if I see any of you whitewashing my babies (Theo and Oscar) I am gonna gently remind you that there are better ways to color poc-- aside from color picking that actual sprites/cg.. Or eyeballing it yourselves. I swear it is not that hard to use darker shades for characters! It can be so fun too!! Don't be afraid to even go darker!! Just please do not make them look pale af
And if that doesn't work and you don't listen. I'm blocking your ass. That is all.
#minthetext#titan arum#titan arum vn#i do understand some artists are still learning this#im patient enough go teach you#especially if y'all re beginners#but don't expect the same grace if you're an artist with plenty of experience#peace out

i never noticed your blog title. i am no.2 0109 siblings enjoyer. do you have headcanons for them too? (i am begging, respectfully)
OH MY GOD YIPPIE YIPPIE FINALLY SOMEONE ASKED ME FOR 0109 SIBLINGS HCS.... Ive been waiting for an ask like this for such a long time thank you... AND YAY FELLOW 0109 SIBLINGS ENJOYER worry not i have plenty!!! for both haruka & mikoto and haruka & john
-THEY BOTH LIKE ART!!!! haruka liking art & drawing is a hc of mine that i adore... and mikoto canonically likes art, but feels that he isnt good at it. at first he watches haruka draw and praises him and then one day haruka asks mikoto to draw him something, mikoto is like "oh im not that good of an artist actually..." but then picks up the pen and haruka is MESMERIZED by mikoto's art he's like. Oh my god. Please teach me. You're an amazing artist.... and Mikoto is really surprised because no one ever praised his art like this before. And he already sees Haruka as a great artist so he feels really encouraged to draw again. and they both spend a lot of time drawing together....
-mikoto likes sketching more & is great at it, but haruka likes painting more & is great at it, so sometimes mikoto will sketch something and haruka colors it, and the other way around if they wanna experiment. and they give each other tips (Haruka is very shy to give mikoto tips but mikoto is like " I'd love to hear your opinion on my art, i want to paint more like you!!! youre so good at it!!!" and haruka is just like :D !!!
-remember from the 0105 platonic hc post that, in my post milgram AU, shidou drives haruka home from school. If Haruka doesn't walk with the other 3 prisoners who are in school, Mikoto takes him on his bicycle and drives him to school in the morning before cycling to work!!! i like to imagine sometimes fuuta has morning lectures so he joins them (fuuta is tiny enough that there won't be a space problem i Think but they'll still be kinda squished on each other ahhaha) and the bicycle ride is disastrous because mikoto and fuuta are bickering while haruka is holding onto mikoto for dear life LMAO
-speaking of cycling since mikoto likes to cycle. he teaches haruka!!! haruka is always very scared if he'll fall but mikoto is patient with him, reassures him that the safety gear is there for a reason (Mikoto has no plans of letting haruka get hurt, he always makes sure haruka is wearing safety gear when he's a total beginner) and is encouraging haruka when he makes even the smallest progression!!! like haruka could cycle for 3 seconds and mikoto is like "LET'S GOOOO YOU DID IT IM SO PROUD OF YOU" and goes to high five haruka and hug him
-sometimes the evening or night time makes haruka feel down & scared or have a lot of intrusive thoughts or nightmares, it's been a thing since he was in the real world but its more frequent and harsh in milgram so he goes to mikoto's room with his plush and just lies down next to him while mikoto is doing whatever he's doing. often when haruka does this he will end up falling asleep next to mikoto in his bed and mikoto tucks him in and sleeps next to him and holds haruka if he wants to be held. mikoto really feels protective over haruka especially when he's resting, like anyone could be entering the room and mikotos like " be quiet... haruka is sleeping!" :'3
-speaking of harukas bunny plush, he really REALLY doesnt like anyone touching it without permission (the autistic urge to gatekeep the comfort item) and mikoto understands when he asks haruka if he can touch his plush and haruka just., *shakes head nervously* but soon haruka allows him to and mikoto is delighted that haruka trusts him enough to let him interact with his comfort item!!!!
-haruka really likes mikoto's hair and one day he's like "mikoto-san, I want to dye (well... bleach) my hair too someday" and mikoto gets really excited and they talk about what colors they could dye haruka's hair when they get out of milgram :D
-haruka always "heard" of john but he actually sees john for the first time after mikoto's guilty verdict in t2, and rightfully so hes very scared of him, but when he tries to approach mikoto on his birthday in 2022 (haruka was the first and only person to approach mikoto without bad intent ever since he got the guilty verdict and i cannot stop thinking abt that), he asks mikoto about what's been happening to try and understand and mikoto just. he tries his best to be strong but haruka can see that mikoto himself has no idea what's going on and is close to breaking down. haruka just hugs him gently, gently enough so mikoto can refuse the hug if he wants, but mikoto doesnt. haruka does his best to comfort mikoto from his guilty verdict, even though he doesnt really understand. all he knows is that his friend is a good person and he wants to comfort and understand him the best he can. and then at one point haruka approaches mikoto to try and talk to him and john is fronting!!!
-so this is like harukas first time actually interacting with john. hes like Oh no. i came to talk to my friend but now hes in the Scary state (he doesnt know yet what DID is) what do i do im scared. but he actually tries totalk to john. and john is surprised that haruka, although scared of him, actually tries to talk to him and understand him. john tries to calm himself to not scare haruka further and they have a long talk, mainly haruka trying to understand john. they get closer after this
-at one point john just asks. hey why are you still trying to approach me. I'm scaring everyone off and ruining your friend's life you should be scared of me. you should be viewing me like a monster. but haruka out of everyone understands what it feels like, being viewed as a monster for a mental condition. its why he's in milgram after all. and he realizes just how similar him and john are and hes like "..uh uuh. nobody should be viewed as evil for being mentally distressed right?" and him and john both start to see some positives in themselves, haruka because "hey if my friend is a good person even though he gets scary (when john fronts) maybe i can be a good person too." and john for a similar reason because "hey if this kid here has allegedly committed a murder too but can still be so nice (probably the only nice person to john) maybe i can still have a chance to Not ruin mikoto's life"
-ohmy gosh im so sorry I spoke too much righ t aaaa.... so sorry... but john feels protective of both mikoto and haruka after this. 0109 siblings are the realest ever and i have more abt haruka and john but ill stop here hehe I hope you like these!!!
#milgram#milgram headcanons#haruka sakurai#sakurai haruka#mikoto kayano#kayano mikoto#john kayano#orekoto#john milgram#how do tag john#milgram project#I HAVE BEEN HAVING THE BIGGEST 0109 SIBLINGS BRAINROT. theres so much 0109 siblings art in my ibispaint gallery waiting to be posted#soon enough..#last final exam is in4 days (oh no) i will soon be free from this semeste.r.....!!!! and i will feed the 0109 siblings nation (we are 3 ppl#i want them to interact in t3 (there is basically zero chance of it happening i think but I WANT IT AAAAAAAAAAAAA)

The anal hook spreader bar art, oh my GOD 🥵 I know it’s probably HTP, but he’s so gorgeous (im feeling Saint Sebastian vibes) I’m seeing him through Steve’s eyes too - he loves stringing his guy up, making him sweat, making him cry, making him push his body to its limits not because he’s a science experiment, but because he wants to prove himself to Steve. To be good for him.
related to this
Ohhh, if you want St. Sebastian vibes for Bucky... we got that:
WIP of Sebastian as Bucky as St. Sebastian
St. Sebastian style Bucky color meme
Art history dad joke
Fan artists really do be keeping us 🤌🏻fed🤌🏻
Thoughts, thoughts, thoughts about Steve stringing Bucky up, though--
Steve has never felt so starved in his entire fucking life. There's what feels like the precursor to a deep, dangerous growl curling in the very center of his gut. It's tight. Poised to snap and let the sound out of his mouth. His mouth... God, it's watering.
How could it not?
He doesn't mean to be overly self-congratulatory, but how could his mouth not water at the obscene feast he managed to lay out in front of himself.
Bucky.
Bucky is strung up in the most lovely, erotic way. Using the exposed wooden beams in their ceiling, his arms are extended toward the sky--hands shoulder-width apart--and ensnared in coils of rope. Both decorative and functional. His legs are spread, too, although Steve kicked them apart a little wider than his shoulders. He wanted him exposed. Vulnerable. Ripe for the taking.
And, oh boy, Steve has taken.
Along with his spread arms and legs, Bucky's collared. But it's more than that, too.
God.
It's so much more than that.
Steve licks his lips, then slides his slick bottom lip between his teeth, sinking into it until he feels a sharp, sparkling hit of pain. Fuck. He's been collared and he's been fucked open enough to push in an impressive anal hook. Steve considered attaching the end of fat, unforgiving hook to his collar with another length of rope just because Bucky is so prone to prettily throwing his head back or tanking it forward, chin to chest, when he's overwhelmed with pleasure--Steve knows the sounds of shock to come out of him when he accidentally tugs on the hook all on his own would be absolutely pornographic. But...
He opted not to do that. Not today.
Instead, he's used a long piece of rope to secure the hook tugging at his insides deliciously--so much pressure and so much thickness to clench down on, all the way until his toes curl--to the exposed beam in the ceiling, too. There's just enough slack in the rope for him to squirm and feel the hook push and pull and carve into his sensitive insides but there's not enough slack for him to squirm away from an inescapable pressure. Pressure that is right against his prostate.
It's so good that Bucky's jaw has dropped, and he can't seem to close it. His pink lips are swollen and wet. He's drooling. He's beautiful. Fuck drunk and gorgeous. Obscene. A goddamn fucking picture with his eyelashes fluttering, his eyes never opening and instead shutting tighter as Steve has his way with him.
Steve may be starving, but he's patient, too. He can hold off. He has self-control. He could wait for years to devour Bucky when he has such a golden opportunity to play with him first.
Play. with. him.
Steve's never really seen the point of those feather tipped instruments that always seem to come in "bondage for beginners" sets. Not until now. At least Bucky doesn't need one of those cheap blindfolds that can be found in the aforementioned sets--he's squeezing his eyes shut, overwhelmed. Besides, even if he was watching, watching wouldn't stop him from twitching and jerking and shrieking whenever Steve deviously draaaaags the feather-tipped rod against his skin. He's always been so fucking ticklish. It's coming in handy now.
Bucky started out laughing, and Steve couldn't stop grinning. Wolfish. Maniacal. Whatever you want to call it. His lips pulled back, and his expression was all teeth--it still is now. Sharp and dangerous and reveling in how Bucky dances for him. Bucky isn't laughing anymore. Gasping and begging for it to stop. Tickled pink.
Bucky is moaning, he's mewling, he's crying out, he's gasping, he's begging sincerely.
He can't go anywhere. No. He can't get far. All he can do is squirm and wriggle and twitch in place. He can rise onto his tiptoes with a howl or relax back onto his heels with a gutted groan. His hips can come forward with a sharp jerk, or they can roll back choppily, but either way, he ends up mewling. The anal hook follows him wherever he goes. The rope attaching the hook to the ceiling doesn't change, it tightens or slackens, it puts more or less pressure to his sweet spot. But it doesn't go away. It is relentless.
Steve is relentless. His face hurts from grinning. His throat is raw from cooing at his sweet little sub, dancing for him, singing for him. Each tickle from the feather, or from his fingers, seems to be new to Bucky. He cries out all over again. He shakes. He brings torture upon himself, writhing on the hook stringing him up to the ceiling; which means that Steve can't help but tease him more. More tickling. More touching. Asking Bucky if he thinks he deserves to cum--has he put on enough of a show? Has he been good enough? Should Steve reward him?
Bucky just sobs. His chest heaves, ribs expanding, abs clenching, the muscles in his arms and shoulders twitching, tugging. He can't answer.
Steve asks again, dragging the feathers down his side mercilessly. All the way from his armpit to his hip. He's careful not to drag the feathers over his cock, as tempting as the red, stiff length is. He doesn't want to ruin his new toy with the overflowing arousal from his favorite toy--his submissive. Poor Bucky has been leaking for so long. All the pressure against his prostate! It's practically milking him. Leaving him dripping. He's all wet! Sweat and pre-cum. Glistening.
Bucky screams behind gritted teeth.
Music to Steve's ears.
God.
He's everything.
Steve both needs to make him cum right then and he needs to drag this out and out and out until Bucky can't stand anymore, legs shaking and too weak to hold him up. When Bucky collapses, trusting all his weight to his arms, Steve would take him down. He'd lay him out on the floor. Right here. And he would tug and tug and tug at his hook until Bucky couldn't help but cum. The pressure fucking it right out of him.
Steve's impatience wins... today.
He steps in close, biting at Bucky's throat, his head is tipped back fully, stuck in rapture, burning up, and--
Steve soothes one hand down from his peaked, hard nipple all the way to his cock. Just like that. Petting him. Stroking him.
Bucky half chokes, half whines. Pure, molten desperation.
Steve jerks Bucky off, hard and fast, and Steve feasts--he delights in the way he jerks and convulses and shakes. With a particularly hard bite, he feels the wild tattoo of Bucky's pulse on his lips and answers it with a brutal growl as Bucky finally crumbles.
He orgasms.
Hard.
Shit.
He silently screams. Lips gaping and pink. His knees give completely. Boneless. Steve has to hold him up with an arm bruisingly tight around his waist, teeth still at his throat--the mark will be high and obvious. A claim. Steve is going to get off on that alone, almost as hard as he's about to get off from this whole scene. But what can he say? He's a possessive, sadistic bastard. And Bucky loves him for it.
So, yeah, anal hooks.

When you first started anything art wise were you ever happy with how it looked? Especially if it had been a few years since you last did any art? Im having trouble getting past that block since i was better at drawing in highschool
hi and thank you for your question
i think the answer to this could vary greatly depending on who you ask. my relationship with art is somewhat strange. i never like how anything looks. never. but for me its not the point. i have been drawing for the majority of my life but with many looongs breaks and i never really cared whether or not i was making anything good. art is one of the few things that i actively like doing so my priority has always been enjoyment
now art progress is never linear. especially if you take a long break like this. you will obviously feel rusty and unable to see your own progress. its very common to be dissatisfied with yourself and your skills but as a beginner artist its very important to be kind to yourself. art should not hinder you. its a way for you to express feeling and ideas. so please try to be patient with yourself and give yourself time to grow naturally

Hello, just wanna start this off by saying that I love your art. I've decided to ask my favourite artists for art tips as I wanna get into it, but no matter what I do it never looks right. So, any tips?
WARNING YOU JUST OPENED THE FLOOD GATES GET READY FOR A LONG ASS POST
WOOOOO BOY, first off huge fucking compliment i honestly didn't think i was anyone's favorite artist (despite what my friends say) and i find it super cool of you to try and draw
Anddd nowww the cowards will run out as soon as you read more
okay so first things first, disclaimer! I AM NO PROFESSIONAL BY ANY STANDARDS, IM JUST SUPER INTERESTED IN ART, DO NOT TAKE MY WORDS AS GOSPEL AND YOU DO NOT NEED TO TAKE MY WORDS OF ADVICE (you didnt say i was but just to cover my ass)
I am still learning as an artist so this will just be advice that helped me, lets just hope i can remember what got me here, and this will be just me jotting down my thoughts as they come so maybe im not the best person to come to about this (i may repeat what other people say in terms of art so bare with me)
SO WITHOUT ANYMORE DISCLAIMER! YOU WANT ART TIPS FROM ME? WELL GET READY FOR SOME BULLSHIT FROM A PERSON WHO'S BEEN SO ARTSY FARTSY IN THEIR ENTIRE LIFE AND HAS NO IDEA WHAT THEY'RE TALKING ABOUT, WELL COME INTO THE SHIT TRAIN!!
Now i dont know if you are an intermediate artist, beginner, need help in specific areas or whatever the hell else but! here's the three main points i always wanted to scream at artists who are just starting out!
Your art WILL look like shit in the beginning
References and inspiration are YOUR FRIEND
DONT be afraid to trace
(I know I know this feels like regurgitated and it probably is BUT HEY STICK WITH ME)
does your art looks fucking trash? THATS GOOD!! KEEP DRAWING!! My art looked fucking ugly when i started and some might say (me) it still does, but thats okay!! You learn more and more from just drawing without any tips, art is a pure skill that builds up, do not be discouraged!! The point of art isn't to be the greatest in the world, it's to be at peace with what you create so if your art looks good to you and you are in a happy place in your progress, you are basically successful in my eyes at least (this doesn't mean to quit learning obviously but it'll come in time, be patient, do not push yourself! that's how you stop loving art and we don't want that happening!)
Ever find yourself asking "man why the fuck does (include art shit here) not look accurate??" well here's a tip, USE REFERENCES! DO NOT BE LIKE ME WHERE YOU JUST WING IT OR ELSE YOU'LL BE CRYING OVER YOUR DRAWING TABLET LIKE I DID AT SOME POINT!! Pay attention to the shapes of the reference, break it down and draw over it if you need to, shapes are very important in art and you need to be able to draw whatever you want in the most basic forms (im no good example of this, i really need to practice more aughhh). As well as references, inspiration is KEY!!! Everything is inspired off each other, nothing is original, so steal from your favorite artists!! Look at their speedpaints, look at how they use colors, analyze how they draw anatomy in their style, see how they use shapes, etc etc, learn from who you consider are the "greats of their times"!! USE ALL THE INSPIRATION YOU HAVE AT YOUR FINGERTIPS!!LITERALLY COPY THEM IF YOU WANT EVEN IF YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY THEY DID THAT, YOU'LL LEARN WITH TIME!! just whatever you do, don't compare yourself so heavily against other artists, i know its hard, i do it myself even! If there is an artist who has a style you so so want, don't crumble if you can't draw in their style perfectly, you'll never win against someone in their art style. I suggest taking inspiration from multiple artists and mashing them together until it looks good in your eyes!!
That actually leads me to my next point! TRACING IS OKAY!! Now obviously I do not mean directly tracing over like some lines, showing it off/posting it and calling it completely original. I mean tracing over the references i mentioned before, or like what i said before, i believe you should actually trace from your favs! (don't call it original like i said before), tracing can help build memory on how to draw certain things like how i took a photo of my hands before, traced them, and then put it to the side to redraw it, making me understand futher how hands work! OR like how i traced a piece of art that i liked to understand how the artist drew their bodies, tracing is used by total professionals in the industry so do not be afraid!! You have total permission from me to trace my art and learn how to draw my wack ass bodies
and for a little extra bit, little bit of a hot take (I'm actually not sure how much of a hot take this is), i don't think you HAVE to learn the fundamentals to get into art. NOW BEFORE YOU RUN OFF SCREAMING AND SHITTING, IM NOT SAYING YOU DON'T NEED THE FUNDAMENTALS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!! I'm just saying that if you want to get into art as a complete hobbyist and just want to draw to yknow draw and be happy, you should just go for it! Again don't make art something you hate! I completely encourage learning the fundamentals but don't ever feel like you're failing just because you don't, get into it when you have the time! be patient with yourself, this goes for any hobby/skill but just sink some time into it, i promise you will get further in you hobby than if you push and rush yourself into complete burn out
OH AND HERES MY ULTIMATE TIP! THERE IS NO WRONG WAY TO DO ART!!
Uhhh i think that's everything? Im not exactly sure how comprehensible this is or how the spelling is since i am not beta reading this! But apologies if this wasn't what you were looking for! (if anybody even read this far) and i hope that if you asked your other favorite artists they answered with anything better than whatever this is! I wish you alot of luck in your art journey and thank you for giving me an excuse to talk about art! OH AND REMEMBER TO TAKE BREAKS
#long text post#Tecs going wild#you’re not cowards for not wanting to read the whole thing don’t worry lmao#this was meant to be like#some small reply with my small tips on art but i didn't think itd be paragraphs long#uhhhh whoops my badddd#i literally typed this and ideas flowed in my head so if its all over the place thats another whoopsie#like nobody will care about this#I’m so tired I spent like two hours on this straight since I got so excited#Anddd I’m now gonna post this since it’s like so late and I’m too tired to be worrying if this doesn’t answer the question or if I rambled#tecoask

thank you for the advice on pins ! i am in the process of researching how to set up my shop and i have a couple more questions if you don't mind- at what stage did you feel it was time to open your shop, follower-wise? did it take a long time to become profitable ? i saw you go through a manufacturer for your prints, is it because making them is too expensive? i see you don't make stickers, is there a reason? is a laser cutting machine worth it when debuting ? or superfluous? what did you use to design your website (it's very pretty btw)? do you have advice on getting people interested in checking it out?
how does one deal with sales being down, mentally, and how to be patient in the beginning?
does managing orders require a lot of organization? is a label maker worth the time it saves? in general, do you recomment buying your own machines (printer, or button maker) or stick with manufacturers? also, do you have advice on reconcialiting it with anticapitalism because im feeling conflicted about outsourcing labor and adding products to this world... is setting up shopify very hard ? are taxes a hassle ? sorry if it's a lot, i have trouble wrapping my head around every step i'll have to do and want to avoid beginner mistakes if i can. if you have any other advice and traps to avoid i'd be very grateful
dude this is SO many questions.
the short answer is: everything is hard and takes work.
there is no “right” time to start a shop or start selling stuff. you just kind of do it and hope. i opened mine in college (around 2012 or 2013) because i had already made some merch for a local convention and i wanted to sell the leftovers. my store didn’t become viable as a full time job until around 2017—it was a means to subsidize the income i had from working as a freelance artist.
also i never went into debt for the store so there was never a moment when my store “became profitable.” unless you’re willing to go into debt for this (not something i’d recommend), it’s a slow slog to get to a point where you can afford to sell items with a higher price point at a high enough volume that it is viable as a full career. inventory costs money and the more profitable items cost more money. it takes a lot of time and work and momentum to make this your whole job.
buying your own equipment is only worth it if you plan to use that equipment for multiple years to get a good return on investment.
however a label printer is almost always worth it, but i wouldn’t buy one until you’re getting at least 20 orders a month.
low price point items like buttons and stickers can be good to start out (i used to sell both) but at a certain point, unless you’re selling a massive amount of them there is a limit to how profitable a $3 item can be.
managing a store takes an amount of work/organization that is proportional to the number of products you have/sell. i will say i was an absolute disaster at this when i handled everything myself, which is why the store only became viable as a full time job once devin joined me.
i use squarespace for my portfolio site and shopify for the store. they’re relatively hassle free.
if you’re making most of your income from store or freelance work, find a local CPA to help you do taxes. also keep a running spreadsheet for all your expenses and income. separate your expenses into groups based on the different types of deductions (i.e. office equipment, travel, etc.) and update that spreadsheet, at minimum, once a month. then taxes are easy.
as far as anticapitalist mindset goes… do your due diligence when it comes to sussing out the manufacturers/companies you work with and try to create thoughtfully.
anyway next time you ask for advice please just pick like 3 questions at a time. this was… a lot.

i feel like im very close to hitting a new level in my art. i feel like ive been inching inching inching towards it for much of this year. it's tantalizingly close, but not quite within reach. is this gradual pace natural? yes. is it frustrating? also yes. i don't know what the step to passing this threshold is, but i would really like to get to it soon.
#in actuality i expect there won't be a clear moment of realization or 'level up' or whatever#but i still wish it would happen that way that i could perceive and point to#just keep drawing just keep studying just keep experimenting just keep going#this time next year i hope i can look back and point out my progress with satisfaction#rambling#yes im impatient but also im not. my art journey has always been a plod a long tired march i rarely experience leaps and bounds#i know it's slow but that doesn't stop me from wishing it could speed up now and again#if you're a beginner/inexperienced artist of any age and you're reading these tags- breathe be patient be aware of your own pace#your art journey is yours to go at your own pace and hopefully you can treasure or at least appreciate the time and effort you put into it

Hello! Do you have any advice on how to get followers for an art blog? I’m just a beginner and it is really disheartening to have no feedback on my work :(
Anything helps! :)
Hello ! your question is a difficult one for me aaa;;, but i'll do my best !
i remembered i replied to an ask a bit similar to yours some years ago actually, maybe it can be helpful? (copy/paste bc link doesn't work aaa) :
" Anonyme said: "whats your advice to beginner artists wishing to get a bit more exposure"
im not sure to be the best person to ask, i see exposure like some kind of accident really. like, you make a drawing that may suddenly fly far away and then lots of people can see it and among them some will maybe enjoy looking it as well, etc etc! but ofc, and you probably know it, if you make fanarts, your works have higher chance to visit lots of blogs, because they are in the tags, and the person seeing your works is also already invested in the original manga/book/game/…, so it’s always super nice to see fanarts of it! That being said, it wouldn’t be interesting to draw things just bc you know they are popular or something. Draw for yourself. If you’d like to draw a fanart of this or that, then do it and enjoy it ! and if you don’t want to, do not force yourself.
tbh, i think if i have an advice for beginner artists, it would be to continue to draw, simply. exposure will come with time. There is the undeniable luck factor, and there is also the fact that, with your drawings becoming better and better, more people will come see them and share them. Make it easy for people to find your works with relevant tags on platforms you like, and either you draw only original / fanarts / …, you’ll definitely reach people who will enjoy your works. Be patient, be happy with what you draw, and work hard. if you need advices or constructive criticisms about your drawings etc, don’t hesitate to ask ! everyone is learning and every artists had to begin at some point. and yeah, i’d say that, if you’re beginner, don’t rush and think that what matters when you share your art online is the number of this or that etc. don’t mix up your works’ popularity with the value you grant them yourself. Be proud and fairly, kindly, critical about what you draw. focus on getting better, and have fun!
I don’t know if my reply is answering your question, it’s not an easy subject and yeah that’s just how i see things for now. i hope you still find some useful things in this ! and if you dont mind me talking a lot like this and still have questions, i can try answering them as well
i wish you the best on your art journey! " hehe sorry for the novel omg,, also about followers, and maybe it's annoying to read this but i need to say it as it is important : numbers don't matter much ! you can have millions of people following you and still get no feedbacks; while having 2, or 3 people following you, who interact often ! and those are the people that makes posting so much more fun and make it an even more happiest place for you ! there are always artists and art enjoyers close to your tastes and 'art-worlds' (sorry im not good with explaining;;), if they don't find you, don't hesitate to look for them! we're all the same, sharing our lil posts! also, the most important i'd say is, remember that your first public is yourself !! Draw what interests you, what makes you happy. The people liking the same things as you will come with time ! you're in no rush, and art is a never-ending journey! i hope you could find some helpful things in all this ?;; this is just what i think for now, i'm no expert, and i have difficulties explaining my thoughts also;; And don't forget that making an art blog is firstly for you, and be proud of yourself for having the courage to share your creations ! i know how stressful it can be (i still have stomach cramps everytime i post, im not exaggerating ToT) ! be happy of this space you created ! and i wish to you as well the best in your art journey <3 <3 !! have fun, enjoy what you draw today, look forward to what you will draw tomorrow!! you got this!

a beginner's guide to astrology, from a beginne
in today’s post you will learn about:
- your natal chart
- planets
- the signs archetypes
a natal chart is a screenshot of the sky when you're born. each planet will be in a different position and the combination of each planet and where it is will give off an energy that will be "stamped" to you. so, planets. the planets we use in astrology are all of those in the solar system, including the sun, the moon and pluto. each planet represents something different and have many interpretations but here's a quick summary:
the sun is the center of all. it's your ego and you in your purest self
the moon is your emotions and your heart
mercury: is how you communicate, how you learn, teach, and express yourself
venus is how you love and how you receive love
mars is anger, fury and passion
jupiter is your luck and fortune. it is also heavily associated with growth and expansion
saturn is your limits (think about the rings and how they can symbol a restriction). it's also how you discipline yourself and how you deal with responsibilities
uranus is everything unusual. your uniqueness and rebellion.
naptune is your imagination and dreams
pluto symbolizes rebirth and transformation. spiritually, it is also associated with death and the unknown.
finally, your rising sign is the point exactly above you when you were born. in your chart, it represents your appearance. it's like the mask you put on. when someone first meets you, they might think your sun sign is your rising but as they get to know you they will see your sun sign be more relevant.
there are some other aspects of the chart but i think those are the most important because now that you know what each planet means, you can google the sign that is on each planet and relate the characteristics of each sign to each planet. if you want to, you can send me your chart and i can explain it to you the best i can (to know your chart you'll need to know your exact birth time. this is the website that i use to do them https://www.astro.com/ )
as you might already know, each sign is connected with stereotypes. please please pleaaase ignore them!! they are the stupidest things ever and will only confuse you. one thing you should pay attention to are each signs archetypes. archetypes are neutral characteristics of each sign. they are also ancient and go back to ancient greese. here are each signs archetypes:
aries: they are warriors, knights and leaders. bold, daring, protective, corageous
taurus: they are earth lovers. persistent, determined, strong, comfort oriented, patient
gemini: they are jesters, acrobats. intelligent, funny, communicative, entertaining, poetic, tricky
cancer: they are mothers, guardians, nurturers. protective, supportive, intuitive, sensitive, creative.
leo: they are performers, heroes. radiant, confident, joyful, charismatic, expressive.
virgo: they are mentors, teachers. humble, analytical, intelligent, precise, practical, detail-oriented.
libra: they are diplomats, lawmakers (fun fact aoc is a libra). they are charming, sophisticated, persuasive, just.
scorpio: they are detectives, sorcerers. deep, fierce, magnetic, intelligent
sagittarius: they are explorers, philosophers. optimistic, humorous, blunt, restless, philosophical
capricorn: they are the fathers, rulers and advisors. structured, organized, traditional, sarcastic, efficient
aquarius: they are scientists and creators. unique, intellectual, intuitive, cosmic, rebellious (think galileo!), independent.
pisces: they are mystics and artists. dreamy, sensitive, emotional, poetic, cryptic, oceanic
i'll tell you a bit about my birth chart: i have a scorpio sun. scorpios are water signs and their ruling planets are mars and pluto. scorpios are highly emotional and stereotypically very secretive i have aquarius rising. i usually look like the odd one out. i stand out easily because i have very varied style. one day i look like a punk from the 80s and the next i look like a hippie from the 70s. my moon is in aries and its the thing i like the least from my chart lol. my emotions are always at their peak and im constantly on edge. i have veeery quick mood swings so i love to blame all of that on having a fire sign ruling my emotions.
thank you for reading :) if you have any questions feel free to leave them on my ask box, i’ll respond as soon as i can. if i made any mistakes please let me know so i can fix them. i’d love to hear your opinions on the signs and planets so share them with me if you want to!!
i hope you have a wonderfull day xx

hi different anon here! but what if spencer had to take a mandatory arts class of some kind for his degree (i don’t know how caltech or phd courses work but we’re going to ignore that) and he’s getting super frustrated because he’s so good at all of his other academic classes but he just! can’t! figure! out! the arts!!! but then reader is in the same class as him and notices that he’s struggling so they offer to help him out?
it’s kind of a role reversal of the usual spencer-tutors-reader in college (because he’s a genius so it’s an obvious [and very good!] dynamic)
and bonus points if it’s a pottery class and they have a “ghost” moment 🙈🙈 (reader is obv patrick swayze 🤤) but make it any medium you want! or even a music class!! up to you my dear <3
ok for some reason i immedaitely thought of finger painting but. have decided against that
idk how art classes work either but if it’s anything like art was in school then you’re kind of left to you own devices? so let’s go with that. it’s fiction babey!
this was meant to be headcanons/random concepts but turned in a messy blurb so it’s under read more
he loves art and isn’t so bummed out that he has to take the class because - again - he likes it But the issue is he likes Looking at it, Not creating it. he’s got jiggly hands that squirm and twitch without his consent constantly and that doesn’t bode well for drawing fine details and intricate patterns, so he’s hoping because it’s an introductory course it’ll be. maybe more theory than anything else? or at least just basic tools and mediums so he can struggle through with a grimace from the professor
he ends up with /oil/ paints though and he’s looking from the bowl of fruit to his easel to thr OIL PAINTS and derek is there, in spirit, going hahahaha good luck pretty boy! and spencer Could ask to change the type of paint he’s using but he’s awkward and so. grits his teeth and goes. alrighty this is it this is life im using oil paints, something notoriously difficult for a beginner, which is what i am, a beginner, and i am now putting these expensive paints to this expensive easel with my inexperienced hands-
and you’ve been watching him since he stepped in, because he’s pretty, and now you’re grimacing cause Oh Boy he does not know what he’s doing and he’s. he’s breaking the paintbrushes. you can hear the bristles cracking from across the room.
spencer would’ve noticed you if he wasn’t so Humiliated (he, too, easily notices pretty people) so when you creep up behind him and say, “oil paints are difficult, aren’t they?” in this understanding voice that he follows with his head, his first thought is- oh, so to top it all off a piece of art has come to life? this is where we are now?
he does that thing where he forces out a little breath along with a small smile and goes, “ah, yeah. i didn’t want to ask for something else, so,” and weakly lifts the palette in his hand as if to say, it is what it is.
“i could help, if you’d like?”
and he agrees cause he’s eager to learn! and you, a masterful artistic genius, blow him away with not only your knowledge (you’re into the theory kind of stuff too and at one point he jolts himself, realises he was staring at you with his mouth open, and deeeeep down wishes someone would think of him the way he thinks of you when you ramble) but your actual skills too! and you’re a great teacher! patient, understanding, and did he say patient? because he has painted a damn sky at least 15 times and every time he Somehow makes clouds look phallic and you just go hehe :) and he’s like I love u (internally)
several weeks in, when you and spencer have become arty friends, the subject turns to drawing people rather than objects - you tell him getting people /right/ is something you struggle with yet you love doodling your friends and family in your sketchbook. the first body spencer draws (that isn’t a stick man) is done in crayons, which he’s found is the medium that works best for him (only when the crayon is properly wrapped. because the waxy feel of them Freaks him out)
you help him learn about drawing anatomy while he tells you /about/ anatomy, he attempts to sketch a hand and it’s so odd looking he laughs so hard he CRIES and you finally convince him to try charcoal, your personal favourite
it’s messy and gets everywhere (spencer opens his mouth to complain about his expensive grey cardigan but then- the little mark is a physical representation of this memory between you and him, huddled close together as you both draw aimlessly in your sketchbook, and the mark feels more like a blessing) but spencer ends up agreeing that charcoal sketches look the best.
then he sees something he shouldn’t have.
you’re talking about how you sketch your family all the time - there’s several of your roommates and your pets and a sheep u saw this one time - then there’s...someone oddly familiar? that he catches a glimpse of? and before he can think he goes “wait-“ opens that page and it’s him. him, standing too close to an easel with his tongue slightly poking out in concentration and it’s a charcoal sketch of him from last week.
you’re embarrassed. “that’s weird, im sorry-“
“you make me look good” he tells you, smiling sweetly, and you’re convinced it’s just to comfort you but you’re too glad he isn’t filing a restraining order you let it slide
i mean. have you seen his face? how can anyone look at that and not want to start chiselling marble?
then he gets secretive, weird, a little odd and definitely is avoiding you. he paints and draws with his back to you, still talks to you but over his shoulder and can never really look you in the eyes. you think this is it and that the sweetheart you’ve come to see as more than a friend is Done with you, because you’re a CREEP, and then after a weekend of silence on his end this happens:
while you’re getting your stuff ready, he walks up silently and slides a small sketchbook in front of you. you stare at it, wondering what it’s for, and he nods at it and tells you to open it. when you go to, he stops you-
“a-actually, let me give you a page to start on-“
when he manhandles the book his hands brush yours, his already bright red cheeks get redder, and you bite your tongue so you don’t sigh dreamily.
he’s drawn you.
it’s not perfect and kind of not pretty - a lot of harsh edges and weird shading - but you can tell its you. it’s you, drawn by him, probably from memory, and he’s drawn little hearts around your head because he’s the cutest? evidently?
“it’s really bad, but i thought-“ you look directly at him, making him freeze. he’s got a little charcoal just under his eye. unabashedly, you reach up and wipe it away, hand remaining at the side of his face when you’re done. “i thought you deserve to feel how i felt when you drew me.”
“and how did you feel?”
he gulps. “loved.”
all you can do in the Classroom you’re in is beam sickeningly sweet at one another, lost in your own world while there’s a wordless exchange. the rest of the sketchbook is full of half attempts at sketching you - in different positions, with different expressions, some with a full head while others are half a face. some of them are hilarious, but they’re all made with the purest intentions. “i love it.”
and when you share a look then, you don’t need to verbally say what comes next just yet.
(and. yes. the second you see a pottery class is available you drag him and Make him sit between your legs and he’s never blushed so much in his life the teacher asks if he needs air. at one point you think it’d be funny to peck his neck and the shiver it sends through him is so shocking your mould on the wheel is squished between his hands)
#spencer reid x reader#spencer reid x you#ask#long post#this was supposed to be short#and turned into this shit thing#that's why it feels rushed (more rushed than usual)

Illustrator
As you know that illustration is a drawing that you want to explain it or using your imagination and apply it on the piece of paper. There are many ways you can use to draw whether in traditional art or digital art.
For me, I mostly like to use digital art compare to use traditional art because digital art doesn’t have to spend a lot of money to buy tools and supply as long as you had the software and a graphic tablet or even you can use a mouse if you don’t have money to buy the graphic tablet yet.
First, to get started, there are many devices that people can usually use when drawing in digital such as a tablet, laptop and computer. for me, the material that I use was dell laptop, a small wacom intuo tablet and a mouse. As for the painting application I usually draw in paint tool sai but this software aren’t free which you need to buy it. you can used other free application that I would recommended such as krita or medibang.
Mostly for the beginner, it may be hard to get used seen it a bit different compare when drawing on the pieces of paper. The only way to get yourself comfortable on drawing this graphics tablet was that keep on trying and don’t afraid to draw even the style are different than the original one. What fun of painting in the application was that you can do the art as animation by using photoshop software or any other animation programs. As long as you know on the function of the application like the tools, color, setting and the layer panels of the programs.
I also feel that situation when I getting started on digital art and its take me a month to see the improvement from where I started. Even from the beginning I didn’t feel comfortable yet with the new development but that thing never giving up on me because many professional artist are always start with zero first before their reach to the top. For me when it’s come to art, basic is mostly important whenever I draw in any other element or material because to make the art look nicer and perfect. Also, I highly suggest that watching speedpaint on youtube are also make your draw become better because you can learn and take the technique from there. Also, when you draw something it’s better to use your own creativity instead copying from other people work. Like for example; I draw my favorite character but using my idea poses, this way im pretty sure that this is can train someone because they can see their own weakness and try to learn more on their lack. Most importantly, keep on practice and be patients even art can take a lot of time from to get improvement.
Instead of drawing is a part of the hobby many artists also can make their work as a part-time job. I sometimes see that they were doing their business when there are events like marvel or anime festival and some of them doing commission online.

Hello friends! Thank you all for your support with this project. If you’d like to complete the interview, you can do so here: https://goo.gl/forms/lUpTjm0NFeYYzXGy1. The form will remain open indefinitely.
The response to this was more than I could have hoped for, so please be patient as I get to your interview! I aim to post 2-3 per week.
You can enjoy past creator interviews here. (Since I post these over time, sometimes projects are complete by the time I post the interview.)
A special thank you to @fluffymusketeer for making the wonderful section banners!
Mira ( @renriva ) is an artist who has been in the fandom for over four years. On shipping Ereri, Mira writes, “I really love how Levi is older than Eren so Levi can give Eren some advice from his experiences and Eren can make Levi feel his youth again. I love their teacher and student relatioship, their "humanity's strongest and last hope" title”.
Read on for more!
Please link us to your content so we can send you some love!

How long have you been in the fandom for?
For 4 years
Why did you start shipping Ereri?
Ahh where do I start....I started shipping them as a "crack" ship for a while because I didn't ship any ships before EreRi as a serious ship. When I went to the anime and the manga, I started shipping it more than a crack ship. I just love how Eren and Levi have wonderful relationship development. To "idgaf about this brat" to "I would die to let this brat alive" kind of relationship. I really love how Levi is older than Eren so Levi can give Eren some advice from his experiences and Eren can make Levi feel his youth again. I love their teacher and student relatioship, their "humanity's strongest and last hope" title and alot of stuff cause I don't want to make this long XD. Any other word, I love EreRi and it's the first serious ship I ever shipped.
What is the work you're proudest of and why?
Probably this one (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lCYfPZ7xJUc) because I didnt took too long to make a video like this and yet got to finish it because surprisingly im lazy on making animatic stuff. Also proud that I get to finish my OTP's animatic <3
What inspires you to create?
Sad song inspires me to draw angst stuff, happy and bright song inspires me to draw some fluff and songs like "Or Nah" inspires me to draw smuts. (Basically song inspires me to draw >w<)
Is there any work you'd like to share that inspires you?
As in other artist/writer's work? Tbh there is alot of those artists/writers' that inspires me to make my work. They are also sweet and nice people to make me draw whatever that inspires me from their work
What are your strengths as a writer/artist?
I can learn new drawing style that suits ones theme and also can improve my anatomy
What is an area in your work which you're trying to improve on?
Im trying to improve anatomy for a while and also trying to improve my colourings
What advice do you have for other creators?
Do what you do because I love all of your work no matter what. And for the artists, don't give up on whatever you are doing, because I promise that you can do better if you're practice, same goes to the beginner writers <3
Do you have any pets?
Yes and they're all cats
How do you relax?
By hearing songs or draw some sketches
Tell us about your dream day
Currently nothing in mind rn (I dreamt abt EreRi last night after watching too many doujinshi the night b4 so that's new)
What music are you into?
All type of the music general as long the song have good lyrics and rhythm XD
What are some of your favorite tv shows?
I used to like tv shows but not anymore cause I only watch Youtube more nowadays
What are some of your favorite films?
All of Tim Burton's work <3
What are some of your favorite books?
I dont remember since it was a library book that I read last year and I don't want to get it back cause my library membership just expires on that day
