I need to find media with love stories similar to those in fantasy stuff but... not fantasy. like I just want to see a man covered in blood willing to die for his love and characters facing death and then running into the arms of each other. but it seems to me there's nowhere to find that outside fantasy shows. or like erotic books u find at the supermarket. I'd rather do fantasy than cheap romances or thrillers but idk I just don't wanna sit through like a billion magical battles to get to 15 minutes of romance anymore lol

#like cmon there's something so insane abt a love story when the stakes are high. and I like media where the romance is not the focus cause #it doesn't get boring and the romance feels earned #lol im watching shadow and bone #it's... fine #favorite parts are nina/matthias and inej #im enjoying the six of crows storyline more which is interesting cause i only read the shadow and bone books #idk not crazy about alina and mal in the show #not that i was obsessed w them in the books but they were the reason i read them mostly #anyway if you have recs!!!! despite these v specific requirements... id be happy to receive them!!!
