anyway gonna use this as an excuse to dump info (my apologies)

And a cartoon being for kids doesn't really matter. Anyone can like cartoons. And theres adult animation on there aswell (Bojack Horseman and Helluva Boss). Things like She-ra and Adventure Time are just kids cartoons That i liked. I'm 17 and they're cartoons which I personally think are amazing. Being able to tell stories of abuse and a lot of symbolism in general. Stories about deeply traumatised individuals and how people are more nuanced than just good and evil. Plus I think they are both amazing LGBT rep on top of that.

Sonic wise, It's a game, comic and movie series I've loved since i was around 4 years old. I literally was so happy when I got the Sonic IDW collection #1 for christmas.

Community is a funny sitcom which I love alongside The IT Crowd. I can understand not liking the humour. Personally I think it's amazing other than Season 4 (which is objectively bad idc who likes it it is just bad) although that's probably because of the change of writer.

The Halo series is a loved collection of Shooter games that changed the fps genre imo and introduced a lot of Multiplayer game modes that I see recreated in newer games such as Splitgate like Oddball. And it's my favourite game franchises (I have spartan funko pops and posters)

Neil Gaiman books are the opposite of shit. They're some of my favourite books full stop and he's an amazing writer. I love the Good omens tv series and I have around 10 of his books that I've read at the front of my bookshelf.

I can understand not liking Wednesday, in fact I really hate the love triangle going on but I love the (whilst it isnt subtle at all) references to Edgar Allen Poe and the story itself. Plus there are things I disagree with like filming the dancing scene whilst Jenna had Covid I think that was a stupid thing for the producers to go ahead with.

Five Nights at Freddy's might fall into your "for three year olds" category i guess? I've played the games since I was 11 and I've grown to love the series. Sometimes I think Matpats theories are a bit ehh? but sometimes he seems good. I think Scott Cawthon is an amazing guy although I find it weird that he donated money to trump despite being supportive of lgbt - a bit contradicting. I love that he supports fan games of his work and is even helping to fund them. I think that's a amazing thing that more companies should strive into doing: supporting fan games instead of banning them for copyright.

The Fantastic Mr Fox poster is specifically the Wes Anderson movie poster, its one of my favourite films and Wes Anderson is my favourite director - ik that probably isn't clear from the image itself so I'm clarifying. I love his cinematography, framing, colour grading. The whole thing is just amazing and as a film student I want to make movies like him one day.

Bojack Horseman is a cartoon that I find funny and also very sad. I love it, its a show that brings me a lot of comfort especially during panic attacks. The View from Halfway Down is my favourite episode and I love all the symbolism in it to a point where I've written down my thoughts and refuse to watch videos on the actual symbolism incase it tells me im wrong but I like the episode and everything about it. The show itself, not every episode is funny but every show has something similar. Not every episode is going to land. The underwater one is just one I find a bit boring in general for instance. It's a show that as a whole is about bettering yourself, drug addiction, and how if you are an awful person you can change. It's about grief and loss and abuse and so many topics. I think that Raphael Bob-Waksberg is a very talented writer.

And Helluva Boss is just a goofy aah show that I love and enjoy from the Voice Actors (Brandon Rogers and Richard Horvitz (i love him bc hes the VA of Caos from Skylanders Academy :D)). I love the story and the animation and the writing and the humour. It is just all round a well put together show and my only criticism is that Millie doesn't have enough of a character and needs more development. So far she's just "the wife who saves her husband from dying" and she needs some more of her own screentime devoted to her character without Moxxies involvement.

Knuckles

GODDD EASILY the sonic character i am The most mentally ill about EASILY. he's so insanely deep and has some lore that is Hugely important to canon so it confuses me SO much how people act like he's comic relief and nothing more. the comic relief part is him getting done dirty by canon but fans did him SO dirty as well by just not caring about him unless its to make a joke about how he's stupid. he's absolutely wasted potential now (even in the comics. he hasnt appeared since 2020 at this point :( ) but im obsessed with everything about when he was allowed to play a major role in sonic lore (which was up until the mid-2000s i would say). its his overwhelming sense of duty and growing up in isolation before realizing he can let himself have friends that gets to me <3 i love that he's gullible and not used to social interaction so people who don't know him tend to overlook his intelligence and compassion but if you make an effort to understand him you'll know what he's really like. i think that's what i really love. literally everything when it comes to knuckles is all about either miscommunication or making an effort to get past miscommunication. also his backstory is literally one of the saddest things on earth i wish it got addressed in recent canon SO bad so im REALLY happy the movie got it right (or as right as they could since it's not a one to one of game canon). also he's the most autistic character in sonic ever no contest

sorry would people get mad at me if i said idk how i feel about the idea of movie sonic and knuckles as brothers. like it already feels like theyre implying it so if they do officially state it in the knuckles series or third movie i wouldnt be surprised or angry and seething and trying to argue theyre not brothers or anything. id just accept it and move on its an alternate universe with different takes on the characters and doesnt affect the games so its whatever. but it does feel kinda odd because like. i love found family as much as the next guy but sonic and knuckles have never been so much as implied to view eachother as brothers in any game or comic or tv show or anything even the stuff that has them written wildly different from their game counterparts so its like . why are we doing this all of a sudden. if you wanna do it in fan content whatever but .. officially...? also i just like sonic and knuckles better as friends/rivals sorry

im so tired of literally everything being a reboot or a remake or revival or sequel or whatever nowadays. i dont always hate that sort of thing i can name some adaptations and reboots and stuff that i like but so many of these things arent even GOOD adaptations and the companies making them either wont make anything else or wont bother to promote any of their original shows or movies and to top it all off so many original and unique things get cancelled while the endless pool of disney live action remakes and shitty adaptations continues to grow. i cannot do this anymore velma was the final straw it looks so bad
