Throwback to the time I watched gameplay of CoD Ghosts with my bestfriend

I called the bed bunks "cute" and said it out loud when we first got to the scene,

My best friend looked at me and questioned my design choices like "what are you on rn",

To which I point out they got their own lil curtains for privacy!

Also there are apparently metal trunks right beneath the thin mattresses, I'd assume they swing rather than pull out from looking at the single handle grabby thing, also there's a table with a map on the middle of the room.

Details i think about constantly from the novelizations of The Dragon Prince:

King Harrow made that doggy door for Bait himself instead of letting the royal carpenter do it

Viren calls hugs ‘familial clasp’

Amaya makes Ezran and Callum a full breakfast at the Banther Lodge and is described as ‘A breakfast connoisseur’

Corvus wears a cloak in his initial appearance

When Viren first tries to sieze the crown he fully puts on coronation robes before Amaya stops the ceremony (side note i couldn’t stop laughing thinking about it in terms of having your wedding crashed)

When Gren hesitates translating Amaya saying ‘Bullshit’ she turns to him and signs ‘Say it.’

Its stated that Soren ‘adored Callum and Ezran.’ And he hoped that they were still alive (said when Viren told him to kill the princes)

When Ezran was drowning in the icy water trying to get Zym he dreamt of his mother hugging him

Soren pretended he thought Claudia’s nose tap was stupid whenever their dad was around cause Viren thought it was stupid. But when their dad wasn’t around Soren would tap his nose in response to her

Oh yeah Ezran not only can speak to animals and sense their emotions. He can FEEL their pain. He felt Pyrrah’s pain when she was shot.

Opeli during a council meeting with Harrow as king objected one of his ideas then became scared she would demoted or killed but Harrow assigned her head of the council that day

Ezran recognizes Corvus? (Possibly cause he was in Amaya’s Battalion)

When Soren makes his Dragon Smash Boy ‘Haiku’ and Claudia tells him he got the wrong number of syllables he yells “Well, Im rebelling against the tyranny of the Haiku!”

Claudia was in the puzzle house when Viren and Kpp’Ar got into their argument and accidentally overheard them

Amaya initially offered her hand to Janai when she was dangling off the cliff but Janai refused it.

Playing Arkham Knight on new game plus again and I've got more screenshots tehehe

I love looking at all the environments and absorbing all the little details in them, especially in Riddlers hideout at the orphanage.

I also like this feature where the more you progress throughout Riddlers mission, the more of the orphanage is painted with his graffiti.

Meanwhile, Selina is just here watching him paint like-

She definitely wants to kick his ass while he does that but knowing Eddie, he definitely has the detonator on hand to keep her back XD

in his 5yg design, miles goes through many hairstyles so you are welcome to experiment with the hairstyles in your fanart (nothing too intricate tho, he would probably prefer quick hairstyles in this part of the au)

5yg miles is wearing phoenix's signal samurai shirt under the hoodie

5yg miles' bangs are very long and messy

chapter 2 miles sometimes doesn't wear his suit jacket. underneath the jacket he has dark brown suspenders

chapter 2 miles' bangs are still long, but not as messy anymore

this is a small detail but it means a lot, phoenix von karma's lil hair details on the sides of his face curve up (kind of like horns), instead of curving down like they do in other designs

phoenix's hair is more spiky, less fluffy in the 5yg and chapter 2

5yg phoenix has long cloaks too! if you wanna draw him with long cloaks go ahead!

chapter 2 phoenix only wears rapier cloaks however, so keep that in mind

phoenix has a rapier sword with the initials "P.V.K." monogrammed on the handle

phoenix is left handed so make sure to draw his rapier and his cloak on his right side

With Krok now on my mind, it's reminded me of like, the whole deal of him coping with the loss of his squad by believing they'd just become separated? Because that bit is such a fascinating aspect of his character to me.

It's vague in a way that doesn't totally confirm whether he truly 100% deluded himself, or if he just kept telling himself that to try and distract from the truth and memories he didn't want to face.

(Which, for some reason this pisses Misfire off? Which implies something really interesting there about Misfire and his own coping mechanisms and issues that we don't get much of a peer into unfortunately.)

Anyway, I spent way too long thinking about it when I was reading through the comics. And it's like, did studying battles and strategy play a part in this delusion/lie?

Like, you're a being that lives for millions of years, in the middle of a war spanning those millions of years. So, at some point, surely those battles are going to start to blur together. So you've got that, and then you go and face a frankly horrifically traumatic fight that quite literally rips the people you cared about most, and felt responsible for, apart.

Presumably, Decepticons aren't the greatest at handling shell shock and other such side effects of war. So they just take this freshly traumatized mess of a dude, take him off the front lines and plant him on a warworld to aid the fight from a more comfortable distance.

With all this, the mind is bound to be fickle when faced with such sudden loss and change. But Krok obviously did his job there, or at least he was very knowledgeable on history and tactics beforehand.

Either way, he studied battle after battle, went through records of fight after fight, planned for what's next and reconsidered what had already happened. Hundreds of wins and losses.

So did it get jumbled there? In having a head full of battles, did some of them blur and mix with the one that took everything away from him? In trying to solve the failures of past battles, did he try and find where a victory could've been had against the wreckers that day? Did he find a solution that would've had his squad still whole and alive?

From there, did it slip into delusion, or a desperate lie to keep himself going?

I feel like his "mental health matters" moment was an interesting insight into it and possibly the average soldier's rough outlook on trauma. But it was still very surface level I think, but I guess going too deep into the why's and how's wouldn't have been important until maybe the Scavenger centric comics that uh, never happened :/

Consider: HcVH X Persona 4

Etho's a transfer from the city to the peaceful country side, staying with his old friends Beef, Doc and Bdubs. But when he enters the town, strange murders begin to occur, all while a new mysterious "Midnight Channel" becomes the talk of the town. (not to mention this guy called Igor also introducing himself in his dreams) Aside from his old friends, he makes friends with 3 of his classmate (Iskall, False and Stress), which marks the start of a year long investigation into the mysterious world of the TV and the truth behind the murders.

And maybe a lot more truths will be spilled about the people around them than any of them realise.

The current join order I have is: Etho, Iskall, False, Stress, Joe, Xisuma, Hypno, Xb, Wels. I might change it in the future but for now I think this is all good.

but ofc there's still a lot of other details i need to sort out (social links, everyone's arcana, who are the remaining social links, base-upgrade-final personas, shadow form designs + boss forms...) yeah it'll be a while haha
