But she's having a LOT of fun, focus more on the dancing than the song, it's a whole-ass show, dress is up to her knees (gasp) more than half the song. Some peeps have to go outisde for fresh air but she's completely oblivious, and honestly doesnt't care, not here to seduce anyone, just very confident in being sexy.

Then she goes back serving drinks like nothing happened.

It was a tie between this and "All That Jazz" from Chicago...

Maru -

Starts on a chair like a burlesque number and honestly? Owning it, owning IT. Maru has CABARET in her soul jumping out when she drinks, someone SIGNS that girl.

She knows she scares you, and you're right to be scared.

Ruffles some hair walking round the tables, in her head she has a sparkling dress trailing behind her, set of musicians backing her up back on stage, and she kisses that mic with a voice no ones even imagined she had.

But once she sobers up? No clue what you're talking about, she doesn't sing, she won't sing. Ugh MARU PLEASE ILY.

Leah -

It's not her pitch, but she goes for it. Townsfolks will wince a bit but who cares she clearly puts her soul in it. So much so they have to ask if she's ok. Are you ok Leah??

I build my own world to escape.

If she's drunk enough and you're close she will tell you that's how she felt with her controlling ex (HEARTBREAKING), otherwise you're just like heh, tortured soul of an artist I suppose.

She even cries at the end SOMEONE HUG THAT WOMAN.

She won't remember it the next day but still appreciate the attention and care she'll get for a few days. You're ok Leah, you're safe in Pelican Town ♥

Penny -

Are you ok there Penny? How many tequila shooters did you have? None?? You didn't even have a drink?! Golly...

Yes she listens to it , yes she would chose it if she was sober, and still does drunk off her socks. She's hyperfixated on the song and you're gonna listen to it.

They all groan when the song starts because WHAT? AGAIN? But you played it all day - you played it in the park - you played it on the beach - you played it... Haley you made us play it at the Flower Dance are you for real. Don't you dare turn it off though. We're leaving the planet and you can't come.

Sweaty, out of breath, hair all over her face, she belts it out to perfection, if it was on Guitar Hero she'd have 100% on all mode. (do people still play Guitar Hero? Is that still a thing?)

Each times, she attempts to death drop, to Emily's dismay. She does get closer. She'll get it. At least she stopped bashing her head first.

I really hope this is in regards to my threat to (jokingly) deactivate bc of @bqstqnbruin

It all started a few weeks ago, when I told Christina about my totally-not-soft desire to have my fav hockey (Quinn Hughes) lay on top of me like a “sexy lil weighted blanket”

keep this in mind, I said it in regards to quintin jerome hughes

so my new catchphrase and consistent maladaptive daydream fantasy is to have my fav hockey (usually Quinn Hughes, with the occasional sprinkle of Nolan Patrick, Matthew Tkachuk, and Tyson Jost) is “sexy lil weighted blanket”

I say this phrase at least three times a week day

tonight, moments before disaster, I innocently told Christina that my brother was laying on top of me and showing me tiktoks. what I meant was that I was laying in my bed, and he was standing, leaning on top pf my upper back perpendicularly 

now, I will transcribe our messages exactly. Christina is bold, I am italics

also my brother just spent twenty minutes laying on top of me to show me his fav tiktoks what

theres so many things I could say rn youre gonna be mad at me so im not gonna say it but

Okay so earlier, 20, minutes after I got out of school. My sister in law comes in shaking saying she thinks my brother Kenneth got in a car crash and is three (mom, me, sister in law) get in my moms car and my mom drives trying to find where he is. He finally answers the phone and said he wasn’t in a crash but kept on hanging up and we told him to come home. We get home and I go outside but my mom and sister in law (Christina) are outside in the van. And apparently my brother came around the corner, tired screeching and he pulled in and hit my moms car three times. My mom was out there trying to find his keys and get him inside. And I’m inside in the living room and he stumbles in and upstairs. He comes back down and gives me a hug and says ily I told him ily back and hugged him. He gave me a big kiss on the check and goes back upstairs. I go to find a screw driver so my mom can undo his car battery. My sister in law ended up leaving because she got his phone and found out he was cheating. I got his keys and put them in the basement and locked the door so he couldn’t get them. Kenneth was up there trying the break his bedroom door because he couldn’t get in since he didn’t have his keys. I grabbed the keys, took the car key off and gave them to my other brother gave the keys to my mom but they couldn’t get it and them to came down. My brother Brendan opened he door. Kenneth was down here and gave me another hug and since we were trying to keep Kenneth in the house I kept hugging him longer to keep him and he was like “nooo Kylie you can’t do this to me” then he tried tickling me to get me away and I got him to sit out the couch. He said he wanted to spend time with all of us and he wanted to go driving. He wanted to to drive (I don’t have my permit) and he started crying a little later but Kenneth ended up going upstairs to change cause he pissed himself while he was driving and he fell asleep. He is still asleep now. He woke up and went to the bathroom coughing then was calling my sister in laws name over and over but she’s not here. She’s moving and that’s why this is happening

I accidentally head butted my brother in the nose and we were telling him to stop and he did and said “yeah I’ll stop. He head butted me” and it was honestly funny. He was holding his lip and stuff

Everything is fine now. No one for physically hurt or anything. My mom is gonna check the cat in the morning. We heard sirens going off after my brother screamed on the phone so we are hoping he didn’t cause a accident

who is your bias: look THIS is where the first issue starts. believe it or not my bias is mashiho 💓 however, since i interpret some of the following questions in a romantic-ish kinda sense i'm gonna go with yedam (no he's not my bias and i refuse to slap the bias wrecker title on him bc it feels wRoNG — let's go with crush ok he's my crush and that sounds nice 😎💞) 

what made you notice him: i usually pick my bias by their stage presence and how much they garner my attention; personality comes second. while i did notice yedam since episode one (how do you NOT notice him tho considering the screen time he got jsjd), I just found other trainees a tad more appealing to my liking. it wasn't until the sudden wave of his songs that surfaced on soundcloud and youtube after the announcement of his debut that made me notice notice him. when I heard purple rain I was sold (despite the overuse of autotune) and suddenly I only heard his three songs on repeat and had his perf with keita on loop and watched his bonus vids like his what's in my bag video AGAIN and bOOM HE HAD ME WRAPPED AROUND HIS FINGER

in other words; i started to become the yedam love bot i am once the show was over

that is one of my favourite the maine songs and i wish they would fucking play it live goddamn it it’s a BOP

i’m so happy you asked me this question because i love talking about lyrics but i always feel weird about saying what i think of the maine’s lyrics online because i look up to john’s way with words so much and i just feel like sometimes it’s so complex that it doesn’t seem right for me to dictate what it might mean (even if it’s just personal interpretation) 

but i’m gonna just say a few quick things about it since u asked and ily for that 

ok so we all know that john likes to use girls/female pronouns in songs as metaphors or just make up a girl to tell a story, it’s not necessarily true, etc. so this ‘christina’ person in the lyrics might not be real, might not even reference a real person, but i kinda feel like maybe because the song was only a bonus track that maybe she is meant to be real?? idk. could all be totally fake but it’s honestly tough to tell with john and i don’t know if they ever knew anyone when they were younger called christina (since the song sounds kind of like he’s telling a story from his very late teens/early twenties, maybe?? that’s just kinda how i pictured it – like, they used to know each other, maybe they’ve come to meet again?? i have no idea sgdifudhojk) 

i’ve wondered before if maybe she was someone that john introduced to taking drugs hence “i feel just like a criminal” (and i think it’s probably blatantly obvious the song is about doing coke – nosebleeds, taking hits, etc) 

it just sounds like another brief portion in john’s life where he feels lost or not like himself 

and this christina person was someone from his past that he didn’t particularly want in his life again, didn’t find her to be a good person, something along those lines

i’m sure if i thought deeper about it there’d be a metaphor that stands in place of her too but i think it’s more fun to consider her a real person
