ranking this from favorite to least favorite

1. Onodera Ritsu

The best character in my humble opinion and so far every ritsu hater is a takano or yokozawa simp so hmm,, interesting. anyway he's the best written one and people either kin him or are just obsessed with drawing him, no in between.

2. Hatori Yoshiyuki

people who hate hatori are pussies. he is so hot. like jesus fuck. i wouldnt mind getting the herp from him. but in all seriousness, i think people SERIOUSLY overreact when reading the novels cause he's not really different from the other sihjr tops, it's just written with a lot of detail for no reason. anyway he's also the least developed i believe? in terms of his own backstory. I want to know about him. I want to know why he's such a grump and so stoic. I want to know how bad his farts stink

3. Kisa Shouta

i liked him more when he was shallow tbh but thats just my drama loving ass talking. anyway he's the most relatable to adults who have had faulty relationships and depression n love their job (and also hate it). ngl i dont even find him attractive, hes like the only sihjr boy i do not really simp for at all

4. Chiaki Yoshino

To the people who hate Chiaki: Grow up.

5. Yukina Kou

People who hate yukina don't exist cause I killed them. But also i like him a lot less than I should. He's so normal. He's the least problematic (unless you count him slapping the fuck out of kisa problematic) character and he's the only person who hasn't committed sexual assault. That's great and all, but there's not much else for me to like him besides the fact that he's got a banging body n face and has a nice personality. thats really it.

6. Yokozawa Takafumi

he's that one dude i remember actively HATING when i was younger but now he aint that bad. something about him is very hot and i wish he lactated. but he's not a favorite of mine, his conflict with ritsu honestly upset me way more than it should (even if it was in good faith since takano was leading him on fr). good character, just not my favorite.

7. Kirishima Zen

he's hot. that's it. his hair makes me think of caramel

8. Takano Masamune

My identity hc for them

oh shit tumblr is auto formatting in bullet points thats fun. uhhh w/rei i pretty much like any combination of ace/aro spec + lesbian. 100% lesbian rei? aro lesbian rei? aroace rei? all epic all amazing. i started hc'ing this back in like.. vv early sdra days. and i think its just part of who i am now... i think she doesnt really experience much attraction in general and has a bit of a hard time labeling how she feels because. of her general emotional trauma. so tbh i can see her kinda rotating through labels? i think she keeps it very to her self tho. she doesn't like people assuming she's cishet but she also doesn't want to come out as straightn't, so she just snaps at people who try and drag her into convos about identity.

similarly i think she struggles with really.. going "wow this is so me this is exactly what i am" when it comes to gender identity. i think she's very.. "well im Definitely not a guy, and i dont think im anything else, so..." ie, she's more prone to defining herself by what she isn't than what she is. which is perfectly okay!!! i don't think she'd consider herself trans, but she may occasionally like the label genderqueer. (yes i know that trans people r anyone who's gender deviates from what they were told they should be, but while it is an umbrella term, people can decide if they like it for themselves a lot! and i don't think rei would really like any label other than "idk man its weird", which she likes to use on/off) again tho i dont think she's very into sharing that with people, at least as a teen.

Thoughts on their home life/family

im so curious what her time was like when she was all alone??? i think that's something thats fairly unexplored, is her time between her parents not being able to care for her, and her becoming self-sufficient. ultimately i dont have much to say here, i like how linuj handled her backstory, i just think it wouldve been cool to see more of it, not that there was any good place to write it in, but i love bonus modes and would like to see maybe how the dra survivors coped w/what they learned in the sixth trial in a bonus mode about how the kisa foundation became what it is now.

How i feel about their canonical writing/handling

mmm... tbh. i like rei, i think her growth from dra to sdra2 was handled well- she still feels like rei, while also serving her narrative role- ie. there's not much you can do when shawty gets exploded in the prologue and then has to play second fiddle to tsurugis viola of fucking evil. sadly, we can't do much with the kisa foundation and showing how rei and tsurugi have changed and have the pacing of the chapter still be intact, when we see rei, its mostly just her being voice of reason because someone has to give exposition on what the foundation knows while tsurugi has a meltdown. i think her development feels authentic and natural, if she maybe feels a biiit.. i dont know how to word it, but she almost feels a bit too calm? less snarky at points than i'd think she'd be, and than what i'd like to see. but again, we can explain that as being due to the role she has to play for the story.

ultimately, while not necessarily my cup of tea, i'm just not prone to latching onto characters like rei a whole lot! i def think she's handled well, oddly well for linuj in general, and v oddly well for a female character written by linuj. i like her, im just not brain rotted about her

The one thing i’d want to make canon about them

hmmmmm... im not gonna lie i can't really think of anything? after thinking about it while i typed up. essentially the whole rest of this post, i think it'd be cool if she and kabuya were friends after sdra2. yuuki is... .... ..........lets not talk about what hes up to, syobai and iroha are just a whole fucking mess. theyre a bit busy dealing with heads in boxes. and tsurugi is just sooo normal he's too normal really.

so i think they could meet and chat about how Fucking Insane the games were, in a way that other kg survivors wouldnt get, since they didnt have to deal with divine luck and what it does to people. also seeing as akane saved rei in dra and then. ya know. Soruko. i think that'd be a interesting convo for them to have, both kinda understanding more about akane taira. i think that'd be really neat!

My number one favorite ship for them

hm.... reikako by default of i dont think much about rei ships, and they have a significant amount of canon material. i do wonder though what their relationship was like pre-despair, it feels like a lot of the school life info we have is on utsuro or tsurugi? buuut yeah. also as kinda established i think rei is uncertain where she stands on attraction/her thoughts change a lot and. yeah. so this is less a romantic thing and moreso i want inside linujs brain so i can know what he thinks except he like. officially has stated he doesnt know shit abt sdra anymore which is SO UPSETTING

…Now everyone else i ship with them

i think rei/kizuna/kiyoka could be cute!!! also i kinda just like giving akane gfs, and i don't really think they'd be that compatible, but i think if they had a weird little queercoded friendship for like. the duration of one year during their stay at hpa, and it leaves akane feeling more confident and comfortable with herself as her own person, and leaves rei with a LOT of questions, while they also never really cross the line between friends and something more, that'd be cool and fun. just normal gals being pals things.

The thing i will NEVER ship

im so sorry. 2020 sdrainsta has made me incapable of terurei propaganda. i support people who ship it as a matter of fact im so glad we r now in a place where people can ship it or not ship it and everyone can just be fine and happy. but i dont think ill ever be able to see the vision.

a dynamic/relationship i wish was explored more (in canon, or in fandom)

i wish in sdra2 we saw more on the dynamic that grew between rei and mikako in dra. i think it'd be cool to see that discussed a bit more seeing how it was. mikakos in game memories that formed the basis for sora iirc.

thoughts on their design (appearance-wise)

mmm...... why the fuck did linuj use so much blue in the dra cast color palettes... i remember i had this dentist appointment that was really evil and like. literal hours longer than it was supposed to be, and to try and distract myself i went through the cast and counted who had blue in their design and who didnt. it took a long time because i was in so so so much pain but like. iirc its just mikako akane and yuki. and also mikako wears blue in ch4. so. THATS NOT RELEVANT THOUGH.

uhhhh. im not a huge fan of her outfit just because i dont like the skirt. her og design was a school uniform and i think it kinda shows and im not a huge fan of it? my brain keeps getting mixed up on the length of her skirt but yeah. its just so vibrant and pigmented and so is her hair and its like. the lower half of her fit just feels so high school uniform and i dont really like it. i think her hair is super cute in the bonus sketch (the just-woke-up one) on her character sheet tho.

i also don't really like her fit in sdra2. i think the labcoat is super nice (i like the ombre effect it looks good) and while its not too practical i dont hate the vest short skirt tights combo. but im not a fan of the color palette, its just so dark, so u have her bright hair and the bright coat, but the dark grey and black, in vertical stripes just kinda dominates it in my brain. and i don't really like it? i really dont like the grey with her hair.

she is very pretty. but im not a fan of the fits linuj puts her into

hmmm.. this is a very foreign concept to me but i dont think reis huge on music. i think for the most part she listens to songs she has memories associated with- she doesn't seem huge on the arts or. ya know. emotional connection? so i think while she wouldn't really vibe with anything particular of her own accord, listening to music which was playing when something emotional happened to her both improves the music, and also. helps her with being in touch with her emotions and letting herself feel. if that makes sense?

tbh! i go back and forth on whether i view him as gay or bi. so. hm. uhh canonically likes guys, and i don’t really have any consistent thoughts past that! + canonically a trans guy. my boy fits the “can’t go out without wearing 4+ layers” stereotype… rip.

  - Thoughts on their home life/family

hmm. what’s something we won’t cover in canon- OH. so, he has two older sisters, and  his maternal grandparents had three kids- two girls, and a boy, with the boy being the oldest (koba mom (yuriko) is their youngest child). so koba and his siblings are a mirror reflection of their mom and her siblings. also, her mom has a very dear friend she’s been close with for forever, and is also close with his wife now. koba considers their children to be his cousins- this is why he has some french knowledge, they live in france! has one cousin who he especially likes, a lass a few years older than him.

- How i feel about their canonical writing/handling

i feeeel… like he can feel a bit one note/flat? but.. i think completing his ftes will show a sort of depth to him that comes through in the main game, if you know it’s there. (also some of his feeling flat does come from me boyfailing in the past when it comes to writing. so.)

- The one thing i’d want to make canon about them

hm. less so something i want to make canon, moreso… something i hope people pick up on? my boy is constantly trying so hard to protect his peace. the only reason he comes across as okay as he does is because maeda only sees him at breakfast and dinner, and maeda is kinda a dunce, so he hasn’t noticed that kobashikawa is connnstantly self soothing. again. maeda is our protag and oh how that limits things. but- OH. holiday event, the start of harus arc. the way he tries to console himself, but then just distracts himself until things go away? yeaaah.

- My number one favorite ship for them

kisaragi! cuz kobas huge on building planes, and kisa is a inventor. i think they’d have fun working together!! parallel play :]. also koba has a fwend he knew for like.. a year? in elementary school. who also attends hopes peak! that year of school was Really Rough on koba, so he kinda. just isn’t as eager to reconnect? bc of poor associations. but fwend is… maybe he doesn’t quite understand, but he’s trying! and he has a very good heart. so i don’t really ship them but sometimes i see stuff that makes me go “oh… it’s them 🥺” so. ya know!!

mmm.. i’m actually redesigning his fit rn but i think his general color palette is a vibe!! it’s been consistent since betas inception and has stayed the same. i kinda tend to give up on his fit cuz it never works with me,, but surely this time it will all work out for me… yes…..

uhhhhh. like or like like - miniature tigers. specifically the chorus/“do you like or like like me? juuuuust sayyyy youu do…” gives me him vibes. i think he tends to make people go 👀 at him so if he was ever uncertain if someone liked him back he wouldn’t really be able to deal with it well? like or like like works because the phrase is a more light hearted/less serious way of seeing if someone feels the same, but it’s also like… again that line is accurate to what koba would want- for that person to just say they like him (tho, while that’s what he’d want to ask of them, if they actually just said yes bc he asked. he’d be v upset)

the king - conan gray, is similarly kobashikawa trying to Cope if the one time he wants someone, it doesn’t come easy to him. this song is one i have down for both him and otori lol. the only exception - paramore, is also very much so a them song. theres probably other songs i associate with him that i’m forgetting about but he’s being spoiled rn compared to the other kids. so.

36: what makes them feel guilty?

- it depends on like. what point in her life but for most of the time period when the story actually takes place she gets like this absurd guilt whenever she lets herself enjoy like. anything. also killing people makes her feel guilty but she feels like she has to (her sword feeds on blood and death so thats like a whole Thing) in order to get stronger and complete her goal (which is a little unclear to me rn but atm its probably "become powerful enough to challenge and kill the Dark Lord™️". im doing some plot revisions rn so a lot of stuff is a little unclear)

46: if they were to fall in love, who (or what) is their ideal?

- her ideal is kisa. ok but like seriously though like deep deep down she just wants to be the princess to someone's knight. her ideal is someone who will take care of her and protect her and make her feel good, but at the same time someone who will challenge her and complement her skills and interests at the same time. and kisa's that person, ever since they were kids! kisa is also someone she can take care of, in a way, too, which is also really important to her. i honestly dont think either of them could ever actually for real fall in love with anyone else because tbh they're like completely obsessed with each other. and part of the story is them learning to be a little less obsessed with each other but still they are easily the closest any of my oc couples come to "soulmates". i think they tone down a bit as they get older and eventually have kids (twins!) and the kids turn into the Most Important Thing but i also think they would be those like really embarrassing parents who are like all sappy with each other in front of everybody (which is more normal in their culture(s) but still. they'd be embarrassing)

Thoughts for ep 10

I have to control my breathing before I collected my thoughts coz this ep triggered me.

I always say this but this is like peak Akito in god mode. BIG APPLAUSE FOR SAKAMOTO-SAN for portraying Akito so well. She did Akito's voice justice. I like how they didn't add music on some serious scenes and it made it even more haunting. Momiji is the GOAT in this ep. I knew it was coming but I didn't know I would cry this bad. It's also worth noting that Akito loves to physically hurt Momiji (like slapping him in the future episode) and also amplified what Haru said to Momiji on episode 6 wherein Akito is not very fond of him. He just stand up to Akito despite his fears coz he doesn't want Akito to go near Tohru. (THAT'S WHY UR IN MY GOD-TIER CHARACTERS BUNNY BOY).

I was always indifferent with Akito coz I read the manga but I don't care that the beach arc really fueled my anger on this fucking god. I was all "get away from him!!" This ep I think also caught a glimpse of Akito and Shigure's real relationship thru focusing on their dialogues and that other bitch Ren was also mentioned so it really doubled my fury. Also Kureno's gloominess is very infectious.

Next is Tohru and Akito's confrontation which is hands down one of my favorite scenes. Everything in that scene was executed so hauntingly and you can really see that disturbed look on Tohru's face. Plus, this scene is where you notice these two are foil to each other. I love every bit on that (but next time, Akito, trim ur nails dammit.) AND AND AND that hug between Momiji and Tohru just broke my heart more. Also, I remember that the adults and the teens were the only ones present after that confrontation which is a little relief coz I cannot imagine how Kisa would feel. Even Hiro.

Another GOAT in this ep is Tohru. My baby girl is finally breaking the curse. When she said that line, I was applauding so much. This ep heavily focuses on her inner monolgue and can I just say kudos to Manaka Iwami. She really brought that gentle yet determined voice in Tohru when she wanted to protect the Sohmas. You can see the way she's actively shifting her thoughts by breaking the Sohma curse as her goal. THIS IS REALLY THE STARTING POINT OF MY BABY GIRL'S DEVELOPMENT. IM HERE FOR IT.

I'm just so thankful for the second half of the ep whereon they're just enjoying each other's company. I love this part coz you get to see them enjoying for the first time like a family but it juxtapositions Tohru's monologue wherein she explains how much the Sohmas longed for freedom. Idk if my memory from the manga has gone hazy but I think Rin waa not in that chapter so I love how they included her in this ep. It really makes sense since she questioned Shigure abt this (but where is she staying??)

Anyway, that ending was a masterpiece. The music. The fireworks. Tohru's monologue was superb!! I bawled my eyes out on this ep.

I might be saying this because Tohru's my favorite but this is one of the best ep for me with ep 9 and ep 7.

ALSO. THE SOHMAS ARE TOO PRECIOUS. THEY ARE A TREASURE. I'M SO EXCITED TO SEE MORE OF THEIR FAMILY BONDING. THEY DESERVE IT.

The next ep features Kazuma and Tohru I think alongside Kagura's ep.

Edit: I noticed I didn't mentioned Kyo and Yuki but I love their bit in this ep. Kyo acknowledging that Yuki is protecting Tohru and Yuki acknowleding Kyo's sulking coz of his inability. (They are observant of each other). In addition, I love how Yuki teased him in the end (It's quite comforting tbh).

Since people liked my Teruteru posts, I’m going to be listing every character in V1 and V2 and saying if they are overrated or underrated and why. WILL CONTAIN SPOILERS FOR BOTH GAMES/ANIME

V1:

Junko: overrated, obviously. She’s very pretty but other then that? Not the best lmao?? Abused and manipulated Mikan and Mukuro

Makoto: Boring, was carried through the whole game by kirigiri. Not even all that funny in the anime, he’s just a boring kid.

Togami: A spoiled rich boy that messed with poor Chihiro’s body. He’s cute but a total asshole and a twink (derogatory). He should have been a victim.

Toko: I love her personality and her design is very pretty, but the way they are further demonizing DID with her character is horrible and I do not stan. 

Leon: Underrated boy, everyone gives him a lot of shit for being the first murderer. He’s cute, he’s got a funky lil shirt (that he shares with nagito?) and hes got some scottish roots like me. A good boi (minus the fact he killed someone.) 

Maizono: Overrated, shes not even all that pretty. The REAL musical ultimate was Ibuki and you can’t convince me otherwise. 

Hifumi: He never did anything *wrong* in v1, but he gives off this horrible vibe. Probably has a body pillow of Kisa from Fruits Basket or smth gross like that. 

Kiyotaka: In the fandom, his personality has been muddled down to “old gay man” but lets be real, if this dude wasnt in a killing game, he’d be a c*p (o)

Aoi: Her personality is literally eating and big boobs and closed lesbian. Not a fleshed out character and honestly, Sakura should have survived, not her. 

Mondo: You’ve heard of mommy and daddy issues, now get ready for “I accidently killed my big brother when he gave me his biker gang when I was literally 15 years old and now I lay awake for nights thinking about and on top of that I might be gay and oh my god I just got turned into butter.” issues

Yasuhiro: 100% underrated. Is there colorism in the fact he’s one of the only dark skinned characters in this series and his personality is literally “spout off random bullshit and have the whole fandom think i’m a druggie?” yeah, but if i remember correctly, in the anime, he’s actually really smart or something? (in the second anime, not the first.) And he was really kind when he was taking care of Kiyotaka when Mondo died. He’s a good character, minus the obvious racial stereotypes

Sakura: Deserved to live. She was a great friend to Aoi and sacrificed herself so her friend could keep going. She’s a good gorl. 

Chihiro: Prefacing this with I’m a Chihiro Kinnie: overrated and everyone in the fandom sexualizes him. Or headcanons him as mtf or nonbinary. It literally explains why he dresses as a girl (he was v v weak and sickly so if he convinced everyone he was a girl, they wouldnt pick on him for being a weak boy). Headcanon what you want, but dont come at me with the “hE wAnTs To Be A GiRl” cause youre literally erasing his entired character and the REASON mondo was able to kill him. 

Celestia: She’s so creepy and mean? and not even in a cool way I just don’t like her. If Junko wasnt the mastermind behind this game, it totally would have been celestia. Manipulated Hifumi, framed Yasuhiro, and killed Hifumi and Kiyotaka. Not a fan with the double kill tbh

Kirigiri: I personally don’t like her cause she has no personality beyond “gotta solve this mystery like im fuckin scooby doo” and “I can’t believe its daddy issues!”

Mukuro: literally wants to fuck her sister. No. 

V2: (I’m not finished with it yet, just finished the Mikan trial) 

Teruteru: underrated and over villainized. he’s literally a horny teenager and was just trying to a) protect everyone from nagito cause he thought twogami was nagito and b) just wanted his mom. 

Nagito: literally insane lol. If I hear him say anything else about hope, I’m going to scream. 

Nekomaru: No personality minus “I need to take a shit”

Akane: (see Aoi) they are literally the same character

Ibuki: overrated, but I can see why. She was really nice and cool. (I also have an Ibuki interject in my system so I can’t really bad mouth her.)

Mikan: Annoying at most. If Junko didnt hurt her, she probably wouldnt have killed anyone. 

Chiaki: I get.... v bad vibes from her, but I also kin her so its an odd toss up

Hajime: Whole personality is “fuck off nagito” and “orange juice in a wine glass” 

Mahiru: No my favorite, I didnt really like her, but she was really nice to Hiyoko so she’s okay in my book. 

Hiyoko: Underrated because no one takes into consideration: she is litearlly like 16 or 17, shes under 5 feet tall, she’s never gone through a killing game before, shes probably terrified. Thats why she’s mean. And she’s not even mean to everyone, just to Mikan really (who didnt deserve if but she was a really easy target)

Fuyuhiko: boss baby, tiny boy, underrated. He lost his sister and his best friend, let him be. 

Peko: Eh?? if she didnt have a literal slave mentality she’d be cool (and i dont think it was hiko’s fault, cause there are many times where he was just trying to treat peko like a friend and she was in full human shield mode.) 

Gundham: nice design, but the theatrics are getting on my nerves. Whats with the hamsters? I like his scarf though

Kazuichi: literally a giant perv, but i like his design and I have a small soft spot for pervy characters. If he would have left Sonia alone, he would have been an okay character. 

Sonia: overrated, annoying, would fuck ted bundy and run a true crime blog on this gods damn website. Not a good girl and I’m surprised she hasnt killed kazuichi yet.

i am going to use they/them pronouns for ritsu so that its the most neutral lol i know some people prefer he/him, some prefer she/her, and i respect all those preferences for ritsu so ill use they/them as a middle thing lol

I honestly think that ritsu probably doesnt think they have the right to dislike any of the sohmas. Even akito. Ritsu probably feels absolute dread regarding non-zodiaca outside of their parents, but when it comes to the zodiacs, i think ritsu has a pure empathetic soul that could never just not get along with someone. but let’s go thru the zodiacs (as i think their dynamics is what you wanted to hear about right? lol)

the main 4 (yes, tohru is a sohma in my head): as we have seen- shigure and ritsu have a very brother/sibling relationship. Where shigure is the older brother and ritsu is the trouble making and naive younger sibling that are a bit distant but respect each other. shigure teases the poor monkey and ritsu thinks highly of the man. Its honestly kind of a cute relationship to me even though shigure is such an ass lmaooo as for kyo, i would have loved to see ritsu lean on his shoulder or trample him like their mother did LOL kyo’s reaction would be priceless. And yuki......i feel like yuki associates ritsu with ayame and just ignores ajdjsj but ritsu doesnt seem to mind and still loves him. TOHRU AND RITSU THOUGH 💕💕💕🥺🥺😊😊 the sweetest babies!!!! absolute angels- i think they learn a lot from each other where tohru gains a deeper understanding of the sohmas and ritsu learns its okay to want to live for someone and to want a purpose in life.

Now as for kagura: i absolutely adore kagura and ritsus relationship. Afterall, kagura let ritsu wear her dresses growing up and helped them feel comfortable while figuring out their identity. I wish we would have seen them as adults interacting!! i just know kagura would be like “i just KNOW that guy looked at you wrong, you want me to key his car? stab his tires? take out his engine? what do you want me to do” and ritsu is like “UUUHhhHHHHH PLEASE DONT”

momiji and hatsuharu: i feel like momiji would be really sweet with ritsu.....like “hey ritsu, i like your kimono :-)” and ritsu would instantly cry. Hatsuharu is really respectful and also a bby so hed probably offer some of rins clothes to borrow LOL

hatori and ayame: hatori DEFINITELY knows ritsu probably the best- other than kagura and ayame maybe. hatori is very empathetic and tries to be patient with ritsu and probably does his best to keep ritsu out of akito’s mind. Now, i headcanon that ritsu eventually starts working under ayame and ventures into fashion and clothing design, and ayame would teach them how to gain confidence. I believe ayame would be the only person to never lose his temper with ritsu’s breakdowns. He would just simply override it with his own dramatics but ritsu respects and admires him so much that they’d be like “you’re right cousin ayame........” and Mine would just be like “can you guys not do this around customers PLEASE”

for rin, kisa, and hiro: post-canon rin would be supportive of ritsu and actually hang out with them! imagine tohru dragging rin along to hang out with ritsu and kagura 🥺🥺🥺 I also feel like hiro would talk mad shit to ritsu and when they get older kisa would scold him definitely. BUT remember the fanart of ritsu helping hiro put on his traditional wear? i just KNOW that they get along and ritsu loves and cares for hiro a lot like a brother. but we definitely have haru or kyo who probably smacks him when he’s rude to them LOL. Also imagine kisa braiding ritsu’s hair or doing it to match her’s 🥺

do you think shigure ever got revenge against ren for trying to kill his son & injuring akito? I really dont feel like akito did anything tbh, prob is just too exhausted to deal with that woman but shigure is a whole different character. Actually im pretty upset takaya showed that scene and never explained further what happened later lol, like, when i saw the spoiler i thought she didnt hurt akito but then i saw a better quality and we can see blood :/ it hurts me to think she has a facial scar

I heard that Takaya is going to do an One-shot about Shiki backstory, so I hope we all gonna have answer. There is probably no way that Shigure didn’t react to it. Ren just traumatized his son and injured his wife. We don’t know much about the family situation in the actual furubana time-line, Yuki and Kyo/Tohru live far away of the main house and that's more or less all we know. We saw in the Hajime's small back-story that Ren is still here (and trashing about the curse). So Shigure/Akito haven't exiled her yet sadly.

However, I’m sure Shigure or Akito made sure that Ren would not harms anyone. But maybe Shigure would have been the one on charge of her since his anger is, in opposite of Akito’s, cold and persistant, he could etablish a good plan. Destroying Ren’s life without making a fuss is not a problem for him, he is in top level of manipulation. 

But a war probably happened in the family between Ren’s side and Akito’s side. Plus, I’m sure that Ren have told Shiki that his father have sleep with her or telling all the wrong Akito have done to zodiac, like what she have done to Kisa, Isuzu or Yuki.

Mutsuki and Shiki seems to be very close. So maybe Shigure and Akito sent Shiki to Yuki’s place until Ren was under control, it’s just supposition but in the contrary of Chizuru, Mutsuki know a lot about Shiki.  

I guess the fact that Ren is still in the house remind me the chap. 118, when Akito tried to stab her (oooh irony). The maids screamed at each other, telling that it could have caused the police to be involved. Look like the Sohma is trying to keep all trouble in the house. It’s maybe what happened with Ren affair too. 

Anyway Shiki’s backstory is going to be really interessant, so I hope we can have it soon !! 

Yes, it hurt me too, I hope that the injury was light. Akito have a poor health and we don’t know how bad for her body it may have been and I hope Shiki don’t blame himself for that ;w;
