man today i had to buy additional kitchen supplies like measuring cups bc i didnt have any of my own
and now i do have them so i dont have to spend any additional money again in the future
but whew
that plus groceries this week is hurtin my pocket book
#by hurting i mean im fine#im just grouchy i cant afford a switch when everyone is playing botw2 still#im trying so sososososo hard to be an adult about it#but idk it feels like#life is so hard rn#and now for the third big video game release in a row#i havent been able to play the game i want#bc there's always always something more important than a switch#i ltierally always have medical bills#i have really big moving fees on the horizon#and i havent fully paid off my summer programs yet#so just in general#i feel sore about it#but im trying to be mature!!!!!#i dont need a video game system just because i want it#but g'd life has just. sucked so extremely hard#i had imagined that when they announced the game two years ago#i was excited bc i thought two years from then#surely id have enough money for a switch!!#but no i am still constantly penny pinching#and can expect to be penny pinching into my 30s#which i can handle!!#i in so many ways really legit love a simple life#i so easily imagine myself staying within this level of like#class stability#like i would so much rather stay in an apartment like this for years to come#rather than move into anything nicer just bc i have more cash#it's that i live in literally almost the Most affordable housing within my means#that isn't literally unsafe for me or so isolated i cant get anywhere#like sure i could have paid 40$ less a month for a different room in my apartment for distinctly less sqft
