darkest? well in terms of cover i would say self-titled or bfiafl lol. topic wise iliwys is the darkest to me cause u can rlly tell that matty was struggling during that time (great tunes tho). socially and culture-wise i'd say noacf is the darkest bc it deals w some pretty heavy topics

Yeah, I meant it in terms of topic. I don't know what's darker, Matty struggling during iliwys and sometimes trying to convince himself that he's fine (Paris, UGH, etc.), or, like Matty relapsing after having successfully gotten clean and dealt with some stuff, going through a break up, and having to deal with all the emotions that he's ignored so far during NOACF. The Birthday Part, Frail State of Mind, FUCKIN BAGSY NOT IN NET is essentially like "let's off ourselves at the same time wouldn't that be a good idea." And, of course, the added layer of the social commentary. like not only is he crumbling but the world around him is too. ooooffff. Yeah, see, I don't know. so difficult to decide.
