesn't really care about immigrant's problems unless it's an international scandal, and Konig would know anyway - because he has cameras in the house, which he doesn't even hide, and if the investigation would die down, or his girl wouldn't go to the police, he wouldn't really break the contract and run to her immediately. He has quite a few friends around, especially if Krueger or Klaus are around and not on deployment with him, so he could ask them to go and visit his...wife. She is scared and a bit hysterical because of the foreign country, so she can tell weird things about kidnapping and escaping, they shouldn't listen to her! Konig won't be so nice when he returns. He really wanted to play this fantasy of having cute little housewife, nice house and a girl that is absolutely in love with him. He knows that you like him, at least, that you didn't want to escape, you're just silly! He infantilised you before, mostly because of the age difference, but it would be even harsher now. You are not allowed to leave the house, he often simply locks you in the bedroom so you won't have anything to do besides waiting for him to return with groceries and fuck you into the mattress. He didn't want to break you leg, but if you keep resisting, he might kinda push you a bit further. He would assign you a no-nonsense older caretaker so you would have company and help while your leg is broken! She also thinks that you have some sort of weird mental illness that made you paranoid and afraid of your husband, so you can't even get help from her. You can forget about going out while he is on deployment either. And he is very reluctant to let you out, even with him, the first few months after your attempted escape. The world is too dangerous for you anyway,

Mikan Tsumiki is not as bad as the fandom makes her out to be and im tired of pretending she is

Before I get interrogated or dismissed I'm talking more potential than anything but also the base character and how she was set up and what she could've been

My biggest problem is when people just go "she's just a fan service character!!!!!!" First off... ok she is the main fan service victim... you're not wrong... but I also think reducing her to just that is really reductive

First off I wanna talk about her design. I've seen a LOT of hate towards her design and it's not perfect but also I don't think its bad I'd argue it's a bit above average actually

Can't remember who said it and also it was a while ago but during a redesign they said she'd keep her hair up and away so she's not reminded of her trauma through bullying (Bullies cut her hair hence the uneven hair cuts), and personally I think that's a huge misread of her character. (If anyone knows who I'm referencing this is not shade or hate just the example I think is easiest to use for my character analysis!)

Mikan is an extreme case of a fawning abuse victim. She's been HEAVILY abused like to the point if she was a real person I'd actively go into shock hearing about it. I should also say though I don't think she's fawning in the traditional sense more so in the sense she can not stand to be ignored. Any attention is better than none. During her breakdown in trial 3 she's actively begging for forgiveness and in her panic talk action says "please draw on me" which just shows (to me at least) that shes willing to under go harassment and basically mental torture to keep people from disregarding her. I do think part of it though is traditional fawning.

Anyways that's all to say I don't think a character who has gone through so much and is such a people pleaser to the degree she's actively ASKING people to torment her would go through the trouble of hiding the results of it. Bandages could be a counter point though I'd count that as more of a health issue (probably cigarette burns or something she would give medical attention to since we do know she would treat herself which is how she became so good at nurse work). Out of anything I think Mikan has become almost oblivious to how awful the things she's gone through are since she can actively talk about it in a pretty casual way which is pretty standard for a lot of trauma Survivors although mikan is an extreme case. Which is to say i think she'd look at her burns, chopped hair, etc and kind of just see it like we'd see our closet and not really derive any pain from it (my personal take I do have other ideas but this is long and I can't write a thesis omg)

I don't have enough knowledge on nursing dress code in Japan to comment on her actual clothes though. In the states scrubs are common place but I know different countries have different standards.

A lot of redesigns I've seen also take great lengths to cover up any sort of skin mikan shows which 1. Yikes purity culture and 2. Showing skin is not inherently sexual. I mean. Danganronpa team are freaks for all the CG's they did of her and I get it makes sense for her character but they could've done something way more appropriate since the characters have the minds of when they were teens and it's all weird. (And when I say it makes sense for her character yeah she wants attention and whatever but they did not have to make it THAT. Have her like fall in a mop bucket or something that's embarrassing she's an SA victim too omfg)

Anyways moving on from her design I think dumbing her down to fanservice is also missing what she had the opportunity to be. Because on the face of it sure she went through trauma and is now a meek paranoid timid girl which is a weird trope men like, BUT it doesn't end there because she starts showing a different side to her trauma that I feel like a lot of trauma representation doesn't get to into which is the cycle of abuse. She actively started being a nurse because she wanted to have people rely on her and be weaker than her. She's fawning but underneath it all she wants in a way revenge.

I also think that her arc in trial 3 was an actually really good pitch too. Mikan gaining her memories back and remembering junko remnants blah blah puts the final piece of the puzzle down. Mikan goes from being a door mat and meek and timid with an underlying want to be in control and be the person people have to rely on and to have power over these people, to starting to get more comfortable and sociable, before she's hit by the motive and completely nose dives into her worst self who's exploitative, cruel, and obsessive.

I think she's also the best candidate for the plot point they were revealing (one for what im talking about this paragraph and also just cause it shows how insane their memories must be to turn mikan into her despaie self) because mikan doesn't care about despair to her it's all about love. She finally found someone who "loves her unconditionally" and accepts her and all her flaws etc which we know isn't true based on DR3 but in her brainwashed state it is true. She's hit her lowest point where she's completely succumbed to the abuse and taken it as love and doesn't just have the subconscious want to be in control but is actively feeding that desire (from the small clip we see of her remnant self vs seiko)

Now this isn't to say all of this is explored perfectly or written well enough to give mikan the "good character" badge. I love danganronpa, but i think it kinda writes itself into a corner with having such a large cast. Some characters just don't get the time they should. My take is mostly based on what I see the creators were trying to do with her. That's also why I say she's not just a fan service character because when I look at her in the game I see the building blocks they just didn't finish the project. I think if they really fleshed out the character regression it'd be genuinely really good. I mean danganronpa is not a masterpiece by any means so it's also like would kodaka/team danganronpa be able to write that? Who knows! I also saw what they were trying to do though

Mikan is also id say? Arguably one of the most controversial characters? Which I'm not invalidating she's my favorite danganronpa character but I also play the game and im like.... ok was that necessary. I also just get annoyed at people disregarding her character and calling her just fan service. Which ironically is what creators do with fan service characters lol (I'm also not gonna say anyone's wrong for being uncomfortable with the fanservice they wrote her into tho it makes me uncomfortable)

I think mikan is a really interesting character not as she's shown in game but as a character stufy of trauma which I think is why I'm so drawn to her and all that

I’m putting a big TW here for disordered eating and mentions of self harm. It’s all about recovery though

I think she likes to draw! It’s just a little hobby, she doesn’t like showing people her drawings. It’s because she mostly draws pictures of you and her holding hands. Then she gets too giggly and shy when she looks at it, like kicking her feet and stuff.

I think she keeps a journal where she logs everything that happens in her life. If she had access to them, she would put stickers in it too. She can be cute sometimes.

I believe that Samarie has a silly habit of hiding in dark/confined spaces like closets or under beds (your bed, specifically) because it gives her comfort. She watches you - not trying to be a creep!!! Just because she’s already in there, and it’d be awkward if she came out now, and she likes you so so much and you make her so calm and happy-!!

So it sometimes scares the hell out of you when you see her standing in a dark closet or something staring at you through the crack in the door in the middle of the night.

“oh my god, Samarie, I had horrible dreams last night, I think our house is haunted” “k-kaaa…. I’ll…. See what I can do about it….”

In her several dens throughout the house, she loves plushies! She never got a chance to have plushies growing up. She’d really love it if you bought her plushies….. she loves all plushies, but she especially loves ones of ‘misunderstood animals’, like bugs, sharks or black cats.

I can imagine her trying so hard to win you a plushie in those claw machine games and failing every time…

Of course, she is very protective of you… she specifically is paranoid around men from her trauma and abuse, so when a man gets too close to you she gets…. Really weird about it…. But she’s working on it! She’s working on being better for you. She knows it’s not healthy. She never wanted to hurt you…

She has trouble eating. I think she has sensory issues with 80% of foods, and she’s also avoidant, so it’s very hard to convince her to eat and she’s scared of eating new foods. Some of the foods she considers safe are plain bread with butter (NEVER EVER JELLY), tea, and fruits. She loves grapes.

With help she comes out of her shell and tries new things and finds she loves dark chocolate (only dark), seafood, pasta, and ice cream! Shes less scared to try new things if you hold her hand and help her through it.

She swears off ever hurting herself for the sake of grogoroth again. She’s free from that awful cult, she won’t let them abuse her any more. In fact, she’ll swear off magic. Her dream is to live a normal life with you. Far, far away from the Vatican.

On a softer note, she always feels timid about touching you, so sometimes she just looks at you and pokes your cheek randomly.

She keeps a picture of you in her pocket and it’s covered in lipstick marks. <3

as a living autism creature myself i must ask, in kinjomae, how would yuki deal with kinjos autism-ness (I.E overstimulation, having the social awareness of a goldfish, such and such) the public (me) DEMANDS TO KNOW!! >:)

HOOH BOY makin me actually think about the logistics of my autism headcanon… RAAH- i tend to write him more coded than actually thinking about it as canon, but hmm. hmmm

so kinjo is the absolute master of masking. that’s the first thing to know. autism? i hardly know ‘im. Considering he’s very high functioning (or.. low support level? i’m not entirely sure how these things are labeled now) he was able to bury most of the typical symptoms you’d see in stoicism and cop prowess

most, not including: social difficulties and sense of justice, obviously. he does best with a set of concrete rules that make sense instead of bending to people’s weird, nuanced expectations. his father has taught him to have an unconditional moral compass of such concrete rules, and this is why he’s able to move through life with such efficiency and utterly dedicate himself to everything he does. he was not taught about nuance, nor emotional intelligence at all for the most part, which compounds upon the way us autistics sometimes already work, you know. a perfect storm that gives him the power to be even more dedicated than the average person, but also far more rigid.

for hyperfixations, his passion has been forcefully dulled in everything except crime, but… i will forever hc that he’s a massive fan of certain fantasy series. his few acts of a rebellion as a child were hiding a fiction book in a non-fiction cover and just reading for hours. you could call that escapism, it kinda is, but he’ll be thinking of scenes from a good book for literal months. in a different world, he’s a booktoker, maybe even a writer himself because of how incredibly smart he is, but alas, we’re stuck in this one.

he’s had to acclimate to loud sounds and environments that are far too stimulating since… way younger than he should, but i do believe the one thing that gets him would be texture stuff. like, he hates certain textures of carpet, some foods, the way some fabrics feel on his skin. he’ll wear them anyway, but he’ll be prickly and paranoid the whole day in any situation he’s overstimulated. an advocate for exposure therapy, he figures that surely. surely if he just ignores these weird ways his mind reacts, he’ll grow numb to it eventually. (in sdra2, he has completely shut down on this front, if you’ve seen this man’s fit, but. we are assuming yuki can rescue him from this)

ok now to the ACTUAL kinjomae, yuki would not. know. he’d be blissfully unaware… like, he knows sometimes kinjo will like cuddling and sometimes he’ll be all ‘if you so much as brush against me once bodies will hit the floor’, he knows kinjo sometimes can’t tell sarcasm and takes everything said literally, but he figures that’s just kinda! who he is!

someone would need to intervene, probably inori god bless her. she’d see how tortured this man is and gently refer him to a specialist. kinjo would learn, and not… entirely know what to make of it, so he’d try to continue life as normal. he’d likely be more familiar with high support needs cases, so he’d BARELY identify with the label even if a doctor told him so.

but yuki?? yuki would straight up do his research. and yknow what?? he’d buy this guy a soft sweater he freaking likes. hed start learning to cook solely to make nice lunches for him that don’t make him wanna peel his skin off. he’d do actual good research on the topic. in my little delulu fluff land where kinjomae can be real, yuki really does try to help kinjo overcome his hellish childhood and is often very angry at his dad on his behalf. partially why he rushed kinjo into moving into him so he could get away from him. (that was a whole beat in TOTS, though i don’t know how well i got it across)

different specifics here, same idea- yuki would push back against tsurugi who seems to be utterly ignoring this, they have a small divorce because of course they do, it’s their gimmick, and so eventually he says FINE, i’ll look into this more and try and stop masking when we’re alone sometimes. weeks creep by, he becomes, like… 30% less of an asshole because he’s not as repressed and on edge all the time. magic, really

obviously like... the prt knows what happened, because of course the wards needed to tell them. publicity-wise, as far as the public is concerned, auxiliary was killed. aux is dead. you remember that one interlude from Vista's pov where she had to look at the greyed out memorial images of the wards who were killed in the leviathan battle? yeah imagine one of those for aux. as far as anyone else knows he died in the fight with overlord (lmao. not like anyone could distinguish identifiable corpses from that mess anyway)

we have played with the idea a few times about a few different topics that there's a subsection of conspiracy theorists on parahumans online that actually connect the dots and get everything right (aux and muse being the same person, Tide and magma being made from the endbringers, etc etc stuff like that that isn't supposed to be public knowledge) but it's extremely funny if they're just a weird fringe group of freaks so nobody ever takes them seriously

Trickster takes Mal in exchange for ashe and then they just kind of disappear. and they're left in this horrible paranoid calm period. adn because theyre also gone i think people just assume that either muse went with them or also got killed in that final battle. unsure which option is worse, ashe hearing people talk about muse like hes still out there somewhere (ouch!) or talking about muse like he was killed by his friends (actually now that i type this out i think ashe would prefer this option so much more. man. he has so many issues) it takes ashe a loooong long long time to even consider using his powers again much less entertain the idea of going back to hero work, so it's not really like... an issue? for a bit? we haven't rlly nailed down that period of time yet but I would assume the prt has him under some sort of loose supervision until it's decided that he's not an active threat anymore and he gets to fucking REST for a little bit ! we're intentionally leaving late game nhw a little loose rn because I know I personally just really wanna see how s3 of pd turns out before we nail down anything too solid bc if there's one thing i love about nhw it's referencing back to things happening in canon and making them so much worse ^_^ but I think we've talked about ashe potentially going back to hero stuff eventually under a new name. and nobody can say shit because if a cape has a new name that means they're a different person and nobody can say anything (cough cough looks at armsmaster/defiant) !!!

dkjfhsdgj ITS KIND DERANGED LMAOO. sorry for yapping about her backstory but its relevant to their insane dynamic lmao

my self insert / oc is basically like. disillusioned software engineer. shes based off edward snowden. she's from the planet of talia (which is desert wasteland) and she's an orphan and was raised with other bandit gangs lol. she learned how to write software and engineer thru trial and error. she's an orphan and doesn't really have any family with the exceptions of like two people she considers. but no blood. no idea who her parents are lol

she gets picked up by the ipc when she's in her teen years because she gets caught trying to steal from them using some phishing software she made. they offer recruitment instead of jail-time bc her skillsets are valuable and she sees it as a good opportunity.

she quickly finds out the ipc is crazy corrupt and she gets really like. she wants to get out but the contract is insane. so she basically. like. steals a bunch of money from the ipc and then goes permanently on the run LMAO.

she finds refuge in different planets but the ipc is everywhere. she keeps stealing from them though and interrupting their business models. very robinhood i guess. she has more of a moral conscience than other inserts i make she's really upright.

her personality is really like super antisocial and paranoid. complete loser forreal. after all that jumping around, she ends up hiding in penacony bc its huge and even with ipc presence, it's really easy for the blend in

this is where her relationship with sunday starts. he's really into her because he doesn't like the IPC for one, but also because he finds her to be benevolent (and she is to her credit she's really morally upright). he offers her like . complete refuge and protection in exchange for being part of the family.

she. adamantly refuses this proposition (he will keep asking though) but offers to work for the family as a contractor in exchange for protection. sunday agrees, she's an important and valuable asset with tons of insider information but also he feels weirdly comfortable around her.

they have such a weird relationship LMAOOOAOAOA. sunday develops this very possessive feeling about her and is really coercive and manipulative to her in general. he comes and goes as he pleases but she's not allowed to stray too far. quick to tug her leash basically. he has a really complete control over her and he's paranoid about her trying to leave him. always pulling her into corners and being kind of humiliating and controlling about how she dresses and acts etc

THE INSANE THING IS THAT SHE'S KIND OF. FINE WITH IT. she's really aware that sunday is crazy and manipulative and batshit. but she has HELLA abandonment issues because she has no "home." sunday constantly breathing down her back to stay with him and be his possesion gives her a comfortable sense of belonging and she doesn't think of him as evil - so she's weirdly content with him and just wants to be with him

SOMETIMES. WHEN SUNDAY IS IN A GOOD MOOD. he'll ask her what he wants and he's always expecting her to like beg for her own freedom but she never does. always asks for like intimacy like bathing together and cuddling. and it always shocks sunday LMAOAOA because he's convinced she secretly depsises him but its like dude. i think there has to be a set up for that scenario, like the reaction c!dteam have over meeting each other on season 2, i think c!dream wakes up near c!clingy while c!snf wake up near each other, so they would all hide what they felt with a smile and "hi nice to meet you ^_^" but i think they feel things before progressively starting to have flashbacks of places they used to be, things they said and stuff

also this got long LMAO IM SORRY 😭 and sorry if there's parts that don't make sense i was watching sap's stream so i kinda lost track of what i was writing,,

c!dream would feel some kind of relief like he can breathe again but also be anxious like they're going to leave him again soon, with c!sapnap he feels scared of doing something that angers him and deep heartache, old memories from them being kids long forgotten. with c!george he feels like a spark of light on his life and warmth like a deep bond between them but then replaced with guilt and regret

c!sapnap would feel happiness of seeing c!dream again but a weird mix of uneasyness because he feels like he has to do something to c!dream (fulfill his promise he doesn't remember) and his hands twitch for a second but he stays still, he avoids eye contact because it makes him feel weird.... (doesn't rationalize he feels sad and guilty) also he's very close to c!george because of the weeks they spent roaming the world together after meeting when they woke up

c!george would feel like a weight got lifted off his shoulders, the first few days with c!sapnap convinced him that he's not dreaming, he doesnt know why he would think it was but by the time he meets c!dream he feels awake, and the deep longing and yearning that at some point became part of him in season 1, finally leaves and he resists the urge to hug him (dorry my cdnf demons)

so when it comes the point of c!dnf's relationship growing and with that c!dream becoming c!george's protector, i think c!sapnap would notice that closeness and feel weirded out about it, something telling him to not trust dream with george's safety, that he's putting on a facade to later betray everyone, but he tries his best to ignore those thoughts, he just met dream, why would he think that about him? but yeah i think he would try and go with them or maybe spy on them but it's all so weird for sap, he sees how protective and paranoid dream is and how his hands tremble holding the sword

it isnt until something happens that hurts dream that george and sap carry him to the main base and after taking his armor off and clothes to bandage him they see his scars and it's sickening, the jagged scars, the clean cuts, the burn marks, everything, what if they try to ask dream about it but he says he doesnt know as he starts tearing up. i think after that, sap trusts dream more but is still wary about that weird dynamic he has with george, and george tries to make dream stop acting like he's his knight. OMG WHAT IF THERE'S MISCOMMUNICATION. dorry that's another au that i have in mind LMAO.

also with c!q..... when cdream meets him there's something about his eyes, the way he looks at him and the scar over his left eye that makes his skin crawl and he feels nauseous. what if c!q has a mannerism of washing his hands constantly because he has nightmares of having them covered in blood. also what if c!q and c!sapnap are also protective over c!george when he's alone with c!dream (memories of mexican lmanberg). what if c!dream avoids being alone with c!q for too long, he doesnt want to fully assume but he knows c!q is responsible for his scars but not at what extent, and when he's around him he's trying not to have a panic attack every time he hears q laugh or move too fast near him. what if c!q without knowing much about c!dream, he knows what scars he's hiding under his clothes (which cover his entire body, only the ones on his face are visible)

and i guess that was the wrong thing to say. she lit into me about god knows what, i can barely remember honestly. dont really wanna remember tbh. i remember some of the things she said, they make me feel disgusting just thinking about it. i wont talk about those.

it was like instead of being a normal ass rider she decided to wait 7 months and then just start fucking screaming. when i say screaming, i mean literal fucking screaming. not shouting. not talking loud. screaming. to the point shes done it so much i dont know how we havent gotten a noise complaint. or domestic violence report or something.

the yard is essentially an ass ton of those dusty gray small rocks. i stayed in the honda, it was a gray day, literally. looked like it was gonna rain.

i stayed in because everything was so much and if i got out, i probably wouldve collapsed just from being too into my own thoughts.

i guess at some point when she was yelling at me it turned into about school work and how i get nothing done.

theres actually still an app for it, but i dont think you can reset passwords, if you could, then idk how. the password was extremely long and stupid, like random numbers and letters literally. i always logged on on my laptop, by muscle memory, but the ohone keyboard is different so i texted my mother to ask if she knew, yk, to 'show initiative' and of course she was still being an ass. because why not right! so that made me feel more like shit and lowkey kinda helpless. she had been yelling sorta at my father too, so its not like i could just go get run over at this point, would make it worse on him (not actively what i was thinking but i think subconsciously)

finally he finished doing whatever he was doing, dont remember because too focused on smth else (care to guess what?)

he got back in the car and asked if there was anywhere else i wanted to go. i said something along the lines of "anywhere but home".

he said "i know, but we gotta go home at sometime.." i cant express his tone but ill try.

i feel that its very worth mentioning that since he was 3 he was severely abused by his father and mother. as he puts it "every night was a fucking argument" i dont remember the exact words but hes stated multiple times because of said fights he used to go to bed without eating.
