my personal feelings on gender just dont align with the trans/cis idea and realizing that that is as much construct as gender roles has been freeing. it also got me to understand people who are reluctant to use sexual labels more. it’s hard to talk about something when youre coming up with an understanding never before articulated to you. it’s hard when you know the way things are doesnt feel right but you dont have any other way

#not to say i dont love and admire trans ppl and philosphy and work for our understanding and control of sex/gender…#its beautiful how many ppl figure themselves out and know how to see the world and have people to hold them up #im an everliving hashtag trans ally #but im talking about myself. and maybe even artists i identify with. but thats btwn me and myself
