So, now that my finals are officially over, I am going to proceed to have a drink or two or three and rewatch Eclipse. Here’s (soberly) what I remembered from the film prior to starting this account (since starting this account, posts re:Eclipse have reminded me of things I’m not going to include in this introduction): 

1. Bella is basically playing tic-tac-toe with Edward and Jacob and her feelings for them. She can’t make up her mind. When I watched it the first time, my dad was in the living room half paying attention to it and said she was very selfish. 

2. Edward tries to control Bella, but it’s “out of genuine concern for her”.

3. Jacob tries to control Bella, but it’s “out of genuine concern for her”.

4. Both fight for her affection and even though she’s engaged to Edward, she won’t let go of Jacob.

5. When the newborn army shows up, Bella cuts her arm with a rock.

6. There’s awkward tension in the tent.

That’s literally all I remember of the movie while sober (aside from what I have relearned from posts about Eclipse on this blog). My drunken thoughts will be below the break:

Hey guys! I just got back from thjs thing called youth in government, kts amazing. It might sound like some extra credit school thing, but its actually really fun and completly run by kids, except adults there to make sure we didnt take over the hotel!

On the first day, Thursday, we checkedinto the rooms and then went to our seperate groups, where we then took busses to either eat or go to the capital. I ate, then went to the capital. Wither way, at the capital, we took a tour. Its beautiful there, the paintings look 3d and kept tripping me up! Then, we went into one of the rooms where the debates happen. We all took seats, znd one of the RAs asked if anyone had any topics for us to debate on. The girl next to me raised her and, and we started the standard procedure after she whispered to the RA what the topic was. When she was topd to state her topic, she stood and said “Anti-discrimination against lgbt+ people” and a few more words. But i was really happy about that, and that bill was passed unanymously. Which is overly amazing. When she sat down, smiling, i said to her “can i say thank you for bringing up that topic to dabate?” And she smiled and gave me a hug. The second topic is more funny, another girl went up, and her topic was “free femenime products in female and male public restrooms”. The first question for that was what female products were, which made everyone laugh as she told the guys that it was periods and tampons. They all went “oh” except for one who was just nodding liie he knew all this. He did, i had spoken to him and all he friends are females. I also heard them telling someone that he was gay, thats why he could pick them up without them being scared, which made me really happy to know everyone there was that accepting. Either way, all girls and that one guy voted yes on that bill after one girl said “unless you want to be the one cleaning up the blood because some poor person cant afford a pad, then they aremdefinetly a necesity”(some guy said foor was more important and should be free. Im the one that pointed out foor is free if you go to a soup kitchen and other places) The rest of the night was me actually socializing, finding a person that was handing out pins that said his name andnthe fact that he wasnt running for anything, and making donald trump impersojations with my new friends.

The second day, we talked to the group more and i learned that one of the RAs was genderfluid after she helped me with my bill (to let transgender, gendrqueer, nonbianary/agender, and intersex peopls use their pefered bathrooms). She then proceded to ask the whole group if anyone had any prefered pronouns and said how she used she/her they/them, and i told her mine and one other person said they use he/him they/them. That was literally the highlight of my day, and i made my friend jelous by saying that we were asked our pronouns :] That night was freetime again, so thatbwas fun!

The next day we debated our bills. Mine was the last one, but the first bill debated was the one gay boy and his friend. Their bill was to have all kids learn about sexualities and genders in middle school health, and they said it was becauze,mif theremwas sex ed, then there should be a SEXUALITY ed! It wasnt passed, because people said that parents dont want their kids knowing about that, which is stupid because sex ed is more inapropriate then sexjality. Plus they had said multiple times that kids parents and kids themselves could opt themselves out of the class. It was a really good bill idea, too…. The other b8lls went on, and then in the last 5 minutes mine was debated. Mine was to let transgendr, intersex, nonbianary/agender, genderfluid, and anyother gendered people use tneirnprefred bathrooms. I got a lot of questions that went like, “what if the person trys to peak, or rape?” And finapoy the nice genderfluid RA stood up and said “just because someone in the mens room has a vagina or someone in the womens room has a dick doesnt mean they are rapists or perverts. Everyone has common sense.” After that, my debare ended, and all but 3 people voted for my bill. The three people were some boy that argues about every little thing, and his 2 friends. They realized their mistake after seeing the gay boy vote for this, because they were friends with him, and appologized to me for not voting afterwards. It was amazing. That night, i wore my anime t to the freetime, and made about 20 new friends because of it XD I didnt get all their numbers/hangouts/social media accounts, which sucks….

The next day, today, was the final debate. My bill had passed, so mine should have been debated, but we didnt have enough time because there were 3 other groups with us debating. That really pised me off. Good thjng is, the free femenime products thing was brought up again. This time, though, one boy stood up and made an amendment that MALE products were put in both bathrooms (both bathrooms because the person that made the bill had included transgender people that didnt have enough money for bottom surgery which made me happy). This male product thing made everyone laugh, nd one girl tenitivly stood up and asked what they included. He said tools to help them masturbade- im not kidding, those were his exact words! Good thing is, the amendment wasnt passed. The bill was, though, so yay for free feminime products!

…not. I wish this was all real, but its called “youth in government” for a reason. Non of it can actually be passed, akthough one of the leaders (adults) said some lf them should be passed.

Anhways, i had alot of fun, made new friends, and im definetly doing this next year! Till next time!
