Thoughts on Dojima?

ask my muse how they feel about other muses they interact with!

FIRST & FOREMOST he’s not happy with the way dojima is raising nanako       if you can call it that. each broken promise, late night, etc. stack heavily on that poor girl’s shoulders. & if there’s anybody who can relate to the feeling of abandonment ( has doubted that they’re really loved ), it’s yu. now, he knows the facts       dojima absolutely DOES love his daughter, more than anything in the world       yu just wishes he’d exemplify it.

despite the criticism, he cares deeply for his uncle. he’s not the first relative that’s had to deal with yu burdening them, but he’s the only one that has felt like FAMILY ( rather, what a family should be ). dojima’s a hardened guy; his methods of keeping an eye on yu’s wellbeing seem harsh… yet, yu feels valued & protected because of them.

in dojima’s social link, he says that yu feels like more like a much younger brother rather than a nephew. as an only child, yu cherishes the comparison. ( & with nanako giving him the role of big bro, it’s like he has multiple siblings! ) my yu is severely reluctant to open up about anything, even the most minor inconveniences. he doesn’t trust anybody 100%, including his own parents, not to manipulate his weaknesses.

but dojima is the one exception. yu’s willing to rely on his uncle. whether it’s ranting about his friends, breaking down into tears over academic stress, or quietly sharing his fears       he wouldn’t regret it. that’s certainly not something that applies to anybody else.
