We're going to pretend for a moment that I didn't just cry over mashed potatoes.
#christmas vent incoming#its kinda depressing but also kinda cute#skip it if you dont want to read#its the first year my dad hasnt been able to have christmas dinner with us because of work and my sibling went to their partners#my dad still cooked dinner so that i would have something to eat and could semi celebrate#and when i opened the container of mashed potatoes there were no peels in it#and he never peels the damn potatoes#but we were talking the other day and i mentioned how i dont like potato skin because it feels yucky#and he was like -but you always eat my potatoes at holiday dinners?#and i was like -yeah because theyre your potatoes#so he peeled the potatoes this year just because i mentioned i dont like potato skin#im fucking bawling my eyes out alone watching christmas romcoms because my dad peeled some potatoes for me
