My Overwatch headcanons part 1

Support addition

(Please respect my headcanon there just headcanons) Also this took hours for me to do my ppor hands TvT

Lifeweaver/Niran Pruksamanee

He smells like dew and fresh leafs from the tree's, he has this nice scent to him which is very sweet but not too sweet.

My boy hate's styling his hair since it's so long but he manages to take good care of it even though it's a hassle for him.

He's very close to Sym but loves to bother her once in awhile but know's she can put up with his non-sense even though he tends to do the most craziest thing ever.

Niran love's his parents very much but honestly he wish that would would understand why he's on the run than bother him of coming home or turning his long life project in to Vishkar.

Enjoys the company of both Hanzo and Sym since he grew to bond with them but it's also nice to have someone to talk too.(bonus points there tea friends)

Loves teasing others, mainly he doesn't even realise he's teasing people until later on since he sometimes doesn't even know if he's teasing or not.

He tends to listen to some of Lucio music and give his input in by giving him some advice but so far he has no complaints about his music.

There are times were he will accidentally life grip the wrong person even though, he was suppose to pull someone else to safety but if he pulled the wrong person who happened to be in front of him as he apologised none stop but will get mad at the person he was suppose to pull for charging in blindly.

He misses his sibblings and parents but does write letters to them saying that he's still alive and well.

Him and Symmetra are still gossip buddies since he would spill some of the tea that he knows.

His date with Bap went better than expected but he might go on another dinner date with him again.

People assume he's a vegan but in reality he isn't but doesn't eat too much meat he'll have once in awhile but not everyday.

His favourite food is mainly Pumpkin coconut soup, usually his mother knows how to make it but he can replicate it with no problem.

He and Hanzo are pen pals..That's it their just pen pals.(but there secret besties)

People often tend to mistake his kindness for flirtatiousness which happens almost all the time.

Know's that the others hate when he grips them to safety even though it's for there own good since there a bit reckless(mainly Genji and Rein)

He may not look like a person who enjoys bugs but he does, he probably picked up a few of them and showed them to his parents when he was younger and maybe as well towards Sym when they were room mates much to her dismay since he finds him interesting.

While he was room-mate's with Sym he was very well organize but whenever he was working on his project he would go on a no sleep streak just to get it done (Sym had to convince him to get his beauty sleep)

Has his own skin care routine (You cannot tell me he doesn't have his own skin care routine)

In his spare time he enjoys to meditate with either Zenyatta or Hanzo since he enjoys there company.

He's known for stealing food from the fridge but as of right now he's the one who steal Hanzo cake in the middle of the night and watches the chaos ensues as Hanzo accuses a few people who had eaten his cake.(Has thrown Kiriko under the bus once or twice to save himself from Hanzo wrath)

Love's to eat spicy food and enjoys seeing people reaction since he doesn't look like the type of person who enjoys spicy food.

He has ADHD.

Hate's Vishkar with a passion and wishes that his dear friend Satya would understand his whole point of how Vishkar isn't meant to help people.(Which is another reason why he"Graduated early")

He and Ashe bond a bit on their parental issue's/trauma to one another even though there almost similar it's different in there own way.

Has a sassy attitude when things tends to go south depending on how the mission goes.

He and Hanzo are close but not that close unlike Satya since he knew her longer than Hanzo.

Enjoys playing horror games even though he may not look like the person who enjoys it .

He actually worries for Moria, since he doesn't like that fact she's killing herself all in the name of science just to help others, Even though he knows what she's doing is wrong.

Completely understands Baptiste point of few for Cassidy since he too finds the cowboy very attractive as well

Ana Amari

She has regrets on being a horrible mother to Fareeha ever since she basically disappeared but moreover she just abandoned her daughter and wishes to make amends with her

Ana doesn't feel anger towards Amelie (Widowmaker) as she shot out her eye, she has no ill will towards her in all honestly she feels upset on what happen to her that she couldn't save her

Is actually proud of Cole and does see him as her son since he was close to her as well as Fareeha.

Will never forget the day when Cole called her mom once while she was teaching him how to shoot, it actually made her very emotionally (has never let him forget it but only when there alone)

Is under a ton of stress since she worries for both Jack and Gabe, since she wants too help them but knows that there going to refuse her help since both men are very stubborn.

She does have feeling's for Rein but is worried that it might not last for them since both of them are old but mainly she worries for Rein's well being since one wrong move might be fatal for him.

She really does see herself in Kiriko mainly when she was younger and in her prime but still Kiriko is a bit reckless but is learning along the way like she did.

Really really want's to go to Fiji and enjoy her retirement but knows that she can't but only in her dreams can she relax on the beach.

When Junkrat asked her to be his mother figure it's not that she didn't want too adopt him but it's mainly the fact he'll ask to many question. Which will cause her a headache or worse she might put him to sleep if need be, cause she already has too many kids to watch after (mainly Cole and her daughter)

She's really proud of Fareeha but is very worried about her safety even though she knows Fareeha knows what she's doing.

Hopes that one day Fareeha would forgive her but knows that it'll take time when she's ready to forgive her.

Is grateful that since Genji move's around it really does keep her sharp in battle since clearly Genji is the best target for her(Though she won't tell him that since he might run away from her)

Has secretly adopted Hanzo because she knows how that he needs someone to talk too.(She also adopted Genji too)

As much as she adores Cole he sometimes get's a bit on her nerves but know he does it in the goodness of his heart and she knows that but she's too old to have competition with him on who's the better shot.(She know's she'll beat him so she's sparing him the embarrassment)

Worries about Jack but will always have his back till the end even if it maybe stupid she care's about him cause someone needs to get him out of trouble.

Is very tired and exhausted mentally and emotionally but puts up a front.

She enjoys having tea with either Hanzo or Sym but sometimes having the both of them over for tea is really relaxing for her.

Wants to help Gabe but knows that deep down he'll refuse it and it honestly hurts her since she cares about him after finding out he was alive all those years.

Basically is a babysitter to the newer recruits and always tell them to make time for themselves too relax but sometimes it tends to go over there heads.(Which reminds her of herself when she was in her prime)

Like she says hates being feared since it really hurts her since all she wanted was respect from others than fear, since it has taken a toll on her since she'll forever be known as the world deadliest sniper and nothing more just a killer.

Angela Ziegler

Is sleep deprived 24/7 and runs on energy drinks and strong coffee

Wants to help Widowmaker since she notice that a bit of her emotions are coming through but knows she can't get too close she just needs to find the right timing.

She really enjoys Genji and Fareeha company since she does tend to over work herself and they always help her out by taking her to bed.

Swiss Chocolate is her favourite but she also like milk/dark chocolate too .

Would always throw away Cassidy cigar packs but would tend to find more, which annoys her because she doesn't want him to smoke anymore.

Enjoys Zenyatta company since she wants to know how his healing works but also the fact he help Genji out more than she ever could and wishes she could have done more to help him.

Is very pissed off at Moria for her unethical medical style for "Healing " Reyes and Widowmaker by making them suffer in pain

Wishes that Gabriel would have went to her if he was suffering/ help him out with the pain he's dealing with so she can end the pain.

She has doubts that she isn't the best doctor moreover she regrets not seeing the signs that were in front of her before the fall of Overwatch.

People assumed that she resents Hanzo for killing Genji but she doesn't she actually feels bad for him since she heard him cry a few times during the night from night terrors(She talks to him during times where he wake's up from his night terrors and sits with Hanzo comforting him to the best of her abilites)

Knows she overworks herself but she can't help it since she feels like she failed so she pushes herself to work even harder were she sometimes forget to eat and sleep.

She's grateful that Genji and Fareeha will always look out her even Cassidy too though she wishes he would still stop smoking.

Moira O'Deorain

Is sleep deprived and runs on coffee as well as spite so she ends up looking very not healthy or in the best shape.

Has chronic pain in her arm but deals with it since it's only a minor setback with her experiments.

Finds joy in others misery since it makes her happy.

Loves to bring up the fact that Genji is not saint since he agreed with her that Reyes did the right thing by killing Antonio.

She and Angela tends to but heads a lot but has respect for Angela even though in the end Reyes went to her and not Angie.

She won't admit it but she does miss Cole company but still finds him annoying as ever.(Though she won't admit it too him)

Finds Lifeweaver enduring and clearly she wants to learn more about his bio-lights than ever(Much to her delight he doesn't tends to run off but also dismay that he wants her too stop experimenting on herself)

Has own a few pet bugs mainly hissing roaches since there amazing and very calm animals but owned a few pet mice and rats in her youth.(Bonds with Lifeweaver about her hissing roaches)

Thinks science is more better than medicine and will die on this hill with that statement no matter the cost.

Is tried of hearing Gabriel complain about being in consent pain so she just gave him pain killers to shut him up about it but knows it only work just a bit but it'll at least keep him quiet, Since she is actually working on a way to end his pain she just needs more time.

The tests she runs on Sigma are more brain waves activity wise.(Sombra is keeping an eye on her and she knows it)

Doesn't care if people find her experiments unethical they always get the job done for her no matter how dire the consequences are, even if it means she dies in the end.

Honestly wishes that she would have given Genji a proper body than the bare minimum that Angela did.

Has a bug collection plus has a book about different types of bugs as well.(Mainly the ones that have venom )

Zenyatta Tekhartha

Zenyatta even though he speaks in a calm voice deep down there's a huge amount of regret for things he wish or said.

He's grateful that he met Genji and he wouldn't have it any other way, he also finds the Genji is his favourite student(even though he does feel disappointed in him sometimes)

Zenyatta just enjoys pranking the others about what he did before he awoken after the crisis since too doesn't have a clue what he did so he made a few lies.

He care's deeply for Ramattra and knows that he cares for him too but he wishes he would stop on this destructive path he's on.

He finds it funny that Ramattra and Genji bicker with each other but keeps an eye on them in case if they do anything stupid to one another(Had to separated them since it getting a bit tense)

By all means he isn't a pacifist, but he does fight when its necessary(Though he has bruised Jack ego while sparring with him which was funny)

He enjoys spending time with Genji since Genji also saved him but won't admit it too him.

Zen is willing enough to help Genji brother Hanzo out since he has his door open for the elder Shimada but just like Genji when he first met him refused his offer but he knows within time Hanzo will come to him when he's ready so he's not forcing him.

He has no idea why he floats he just finds it cool.

Has actually broken down in anger and mourn for Mondatta after he heard the news his brother was killed. That will be the only time he felt true anger.

He thanks Angela for saving Genji but also encourages her that she did a good job on saving his brightest student.

Always is willing to listen too someone issues since he doesn't mind that they also vent to him.

He has wished he knew what he did before the crisis but to him it'll forever be a mystery that not even he could solve, he hopes that the Iris will tell him.

Deep down he knows Cole is suffering in silence but doesn't want to push him to talk, he knows that Cole can come too him when he needs too or when Cole requests it too him. (He knows that if he approaches Cole, he'll lie to him stating that he's fine)

He enjoys gardening with Symmetra and likes her company along with her friend Niran, their such nice people.

Kiriko Kamori

Enjoys annoying others mainly to get a rise out of them since she enjoys it.

Does see that Genji and Hanzo as older brothers and cares deep for them.

Is actually mad at Hanzo for leaving since she thought he died along with Genji when the Hashimoto took over Kanezaka and Hanamura after he left but doesn't know the whole story that it got dismantled by Overwatch

She doesn't know what happened to Genji as Hanzo won't even tell her(She thinks it was the Hashimoto clan whom brutally attacked Genji)

Loves every single type of donuts, she mainly eats them all the time even though it bad for her

She writes to her mom keeping her updated and making sure she is safe, even though she knows her mom can handle herself she doesn't want her getting hurt.

Her mom gave her a fox plushie when she was little and she still has it too this day even though Pharah makes fun it, it keeps her company knowing that her mom is keeping her company even though she's far from home

Writes too her friends as well making sure that they keep tabs on the Hashimoto but also writes down on other things they need too do which still hasn't happened yet which is arson

Doesn't understand why Hanzo won't pick up the sword and she'll never know since Genji is also keeping her in the dark about it as she asked him why.

She named the Kitsune Yanagi (Willow)

Has encourage Hanzo and Genji too name their dragons but doesn't know that they already did when they got them

Is besties with Brigitte,D.va, and Tracer. She really enjoys their company

Knows she needs to take things slow but too her slow is boring and doesn't get anything done

She learnt JSL when she met Akari which she practiced too the point she knows how to start off a conversation. She also started learning ASL as well, but also convinced Genji and Hanzo too do JSL

Wants too be friends with Illari but always gets avoid by her too the point where Hanzo tells her too stop to which she does(She's jealous of Hanzo because he and Illari talk to one another)

She's also jealous of Brigitte since she also became friends with Illari and asks how did she do it too which Brigitte tells her she has no idea

Has ask Lifeweaver for his skin care routine since she get's acne and acne scars too, she was disappointed when he told her to stop eating donuts

Find's Widowmaker such a buzz kill though has always wondered why her skin was blue

She thinks Hanzo has a crush on Cole, she's there number 1 shipper too the point were she actually tries to set them up on date's

Has stayed up all night with D.va just too play video games with her mainly horror games.

She finds Cole interesting but doesn't want to get on his bad side since he has gotten mad at D.va before in front of her.

Worries about her father every day and prays that he'll be alive the next day

Care's deeply for both Hanzo and Genji but tries her hardest not to bother them too much even though she has so many questions on what happened to them and where they went

Brigitte Lindholm

Brigitte is socially awkward when it come's meeting new people, but she's slowly getting better at it

Love's her mother apple pie and knows how too make it

She's a daddy's girl, she loves her dad but tends to worry about him about taking a break

Goes to Hanzo for some criticisms when she writes her poetry since she looks up too him for any creative ideas .

She's forever grateful that Kiriko introduced her too Hanzo, but is also grateful that she met Kiriko since she matches her energy too when they spar

Is Lucio number 1 fan but is scared to ask for an autograph from him but knows that he'll sign one for her she just doesn't know how to approach him for one.

Has taken in stray cats, much too her father and mother dismay but none the less she take's pride in her children.

The first time she adopt Mitiz, was when Mitiz was a stray kitten that she took in and cried begging her dad and mom to adopt her since Mitiz was sick.

She does find dogs cute and adorable as her siblings has a few of them but she more of a cat person than anything

Has a small crush on D.va and Kiriko but won't tell them since that's too embarrassing

Finds that Genji is a big baby when they spar, since she honestly thinks she didn't even hit him that hard(Even though she cracked his visor a bit)

She basically has to tell Rein too slow down since he's not in his prime anymore though he some how manages to convince her that he isn't which makes them spar

Has a major sweet tooth

Her cheat days contain donuts, apple pie and candies. She's trying to cut it back hint the word trying

Plays video games with D.va along side with Kiriko but usually just watches them play but is the back seat gamer trying to help them either get pass a level or point out the clues that is in front of them even though it frustrates her since they don't notice

The first time she saw Illari she reminded her of Hanzo for some odd reason, she basically became her first friend in which she didn't know how, but none the less they have bond on how cute their pet's are

She finds Cassidy quiet enduring even from her father it usually sounds like he makes it like everything is Cassidy's fault. Now she's not sure if her dad is basically telling her the truth.

Lena knows about her crushes with Kiriko and D.va which makes her very embarrassed by that statement since she knows Lena means well but she can't do it because it's scary

Lúcio Correia dos Santos

He was very surprised when he found out that Lifeweaver was part of Vishkar but is on the run from as they wanted to use his biolight that he made, it made him sympathies with him on that level since that is what happen to his dad(though he stole it back from them)

Lucio really doesn't like Symmetra since she doesn't understand that Vishkar isn't as what they seemed, he doesn't trust her fully but he slowly allowing her in since it appears that it maybe dawning on her on what they're actually doing but as of now he doesn't trust her yet.

Always writes to his dad and tells him that he's safe, but also keeps him updated on what he's doing

Will forever be grateful when Brigitte saved him since always tell her that was a good catch

Huge fanboy when he saw Tracer and Genji, got very nervous upon speaking to them since he didn't even know how too act around them at first.

The first time he did wall riding it was actually terrifying for him since he honestly wasn't so sure if he was going to fall or not but he won't admit that

He easily get's flustered when someone flirts with him every part of him shuts down

Knows Brigitte wants an autograph from him but doesn't want to embarrass her if he approaches her asking her if she wants one so he's waiting for her to ask him for one

He once asked Lifeweaver on why he is so keen on still being friends with Symmetra even though she see's nothing wrong with what Vishkar is doing, but was a bit shocked by his answer since he was the reason he slowly started to allow her in.

He won't lie he has a small crush on Lifeweaver and pretty much will never admit that to him.

Tried to get Zenyatta advice but too him listening to nothing but silence doesn't sound right too him since he needs to do something

Has ADHD since he really hate's standing still and doing nothing.

Give out song writing tips too Brigitte but tells her she's doing a good job for far.

He enjoys watching Hanzo carve are even though Hanzo is a grouch he pretty much enjoys at how skill full he is.

Worries about his dad as he scared that Vishkar might come and either do something too him

Love's teaching others how too play soccer but he can be very competitive at times well mainly most of the time, he just hates losing

He's trying really hard to be nice too Symmetra he really is even trying to understand from her point of view as well but its just too hard

It made him happy that Genji allowed him to hook up his lights with his music even though it made him mad it truly made his day since Genji finally agreed to it once and only once

Is still pretty upset with the soccer match that he watched with Illari and too this day he still blames the ref for not seeing that foul for the first half

He enjoys asking everyone's favourite but when he tells his favourite animal is the Axolotl, people usually seem surprise since he seems more like a person who enjoys frogs. Though frogs are his second favourite animal also he just finds axolotl's cute.

Jean-Baptiste Augustin

Baptiste has a few regrets on what he's done too Mauga but he had to leave since Mauga always brought out the worse in him

He won't denied the fact that he still has a crush on Cole since how could he not, but he let Lifeweaver know about this but was shocked when his new bf agreed with him that Cole is good looking.

Was surprised when Lifeweaver asked him out on a date and is excited to have another date with him too, apparently they're going to have another soon

The only people he's truly scared of from Talon are Sombra and Widowmaker

He worries about Lifeweaver and Mauga meeting for the first time since he has no idea how Mauga would actually react upon meeting Lifeweaver. and he knows that Mauga won't kill him which is what scares him the most.

He's honestly surprised that no one has figured out that he used to work for Talon and he has Cole to thank for that.

Is scared of Symmetra since she found out he was dating Lifeweaver thinking he was going to die by her after she threaten him in a not so friendly way.

Tried to confess his feelings too Cole but chickened out last minute when Cole smiled at him leaving him in a flustered mess(Niran had to comfort him)

Feels like shit for not realising that Cole hates pork since he shared his pork griot with Cole once (He had to tell Cole to spit it out in his hand)

He misses eating dous makos (Haitian fudge)

Enjoys Cassidy company but always fumbles his words when he's with him, since his feeling for him will never go away

Is Pharah sparing buddy

Hate's it when Pharah tells him to just ask Cole out since he has "two hands" (He can't though he stumbles over his words and get's embarrassed. He'll get there soon)

Illari Quispe Ruiz

Has major regret on what she did and has night terrors about it wishing that she never became an Inti warrior.

She finds tends to find Hanzo comforting and enjoys his company while she listen too the is advice he's giving to her as takes it to heart.

Finds Kiriko a bit too head strong but wants to be her friend.

Has a sleep over with Brigitte as they talk to one another about how cute their pets are.

She and Mei spend time together talking to one another as she also enjoys her company.

How she found out about Sombra was through Cole and is paying her to find what else happened with the solar threading. She won't stop till she finds out what went wrong with the ceremony.

Thinks Hanzo has a crush on Cole but won't say it loud though she thinks almost everyone likes Cole.

Got invited to watch D.va,Brigitte,and Kiriko to play video games with Brigitte offering(to which she agreed)

Love's listening to Lucio music since she finds some comfort in it, helping her relax.

Knows Hanzo secret since he told her on what he did to his own brother, making her understand that this was a rough topic for him to speak about.

Usually stands on the sidelines but when offered company she allows it but has a bit of paranoia of hurting someone

She knows she can go to Zenyatta but she worries that he might not understand what she's done to the other Inti warriors.

Doesn't even know why she enjoys Hanzo company, she just does.

Has tea with Ana as she wants to learn more about her than even but tries not to mention on what happened too her with the widowmaker incident.

Finds Cole interesting since he doesn't talk to much about his past but mainly talks about things he did during Overwatch before it all came crumbling down.

Hanzo and Brigitte are her sparing buddies since she can keep up with them.

Enjoys Lifeweaver company there no reason for it since she just does

Knows how to make papa rellena (stuffed potatoes) since it's her favourite food since she loves eating it

Her and Brigitte are gossip buddies we'll mainly Brigitte since she usually tells her what goes down between Kiriko and D.va.

Plays soccer with Lucio and just lets him win too boost his ego since the last time she won it wasn't a pretty sight to watch so she allows him too win.

Caught herself almost calling Hanzo dad but quickly coughed to cover it up.

Watches Hanzo carve his wooden charms but was surprised when Hanzo asked her if he wanted to teacher to which she said yes.

Had a pajama party with Mei and Brigitte as they watched movies together.

Might get another llama for Chuño since she doesn't want him to be lonely. If she does end up getting another llama she might name them Pionono(jelly roll )

'Home': Support Headcanons!

If you asked the support heroes where their idea of home would be, and what it would look/feel like, this is what I think they'd say. My asks are open and if you have any opinions or suggestions, I'm always open to them c:

Ana Amari / Ana: Life has been long for her, and she would do anything to feel like somewhere was home for her again. After living most of her adult life as a dead woman, Ana would tell you that home last was when Fareeha was a child, and she worked with Overwatch before it was banned. Ana still looks back on that time in her life and I'm sure she would do anything to be able to go back in time, and watch Pharah grow and learn all over again. Ana would love to be able to relive her relationships with Sam and Reinhardt, and experience everything she took for granted all over again. Waking up at HQ to Fareeha watching over her, holding a warm cup of coffee to help wake her up before another mission; that's what home looks and feels like for Ana. Things happened for a reason though, in her eyes, and she's learned to accept that home doesn't exist for her anymore, or at least right now.

Jean-Baptiste Augustin / Baptiste: Baptise has never felt at home anywhere, until he joined Overwatch during it's revival. Anywhere that could've been a place for him to feel comfortable and at ease in was riddled with Talon, war, death and the cries of his loved ones. It's something he's always struggled with even if it doesn't seem like it. He grew up in unstable environments and without the support he deserves, so Baptiste views Overwatch HQ and his newfound friends as his home. Even if that home is constantly changing countries and constantly moving around, he still values the stability of knowing he's around likeminded people who support him and value his skillset without manipulating him.

Brigitte Lindholm / Brigitte: Gothenburg, Sweden will always be her forever home. She'd happily tell you this if you ever asked, and more specifically, her family home. Brigitte grew up in a busy home, and it's something that she truly appreciates and she appreciates how lively Gothenburg can be. She thrives in places packed with people, and always has. Home for her looks and feels like waking up to the smell of her mother cooking her a freshy baked apple pie, with her younger siblings playing around her as though she were apart of the decorations. Being somewhere surrounded by family is something she's always appreciated, and she feels most at home when she's with Torbjorn especially. Hearing everyone talk on top of each other, conversations drowning within themselves, with so much to do and so little time, is something she thrives on. It makes Brigitte feel alive. All that's left is some love from her cat!

Illari Quispe Ruiz / Illari: She doesn't like to answer this question, or think about her 'home', but deep down it would be Runasapi, Peru (before it happened). She used to be desperate to go back and fix it all, prevent it from happening, and save her loved ones. It's something Illari prayed to whoever was listening for, for years. Until she taught herself to be numb; now, she avoids thinking about it and doesn't believe she's deserving of that comforting feeling of being somewhere you know you can be yourself, be safe and be greeted with love. Illari has a lot of guilt boiled deep down inside her, and thinking about 'home' does her no good.

Kiriko Kamori / Kiriko: Home for Kiriko is back at her apartment, surrounded by her neighbours, hosting a dinner night with them all enjoying themselves. She knows this is a pipe dream, but having Genji there too would sweeten the deal. Hanzo, on the other hand, is someone she's still yet to gain trust with again after everything the Shimada Clan/Gang has done to them. Kiriko describes home as the loving embrace of those who mean the most to her; it reminds her to keep fighting for a better world, for their protection, and to keep going in the face of danger

Niran Pruksamanee / Lifeweaver: Lifeweaver tends not to dwell on the idea of home, and what that might look like for him. It's not something he has to worry about, and he believes he has bigger things to concern himself with. But, if you were to pry it out of him, home would be at the academy with Satya; not because he misses working for Vishkar (especially with what they've done), but he misses the carefree nature of his life. Niran misses being able to walk somewhere without looking over his shoulder, paranoid that someone will hurt him for his technology. He would do anything to go back in time, and do things differently to ensure his future protection. Niran's idea of home is long gone, and he wants to move forward and create a new home for himself and others. Healing the world is the first step to getting there, and he still has a long way to go in his mind.

Lúcio Correia Dos Santos / Lucio: Lucio's got two ideas of what home would look like for him; he feels most comfortable and at ease when he's DJing at an underground gig, embracing the music through him and uniting everyone from different backgrounds together. It's something he'll never take for granted, and the impact he makes on others just from those gigs alone is enough for him to consider it his home. If you were to ask on a deeper level though, in an ideal world where he could have anything he wanted, do anything he wanted, and with anyone he wanted, Lucio would tell you that home would be with his father. He misses him greatly, and longs for those late nights coming home from school, watching and helping his dad cook some Pao de Queijo for dinner. The smell alone of Pao de Queijo brings him back, and makes him miss his father even more. One last hug from him would remind him of where his home truly is.

Angela Ziegler / Mercy: With Angela, she's used to travelling so much, with where she sleeps rarely feeling like home. It's not a familiar feeling she has, but she feels most at home when she's in her element and helping others in a hospital setting. Being a medic is hard enough, but being injured is harder in her eyes. Instead of having her own home, she aims to give others who might not have one themselves somewhere to feel safe, and to feel cared for by at least one other person. It's something near and dear to her heart, and it's what motivates her to keep working as a medic, and keep fighting the good fight for those who're hurt in the process. She thinks everyone deserves to feel 'home' somewhere, so why can't she give that to others instead of focusing on her own?

Moira O'Deorain / Moira: Moira's idea of home is in her genetics lab, working on something important and without any restrictions on her practices. Letting her mind run free with ideas, calculations, next steps, etc. is where she feels the best. She hates being limited and detests the laws in place that stop her from exploring genetics to their maximum capabilities. In Moira's ideal world, home would be working without limits, developing what she believes would be the next best step in human evolution. Otherwise, she doesn't really consider the idea of 'home' as a concept as a real thing. It's not something Moira want's to entertain herself with as it would only distract her on what she views most important.

Tekhartha Zenyatta / Zenyatta: The most 'Zen' thing he could say is that home isn't attainable until there's peace between humans and omnics, once and for all. He used to have a home; Shambali Monastery was where he used to call his home. But ever since Null Sector's and Talon's attacks, he realises it was far from it. He, as an omnic, would never be able to find home until he's free to live in the same ways as other humans, without the wars and violence that comes with gaining those rights. Zenyatta will always avoid the conversation, and when he can't he'll either avoid answering by asking you first and distracting you with more questions, or will give a long drawn answer that means nothing of substance but reassures you in a very strange way...

Sunset Mecha / Illari x Dva Headcanons! Sure I'm happy to write for them - I'll keep it SFW and if you want some NSFW ones send another ask c:

How did they meet? What were their opinions of each other when first meeting? They would've met through Overwatch, and one of their missions together would've ensured they'd work together. They didn't know much about each other beforehand, besides what the news had spoke about, and the mission gave them an opportunity to work closer together and understand each other better. Illari would've thought of D.Va as the typical celebrity - she was sceptical about how kind or how determined Hana truly was, and it was something she kept her guard up about. She'd be somewhat envious of the fact that her country values Hana so deeply, and she's able to serve Korea in a way that Illari couldn't for Peru and the Inti Warriors. Hana, on the other hand, wouldn't have much to say about Illari that wasn't positive. She would be excited to work with someone new, and welcomes friends with open arms. I can imagine, though, that she'd be frustrated with Illari as she sees how fiercely independent she is. Hana wouldn't understand it, even though she's the same way at times, and she would get frustrated at times trying to help Illari when she clearly needs it but wont accept it especially during the mission.

How did they start dating? Who confessed first? They would've been definitely butting heads, almost enemies to lovers. They'd be too alike for them not to - they're both independent, rarely back down, and deep down they're overworked and mentally exhausted. They'd end up enjoying time late at night, working, understanding each other the more they spoke and opened up about their past. It helped them get to know each other, and helped spring up romantic feelings between the two of them. Hana would've confessed first, one night while working with Illari on overdue deadlines and paperwork. Illari's too proud and too anxious at the same time to confess her feelings and open up to that extent, especially with what happened to her loved ones in the past. She doesn't believe she deserves love, so it would take Illari time to respond and tell Hana she feels the same way and wants a relationship. Hana's understanding of this though; sure it hurt a lot at the time, not knowing if she was being rejected or accepted. But she knew that regardless of the outcome, they'd be able to be friends still and work with each other with competence. When Illari did accept her, and told her she felt the same way but was scared, the conversation after was filled with reassurance, love and tears. It would've been the first time either of them cried in so long, and it would be well worth it to bring them even closer together.

What are their ideal dates? Illari isn't fussy when it comes to dates - as long as she gets to spend time with Hana, she's happy. However, she loves a picnic in the park on a sunny but breezy day. Illari and Hana often have dates where they meet up in the park, with the objective of bringing food that's from their home countries so that they can talk about what they mean, why they love them and share their thoughts on it. Being able to embrace each other's cultures is important to Illari, and she values how open minded Hana is when it comes to food. It's something they love to explore with each other, and even if they sat in silence most of the date, taking in the environment and people watching, she'd be happy knowing Hana was loving her country's food and cooking. Hana, on the other hand, loves a date night in the most. Hana loves movie marathon dates, where her and Illari pick 3 movies to watch each, and they binge-watch all 6 as though they're movie critics. They love expanding their movie knowledge and being able to share the time with some snacks and something to fill their mind that isn't work is something they both appreciate, but especially Hana. She likes to make each date night in feel different, so other common dates she loves are karaoke night, book club night and sometimes, if she's feeling especially in the mood, she just likes to smoke some weed with Illari and watch some old cartoons. Hana's not the type to usually smoke weed, but she and Illari both benefit from it massively and she enjoys doing so with someone else who's open minded and willing to with her.

What do they like most about each other? Hana, as much as she likes to stay positive, likes Illari's perspective on life. Illari has a more grounded reality, and she's experienced so much hardships in her life that it's made her more reluctant to trust people. Her outlook on things helps Hana ground her and keep her out of her bubble of what she wants people to be like. It's helped her be less trusting, to the point of naivety. It's something she values from Illari, especially when she doesn't mince her words and helps Hana process things she otherwise wouldn't bother with because she gives people too much benefit of the doubt. Illari, on the other hand, loves Hana's positivity. It's something she struggles with, and struggles with her mental health sometimes to the point where she's clouded with the negativity in her mind. However, Hana reminds her of the beauty of life, and gives her hope of better endings and beginnings. She appreciates being told she's being pessimistic, or being too nihilistic, or simply is being silly and that's not the case by Hana. Having someone who can counter your thoughts with logic and reassurance is something Illari values, and it brings her even closer to Hana.

Who cooks the most? They've definitely had their moments where they're too tired and just simply order food, regretting it in the morning because of the late night delivery fee being so high. However, when they have the time and opportunity to, Illari loves to cook for Hana and they often do it together. It's something they really have fun with, even if they make a mess of the communal OVW HQ kitchen (to which Angela always gets upset about because they've forgotten to clean up after themselves somewhere). They enjoy the time together, and the silliness that comes with it. Sometimes Illari does it herself alone, especially when Hana's busy, so that she can bring it to her as a hot meal to keep her energised and focused. She enjoys doing so and making sure Hana takes care of herself properly. Plus, she's seen the things Hana does while cooking (forgetting to turn the oven on, overheating oil to the point of fire, etc) so she doesn't trust her to do it alone unless she has to.

What are their love languages? Hana's main love language for showing love is physical affection - a hand on Illari's, a kiss on the cheek, holding Illari, anything like that is something Hana feels most able to do to show her love. It's where she feels most confident, and she has the opinion of actions speaking louder than words. However, she still loves showing Illari how much she loves her through her words, as a way to amplify her actions. With Illari being very similar to Hana, Hana feels more confident doing so verbally with less risk of judgement and it's something she feels she can do freely. However, when receiving love, she loves acts of service. Sometimes, Hana's simply too lazy to do things or doesn't have the energy, or her workload is that packed she can't do things. So, she really appreciates when Illari picks up the slack and offers to do these things, and offers to help her. Will Hana always accept it? No, but when she does after Illari tells her to stop being so headstrong and accept her help, she always appreciates it. She refuses it because she doesn't want to be a burden or cause someone more exhaustion just for her, but she really loves it deep down when her partner does acts of service. Hana loves to be treated like a princess, and loves to be services in that way. It makes her feel special and important, like Illari's her knight in waiting.

Supports & Guilty Pleasure Headcanons Sort of the same vibes as the bad habits and ‘home’ hcs i did a couple posts back, but with guilty pleasures instead! My asks are open and if you have any opinions, thoughts or suggestions I'm all ears c: they're under the cut & enjoy!

Ana Amari: Ana's definitely the type of woman who knows all the gossip, reads tabloid magazines, and is already aware of drama unfolding in the celebrity world before you do. It's her favourite thing, and she likes to feel detached from her life through the lives of celebrities.

Jean-Baptiste Augustin: You can't tell me Baptiste doesn't eat up reality tv shows where all the contestants are conventionally attractive, and they're trying so hard not to eat each other's faces constantly (Love Island, Too Hot To Handle, etc). It's his favourite thing to watch when he needs something to numb his mind, and is something he rarely shares with his co-workers out of embarrassment over how invested he gets into them.

Brigitte Lindholm: With Brigitte, she has a good grasp on her impulsivity and has an astounding level of self control. She's disciplined and she's careful with her food, especially if it's not a cheat day. However, she's not one to stray from snacking late at night. Angela's seen her standing in her PJs eating cheese out the bag at the fridge, and it's something she will never live down. When asked, she'll simply tell you she's listening to her body and she can't control when she's hungry (in a joking way). It was something she especially did growing up, as Torbjorn will tell you anytime the topic is brought up.

Illari Quispe Ruiz: For Illari, I can imagine her best and most fulfilling guilty pleasure is sleeping in. She works herself to death, with most of her nights being cut short due to the work she has to finish ASAP. She prioritises her work over her health more often than not, so she rewards herself with a decent lie in every once in a while. Because of how sleep deprived she'd be though, she would end up sleeping 15hrs straight, waking up to a whole new level of drama unfolding at HQ.

Kiriko Kamori: Guilty pleasures are something Kiriko used to struggle with - she's had every one you can think of at least at one point in her life. Currently, it's shopping online for non-essentials. She's had several apps and websites blocked from being accessed due to how much she was spending on items. They weren't even for herself most of the time; if she saw something that reminded her of a co-worker in Overwatch, or knew they were wanting something of a specific nature, it would already be bought and getting prepared before they can consider getting it for themselves. It's sweet, but also makes her bank account shiver every time she gets paid.

Niran Pruksamanee / Lifeweaver: Daydreaming is one of Niran's worst guilty pleasures in the sense that you'll catch him doing so at least once a day. He loves exploring his imagination, and loves to let himself get drifted off into his daydreams when he's supposed to be focused on something else. When he was in Uni, he was often questioned by his roommates about if he had MDD (maladaptive daydreaming disorder), because of how often he would be found daydreaming without a concern for the real world. He didn't but it made him self conscious about his daydreaming, so he rarely talks about them and when he does daydream, it's usually in private or where people won't notice he is.

Lúcio Correia Dos Santos: Lucio loves to sing in the shower - it's something he's always done and it helps him enjoy something mundane in his routine. However, when he does it's extremely loud, and he usually has a speaker that's way too loud and echoes throughout HQ. He's been warned about it before, but he doesn't see the harm in it.

Angela Ziegler / Mercy: When it comes to guilty pleasures, she tries not to indulge in them and have some restraint when it comes to habits. However, she admittedly loves desserts and will often eat desserts first or as a main meal of the day instead of savouring them last. It's something she'll never change, and if you try to tell her otherwise she'll purposely eat dessert first for a week straight just to agitate you (in a light-hearted way).

Moira O'Deorian: When Moira's not working, she can be often found in loungewear, planted on the sofa of Talon HQ, watching a nostalgic show she used to love as a teen or young adult. She hogs the tv, and is surrounded by snacks when she watches them. She loves the nostalgia, and it's a form of escape from work and the physical stress on her body from her experiments. It's the best way for her to unwind, in her opinion, and she encourages people to join her (even though she's taking up 90% of the sofa, and they'd have to sit on the floor to watch with her).

Tekhartha Zenyatta: Zenyatta's main guilty pleasure that he would talk about is watching cute animal videos on youtube or facebook. He enjoys the comfort in the innocence of the animals, and he'll go in depth on how it's cleansing for the soul, it's nourishing for the mind, things of that nature. He enjoys the time spent relaxing, enjoying something that's not negative or necessarily pointed in a certain way (like political, for example).

What do you think of the Illari x Juno stuff that has been floating around recently?

Honestly I really like it! I feel like their dynamic is really interesting and compliments each other really well. I also in general love Day x Night dynamics. They're a similar age with fairly similar stories but with opposite reactions, optimism and pessimism, hope and tragedy. There's also the added angst of Illari being Talon and Juno being Overwatch.

There are honestly a lot of things you can do with this ship, honestly the most intriguing thing to me is the idea of Juno teaching Illari how to hope again and Illari teaching Juno how to keep calm under preassure. It's an interesting dynamic I can't wait to see explored by this fandom

Sleepless Nights & Supports (Headcanons) I can't sleep and my head's focused on writing, so I'm taking it as an opportunity to talk about what the supports would do if they couldn't sleep, and how that would affect them. My asks are open, and requests are welcome!

Ana Amari: Ana struggles a lot with sleeping, and always has. It's her kryptonite, and it's something she's become accustomed to. If she doesn't simply give into the lack of sleep and carry on with her day as though she had a restful night, Ana will often be found doing household chores. Things like laundry, cleaning, sorting her junk drawer, tasks of that nature help her to unwind and get back to sleep when she knows she needs it. Ana's the type of person who usually can cope for the day with any amount of sleep, though, but that doesn't mean she wouldn't complain to anyone who asked about her night about it. She's not groggy, just whiny when she's tired.

Jean-Baptiste Augustin: Baptiste can be inpatient when he can't sleep - he doesn't fathom how it could take longer than 10 minutes to fall asleep, even when Angela's explained this to him. It's hard for him to be patient and give his body the time it needs to get to sleep, so often he'll rush the process by having alcohol before bed. His favourite is red wine, often enjoying a glass or so if he can't sleep that night. However, Baptiste has a bad habit of drinking too much out of frustration for not being able to sleep, resulting in awful hangovers that require IV drips from Angela for the mission that day. He's not the type to be restless, but Baptiste's not really able to sleep when he has a lot on his mind, or when his past is lurking in the corners of his thoughts.

Brigitte Lindholm: Brigitte's one of the lucky few who can sleep anywhere, anytime with very little needed to get her to sleep. She flaunts it from time to time, bragging about how she can get to sleep very easily, and can get as much sleep as she wants no matter what. However, when she is restless and unable to relax her body and mind to sleep, Brigitte can be found doing very straining tasks, forcing herself into an exhausted state and resulting in an episode of hypersomnia. You'll find her in the gym, relentlessly exercising until she can barely think nor stand fully without feeling as though her body's going to collapse into itself. Brigitte's been scolded many times by Angela and her teammates, often being told that she doesn't need to do this to tire herself out, but she won't listen. It's the fastest, most efficient way for her to go to sleep and her pride won't let her admit that it's not the healthiest thing to do.

Illari Quispe Ruize: Like Ana, Illari is accustomed to lack of sleep and has found ways to cope throughout the day when she's gotten next to no sleep. It's something common for her, and she doesn't tend to force herself to do anything to get back to sleep or make it more comfortable. She's tried everything - drugstore sleep meds, magnesium glycinate, lavender pillow sprays, everything she possibly can. It's never helped, though, and for years she took this as something she'd have to live with. Illari viewed it as her personal punishment, so until she met Angela and was prescribed PRN medication to help with her sleep, she never did anything about it. Now, she takes diphenhydramine, an antihistamine that causes drowsiness and can act as a sleep aid, needed only for the moments when she desperately can't sleep. It took Illari a while to actually use them, and she feels silly knowing she didn't for so long with how effective they can be for her. It's something she's thankful to Angela for, and understands now the importance of getting proper sleep.

Kiriko Kamori: Kiriko doesn't struggle with her sleep as much as she used to, often finding her vigilante activities drain her quickly. However, if she's pushed herself too far and can't go back to sleep, you'll find her doing mindless activities like nonograms and sudoku, tiring her mind out until she has to give into the sleep. It's something she's always done to help relax her, and now it's used as her own personal sleep medication. Kiriko's the type of person who sometimes works herself to death, forgetting to eat or sleep because of the importance of her work and her role in the events coming up. So, when she is restless and can't fall asleep, she's usually at the end of her rope and becomes very agitated easily.

Niran Pruksamanee / Lifeweaver: You can't tell me that Niran hasn't dabbled in weed before, especially with his sleep. Niran's the type to find herbal supplements to help with his sleep, starting with CBD before using edibles and carts to help him relax and numb his mind. His restlessness comes from his imagination, and his need to improve the world around him. He'll be kept up with countless thoughts and ideas about what he could create or implement to better the Earth's environment, and it keeps him up well into the early hours of the morning if he doesn't do something to quiet his mind and shut out the thoughts for some time. It's something he doesn't like to talk about much, not wanting the opinions of others to be pushed on him unwanted, but he's always open to share with other people and get high with his colleagues if they're experienced with it too. When he is extremely tired though, he can be non-verbal, struggling to speak properly and he struggles with moving or doing things that aren't minute or necessities.

Lúcio Correia Dos Santos: Lucio's the type of person who, if they could tell they're gonna have a restless night, would have a warm cup of decaf tea, have a bubble bath with lavender scents, and would set their room up to be extremely warm so that he can encourage his body naturally to ease into sleep easier. He's used to noise and business, and often finds it comforting to sleep to because of his upbringing in the Favela, so he enjoys playing a movie or a tv show in the background of his room whilst he rests. Lucio won't be watching it, just simply using it as though it's music to settle his mind down and rest to. He's definitely the type of kid who would wake up to the scooby doo movie end credit screen that's been playing for hours on the DVD player.

Angela Ziegler / Mercy: Angela has every remedy for insomnia known to man, and has tried every single one. I like to imagine she has a spreadsheet for what kind of restlessness she's experiencing (in terms of what's causing it) to help her decide what she's going to do that night. Stuck in the past? Mindfulness journal. Aches or illness causing insomnia? Relevant flu and cold medicine to help cure her ills, alongside pain killers. Simply unable to rest her mind? Diphenhydramine will do the trick if magnesium glycinate isn't touching the sides. She's tried everything, and often rarely will have a restless night that isn't easily cured. Angela will always help those around her too with their own sleep quality, often sharing her spreadsheets for those who need/want them. However, when she can't sleep no matter what she tries, she's a pain to work with as she's groggy and snappier than usual, not tolerating any of the jokes thrown her way from her co-workers no matter who they are.

Moira O'Deorian: Moira doesn't struggle with her sleep anymore, as she's the type to prioritise it to the point where her rigorous routine tires her out to exhaustion. Sometimes, she'll have sleepless nights simply because she's working or there's construction going on wherever she's sleeping and so she can't fall asleep. The only things that really keep her up without her consent is noise, and she detests anyone that would interrupt vital time to rest her mind for the next day's research. She complained for months when Akande brought in a construction crew to redo his own bedroom, and wouldn't stop throwing daggers his way with her stares and glares. It got to the point that Sombra bought her a white noise machine, and encouraged her to try it through her refusals and rebuttals about the worthiness of such a small device. When she did though, it helped her more than she expected and now it's become an integral part of her night time routine. Moira's unapologetic about the noise as well, often claiming that if they don't like it, then they shouldn't be okay with construction for months at a time all day and night.

It's not really confirmed like it is with Juno being with Overwatch, but its hinted at being the likely storyline to the point of basically being canon. Mainly through Illari's voicelines and interactions. Not only that but she is genuinely the perfect target for Talons manipulation.

Recommending novels/books based on your support main! This is literally an excuse just to talk about the book's I've gotten through off my reading list this past week. My asks are open and any/all thoughts or opinions are welcome. TWs for any of the books mentioned will be listed as well. They're under the cut - enjoy!

Ana Amari: Ana used to find reading boring, often passing the time through other means. However, she's always found herself thinking about ‘Women Who Run With the Wolves’ by Clarissa Pinkola Estés. The book explores the wild woman archetype, and explores mythology, fables and fairy tales throughout, helping her to feel some form of escapism. The themes of resilience, feminine strength and intuition make this a book that Ana would definitely recommend to you! Applicable TW/CWs are as follows: sexual assault/violence, trauma, emotional abuse, death and grief, self-harm, mental health struggles, dark or disturbing imagery and cultural sensitivity (some of the mythology may be inaccurate).

Jean-Baptiste Augustin: With Baptiste's natural interest in healthcare/medical practices, the human body, and science with a hint of action and suspense, I think he'd recommend ‘Annihilation’ by Jeff VanderMeer to people similar to him or enjoy his character. It's the first book in the Southern Reach trilogy, and explores an expedition into an area known as Area X; a surreal place where psychological and physical expectations and limits are stretched and distorted throughout the novel. He enjoys the thrill the book provided him, and enjoyed the movie adaptation just as much. It's one that hasn't been able to leave his mind, and he won't stop talking about it when he rereads it every so often or if he's asked about it. Applicable TW/CWs are as follows: body horror, psychological horror, death and violence, suicide, isolation/despair, loss of identity, insanity, and disturbing imagery.

Brigitte Lindholm: With Brigitte's life experiences, and her need to understand other walks of life (and partially because I headcanon her as wlw), I like to imagine Brigitte holds the novel ‘Oranges Are Not the Only Fruit’ by Jeanette Winterson close to her heart, helping to explore her own identity in a personal, retrospective way. The book explores the life of the protagonist with her adoptive, religious parents and her deviation from religion as she explores her identity in Britain. It's a coming-of-age novel that Brigitte found changed her perspective on certain things, and she would recommend it to anyone wanting to read something that's not the standard teenage autobiography. Applicable TW/CWs are as follows: religious trauma, homophobia, emotional abuse, isolation and rejection, struggles with identity and psychological distress.

Illari Quispe Ruiz: Illari enjoys feminist books in my opinion, and enjoys dystopian novels that explore realities possibly not far from her own. It's something she's always enjoyed, with ‘The Power’ by Naomi Alderman being her favourite. She'd recommend it to anyone who enjoyed her character or was similar to her, and her reasons for it are understandable. This novel explores a world where women develop the power to control and produce electricity from their bodies/hands. This causes dramatic shifts in power dynamics within society, and explores the ways in which society would be different for women especially, with the moral questions lingering in the back of the reader's mind. Illari appreciates the outlook the book provides, and the ways in which it poses questions that shake your own morality. Applicable TW/CWs are as follows: sexual assault and r-pe, violence, torture, abuse of power, death and murder, religious extremism, trauma and psychological distress.

Kiriko Kamori: Kiriko enjoys introspection, and enjoys the idea of the afterlife as well as this. It's something she considers a lot, and about the life she'll be leaving behind in the future when her death comes closer. So, she would recommend ‘A Short Stay in Hell’ by William Blackwood to those similar to her or like her character - it explores the idea that hell isn't the stereotypical place with fire and burning, but a version where it's inhabitants have to endure a endless, meaningless and monotonous existence in a bureaucratic afterlife. Kiriko appreciates the way in which the novel sort of pokes fun at bureaucracy in real life/reality, and how much it degrades the human soul to do the same things each and every day. It definitely gave her a midlife crisis too early, but she thinks that everyone should read it at least once in their life. Niran Pruksamanee / Lifeweaver: With the type of person Niran is, he would want to understand other walks of life, and explore realities far from his own but pose questions that relate to his own. He enjoys being left with his own questions about himself, and enjoys having those discussions with his soul about his identity or those around him. It's something he's always enjoyed, with the novel ‘The Left Hand of Darkness’ by Ursula k. Le Guin sparking this especially. Niran would recommend it to anyone with gender or sexuality questions within themselves, or anyone who shares the same passion for understanding humans in fictional worlds. The book explores a reality in which inhabitants of a planet can change their gender at their own will, exploring themes of identity, human connections and empathy. It left a stain on his mind for weeks after he finished it, and he would always recommend it to those similar to him or people who admire/like his character. Applicable TW/CWs are as follows: sexual assault, psychological and physical trauma, gender and identity, cultural/societal oppression, isolation and alienation, death and conflict.

Lúcio Correia Dos Santos: Lucio has values regarding acceptance, community, and finding your place in society with support from others that he always holds dear to his heart. As such, he loves to explore stories with these themes. One of the books he'd recommend to anyone likeminded or those who like his character enough to main him would be ‘The House in the Cerulean Sea’ by TJ Klune. It's a heart-warming fantasy novel about a caseworker who works with magical children, discovering a new sense of belonging and companionship in the process. It's a meaningful book to Lucio, and he loves to talk about it any chance he gets. Applicable TW/CWs are as follows: child abuse/neglect, discrimination, prejudice, trauma, emotional distress, loss and grief.

Angela Ziegler / Mercy: Honestly, I can imagine Angela being a splatterpunk fan, which is a genre that explores the human body's limits in a grotesque, gory and horror-filled way. As such, a book she would recommend to someone who shares this interest and enjoys her character too is ‘Earthlings’ By Sayaka Murata. It's a novel that explores the life of a young child, who believes she's been gifted magical powers from her plush hedgehog called Piyyut. It explores this, and how trauma impacts a child's brain when it comes to development, connecting with other people and morality in society. The ending wasn't at all what Angela was expecting, telling other Overwatch members about the horrors she read (that she also really enjoyed because of the implications left with the themes) and she would recommend it until she couldn't speak anymore. However, she knows that this book can often be too much for people with it's explicit details. So for those she knows wouldn't be able to handle the themes in ‘Earthlings’, she would recommend a dystopian novel such as ‘1984’ by George Orwell as Angela enjoys exploring realities that aren't far from the ones currently happening (or are about to happen. TW/CWs for Earthlings are as follows: mental health issues, childhood trauma, child abuse, sexual assault/abuse, sexual violence, family abuse/neglect, isolation and alienation, incestuous relationships, and generally disturbing content and themes. TW/CWs for 1984 are as follows: totalitarian control/oppression, psychological torture, physical torture and violence, oppressive ideology, propaganda, censorship and erasure of history, isolation and loneliness, dystopian and despairing themes.

Moira O'Deorian: Moira's also the type to enjoy horror books, but likes to explore serial killer themes with unconventional methods of killing. She enjoys exploring the psyche of people who kill, and enjoys the perspectives that they provide. It's always something she's loved, and so she would recommend ‘A Certain Hunger’ by Chelsea G. Summers to anyone who likes her character enough to main her or shares her personality/interests. It's a mock-autobiography that explores the life of a food critic that has an unusual and disturbing hobby: she's a serial killer who targets and devours her victims. It's an exploration of femininity, with the lines between pleasure, violence and pain blurring the more that the protagonist explores her life in each chapter. Moira loved the ways in which the violence was weaved into the love stories, and would recommend it to anyone who wanted to read something new. Applicable TW/CWs are as follows: cannibalism, sexual violence, murder and violence, psychological distress, dark humour and satire, and explorations of morality.

Tekhartha Zenyatta: Zenyatta doesn't often read, and when he does it's mostly spiritualism-related content. However, he would always recommend to people similar to him or people that enjoy his character/personality the novel ‘The Name of the Wind’ by Patrick Rothfuss. The novel is about Kvothe, a gifted man who's on a quest for knowledge, personal growth and and intelligence. It gave Zenyatta a new perspective on things, continuing to grow his understanding of humanity in a different, unconventional way. He appreciates the outlooks and themes the book presented him with, and he enjoys the way it showed him more about humanity. Applicable TW/CWs are as follows: violence, child abuse, sexual assault/coercion, death and grief, trauma, psychological distress, and abuse of power.

Ok I'm working on some concept art for an Illari talon skin and I'm still in the early stages of developing her look.

I was wondering if you could give your lore wisdom into what could work for her.

So far I'm going with the ideas of invisible shackles, where she looks quite free or "unleashed" with her hair down and less armor(debating) but is actually shackled by talons manipulation, perhaps she is stripped of her culture and losing the inti warrior amor and patterns resembling shackles, restraints, and ropes .

I am taking huge inspo from widows talon skin and the talon sniper for this skin. I love the top and boots from the widow talon skin and the color scheme and cloak for the talon sniper. I also wanted to and some inti markings on her legs and arms with some tech storing the sun energy from Illari's body in some device on her armor (probably the sun dial on her chest in her default skin)

I also know that talon is not known for having the most protective armor (Widowmaker 👀). I also am taking inspo from other female characters like wonder woman and fay Valentine.

Ok so the first thing I want to point out is that Widow's Talon skin being that exposed wasn't a Talon thing, that was a Widow thing. Character wise Widow grew up in a conservative family that she hated so her having a lot of outfits that expose a lot of her skin is her being the spiteful petty queen she is. I bring this up because Illari would likely still have protective armor even in a Talon uniform, I think taking some inspiration from Baptiste's Talon skin as well would help a lot. I also think that Reaper's Dusk skin would also be worth looking at as inspiration.

Another thing is with Illari's hair, if you look at all the Talon skin (and Talon Sombra's 2D art) their hair are all in a lot more practical cuts, Widow's hair is in a short (for her) ponytail, Sombra's hair is also fairly short and out of her face (again, look at 2D art), so with Illari instead of having her hair out I suggest playing with different ways to put her hair up. I would also like to add that though Illari's hair is tied up it tied up in a very loose way, strands of hair falling out and everything. Try playing with hairstyles that are practical but a lot more restrictive.

Though the "unleashed" vibe works for Talon character in general, that isn't the type of manipulation they are using with Illari, wether they realise it or not the type of manipulation that they are using is the promise of community. I think less of a shackle motif and more of a "strings attached" one would work well but that's just my opinion. Shekels do still work well though.

I would also like to suggest looking into different myths and stories where the sun is either trapped, captured or just goes away for a bit. As Illari joining Talon does have "taming the sun" vibes. Sunset or twilight imagery would also work well for this.

I have other posts with more headcanons about them, all more specific with questions. which can be found here and here - BUT I love them as a ship and agree with you completely, so I'm taking this as a chance to ramble more about them. I hope you enjoy them and they're under the cut, enjoy! (there's no questions with this post)

Illari and Kiriko are the two people you'd never expect to actually start dating, specifically because Illari comes off as though she'd never let someone into her heart like that. But, Kiriko's the one who broke down her walls and showed her that people can be good for you and wont be taken away from you unfairly. It was unexpected, but also long overdue when they finally made things official.

You could smell the pining between the two of them from a MILE away. They'd be the type to stare at each other from across the room, ignoring everything going on around them.

Illari, if she was asked by a friend about it, would say it's nothing and she's just keeping an eye on a possible enemy. She'll say and do anything to play off that she was interested in Kiriko before they became friends, denying it because it's not what she expected for herself.

Kiriko, on the other hand, wouldn't have shame with admitting she finds Illari interesting and pleasing to look at - she wouldn't deny it, and would talk to her friends about the gold streaks in her hair or how her eyes are so mesmerising, it honestly made them think that Kiriko was lovestruck.

I like to think of Kiriko and Illari being like the two houses of Montague with their organisations and works - they're meant to be against each other, not supposed to have as close of a bond with each other, and are supposed to hate one another. However, it's like fate crossed them and they couldn't resist the connection between them, wanting to be friends and explore their shared life experiences with someone who finally gets it.

Honestly, Illari's like a guard dog for Kiriko - she feels a strong need to protect her, guard her with her life and make sure that anyone who tries to hurt her will be bitten on the hand with aggression unlike any other. She's too scared of losing the one person who understands her grief and loss, not wanting to let go of this once-in-a-lifetime connection with Kiriko,

Kiriko, on the other hand, is the reminder to Illari that life gets better. She serves as a gentle way to reassure Illari that grief won't always follow her, no matter what happens and how much harm Illari does to try and cover the pain in her heart. It's something Kiriko's had happen with herself, and she's seen the path Illari's been on in herself too, so she wants to show her partner that things get better and with the right support, you can undo the cycle of grief and trauma.

They're definitely the couple that gives one another the most obscure clues in games like Hues and Clues, trying to cheat each other out of the win. When it comes to trivia games, they'd both lie about the correct answers just to get a rile out of them.

You can't tell me that behind closed doors, Illari doesn't do the most loving but also heart-wrenching pranks on Kiriko just to see the way she goes from shock to annoyance to ‘aw thats sweet of my usually nonchalant gf’.

Like, for example, Illari will tell Kiriko that her favourite celeb died and that they should have a party to mourn their loss - she can be so convincing with it that Kiriko believes it, not wanting to question her usually serious girlfriend but it just leads to her falling into the trap. Illari doesn't take it too far, but definitely relishes in messing around with Kiriko in ways like that.

SunShrine / Illari x Kiriko Headcanons (SFW) Hiya! I already have a set of sfw hcs that you can find here - so, I've written some based on this prompt list to explore them a bit more. I would usually do nsfw instead, but I actually rly love this ship and can't get them out of my silly little head so I'm doing more romantic ones. If you want nsfw ones, feel free to send another ask through! Thank you for the request and they're under the cut, enjoy!

Who is the most insecure and what makes them feel better? Definitely Illari, she finds it hard to let herself fully indulge in love. She's terrified of losing Kiriko, and terrified that if she gets too close to her, then something or someone will rip her from her grasp and punish her more than she already has been. It's something she feels scared of, and doesn't like to talk about. The best way for Kiriko to get her out of this funk is to do something mindful but also refreshing - explorations of caves along the sea shore, walking along trails in the forest with some music in their headphones, working out in isolation together. Things that don't require talking, but help Illari gather her thoughts and understand what's happening with someone who'll always lend an ear whenever she needs it. There's no expectation to upright always tell each other what's going on, or to even talk if it's too much, so these sort of things would help reassure Illari that Kiriko's not going anywhere, but also that she's not alone and is able to enjoy life instead of getting caught up in the limbo of ‘what if’.

Who's more romantic? Kiriko is - she's more experienced with showing love, and Illari's sort of too proud of herself to let herself be stupid in love like Kiriko can be. She teases the life out of Illari for her bashfulness, often finding it more endearing how much she struggles to be affectionate towards Kiriko (especially at the start of their relationship). It's something Kiriko finds effortless as well, with her being more emotionally in touch and intelligent than Illari at the moment. She has no shame either, and will compliment her partner wherever they are, in front of whoever she wants. It makes Illari cry inside from embarrassment and sheepishness.

Who says ‘I love you’ first? I can honestly see Illari doing it first, just dropping it out of nowhere without thinking, with it being the first time she's really opened up fully about her feelings for Kiriko since beginning to date. It would've been over something so sweet that Kiriko did for her, and helped her out with, and spoke to her about. Illari would've been on the verge of tears and let it slip out, not realising until after exactly what she said but not taking it back. She'd try to play it off when Kiriko teased her about it, asking ‘what have you done with the real Illari’, but in reality Kiriko would've been screaming inside with appreciation and love for Illari.

What's the most embarrassing thing they've done in front of each other? Illari's most embarrassing thing to do in front of Kiriko is from before they started dating. Someone would've told her that her dear friend was close by, in a clothing shop getting some things. In an attempt to see her again, Illari would excuse herself from the friend, walk to the window, and attempt to walk through the doors that she swears to this day weren't closed. She walked straight into them, lost her footing and fell, dragging Kiriko's attention to her. Kiriko's response was genuine, loosing herself in the laughter of the moment while trying to sincerely help Illari out. It was sweet, but Illari couldn't live the moment down and refused to look Kiriko in the eye without feeling shame for days. She doesn't live the moment down, and still believes that the doors weren't closed when she went to walk through them, that Kiriko probably closed them to enjoy the embarrassment (in a light-hearted, teasing way). The most embarrassing thing that Kiriko's done in front of Illari was when they first started dating. Kiriko hadn't warned Illari that when she drinks carbonated drinks like Pepsi and coke, she becomes extremely gassy quickly, often belching like a dad in a restaurant after too many beers. Its something she's not ashamed of, but doesn't like to openly do in front of people. So, after a couple weeks of dating, she completely forgot that she hadn't told Illari about this, and let rip a belch unlike any other. Her response? “Pardon me” in the sweetest way possible. It caught Illari off guard, provoking her to giggle in disbelief and astonishment. It was a new level of comfortable achieved, but Illari won't let Kiriko live down how quickly she went from belching to being sweet as pie. It's hilarious to her, but embarrassing to Kiriko (not so much anymore, though).

It's movie night - what do they watch and who decides? How does it go? They usually do a coin toss for movie night - Kiriko wants to usually watch a romance movie like ‘how to lose a guy in ten days’ or ‘10 things I hate about you’, with Illari wanting to watch an action or thriller show (truthfully because she doesn't like to watch them alone). They'd do the coin toss, and if either of them lose, it would become best out of 3. If either of them lost that, they'd do rock, paper scissors. Whoever lost that would end up being the one to pick where they got their accompanying takeaway order from, to make them feel better for not being able to watch what they wanted that night. They're both incredibly competitive and rarely back down until they're frustrated and can't be bothered to keep fighting if the other's rubbing it in their face. Movie night's never a problem for them, though, with each other's presence softening their mood and making them feel closer to one another. Illari will often be found letting Kiriko cuddle up to her, secretly enjoying how warm she is and the comforting feeling of her partner snuggled up to her.

When one has a cold, what does the other do? Kiriko would tend to them and become sick with worry herself. She's a loving person, too, so she would end up saying ‘I don’t care if I get sick' when she's told she can't get a kiss or cuddle from Illari. It's something that always results in her getting sick too, joining Illari in bed watching Star Wars or Marvel movies to relax and get through the fevers and chills. It's funny to Illari, but Kiriko hates being sick. She just can't help herself, though, and she wants to make sure Illari's safe and taken care of as though Kiriko's her nurse. On the other hand, when Kiriko's sick and Illari's the one expected to take care of her, she becomes mortified. Partially due to the fact that she's concerned about it spreading, but also because she doesn't want Kiriko hurt. She'll observe from the side-lines, getting as close as possible without being too close to get sick herself, which frustrates Kiriko. Illari will give up her bed for however long they're sick, sleeping on the sofa or a chair in their bedroom to keep an eye on them properly. She wishes she could be more comforting, but she physically can't stand the idea of being sick. If Kiriko so much as coughs in her direction, she's spraying her hands with disinfectant and testing her for a plethora of diseases and illnesses.
