See, one of those things is not quite like the others. I may be connecting the dots a little late but wouldn't it make sense if the last ingredient was the grace of an angel... who is in love with a human? That's why Metatron needed Castiel specifically. That's also why his little jab, "he's in love.... with humanity." was so obviously pointed. How did I not pick up on this?

why am i only just realizing that this scene in season one where Viktor tells Jayce he has to destroy the hexcore was him wanting to die at Jayce’s hands. He couldn’t destroy the hexcore by himself, he tried and it wouldn’t let him.

He wanted Jayce to kill him alongside the hexcore, its why he didn’t stop him in season two.

Viktor wanted to die either way.

my roommate @latr1nal1a and i were discussing this scene in s1ep3 where petey is talking to mark in his basement

he mentions a department that no one has been to before. a department where you aren't allowed to LEAVE.

he is CLEARLY talking about the testing floor, where they are keeping gemma!!!! she isn't allowed to leave!!!!!!

so. this has been established. petey somehow stumbled across the testing floor. which then means that he knows about the exports hall............

a big question i've had the entire time while watching this show is how the FUCK does outie irving know about the exports hall. it's the kind of information that only an innie could know, and clearly innie irving had no clue about it until the OTC when he saw all the paintings.

so. how does outie irving know? who told him?

my leading theory so far was that reghabi was irving's contact. she seems to be the one with the most knowledge about the things going on inside lumon, so it would make sense that she would be working with irving.

HOWEVER, now that we've realized that PETEY knows about the testing floor.............who's to say it wasn't petey who told irving about the hallway? having been reintegrated, petey would probably have sought out irving as well!

let's go back to the message outie irving leaves over the phone in s2ep2

whoever irving is calling, they HAVENT BEEN ANSWERING.

and sam winchester voice get this. we know the dagger was extracted from da2's red lyrium idol right. and likely purified during the ritual discussed in tevinter nights. which is interesting because "a glowing blue blade that has the capacity to resist or possibly even cure the blight"?? sounded incredibly familiar to me :) so with that i would like to also point out the similarities btwn solas's dagger and the sword maric theirin found in the deep roads from david gaider's 2009 tie-in novel the calling. lol

also worth noting that he and fiona banged shortly after he found this sword, and later, after the birth of alistair, she found out she had been effectively cured of the taint and had somehow reversed the calling. the only grey warden ever recorded to have done so.
