i thiink im going to hop on sims 3 soon to play the “past” of some of ts4/ts2’s townies and take some screenshots

to then convert into custom pictures in ts4, for each relevant household! instead of remaking each sim in ts4 to have family pictures.

i think itd be cute to headcanon the different graphics of past games, in the way we in real life look at old 80s, 50s and tintype photography. it doesnt feel quite relatable to us as modern pictures do and its not uncommon to hear folks say how people look “different” in those old photos- so i like to imagine any imgery or media of past sims games that appear in ts4 (like movies in vanilla) having a different “style” (graphics) is how sims in canon view older media/pictures. :D

plus thisll let me organically develop the history of households! i.e. bob & betty newbies childhloods, which will then inform them as adults in my current save file & then affect brandy and her kids growing up. so excited!
