as for your question, im actually not very big on christmas movies, but here are some that are very dear to me and that i end up watching every year:

home alone and home alone 2. THEE CHRISTMAS MOVIES OF ALL TIME. A HOLIDAY STAPLE. maybe im cheating by putting both of them together, but when i was a kid (and here im gonna show how truly old am i) we had them on video tape and we would always watch them on christmas day one right after the other. if i had to choose tho, i think i'd pick home alone 2. i know it's not as good as the first one, but for some reason it's always been very comforting to me (and i always dearly loved pigeon lady).

tokyo godfathers. i stumbled upon this movie completely by accident in my late teens when i was very into animanga and it immediately became one of my favorites. it's about 3 homeless people (a former drag queen, a runaway teen, and a grumpy alcoholic) who find a baby in a dumpster and try to reunite it with its family. it’s got humor, it’s got heart, it's about chosen and blood family, and most of all it's both very human and very magical.

klaus. it's the most recent movie in this list and consequently the one that has less sentimental value, but in such a short time it has become very important to me. it's hilarious, heartwarming and one of the most comforting movies i've ever seen. to quote klaus, "one true, selfless act always sparks another." that's the true spirit of the holidays to me and how i strive to live my life.

trading places. so fun fact.. here in italy our national television has been airing this movie on christmas eve every single year without fail since - i kid you not - 1997. i was 6 years old at the time. i am now 32. i spent 26 years of my life watching trading places on christmas eve. what i was doing yesterday evening? watching trading places. and just like me, so was every single italian out there. it doesn't even matter if we like it or not, that's not the point, it's just become tradition like setting up the christmas tree and it's the only certainty we have left in this country: on christmas eve we watch trading places (hashtag just italian things).

the santa clause. this is another movie that used to air a lot around the holidays when i was a kid. i've never particularly cared about it, but my mom ADORED this movie and she always put it on while cooking for christmas. once i got older enough to help her in the kitchen, it still kept us company in the background as we worked, so i inevitably ended up growing fond of it and it's one of those movies that to this day i make sure to find the time to watch with my mom every year.

Second one--no, no health scare, it's just a routine check. The pregnancy is considered high-risk because of his history, so he has to do a lot of these

Third one--there's a pretty big risk of miscarriage, but Charles' life isn't in danger. If there was a risk of that they'd definitely abort the pregnancy rather than play the odds. Max in particular is very wary of this for reasons which I keep trying to explain but keep backspacing because it's hard so im sorry but you'll have to take my word for it that the man lives in terror every day for nine months, which is vaguely alluded to in the snippet as well. i swear i know what im doing. i think

fourth one--this discussion is actually gonna be in the next chapter but it isn't written yet, so the good news is you'll have a full answer very soon but the bad news is I'm not exactly sure and can't really answer, sorry!

fifth one--again sorry, not quite sure but they didn't induce labor early either way. It might not be a complication so much as it is something pretty common in his family. Charles was born early too and a bit small so it doesn't worry him too much (tell me how ive already written the scene of charles being born underweight but not any of the rest of this)

So it’s not a new tradition. For me at least I never had like a “traditional” Christmas morning. So all of our celebrations are done on Christmas Eve so that includes the dinner and all the activities. And once midnight hits it’s when we do our usual Christmas hugs like saying “merry Christmas” and the after that we open gifts. And it’s been like that since I was a child. When it came to Santa, we would write our letter and put it on our tree along with cookies and milk. Then “Santa” would come and pick up the letters to know what we would want. So our gifts would get there obviously before Christmas Eve sometimes, it just depended when my parents would put them under the tree lol

We love practical things!!! Very underrated sometimes lol you’re so real for buying too much books! I like buying second hand and I have so much on my tbr list it’s actually crazy! AND YAY TO READING BOOKS!!! Omg I have had Fourth Wing on tbr list for the longest time! Im bored as fuck so Im going to infodump a lil more about some of my OCs I may draw later (when Im free from Uni)

Since I've started to think more and write more about Damian & William (and even shared WAAAAY more with my besties about it) I began to add more characters to their story... Soo I'll do a little introduction about some of them!... But without a visual of how they look like because I havent got time to do that :'v

So in the Shinigami team we had William, and I decided to give him 2 extra friends that also work as shinigamis, for the moment.

Both of them being Sasha and... Someone I dont quite have a name for and have only mentioned as "Unknown Shinigami" because I havent thought about a cool name for them.

Sasha is a short, fem presenting, glasses user shinigami who has been working in the area for around 400 years, basically being William's bestie and part of their trio of fuckery doers. She loves going out after work with William and Unknown (Im still gonna call them that for the moment) but also is a botanic nerd who enjoys going into the living realm and has a ""side work"" of taking care of a small garden and can get REAAALLY pissed off if you fuck up her plants. She also has a small crush on one of Damian's co worker. In fact she wants her to step on her.

Aand we also have the Unknown S. Who is a weaboo like Damian, except they used to work in japan but got moved under Cihuacóatl some centuries ago but still wears traditional clothes, and now in modern times that anime got popular they decided to keep wearing it. I havent decided a name for them right now but if one thing I have clear is that they dont talk that much, they often preffer to stay silent. Which confuses other shinigamis as to why would he be around Sasha and William who are a pair of parrots.

On the other side tho, we have Kerri and Camilla, Damian's co workers who also are Reasigners.

Camilla is a mommy. Thats her appearence Im sorry but its my OC and I decide their appearance. She has soft pink hair, is very tall, looks like she is in her mid 30's but she is 5000 years old. The first time she saw Damian she decided that they were going to be her "little brother" and annoys them constantly with love💜. She shares a house with another 2 Reasigners as well. she may or may have not hooked with them several times and thought lf hooking up with Sasha as well

And Kerri is a sunshine, she is a sweet newbie who was putted under Damian by the three goddesess (although Im still wondering if I should only make Coatlicue the only goddess or also follow the canon of the three sisters Coatlicue, Xochitlicue and Chimalma) Kerri is very innocent and very excited to be put by such a ""high"" standard Reasigner like Damian. She has curly hair and loves pastel things and honestly? I love her I cant wait to draw her finally

Also Idk if I mentioned before that William would work under Thanatos? Well I'm scrapping that. Both William and Damian are working under Pipil/Nahuatl deities because I think they deserve more rep than just Quetzacoatl and Tlaloc ya know? . So they will appear as well I guess

Like it very much connects the dots for me and I can see how certain events led them to act a certain way! idk I like knowing things lol and i also don't have a great relationship with my dad HAHA like its crazy how easily the thought about my father and I's dynamic makes me easily cry lol

ALSO another side note, the kids show Bluey literally makes me BAWL my eyes out because they have a nice relationship with her father AND the parents have a healthy relationship too 😭😭😭 so I can totally understand how writing this feels good for you!

FUCK THAT MAN! Ngl though was proud of her for breaking his nose which was such win! I was glad she was able to handle it on her own for the most part which is so good! ADORABLE!!!!!!! and her and Louis's interaction omg that was a cute little moment! VERY MUCH ENJOYED THIS SERIES YOU WILL NEVER DISSAPOINT!

I haven't baby sat in a while so I haven't seen Bluey! (I'm a Paw Patrol girl) but I've heard ONLY good things about Bluey and how it's good for all ages 😭 Maybe I should give it a watch. Because I've been listening to this song for a few weeks and one of the lyrics is "my parents didn't teach me love but I know how to divorce" and as much as I want to get married (mostly so everyone will stop asking me when it will happen) I don't know if being married will cure everything. HOW WAS HOT TA's LECTURE? I'm 2/3 of the way through my trashy book for the weekend and I am sorry to say I'm wishing for very inappropriate things on your behalf 🤭 maybe it will happen when I sit down to write TA Harry for you 😭

I've had most of Part 7 written for so long that I was like "Omg I need to add more" so Harry got to punch a few things more (I needed to make sure I didn't accidentally write him into legal trouble lol). Then I was like "You know we should have Louis tell her she did a good job too." hehehehehe I really loved writing this one too. It never really felt like I was at a loss of stuff to write.
