This is more, like, broaching the topic of your first time. It's not my best work imo but I need to set this down before I keep fiddling with it. Also the keep reading break keeps moving stop that.

So, we all know Rika fucks. Even though I've characterized her as someone who's secretly a disaster behind closed doors because fuck she loves her girlfriend, she's gotten plenty of action before getting with you.

To Rika, sex is just all about making each other feel good. She's had many partners before, a casual fling or two here and there. It's not a big deal to her, but she understands that not everyone feels that way. So when you draw boundries at touches that were too close and intimate for you to handle, she backs off, careful to not pressure you into anything you aren't alright with.

Pamper you like you deserve.

Maybe telling her in the morning was the wrong decision, because you go through the rest of the day completely distracted, overthinking and worrying about what will happen when you get home, yet still excited at the prospect, left pressing your thighs together while trying to get any meaningful work done.

You get home before her that night, as you typically will, trying to act normal. Make some dinner, get cleaned up, don't overthink ever little thing. Normal nightly activites. Your heart stammers in your chest as you move around your apartment, but practically stops when the front door creeks open, a call of "I'm home!" echoing through the halls. You can't think straight, simply nodding and humming along as Rika talks. How can you focus on her words at a time like this? She notices, obviously. She knows you, although anyone could look at you and tell something was up just by looking at you.

You're snapped out of your thoughts when her hand touches your thigh, not heated, just gentle, enough to make you look at her in the eyes for the first time since this morning, worry evident on her face.

"Do you still want to go through with this?" It's soft and quiet, for your ears only. You can only nod, placing your hand on top of her own. You were ready for this, you were tired of running away from what you wanted from overly anxious thoughts. A smile works it's way back onto her face, soft on the surface, but laced with an unmistakble heat, quickly standing up, ready to wisk you away to the bedroom. As much as she'd like to take you, taste you, right then and there, she was going to give you a proper first time.

However, he isn’t reasonable when you cancel your date with him for the fifth time in the past two weeks. He thinks this is the longest he’s gone without you. It’s making him become a bit of a grouch.

Jake pokes fun at him during their weekly lunch and is surprisingly met with a snarky remark from his friend, unusual to say the least but hey people have those days.

Jay forgot his wallet (on accident he swears), again and Sunghoon glares at him as he slides his card over to pay for them both. Okay now that’s even more unusual.

You gently shake him awake, he’d fallen asleep on the couch waiting up for you to come home from work. He mumble something that you can’t hear so you shake him again, but this time he shoots up, scaring you in the process.

“Oh. You’re home, took you long enough.”

You’d expected this, the boys had been keeping you up to date with his tantrums but it was all needed so you could present him with the thing that had kept you away at work, away from him.

His eyes shine brightly as the silver band you slide onto his long finger, and he smiles so wide you think it might hurt.

hmmm people seem to be posting their hottest percy jackson takes, so i’ll throw mine out there: 

Clarisse’s relationship with Chris is underdeveloped to the point of seeming tacked on (alright, I’ll budge, it kind of is [but he’s a minor character so I’m not that mad at it] I would argue that taking care of Chris does prompt an important development not just in her character but in Percy’s as well) 

BUT her relationship with Silena is also tacked on (again, minor character, not mad about it). It comes out of nowhere, has very little development (she helped Clarisse with Chris? When and how?), and culminates in that great Iliad scene, but we don’t know much about their friendship or even Silena’s character in general. 

I’m not saying you should ship one over the other - do whatever you want, I don’t care - I’m just saying it’s unfair to call one tacked on when the other is just as (if not more) tacked on. 

The one character who actually truly has chemistry (with romantic potential) with Clarisse as well as development with her over the series is Percy.

I’m permanently invested in being single for my entire life and don’t feel romantic attraction and etc. so I guess it’s not really my place to speak about it but like,,, It’s so hard to process the idea... of buying rings and flowers and stuff lmao... I just saw some video where they compared wedding ring prices and one was like $7,200???? Like, honest to gourd,, even if I was capable of loving someone, if they bought me a $7,000+ ring I would refuse to be with them on principle unless they returned it and got the money back lol like idk,, do you know how many other... actually USEFUL things... I could buy with that... what... are you going to do... with a ring.. just wear it?? I could buy a nice bookshelf and so many craft supplies and etc. with $7,000... I can’t believe the concept even exists that someone spends THAT much money on something that doesn’t even have any practical usage... regardless of if proposal is supposed to be “special” or whatever, like it’d feel much more special to me if someone was like “Hey, I spent $7000 on a super cool computer with a multi functional desk and chair set up and a new set of fancy kitchenware for you.”  than if it was like “Hey, I uh spent this much money on literally just one item and you can’t do anything with it but put it on your finger’”

I KNOW!! it’s supposed to have some emotional meaning but i just can’t fathom it lmao... the same way with other ‘romancey’ stuff like cut flowers like... they don’t even last that long... just buy me an actual living houseplant or something.. better yet buy me a nice sandwich... something I can at least get some use out of lmao,,  idk like I’m not saying it’s a meaningless gesture entirely and like I have stuff like stuffed animals that don’t really serve a practical use so it’s not that overall I’m baffled at any spending on less practical items, but it’s more about the AMOUNT of money...I could honestly never spend more than like $50 on something that you can’t even do anything with but just look at... it just seems so...how... to... process... putting that much money into one item that you can’t do anything but like.. look at it sparkle on your hand..
