now this is certainly an interesting dynamic

hitoshi shinso isn’t someone that’s generally liked by people, what with his quirk being ‘villainous’ and all

(and as a child, it had stung at first, the way he strove so desperately for something he’d never truly be in their eyes

but as he grew out of stuffed toys and forgotten summer dreams, shinso decides he doesn’t like them right back either, and oh boy, he’s not quiet about it)

and so it genuinely makes no sense to him that you’d choose to sit next to him at lunch, this literal stranger, finishing your food in relative silence before you casually offer a piece to him, like you’re friends

except hitoshi shinso doesn’t do friends, he’s perfectly fine on his own, thank you very much, and you’re probably here to bother him as some sick prank-

but for all of that, he finds himself cautiously accepting the piece anyway, quietly offering you a bite of his own lunch; testing the waters, feeling for how deep it is, if there are any sharks lurking in wait

but then you’re there the next day too, much to his surprise (you must know about his quirk, right? but then why would you sit next to him again?), and the next, and the next, and the next, and whoa, if this is a joke you’re committing a little too faithfully it-

and before he knows it, you’ve got him wrapped around your little finger

and it’s funny, really, because hitoshi’s never been one to trust easily, but-

you offer him your lunch and greet him in the hallways; you track him down during breaks and drag him out with you to the gardens or the library, you walk home with him and schedule study sessions, and you call him stupid and cuss him out and you tug on his hair (and is that-... fondness in your eyes?), and you return his sneers and lazy drawls with leers and barbs of your own and and and-

and he just doesn’t get it, at first

you stick around, even with your sharp eyes and blunt words, and hitoshi can’t compute why

he’s not good company, to be sure, he’s far too bitter and angry, angry at himself, angry at the world, angry at the unfairness of it all

and- don’t you know that he could so easily turn this against you? he could so, so easily use his quirk and-

and you don’t care. you shrug when he finally gathers the courage to ask, tell him, it doesn’t really matter because that’s what they think of you, isn’t it? it doesn’t mean you are. i know you, and that’s enough

you say this casually, without even looking up from your calculus assignment, like this really, actually doesn’t matter, like this isn’t what he’s been agonizing over for the better part of your friendship, like you don’t notice his wide eyes - reverent like you’ve just handed him the whole damn world - the absent tears falling down his cheeks

(and if you do- you do him the kindness of not mentioning it)

but the thing is, right- the thing is that hitoshi doesn’t trust easily, but once he does, it’s easy for him to get attached - maybe even dangerously so

and that’s where it all starts, you guess, and it never really ends

and it’s Interesting because hitoshi doesn’t necessarily believe himself good enough for you, not really

he’s not good for you, yeah, but he’s always been selfish, guarding things Precious to him in some tender, soft part of him that the world isn’t allowed to see, guarding them furiously and desperately and with all he has because he’s Nothing without them, without You

he’s selfish, so he is utterly, helplessly yours

or rather- you are utterly, helplessly his

and this is what he’s thinking, this is what his mind is screaming when he sees you with that idiot midoriya, your mouth twitching with something warm, something that looks like a Smile, a smile that’s only meant for him

and it’s a split second decision, really; a moment of anger and hurt and impulse, and he’s told himself, over and over again that he’s never gonna do this, not to you, never to you, he’s never going to prove them right, but-

it’s you

and he loves you, so, so much

and he’s doing this all for you, don’t you see? you weren’t able to love yourself like he did, weren’t able to see what he sees in you, so he makes you

you don’t even have the slightest chance of fighting back; your will from that point on is nothing but clay in his hands, molding and shaping into thoughts and words that would have never been there otherwise

but that’s okay, that’s good, you’re happy now, aren’t you?

you can eat well now, you can look at yourself in the mirror without hating what you see, you can smile without the hurt now, you can love him now

and you do, don’t you? yes, yes, you do, and he loves you too

Knew pretty early on but didn't want to believe it

It started with him joking when he smelled Macaque on you that you were cheating but when you acted kinda shifty about it he began to believe it

He seems to use disassociation and avoidance as his main coping mechanisms so if you were cheating on him with just another mortal he'd probably ignore it for a lot longer and act like everything's fine (while becoming more and more possessive and desperate since he knows any time you're not spending with him you could be spending with them) but the fact it's specifically Macaque really messes with him

Not just because of his rivalry with Macaque but also because it kinda feels like the universe is punishing him. He hurt Macaque and now Macaque is getting what Wukong wants.

He won't outwardly confront you but he will follow and watch you

He reasons it's because he's worried Macaque will hurt you and his poor little heart breaks a little more each time :[

He wants to give you the chance to come clean but the longer it goes on the more passive-aggressive he gets

"Hey Wukong can you pass me the-"

"Why don't you get Macaque to do it?"

He's a mess when he's left alone with his thoughts. He's angry and hurt. He wants to be angry at you but he can't because he still believes he doesn't deserve you. But damnit he wants you and he definitely doesn't trust Macaque with you.

Similar to how the "Macaque" episode went, I feel like Wukong would only intervene if Mac does try to hurt you or reveals he was just using you

You can see how it slowly eats at him, your once happy monkey doesn't come to greet you at the door, he stops eating with you, and the only time you're together anymore is when you're in bed at night, but even then Wukong distances himself

Eventually, if this continues, MK might even have to step in to confront you because Wukong won't even get out of bed

He sees you as so perfect and believes you deserve so much better than him; he believes its all his fault for not being enough.

Alternative Ending (fluff (kind of) ending):

Uh-oh, turns out Macaque was manipulating you

This ending plays out more like the "Macaque" episode where Mac turns on you, Wukong saves you, you apologize, he's all huffy, and then you hug (and kiss and cuddle and... other couple stuff-)

He's 100% not letting you out of his sight ever again though

Just like Wukong, he knows pretty early on

He doesn't bother hoping he's wrong, he immediately believes the worst because he's convinced the universe has a personal vendetta against him

He either finds out through scent, hearing, or because he already follows you in the shadows (man has issues)

Bitter af and seems to use a deflection coping mechanism

Deep down he feels he doesn't deserve you and this is all his fault

But he's not ready to face those thoughts so instead he just blames Wukong.

Oh and of course it's with Wukong; the man who took everything from him, of course he'd take you too

He leans more into pure rage; not necessarily directed at you, more towards Wukong, but he does have moments where he'll lash out at you

He's more confrontational and will yell at you for cheating on him, but he doesn't stick around long enough to have a genuine conversation about that

You're not even really sure if you're still dating or not or if that was his way of ending the relationship-?

Whatever progress he had made healing is almost immediately down the drain.

Unlike Wukong, he's a lot less likely to cling. He'll start distancing himself to make it hurt less

One day he'll just disappear

At that point, he's genuinely mad at you instead of just at Wukong

Pretty much feels the same about you now as he felt about Wukong in S1 - S3

He can't bring himself to try and kill you though

He is going to make your life hell while watching from the shadows though

Okay. Well for starters i think its really interesting how they both have very similar life experiences. so to speak. they both were essentially raised under the impression of filling a certain role (morro being the green ninja, echo being a replacement for zane) but were both "discarded" after not fulfilling that role and this is where we enter the Two Schools of Citrus Thought(tm) because youre either a Mr Echo truther (me af) or you like when echo is more mentally stable(also awesome and real) but im going to talk more about the first thing because i think its sooo interesting. because if you interpret echo's character arc that way then he and morro are essentially parallels in every regard. discarded after not fulfilling their purpose & out for revenge. and i love when bitches are parallels to each other so much(insane). but i think in the same way if you dont personally hc Mr Echo the ship still works in a fun and entirely unique but similar dynamic where theyre foils instead of parallels bc they have this similar experience but they came out Differently. where morro was discarded and became bitter and angry and echo was discarded but hes still optimistic about the world and not angry WHICH IS ALSO REALLY GOOD(i love narrative foils so much). and then u have my own personal au(<- insane person) where at the point morro meets echo he's already kind of learned his lesson about how revenge is pointless but he meets this person who he understands is going down the same path as he did and he now has grown as a person and can see his own flaws in someone else and instead of watching someone else make his own mistakes again he can prevent it(maybe). ok. im insane im crazy . anyway tldr i think that its really fun how they simultaneously work as both narrative parallels and foils to each other and i think their personalities compliment each other very well and i think they could help each other grow as people and also make each other worse(<- this is the insane part im crazy ignore this)

ill be honest i've never understood what people mean when they say this. I've seen the way leftists talk about white people, about straight people and cis people, and I know it's out of bitterness. I'll be honest, as a bisexual Indian woman living in america, I've had more negative run ins with men as a group than I've had with white people or straight people as a group.

Transphobia and homophobia are terrible - we can agree there. But unless you're going to tell me no one should hate anyone regardless of their personal experiences - you cannot expect most women (when we've all faced sexual subjugation of some kind) to be comfortable around men the way we are around other women. Men are oppressors - we fear them and there are reasons.

some women will say they hate men, will turn fear to anger, anger that they can't fucking go outside at night because they fear men. Anger that they can't even fully trust their boyfriend because of how common intimate partner violence is. Anger that their male coworker gets taken more seriously without the makeup and the heels. Anger at her husband for acting like an idiot to manipulate her into doing all the chores, eating away at her time and energy because he views her as a tool.

And that is a sign of their oppression - not an act of oppression against men.

Individual men can be good but as a group they fail to take accountability for each other's actions - and that is why all women are afraid, and why many are angry.

Men have made the mostly collective decision to send armies to war. For. Centuries. Women, historically, were not in a place to decide whether or not having militaries was a good idea. And even now, it's not a lot of women in power who get to decide these things.

War is a creation of man, not woman. It's not our fault, and expecting feminists to solve that is silly, and will not help women, which is the point of feminism. Even if men don't end up in the military they're going to be misogynistic - and even though the military is awful and I wouldn't wish it on anyone - you can't focus on everything or you'll get jack done.

There needs to be movements against the military system, but feminism should remain focused on women. Intersectional feminism and making women of color's voices heard is important, yes. The experiences of trans people should be valued, sure. But feminism can't become a hodge podge of everything - and frankly I think the making of it to become so is a large part of why Roe v. Wade's been turned - because we are no longer focused.

Just read the articles BK chats and really has no idea what fans want, I mean he killed/destroy jarry and that now something gonna happen with james and john paul. Plus that stupid who shoots merecdes sl, aslo Ive barely seen any positive comments about scott and Mitchell but he's magically seen loads. Feel like he kinda explain why he killed harry/jarry though cause he doesn't like love story with a villain and he seen james as a villain

It’s very clear that James is one of the most popular characters on the show and Greg is their best actor. James was part of a ship that had the biggest fandom since Stendan & McDean and BK destroyed the character, killed the ship and Greg’s best onscreen partner all in one go! For what?? So James can be a suspect in who shot Mercedes??? And then go back to dating JP?? unbelievable 

BK has zero comprehension of what the fans want to see. BK has tunnel vision and only sees what he wants to see and then latches on to 1 positive comment and blows it out of proportion. It’s clear as day that he has his favourites - Ste, Mercedes, Warren, Maxine, Sienna, Scott and JP and he will always talk about them positively and barely ever mention someone else. 

BK was going WAY overboard when praising the Scott/Mitchell actors -  In my opinion (and I know many other’s too) the guy that plays Mitchell is a really bad actor and Scott’s actor isn’t much better. Their ship had a few positive comments on Social Media and BK pretends like the audience loves them. Same goes for Sienna/Brody.

The Jarry fandom has had a HUGE social media presence online for over a year now. Yet BK has never said a single thing about Jarry, not a thing about James and Harry’s characters and relationship and nothing about how extremely popular they are. 

The HO media team aren’t blind. A lot, if not the majority of their top likes and comments have been about Jarry. Same goes for all the spoiler articles from DS, RT and Metro. But BK obviously dislikes Jarry and doesn’t care about them or James and Harry as characters, no matter how popular they are with the audience.

The only thing that BK has said about Jarry is that he found it refreshing that Ste wasn’t the bad guy for once, during the Jarry affair storyline!! And that should tell you everything you need to know.

Okami!reader acting as a 'mentor in sour armor' (like the trope) for Kuni. Where okami is jaded af by their life experiences but slowly grows attached to Kuni's humanity. Where it kinda reminds them of their younger self or somethin. So they (unwillingly) become Kuni's parental figure. "Oi kid, where are you going?" *points to nobushi camp* "Don't think about it (not until I show you how to fight-)". Okami trying really hard to keep him on the right track but their bitterness leaks to Kuni.

okami mc is just another person with heavy baggages from war and all the celestia shit that they just cant helo but mirror it through the changes in their personality. trauma and past experiences can really do shit, the same goes for kuni and okami knows that all too well, so they try to lessen his burdens but that's easier said than done :'>

besides, okami mc is just not too bothered with the way he is, they've seen worse and probably has no care left for anything other than their self and soon kuni bc he's their baby now oof fuck off ei

and it really is what influenced kuni! okami mc is not exactly egging him to go be bad, but its more like a "go do whatever u want, doesn't matter to me as long as you're being yourself ig" and kuni thought their nonchalance is equivalent to "they have low expectations, i need to prove them wrong" or "would they be more excited if i go berserk the same way they were when they first saw me?" because honestly they both suck at communication. okami mc in a way they just couldn't care less, and kuni because no one taught him how to express himself. just two equally fucked individuals who are trying their best but not enough sigh :/

so when kuni goes scaramouche and okami mc doesn't seem to try and stop him, he thought he's going in the correct path. so in some ways, it's part of what made him scaramouche, but mostly because he's still incredibly angry at the world. it doesn't help that okami mc also has a grudge towards the shogun okami mc lore let's goooo so scara just thought "yeah im also doing a favor for my adoptive mom/dad, they also hate the shogun lmao"

As you said, most of the things they do in run bts seems fun af and they always seems to be enjoying themselves. Idk, that anon needs to do some of these fun activities as well so they can be less bitter about other adults enjoying theses activities.

yeah and like- just a final point- what do people really think is more taxing? filming multiple ads and doing photoshoots for hours and days, or playing a boardgame with your 6 besties sitting on a floor of a hotel somewhere that will be made into many multi-part episodes that people will talk about for weeks. like...idk i know what one i'd choose in a heartbeat, and we can choose what we wear? im done. i think they took a break because they ran out of ideas for episodes and because they where hard to orchestrate during covid not because they hated it cuz ngl- you can see how much more genuine their smiles and laughter are during those moments in run then in other content they give us. at least the content which isn't paid ofc

Honestly the list of plot holes and mistakes over Harrys exit sl would be too long to even write from the ooc characters(harrys sexuality!!!) to that bloody password suddenly he had one and then suddenly he doesn't. I kinda see james burying himself in work until at some point he breakdown but I dont think they've doing that. Aslo now marine/romeo being occ they'd be telling him to find harry or for him to get help after drugging harry

the plot hole/OOC list would be endless! I can think of at least 10 things in 1 second!!!! But making the gay man sleep with a woman and use no protection so that she will conceive his child so that the crazy bad-dad serial killer can kill Harry has to take the cake!! 🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃

You’d think that esp Marnie would push James to find Harry and do him justice after the way James treated him!!! THE KING: ETERNAL MONARCH EP 11, My Appreciation and How It Made Me Feel

This chaos making Gon not able to comeback to see JTE in Korea for quite long time. As what JTE said on last eps ending, it took a while for him to come this time. I think it will be around a month already. This flashback is one of most beautiful thing this series has, i love every single word in this scene 💯 also The table has turn in here. In eps 2, it was Gon who said this to JTE. Here we see JTE say it “thats why im hoping today is a long day”

And what a shock! JTE saw PM doppelgänger on the street which actually is the real PM. Wah i cant imagine her doing this. What she wants anyway?

And also we saw Luna already in Korea. Messy messy. And im scared on what she can do to JTE. She is able to go with killing 😭 i seriously dont get it why sbs dont give KGE appreciation. She is damn good here!

This episode was very non linear. Chaos. From PM to Luna now JTE suddenly fainted. My mind rolling to think what comes next. Also we got to see JY meeting PM at the Alley ! Too much happening!

Gon is counting on the time stop (love to see him actually using the board and counting like a real mathematician) , he count that eventually time will stop a day and there will be a moment that time will freeze permanently 😭😭 creepy. At this point i really assume to myself that the biggest enemy for Gon here is not LR anymore, but Time. Herecomes my favorite number 1 scene from this series. Gon found that bookstore and knew that the traitor was the owner all along! Damn the king was angry!!

Then Battle Royale music came in. I mean. This series was definitely made for me. Every reference that they use was all my fav. How can i move on?! From the music, the massacre and Gon’s calm but angry face were great! I am more and more shocked on this kind of dark side that Gon has. Like, isnt he suppose to be fluffy? 😅 anyway. This scene was everything i need from an angry king who will take down all single traitor that trying to validate their bad action with “keeping the balance” . Die you all die! Love how Gon say “Kill Them” before the shots begin !

Gon is angrier to the fact that LR already switched the real traitor to his minion from Korea. Damn i love Gon expression here. Very angry. Here he is feeling scared that LR might have plan to change JTE that is why he is now rushing to look for her or her doppelgänger, each of them found will be a big relief for him.

But little that he knows, JTE abducted already. She is in this warehouse and very weak. With all the energy she still have she is the detective so she tries to see some runaway opportunities, this is what i love about her. She can be warrior when she has too. And she is try to save her ownlife doesnt need to wait for anyone.

She meet Yoyo boy, the conversation between them is not match actually. Also is it a mistranslation from Netflix ? Many assume she is Luna because in the translation she said to YB “but you, you’re in this world too.” This is wrong right? JTE is just said “너, 이쪽에도 있구나” she did not said anythimg about this world. The litteral meaning is just “so you are here too?” Means she is just remembering meeting this child before and say something like “you are here too?” Then its the YB that replied to her in riddle saying “theres only one me, i went there before” there is nobody said anything about which world, its just assumption. Therefore she is JTE and never Luna.

Here also comes YB important role since the thing got chaotic, he is now moving, he said “i warn people of danger and defeat enemy” and he helps JTE and hand her the knife. Remember when Luna said, “use the knife to protect what belongs to you” . Then YB says “im restoring the balance. There are too many enemies” exactly!!! I love this! YB is on her side. Then JTE use the knife to escape. And where is the Yoyo Boy? Dissapeared.

JTE realize now she is in Corea 😨 on the other side LR was angry because JTE escape. Then asking everyone to find here dead or alive. Wahh creepy af!

JTE was tired and weak but still tries to running away from those bad people. I wish i could insert the video instead, so the teaser we saw before is this scene. LR minion tries to catch / kill her and she is tired from running. She tries to reach the phone booth to call the palace. But what she saw in front of her were a bunch of people, many people, coming toward her and she only have 2 bullets left. But she is very brave and just face it, pointing the gun to them and just bitter smile. Damn you KGE, why you are so talented. This whole scene gave me chills!

Then just in time Gon found her and slice everyone with his swords to safe JTE. One of the most dramatic scene in Kdrama history. Everything is so extra. I love it. At first i feel that Gon is wasting his time to do this he can just ask the SWAT to kill them all. But then im re-thinking again. Nope, this is his fight. His love. He definitely has this feelings that this will be his fight using his most grand possesion which is the swords. And also his pride playing. Earlier we saw him furious as a King. Now we see him here furious also as a Man. Damn. Can i get one like him? Please? Also he declares that JTE is the future queen of Corea? 🥺

How it made me feel:

Eps 11 was total chaos. This is the premise and charm of this series. A non linear kind of story. It is so chaos which makes us thinks of way to solve it? Is it even possible to solve this chaos? How? On what terms? Is it just to sacrifice their love? Is it sad ending?

I LOVE IT! A story that keeps me wondering on what, why, when, where and how? This story have all of it. More than what i expected. I love the progress of the story, love all characters growth, there is a clear development, things are getting darker and darker. Many cool reference used here, many great words. Basically the script was that good ya. Just when we think something is clear, another chaos shows up. And im waiting for the next episode like crazy. How can they left us like this??? I cant wait even for a day!

Now we just need to see where KSJ and JY will go because we only see a little of them here.
