it was actually so frustrating when gotham nocturne was in its middle stages and i was going insane over it every month meanwhile No One online was reading it. because ‘it’s too long’ or ‘it’s too complex :( ’ or they just didn’t. care. meanwhile everrrrrywhere I looked there was people throwing up raging at the heavens burning things in effigy because they were so mad at gotham war. and like. at some point it Does become your fault. because why in the hell would you continue to read (and BUY!!!!) GOTHAM WAR. a storyline most people here hated. instead of gotham nocturne which was releasing at the same time. meanwhile everyone turns around and waxes poetic about how dc doesn’t have complex storytelling anymore and doesn’t write about interesting themes etc etc. when you complained about gotham nocturne for doing exactly that. like i have nothing against hate reading but at some point you have to acknowledge that you are part of the reason why the story quality at dc is declining because you buy trash that you know you’ll hate every month and can’t be bothered to read or talk about the actual good lovingly made stories.
