you don't even flinch when you wake up with him in your room telling you he needs to give you some medicine or take your blood or something. none of these are real things, you aren't a real patient anymore you're just his toy. the medicine he gives you keeps you weak so you couldn't fight back if you even had the will to. he would also give you aphrodisiacs when you're well behaved aka an empty husk.

im probably not gonna add anymore ocs for a while but if i did it would probably be a concept like this. i really like the concept in fiction of people like doctors or nurses taking advantage of a really vulnerable person like that just for their selfish love.

Okay but imagine if the reader got transport in the welcome home universe but they're body remain the same (flesh and blood) and if the cast yandere too? Oh, the chaos!

I like to imagine that it would cause a heavy conflict for all them (the puppets) since the reader aren't not like them and they sure don't know how the human body work ( i mean they literally just stuff of cottons and fabric) . But they'll try.

Can you blame him that your way of food was different/fascinating? The Reader gets essentially isekaied to the WH world/WH cast gets isekaied to our world are arguably my favorite kind of WH fics (of which is very odd for me cause I usually don't like isekai fics/stories in general)

I definitely agree that none of them have any clue about how our body works, I doubt any of them have a biology book about human anatomy so whenever we mention/talk about bones, muscle tissue or blood vessels they won't understand what on earth we're saying. I can't recall if it's canon that Wally just likes to stare a lot or if it's more of a fanon thing, but if it is true then I can only imagine how y/n feels whenever he's around. Wally is, just like his last name, a darling to be around but those eyes, you'd swear he knows all your regrets & bad life choices & somehow feeling his stare on you but not knowing where exactly he is whether you snack on a jibarito or an apple, you'll just feel this heavy weight on your shoulders & be beyond nervous &/or anxious like-

With the whole we have an extra finger thing, while I can certainly see it fitting Howdy & Barnaby, assisting Howdy with his shop & giving us amazing hugs because of his extra arms & Barnaby receiving undoubtedly the best scratches he's ever had in his life, like what on earth? Where have you been his whole life? Though I can see this also applying to Julie. Oh how she'd love to paint our nails! I feel like Eddie would hand you letters written by either him or Wally other neighbors as you'd be, naturally confused if you suddenly appeared here with no memory on how you got here or if there's a way to get out, But why would you wish to go back? This neighborhood is practically perfect!. When he first mentioned having delivered mail in other areas before, it'd bring you much joy & hope, a way back home? Yes please! Nico really is such a special case because he's the only character we meet with powers that are in any way antithetical to mortal life. Even with the other Hades/Pluto kids, we never actually see Bianca develop her abilities and Hazel's powers predominantly revolve around Pluto's wealth sphere of influence (I can't remember, do we ever see her do any death stuff?). That complicates things, because it makes it really hard to judge what about his powers and their effect on him is because of him specifically and how much is just because he's a living person who radiates death energy. I like the comparison to chronic illness, it's very easy to read the backlash Nico gets from his power that way. I don't know if it would work that way for all chthonic deities or just death-based ones since again not even the Pluto kid gets the same backlash Nico does (fun fact, Demeter and Hermes can be classed as chthonic deities, did not know that), but it definitely fits Nico. But I'd say it does say something about his power level that despite his powers working against him all the time he's still absolutely one of the top two most powerful demigods in the series and arguably the most powerful period.

Also obsessed with the idea of godhood as a form of death, thank you. I've thought about godhood as a curse, but not as a kind of death. I'll be honest, the reason I went with Nico as Zagreus reborn rather than just Nico becoming a god is because the myth of Zagreus allows (with some fiddling since in the myths Zagreus died as a baby and that's no fun and also technically that's from the version where he's Zeus's son but whatever we know like two things about him I can do what I like) for Nico to have the soul of a god who died, which is the most on brand thing for him and also allows for reincarnated soulmates which. you know. good shit. Going with becoming a god as a form of death fits very nicely with that! And also you can go even further with it if Nico is a reincarnated god who's going to have to reclaim that godhood in terms of like... is he still going to be him once he's a god, or will he be the person he was as a god? Godhood as a form of death doubled with regaining memories of a past life as a form of death! Very fun, very fitting.

Send help, it's 3 AM and I cannot sleep because the concept of Nico being Zagreus—not the Hades character, the myth, although still from the version where he's Hades and Persephone's son rather than the version where he's a prior incarnation of Dionysus—reborn has entered my head and decided to set up shop for the foreseeable future. It actually feels incredibly fitting from what I know about the myth of Zagreus (which is admittedly not a lot) and aspects of the books like Nico's unique connections with both Dionysus and Hades in specific and the gods in general (and possibly Bob if we do some mix-and-matching of the myths, since Dionysus-Zagreus was dismembered and partially eaten by Titans on account of the Greek myths being A Time) and the whole "When the time comes you have to tell Will the truth about who you are" thing in TSatS that goes all sorts of nowhere. I don't know, obviously I don't think it's what Rick intended but I do think it could very easily fit into the canon of the books!
