"Alright cool. So I don't need to give the convoluted answer." He joked wryly as a fresh bowl of stale pretzels was tossed in front of them. "Thanks boss." He said flashing a quick smile to the bartender before tossing a handful in his mouth and washing it down with cheap beer.
"Well if we're talking inhumans specifically and not including nuhumans there are two main places I can think of. I'm willing to bet both wouldn't be on your bingo card. The moon and Greenland. I'm from the Greenland one."

Daisy considered the question for a long few questions, not sure where she even wanted to start. She had plenty of questions, but a starting point seemed hard to find when she didn't know anything about this other reality's Inhumans.
"How did Inhumans start in your reality?" She settled on, raising an eyebrow as she took another sip from her beer and quickly swallowed it. "That was a convoluted way to ask that, I just.. my mom had the only colony I knew of on Earth-Prime, and it didn't end well. Any other Inhumans I've met went through terrigenesis after all of that."

"Huh. For someone who might be allergic you seemed awfully eager to pet him." He replied amused as he struggled to fight the sumptuous temptation of the cheap hotdog and maintain polite conversation; the burden of civilization. "Which is something you are allowed to do. Unless he growls or snaps at you." He mused before taking a large satisfying bite of his mustard coated dream.

Scott was tempted to reach out towards the dog to pet it. It was instinctual, really, even if he knew that he was technically working. But he managed to hold himself back as he instead offered both of them a soft smile. "No, I'm not allergic. At least, I don't think I am."

"'Course I have. I'm blind not def." He responded sarcastically. "So stressed that you forgot who I was?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"If you were expecting a rant, I don't have it in me today. Most of the people in this reality haven't even heard of the Inhumans. Wait — have you?"

"He's only working when I'm working really." He said giving her a nod of approval. Forey wasn't so much help him with his lack of vision but more so kept him from going crazy from the crippling loneliness.

"Oh, no! I think dogs are great! What's his name?" Cindy paused, barely resisting the urge to just reach out and touch him. "Can I pet him? Or is he working?"

"Yeah no problem." He replied with a small smirk and a nod. The light glimmering off of his metallic visor. Forey put his paws up on her chair with a bit of a stretch and a greeting before he dropped back down and started digging back in to his pig ear treat.
"So what do you want to know?" He asked taking a sip of his drink and waving over the bartender. "Hey, can we get some more of these pretzels? Thanks." He said with a nod before taking another sip of his beer.
Reader knew a lot of things. Just a lot of them were tragic or unfortunate. He's lived in multiple inhuman colonies and never really found any to be a true home, but New Atillan got close to it. At the very least he'd be able to tell her an awful lot about inhuman society.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Daisy was... hesitant, to say the least, to actually meet up with the mysterious Inhuman she'd seen at the meeting. It was always risky meeting new people, but she had a base level of trust given the share genes the two of them had.
For years, her main passion had been seeking out other Inhumans and helping them out however she could. But meeting an Inhuman from another reality? She was more than curious to hear about this Attilan place that he was apparently from. An Inhuman utopia. It sounded like exactly what her mother wanted.
And while that almost put a bad taste in her mouth, her curiosity won out her hesitation. By the time she made it to the bar, she smiled faintly over to Reader at his greeting before remembering that he couldn't actually see her. Taking a seat next to him, she graciously accepted the beer and took a long sip. "Thanks. For the beer and for meeting up with me."

"I know where this is going. Cannibalism can cause long lasting psychological damage but don't worry, it's not made of real dog. Or at least I don't think it is... What do they actually make these with...?"
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"Uh no, no I'm not." Peter glanced between the man and the dog he was feeding, shaking his head. "Does he always get hot dogs or is it like, a special occasion?"

"Right... I'm from a world with mutants so you don't need to go into it. You've had to make that speech a lot lately haven't you?"
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"I get that the term mutant may seem weird at first. Homo superior definitely isn't much better. People are just big into labels. But I promise, we're not scary. Well, most of us aren't."

"In general? Eh. On this scale? Oh yeah." He said rubbing at his large scare on his forehead. "I've seen this kind of stuff before, but all these people from all these places? That's new."
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"I may be new to actually being a superhero, but I'm not new to the world of capes. Correct me if I'm wrong, but this reality jump is a big deal, right? It feels like a big deal."

After the conference, if it could even be called that, at the Baxter building Daisy and Reader had agreed to meet. Reader didn't have anything better to do in this world right now and she seemed real interested in getting to know another inhuman, so why not?
Reader waited at the bar she suggested beer in one hand and his other resting on Forey's head scratching him behind the ear. It was weird to be on this whole new earth so similar but yet so different from what he was used to. However, if there was one thing about Reader it was that he was adaptable. His life had always been in flux and enveloped in chaos, this was no different.
As Daisy made her way in Forey perked up and nudged Reader's leg. "Thanks, bud." He said offering him a pat and a treat behind the ear. He turned toward the door and gave a wave to where he had assumed Daisy was and ordered an extra beer. If she didn't want he'd have a second.

"Well that's great, isn't it." He said kicking his feet up and taking a sip from his flask as Forey leapt onto his lap. "You're a strange, right? You should be able to figure this out."
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"If you've come to ask for my help, I know just as much as you do." Which was unfortunately, nothing. It was a hard pill for Stephen to swallow, but it was the truth.

"I mean. Don't know anything and eat pizza doesn't sound like a bad time in any reality."
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"Look, my first rule of multiversal travel is that you don't know anything. Just eat some pizza and don't lose your mind. We'll figure it out."

"I mean, we could always sue Eternity, right?"
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"Yeah, I'm gonna stop you there. We can't exactly sue the multiverse. Unless you can point me in the direction of an actual person or entity, we're shit outta luck right now."

"Why? Good to see you not a great introduction." He said with a chuckle and a smirk.

"Can we start over? Please? It's been a weird day. Well, week. Things are just weird right now overall."

"We ate seal and whale a lot growing up. Finding out it wasn't the most ethical thing in the world now, but it's in the past. That is to say, if it swims and breathes air I want to try it. Unless it's illegal and people are watching."
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"c'mon now, don' look at me like dat." Remy looked defensive. "y'aint never had 'gator?" the meat sizzled in a pan over the stove, looking indistinguishable from little chicken nuggets. Didn't taste like 'em though. Gator had its own thang goin' on. Little bit like chicken, but not quite, "And yer lookin' at me like I'm weird." he scoffed. "y'know what they say, don't knock it 'til you tried it." he gave the pan a lil shake, rollin' the bites onto the other side to get 'em good and golden brown all over.

"Yeah I don't care what it looks like. If it tastes good I eat it." Reader said with a small smirk before digging in. "You realize the whole 'you eat with your eyes first' shit is bull once you get them removed."

"I know your biscuits are different but it just looks weird, mate." Hobie looked at the substance again. American Gravy didn't seem to look right. "Why's it grey?" a beat "it's like a bird's gone and shat on your plate." was that insulting? "No offense." he added.

"Not allergic to dogs are you? If so you should start holding your breath." Reader said handing Forey, his seeing eye dog and companion, one of the two hot dogs he just bought.
