Get ready world!! SJSU’s PCN 30: Sampaguita is ONLY a few days away and to celebrate this memorable time, Akbayan has created a PCN spirit week! DAY 1: Director’s Appreciation To my acting directors Jared, Jeren, and Dom: Thank you SO MUCH for believing in me and pushing me to be the best Mama Tagbánua 😭 It’s been such a beautiful journey alongside you and the rest of our awesome acting cast. From auditions to now we’ve all grown so much, all thanks to ya’ll!! Can’t wait to kill it on stage and make all of you proud 💚 Ily all! To my Cultural director and best friend Carl: What an honor it’s been to be in a cultural dance taught by you! 4 years ago at a cultural workshop I saw how talented you were and thought you were so cool and wanted to be your friend so bad HAHAH. Over the years I’ve watched you become not only a great cultural director, but a phenomal cabinet member in two terms, a great friend, and an Akbayan legend. Thank you for being the light to guide and teach so many of us ✨ We love you!! All the weeks and hours of practicing will soon come to an end, but will all be worth it when we leave all our hard work on stage.
