i do think its so wild how s1 presented so many non-mandalorian characters who tried so hard to needle din about his helmet, make fun of him for wearing it, or otherwise antagonize him about his culture to the point where such behavior is indeed antagonism, its unsympathetic, its downright mean. and then somehow three years later the entire fandom is like, well maybe din does need to take his helmet off. as if s1 didnt happen at all
